The litmus test is…. wait for it,…. whether or not you voted for Obama.  

If you did not – you’re racist.   If you did not vote for Obama, and you don’t act or behave racist – you just don’t know you’re racist.

Not Voting for Obama. In a very different context, these tendencies also cropped up in the 2008 presidential election, pitting a white candidate (John McCain) against a black one (Barack Obama). In a 2009 study, B. Keith Payne of the University of North Carolina and his colleagues compared explicit and implicit bias scores for a large number of individuals with their self-reported voting behavior in the election. On the heels of the latest revelation that 10% of Tea Party donors have suffered through IRS audits – The following was posted yesterday on the home page for the House Ways and Means Committee:

Washington, DC – Today, Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) announced that one year into the investigation of the IRS targeting and abusing conservative groups, the agency has agreed to turn over all Lois Lerner emails to the Committee. Lerner is a central figure in the investigation and served as Director of Exempt Organizations at the IRS.

“While it is good that we are finally getting these emails, it should never have taken this long. The agency is finally doing what is right and hopefully this is the last of the delays. It is almost a year to the day since Lois Lerner ‘apologized’ for the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups, and we need to get to the bottom of this. These documents are critical to an investigation that is holding the IRS accountable and ensuring the constitutional rights of these groups are never trampled on again. The Committee will thoroughly review the Lerner documents and follow them wherever they may lead.”   (more)

WASHINGTON DC – The House of Representatives voted Wednesday to hold former IRS official Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress for refusing to testify about the agency’s targeting of conservative groups.

The House voted 231-187 for a resolution holding Lerner in contempt.

Lerner’s case will now be sent to the Justice Department, which then must decide whether to essentially prosecute Lerner in the case.

House GOP leaders have said Lerner’s testimony is important to fully investigate the scandal, in which IRS agents singled out Tea Party nonprofit applications for extra scrutiny. (more…)

Interesting contrast inside the latest polling from Texas.   Wendy Davis has wider name recognition yet Greg Abbott is extending his overall lead.   What’s also interesting is how Wendy Davis polls worse the more people get to know her.  And this is a Democrat friendly poll:

(Via Public Policy Polling)  PPP’s newest Texas poll finds Republicans leading by double digits in all of the state’s major races for 2014.
In the Governor’s race Greg Abbott’s at 51% to 37% for Wendy Davis. Those numbers are largely unchanged from our last poll of the state in early November when Abbott had a 50/35 advantage.
Davis had a 39/29 favorability rating right after her famous filibuster last June, but since then voters in the state have mostly moved toward having negative opinions about her and now she’s at a 33/47 spread. (more…)

Remember this ?  (February 2013) Conservative activist and founder of True the Vote, Catherine Engelbrecht, filed an ethics complaint against far left Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD).    Ms. Engelbrecht accused Cummings of harassment and intimidation.

Democrat House Committee Member Elijah Cummings denied he, nor his staff, ever had contact with leadership in the IRS about targeting or getting documents for Ms. Engelbrecht’s group, “True The Vote”.

However, today (Via WFB)  The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) sent tax documents on a targeted conservative group to Democratic staff on the House Oversight Committee, newly released emails show, despite previous denials by ranking Oversight Democrat Elijah Cummings (D., Md.) that such contact had occurred. I could actually make a solid argument that Mitch McConnell is actually a BIGGER danger because at least with Obama you know in advance what he supports, McConnell tries to hide it to retain his power.
McConnell and the CoC fully support:

♦  Comprehensive immigration reform to include amnesty.
♦  Common Core federal educational standards.
♦  ObamaCare – Or The federal delivery of uniform mandated healthcare to all citizens.

Mitch McConnell is the personification of what will lead to a third party.   If McConnell wins his primary next month you will see a radical shift in political discussion from me.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the Big Money (K-Street) influence within the Establishment GOP.   The CoC’s President is Tom Donohue.   The CoC has three 2014 demands of Republicans:

• 1.  Keep ObamaCare intact at all costs.
• 2.  Get Immigration Reform and Amnesty Legislation passed.
• 3.  Support Common Core federal education standards in all 50 states.

The CoC has committed to attack any non-establishment Republican candidate who does not support their objectives.   The CoC has pledged tens of millions toward defeating Tea Party candidates.   Karl Rove is one of the SuperPacs carrying out their agenda.  Now Today:
FLORIDA – (Via Liberal Miami Herald)  Jeb Bush, the former Florida governor and a leading contender in the early GOP race for the White House, has fashioned himself as the “education governor.”
But on Friday, Bush went veggie.
“I was the kind of the Eat Your Broccoli Governor,” Bush joked at the Broward Workshop business breakfast where he pointed out that his policies weren’t always perceived as sweet. […]
Bush has advocated for pathways to citizenship and residency for illegal immigrants, enhanced border security and immigrant tracking technology and an emphasis on admitting immigrants based on the nation’s needs, not family relationships with current U.S. citizens.

The Chamber of Commerce and Tom Donohue, must be funneling a lot of money into Rene Elmer’s campaign.   She is certainly advocating their position(s):

1. Keep ObamaCare intact regardless of what your constituents want.
2. Get Amnesty Legislation passed at all costs.
3. Keep Selling Common Core education to the sheeple masses.

One of the constituents attending the meeting recorded the conversation.
