Trying desperately to take advantage of a media cycle filled with all things Ukrainian – John Podesta smooth’s White House agenda under the radar…..  What the administration is trying to do is keep an electorate from feeling the consequences of Obamacare and trying to retain power despite it…. 

(Washington Examiner) – The Obama administration announced Wednesday that it would allow insurers to keep until October 2016 health plans that do not meet Obamacare regulations, pushing back another Affordable Care Act deadline well past November’s midterms.

Facing the prospect of another wave of cancellation notices this fall, the administration took even further action to mitigate the blowback from President Obama’s broken promise that all Americans could keep their health care plans under Obamacare.

The Department of Health and Human Services had already given insurers the option of continuing those plans facing cancellation through 2014, and on Wednesday said those policies could remain in effect an additional two years. (more…)

WASHINGTON — A congressional hearing into the furor over political targeting by the Internal Revenue Service descended into political theater of the absurd Wednesday, as the former IRS official at the heart of the case again asserted her Fifth Amendment rights and refused to answer questions.

Lois Lerner, the former director of Tax-Exempt Organizations for the IRS, led the division that oversaw the staffers responsible for making sure that so-called social welfare groups were not going out of bounds with their political activities. (more…)

There has been an ongoing psyops war waged by the Obama Administration and its sycophants against the U.S. military.

Traditionally, the U.S. military has always enjoyed high approval ratings from the American public at large – they support the military in funding; in its non-combat humanitarian missions as diplomatic outreach (such as the US Navy Hospital Ships, USNS Comfort and USNS Mercy); and are, for the most part, proud of the work that the US military does in defending freedom and the highest ideals of “America” –

individual liberty, peace, free trade, domestic stability among the many hallmarks of the “shining city on the hill”.  In very few other countries, do so many citizens have direct experience – having served, themselves – or a first degree relative connection to someone who has served in the armed forces. Day #1 – A limp-wristed commentary from the White House;  Stompy then went directly to a DNC fundraiser to kick off “Happy Hour” – Russia moves troops into Crimea, secures airport, takes Ukraine parliamentary building and sends in dozens of helicopters and fighter jets.

Day #2 – Obama skips National Security briefing, Samantha Power delivers U.S. comments at emergency U.N. Security Council Meeting, Susan Rice gives Stompy the cliff notes. – Russia’s Parliament votes to allow full military engagement and moves approximately 50,000 troops into Ukraine.

And now comes the proverbial strongly worded White House letter where Stompy outlines that Putin has broken the rules:

WHITE HOUSE – President Obama spoke for 90 minutes this afternoon with President Putin of Russia about the situation in Ukraine. President Obama expressed his deep concern over Russia’s clear violation of Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity, which is a breach of international law, including Russia’s obligations under the UN Charter, and of its 1997 military basing agreement with Ukraine, and which is inconsistent with the 1994 Budapest Memorandum and the Helsinki Final Act. Doug Ross @ Journal has published a first hand account of a conversation a docent at the Bush Center Library had with former Senator Alan Simpson (R), co-author of the Simpson-Bowles commission report recommending fiscal reform legislation, on the outspoken former Senator’s impressions based on first-hand dealings with Barack Hussein Obama.

“….I spent the next 15 minutes (just the two of us) listening to him expound on his view of our future. His first answer was that with this president we will never make progress. He then related a story that when Bowles and Simpson requested time with the president to urge him to seriously consider their report, he was stunned by the response (as was Bowles).

The last time the federal government had a budget in place and signed by the president was Sept of 2007 for fiscal year 2008, and it was signed by George Bush.  President Obama has NEVER had a day in office with a budget in place to restrict or guide spending proposals.  Not.One.Day.

WASHINGTON DC – Senate Democrats will not write a budget for the next fiscal year.

One year after writing and passing the first Senate Democratic budget  resolution in four years, Senate Budget Committee Chairwoman Patty Murray  (D-Wash.) said her conference will not make an effort in the 2014 midterm  election year.

In a statement, Murray said there was no reason to do a fiscal 2015 budget after  the two-year deal struck in December with House Budget Committee Chairman Paul  Ryan (R-Wis.).

That deal set budget ceilings for the 2014 and 2015 fiscal years. The 2015  fiscal year begins on Oct. 1. (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – Archivists released thousands of records from the Bill Clinton presidency on Friday, including documents on activities by former first lady — and prospective 2016 presidential candidate — Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The more than 4,000 pages of documents include records on the health care task force Mrs. Clinton chaired in 1993, as well as her efforts on children’s issues, women’s rights, and micro-credit for developing countries.

The Friday release is the first in a series of document dumps from the Clinton era over the next several weeks that are expected to total more than 30,000 pages.
