For a select group of dedicated people today marks a moment on a specific timeline over seven years long.

2008 and 2009 were tough years for advocates of small government and constitutional freedom.  The Auto-bailout, TARP, Omnibus and a trillion dollar “stimulus” signaled fiscal irresponsibility toward many; but a small group understood the larger issues which would tear apart a constitutional republic.  We connected, and more importantly, we assembled.
After another defeat at 1:38am on December 23rd 2009, we knew our heels were over the precipice of the abyss.  Act, or be acted upon.
Within four days the urgent message was transmitted though every possible resource that we could muster.
Meeting at the old mill, we rode that night, December 27th 2009, with urgency.  Our destination was Wrentham Massachusetts.
Three intense weeks and thousands of like-minded supporter notifications later, we finally had a win.  Ted Kennedy’s people’s seat was secured at least temporarily.  This was battlefield triage; everyone, every-darned-person was clear-eyed that Scott Brown was only buying us time to catch our breath….. ♦ 3 pm to 5 pm – Inaugural parade. The newly minted president and vice-president make their way 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers) along Pennsylvania Avenue from the Capitol to the White House, trailed by some 8,000 parade participants. They will include members of all US military branches, as well as high school and university marching bands, equestrian corps, first responders, veteran groups and even a tractor brigade.

♦ 7 pm to 11 pm – President Trump, Vice-President Pence and their wives will make appearances at three official inaugural balls, two of which will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and the other at the National Building Museum. A number of semi-official and unofficial balls also will take place throughout the city.

Several Police Injured – National Guard Called to Duty

Democrat operatives of various violent factions have formed to oppose the presidency of Donald Trump.  The Anti-Capitalist and Anti-Fascist DisruptJ20 Inauguration protest has turned violent with Black Lives Matter activists and Democrat party professional agitators united to destroy Washington DC.

President-elect Donald Trump sat down with Fox Morning host Ainsely Earhardt for an extended one-on-one interview which was broadcast this morning:

Mason Weaver, a former Black Panther, takes issue with legendary civil rights activist Rep. John Lewis calling Trump an illegitimate president.  In an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News, Weaver skewers the hypocrisy of Lewis, and calls out Democrats as the party of the Klan.
Mr. Weaver has a dream, and it doesn’t look anything like the nightmare created by John Lewis and company.

Martin Luther King III visited with President-elect Donald Trump today in New York. After the meeting PE Trump walked MLK III to the lobby.  The media yelled at MLK III to come back and speak to the cameras. MLK III obliged the press.

Gunfire erupts during a Martin Luther King Jr. Day event in Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Miami. The scene is at 6000 NW 32nd Court. Witnesses say women and possibly children were among the victims. Eight people injured, 3 gunshot victims. Multiple agencies are on scene searching for the shooter. WSVN7 News Reporting:

Police say among the eight people shot were three adults and five minors. An 18-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man remain in stable condition while a 20-year-old man is in critical condition, the Miami Herald reports. (more)
MIAMI – 7News reporter Ann Keil and photographers were about 100 feet away from the scene of the shooting, along Northwest 32nd Avenue and Northwest 62nd Street. They heard between four and six shots. Moments later, the news crew saw displaced children crying after losing their parents when a stampede of attendees ran away from the scene in search of safety.

At 8:13am this morning the wife of Orlando mass shooting gunman Omar Mateen, Noor Salman, was arrested by the FBI in San Francisco California.  Salman is expected to appear in federal court in Oakland on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m  The case is being handled by the U.S. Central District Court in Florida. Neither charging documents nor federal affidavits were online on Monday.

[…]  Noor Salman was arrested on charges of aiding and abetting by providing material support to a terrorist organization and obstruction of justice. In June 2016, a source close to the family told NBC News that Mateen sent his wife a text message during the rampage, asking her, “Do you see what’s happening?” After swapping texts, she tried to call him. Interestingly, today Bob Woodward separates his journalistic integrity from the corrupt bastardization of CNN and Carl Bernstein.  Additionally, President Donald Trump thanks Woodward for his intellectual honesty.
BACKGROUND: Four political operatives at CNN (Jake Tapper, Jim Scuitto, Evan Perez and Carl Bernstein), colluded with two highly politicized top level Obama administration intelligence officials, ODNI John Brennan and CIA Director John Brennan, under the auspices of leaks from “anonymous senior intelligence officials” – on the construct of Russian narrative to undermine the incoming presidency of Donald Trump.

After being called onto the carpet, and doused in sunlight for their endeavors, CNN has been rabid in their attempts to obfuscate the construct of the intentional hit job and defend the indefensible.
CNN has spent the better part of every single broadcast for the past six days trying to justify their role in carrying out the synergistic political objectives of the politicized intelligence community and media propaganda.  They have failed.

After 18 months of getting the presidential election completely wrong, not a single mainstream media outlet has looked honestly in the mirror, admitted their inherent flaws and committed to any change in approach, management or journalistic personnel. Exactly the opposite, they’ve quadrupled down on the same old – same old.

Consider a media request for access as you would any employment application:

♦ Drug test anyone who requests credentials for the White House press. Conduct background checks, criminal checks and credit checks via a third party security vendor. Dismiss any applicant who does not pass a strict background check.
♦ Keep using twitter and facebook daily, or as determined to send direct messaging to a news-consuming public. Keep using social media, and/or any alternate communications platforms to communicate with the American People.
♦ Establish a strict dress code for credentialed media. No casual days, ever. 100% business professional, 100% of the time. No business casual, ever.
