DETROIT (WWJ) – After a class action lawsuit filed against the city of Detroit, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund says that recent water shutoffs to Detroit residents were racially motivated.

Veronica Joice with the NAACP Legal Defense Fund says, “That (the shutoffs are) being done in a discriminatory fashion; and they should at least take a look at whether there’s a better way to do this that doesn’t affect the most vulnerable citizens — the majority of whom are African American here in Detroit.”
Attorney Alice Jennings, who filed the lawsuit on behalf of Detroit residents, said it’s a known fact that there are corporations that owe hundreds of thousands of dollars to the city of Detroit Water and Sewerage Department.
“These companies are basically Caucasian companies,” Jennings said. “The folks who are being cut off are almost one hundred percent African American.”

A Texas Media outlet has just caught on to something we discovered and have shared with you. Previously we identified the BIG THREE large non-profit corporations getting massive grants from DHS and HHS. These were the “faith based groups” President Obama met in Dallas 7/9/14.
They are, listed smallest to largest:
- #3 Bronze – U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, and/or, U.S. Catholic Charities $70,000,000+
- #2 Silver – Southwest Key Programs Inc $122,000,000+
- #1 Gold – Baptist Child and Family Services Emergency Management Division (BCFS-EMD) $270,000,000+
Today we focus on one. “Southwest Key Programs Inc” – KEYE TV in Austin Texas has just discovered the ruse and the tentacles of how these “private corporations”, ie. “non profit groups”, think ACORN, actually tie to their community and hide under the cover of funding from DHS/HHS Grants. We found this specific Private Company nets 98.76% of earnings from government grants [2012 IRS form 990 pg 14].
When KEYE TV reporters go asking questions they discover the secrecy of HHS. To quote Bruce Willis: ..”welcome to the party pal“..

KEYE TV – TEXAS – More than $100 million of federal grant money this year has gone to an Austin based company that runs unaccompanied minor shelters across the country.
Its website says Southwest Key Programs is the largest provider of services to unaccompanied children in the United States. Their headquarters is in Austin, Texas.
A brief online description details the children they help, how they’re accepted and a short write up of the types of services provided.
A map provided by Southwest Key officials outlines their different locations and programs across the county. But if you have questions about the money it receives from the federal government for unaccompanied children officials with the non-profit aren’t talking.
While their corporate address is listed as right here in Austin when you try to ask about their child immigrant shelters you get directed to a federal agency — the Office of Refugee Resettlement, which is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
But they’re not talking either. (more…)
Redistribution of intellectual effort. No, this is not a joke – unfortunately. If you earn an “A” and you are white or Asian, you need to have your grade lowered so a minority grade can be raised if lower.
WISCONSIN – A new policy at the University of Wisconsin – Madison states that good grades should be distributed equally among students of different races.

The policy, named the “Framework for Diversity and Inclusive Excellence,” calls for “proportional participation of historically underrepresented racial-ethnic groups at all levels of an institution, including high status special programs, high-demand majors, and in the distribution of grades.”
UW – Madison professor W. Lee Hansen wrote about his concerns with the policy in a piece published Wednesday. (more…)
“our people”? Hmmm, where have we heard that before? Oh yes, that’s right:
….in the mind of a hyphenated progressive, there’s always an adjective that precedes the word “American”. I digress….
(Via Breitbart) On Saturday, Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) said President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program was a “down payment” to the Hispanic community before more grants of amnesty for illegal immigrants.
Speaking at the National Council of La Raza conference in Los Angeles, Gutierrez said that Obama assured him during a White House meeting with Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus last week that he would be as “generous and broad” as he can to “stop the deportation of our people each and every day.”
“You gave us a down payment when you freed 600,000 DREAMers from deportation,” Gutierrez said. “Now it is time for the president in the United States… [to] free the Mom and Dads of the DREAMers. And to go further. Be broad and expansive and generous.” (read more)
Two weeks have passed since I first asked about a dozen people to direct me to pictures of Unaccompanied Minor Children actually crossing the border. So far not a single person at/near the border has EVER seen a minor child alone – Not ONE.
Glenn Beck went to the border today to feed the unaccompanied children. Here’s a few of his pictures:

(Via Daily Caller) New data shows the White House has painted a false picture of the Central American migration by hiding a huge spike in “family units” who are illegally crossing the Texas border.
The data, which was dumped by the U.S. border patrol late Friday afternoon, shows that inflow of youths and children traveling without parents has doubled since 2013, to 57,525 in the nine months up to July 2014. (more…)
If your children are old enough to be in college, they probably think the country they were born into is falling apart. If you’re a Baby Boomer like myself, you know the country you were born into is already gone. It’s a hard thing to thwart the general feeling of optimism shared by most Americans during a beautiful summer season. But, if you stop and take a thoughtful assessment of the disasters currently befalling our world, perhaps you’ll see that the fall might be closer than you think.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The summer of 2014 will go down in history as the season when America fell apart. Let’s take a tour of the disasters…
(Townhall)…Germany in 2008 enthusiastically hosted candidate Barack Obama for his so-called “Victory Column” speech. Now, Germans suddenly sound as if they are near-enemies of the U.S. Chancellor Angela Merkel reportedly was furious that her cell phone was tapped by American intelligence agents. She just kicked the top CIA official out of Germany, further enraged that the U.S. had recruited at least one German official to provide intelligence on the German government. Polls show that Germans find Vladimir Putin’s Russian tyranny almost as popular as Barack Obama’s America.
Japan is becoming similarly frustrated with the U.S. It is rearming like crazy to confront an aggressive China. Both Asian powers apparently assume that Obama won’t guarantee the security of the Japanese as America had in the past. (more…)
A few days ago we posted some details, and a large dose of opinion, about the latest misguided efforts of Glenn Beck’s “Bold and Sanctimonious Tour” – and a strange thing happened…. few, if any, thought our critical outline was controversial.
It would appear the Patriotic U.S. Sleeping Giant is awake, at least on this issue:
Is it really “charity” when the federal government is using the IRS to collect the “offering”?
What follows below is a little more depth on the issue of “Faith Based” organizations and those receiving federal grants to facilitate illegal immigration.
We have received numerous requests to turn the eye of research into exactly what these organizations are. Specifically, one group that is continually in the media stories when they describe “faith-based” organizations and subsequent assistance to illegal aliens, or unaccompanied alien children, Baptist Child and Family Services or BCFS.
“Faith Based Organizations“. Has a nice charitable ring to it, no? At least on the surface it’s a great sounding catch phrase. Such descriptivism gives the reader or listener the impression of “charity” in some form. At the very least, as Mr. Teddy Bears and Soccer Balls -Glenn Beck- has recently been espousing, they would seem quite, well, “charitable“.
Alas, not so fast.
Allow us to introduce to you Mr. Kevin Dinnin.
He’s the paid President and CEO of Baptist Child and Family Services Emergency Management Division (BCFS-EMD). We found him by backtracking the name of the principal officer posted on their 2012 tax filings.
Paid at an annual salary of $477,799+ I might add.
Not a bad gig for himself and rest of the BCFS-EMD leadership and staff who pulled in, and paid $33,000,000 in wages for 2012.
Yes, that is THIRTY THREE MILLION. In payroll.
You see, BCFS is two entities. You have BCFS and BCFS-EMD.
BCFS Health and Human Services’ Emergency Management Division (BCFS EMD) is a non-profit partner of federal, state and local government and private industry. Our organization specializes in emergency management, incident management, disaster response, public health and medical emergency response, mass care, medical sheltering and planning for vulnerable populations. Call me crazy but I thought that’s what FEMA was for….. oh well, I digress.
Now, at this point I’d usually link to a bunch of internal publicly available information about BCFS-EMD so you could cruise around and dig in for your own analytical curiosity. However, a strange thing happened while assembling this research; the site closed down many of the page functions during my assembly….. presto: “ACCESS DENIED” !
I’ll have to leave it up to you why they did this. But I can assure you the change in sunlight protocol occurred between the hours of noon on Wednesday 7/16/14 and 11:30pm that same day. How do I know? Because for the past two days I’ve been mining data on this organization – and the “Access Denied” only occurred after I had already been assembling the cast of characters and tracking down their tax filings.
This latest report just further outlines what we have previously researched….
WASHINGTON DC – A new intelligence assessment concludes that misperceptions about U.S. immigration policy – and not Central American violence – are fueling the surge of thousands of children illegally crossing the Mexican border.
The 10-page July 7 report was issued by the El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC), which according to the Justice Department website is led by the DEA and incorporates Homeland Security. Its focus is on the collection and distribution of tactical intelligence, information which can immediately be acted on by law enforcement.
“Of the 230 migrants interviewed, 219 cited the primary reason for migrating to the United States was the perception of U.S. immigration laws granting free passes or permisos to UAC (unaccompanied children) and adult females OTMs (other than Mexicans) traveling with minors,” the report said. (Kurt Schlichter) Liberals will tell you that the IRS scandal is a “phony scandal,” apparently because using the federal government as a tool of oppression against one’s political opponents is A-OK as long as the ones using it are liberals and the ones being oppressed are conservatives.
Remember, scratch a liberal and it’ll bleed fascist brown.
So why not start off your discussion with your liberal conversationalist pal by posing that basic question: Is it okay, or is it not okay, to use federal agencies to harass and persecute your political opponents?
Now to us, because we are decent people and real Americans, the answer is “No,” but most hardcore liberals truly believe that it’s absolutely acceptable for Barack Obama to oppress his political opponents using the federal agencies under his control. To them, the rules and rights that protect all Americans only protect all Americans that they agree with. (more…)
WHITE HOUSE – Top White House officials had an hour-long meeting with a group of scholars and activists calling for the inclusion of girls of color in President Obama’s signature racial justice program known as My Brother’s Keeper.
The meeting included the Rev. Al Sharpton, who has championed MBK, and top activists and academics who signed a letter criticizing the initiative for focusing on boys and young men of color without a corollary for girls of color.
Sharpton, reached via e-mail, described the meeting as “constructive.”
A White House official sent She The People this readout from the meeting: (more…)
