Gaige Grosskreutz was one of the attackers of Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha Wisconsin last year.  After giving testimony earlier today attempting to paint himself as a victim of Rittenhouse, the witness/attacker admitted today in during cross examination he was shot only after he threatened Rittenhouse by pointing a gun at him inches away from his head.

While the prosecution hoped Grosskreutz’s sketchy testimony would assist their case, the actual testimony supports the defense claim of Rittenhouse acting in self defense after being attacked by a mob.  The crushing admission is below (prompted to 08:10) WATCH:

The prosecution case just collapsed.  Rittenhouse, now 18, is charged with homicide and attempted homicide for shooting three people during the Kenosha riots as the mob attacked him.  Rittenhouse shot and killed 36-year-old Joseph Rosenbaum, 26-year-old Anthony Huber, and wounded Gaige Grosskreutz.  All of the people shot by Rittenhouse were attacking him at the time.

The problem with modern Democrats is that they believe in what they are doing….

There’s a lot of celebration on the side of the everyday commonsense electorate, as voters last night in the November off-year election have rebuked their policies in almost every municipal election held.  However, do not fool yourself into believing the election outcome will cause Democrats to pause in their efforts.  The radical leftists who now control Democrat policy priorities do not have any inclination to reverse course; instead they will double down.

The need for control is a reaction to fear.  Anger is a very visible response from the leftists whenever their policies are rejected.  The modern political left do not view rejection as a rebuke of their ideology, instead they view rejection as a need to push harder.  From their perspective they need to reeducate their target; to force a change in thinking from incorrect thoughts to correct thoughts; and the only acceptable path is to push harder.

This approach is based on a cognitive inability to reflect or contemplate that their ideology is flawed.  Because they put the emotion of their views as the motive for their effort, they are incapable of changing direction.  From the perspective of the modern political left, if they were to change direction, they would be rejecting the foundation of their own personal value.  They cannot do that.  It’s not them that are wrong -ever- it’s you.

Those who do not adhere to the insane ideological goals of the far left, are viewed as the problem that must be overcome.  Their emotional attachment to ideology is why these avowed and ideological followers cannot be redeemed or coerced into reasonable positions with any logical argument.  Instead, you must be re-educated to see their worth, to value their ideology… you, the person or group who stands in their way, will always be viewed as the problem.

Tucker Carlson hit the nail on the head in his opening monologue tonight.  This is the first time the DOJ National Security Division (DOJ-NSD) has been spotlighted as the center of Main Justice’s political targeting operation.  One small but important point Tucker got wrong was the timeline of the DOJ-NSD being weaponized for domestic political targeting operations.   Tucker puts the shift as recent; however, the shift actually took place when Obama took office with Eric Holder as AG.

Some CTH readers may remember how the DOJ-NSD refused to accept inspector general oversight {pdf here} as led by AG Eric Holder and DAG Sally Yates.  More readers will remember the DOJ-NSD is the epicenter of FISA abuses.  It is the DOJ-NSD where Main Justice can operate in the shadows, because they use the shield of national security; a key strategy of the Fourth Branch of government.

The DOJ-NSD is the targeting center of Main Justice where folks like John Carlin, Mary McCord, Bruce Ohr, Andrew Weissmann, David Laufmann, George Toscas (and later Dana Boente) were operating against the incoming Trump administration and later the Trump presidency.  The DOJ-NSD is where selective Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) violations are used against political enemies like Michael Flynn, while people like the Podesta brothers are ignored.

The weaponization of the United Stated Department of Justice originated in the conference rooms of the DOJ-NSD, and soon thereafter the alignment with the intelligence apparatus to create the Fourth Branch of Government took place. {Go Deep}  AG Merrick Garland is just a continuum of the Obama mission to use the DOJ-NSD, that is why Lisa Monaco was installed as the operational command center of the DOJ-NSD and John Carlin was rehired.  WATCH:

And now the rest of the administration and media will have to join with the Biden narrative and push the fake news.   Which is exactly what happened when DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was asked moments ago.

Now that Biden is pushing a transparently obvious lie; and now the administration and media are forced to support this transparently obvious lie; and now the leftist supporters in America will have to maintain support for this transparently obvious lie; and that only further divides the country.

California gubernatorial candidate Larry Elder [Website Here] was assaulted by a violent rage-fill group of Democrats during a campaign stop in Venice today.  One of the racist Newsom supporters was wearing a gorilla mask and shouting vulgar epithets at the black republican candidate.

As security stepped forward to block the agitators from throwing eggs at the GOP candidate, other activists moved in and started becoming violent.  The entire event was caught on camera. WATCH:

The Williamson County, Tennessee chapter of the Moms for Liberty organization did an extensive review of Wit and Wisdom’s K-5 curriculum. Moms for Liberty read the books and the teacher’s manuals. So did I. And I must compliment Wit and Wisdom. The teaching techniques are state-of-the-art. What’s objectionable is Wit and Wisdom turning its intellectual firepower on defenseless children.”

I’m not 100% sure whether this is unbridled arrogance or just jaw-dropping tone-deafness, but this is absurd.  These are toxic sociopaths operating on a level of totalitarian outlook that is alarming as heck.

The American Federation of Teachers (AFT), a national union led by hard-line leftist Randi Weingarten, has announced adding $2.5 million to a legal fund specifically intended to fight parents for control over education curriculum.

Apparently the AFT feels they should be permitted to determine the curriculum of what they teach.  Parents do not get a say in what is taught to their children; this is a remarkable admission of indoctrination.  The arrogance of this is really quite remarkable and highlights just how out-of-touch with teaching the education system has become.

WASHINGTON – […] “Mark my words: Our union will defend any member who gets in trouble for teaching honest history,” Weingarten said in remarks for a virtual address to union members. “Teaching the truth is not radical or wrong. Distorting history and threatening educators for teaching the truth is what is truly radical and wrong.”

In an interview, Weingarten said the union is adding $2.5 million to an existing legal defense fund in anticipation of local fights over the teaching of race. The funding will be used to defend teachers who are disciplined for teaching about slavery and racism, Weingarten said. The union is also considering filing lawsuits to get clarification about new state laws limiting how racism can be discussed in schools, she said.

President Trump said very strongly that anyone who voted for the impeachment hoax will not be supported and he will work to support their primary opponent. Additionally, President Trump touched on the issues he faced with a DC system that is against any outsider. One key point in the interview [@20:30] is when Ric Grenell notes that President Trump stopped travel from China during the early stages of the COVID outbreak despite the advice from everyone else in the administration not to do it.

A statement made by Joint Chiefs Chairman General Mark Milley defending the teaching Critical Race Theory to West Point cadets has gained some attention.  However, the comments Milley made today actually reconcile several years of CTH watching Milley operate and having puzzling questions.

Remember, General Milley did some really odd things as Joint Chiefs Chairman under President Trump:

(1) Milley never removed Lt. Col Alexander Vindman from his White House post after the underling compromised his leadership position.  The pentagon left Vindman on assignment to the NSC even after Vindman attempted to take-down President Trump.

(2) Milley was then slow to react to Navy Secretary Richard Spencer threatening President Trump; attempting to extort him into inaction over the disciplinary plans against the SEAL commando, Chief Petty Officer Edward Gallagher.  And perhaps worst of all…

(3) Joint Chief Chairman Milley, SoS Mike Pompeo traveled to Mar-a-Lago in December 2019, where they informed President Trump of military strikes in Syria and Iraq *after* they took place. [Background Here] [Background Here].  President Trump made Esper, Milley and Pompeo hold a press conference without Trump supporting them; then President Trump remained silent on the issue for days.

It seemed like CTH was alone noticing the issues with the Pentagon and suspicions of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Defense Secretary Mark Esper and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley.  However, a few days after the Mar-a-Lago incident Col Douglas Macgregor expressed his own suspicions about the U.S. military attack in Iraq and Syria that paralleled our gut reaction. Macgregor stated he believed President Trump was being intentionally and “skillfully, misinformed”.
