Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Texas, Biden Administration Must Reinstitute ‘Remain in Mexico’ Policy

This evening the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of Texas in a lawsuit against the federal government.   [View pdf Here]  The outcome is a ruling requiring the Biden administration to reinstitute the “remain in Mexico” policy put into place during the Trump administration.  The policy requires asylum seekers to remain in Mexico while they await hearings in the United States.

The ruling was 6-3 with Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Stephen Breyer dissenting from the majority opinion.  The ruling is a significant victory for Missouri and Texas, the two states who sued over Biden’s repeal of the policy and won a favorable ruling earlier this month requiring the Biden administration to return to the Trump-era policy.

Reason for White House Panic, Biden Approval Rating Plummets – 39% Approval on Economy, 26% Approval on Afghanistan Withdrawal, Support Amid Independent Voters Abysmal

If the White House appears to be running around in a panic that’s because they are.  The USA Today/Suffolk polling shows a massive collapse in Joe Biden approval far below anything previously registered for President Trump.

According to the reports of polling outcome, overall approval for Biden is 41% with disapproval at 55%.

Additionally, Biden barely has 50% approval for his handling of the pandemic, but a mere 39% approve of his handling of the economy.  THAT is a major issue that has the potential to infect the entire Democrat platform.

THAT is also why Nancy Pelosi is pushing the agenda so hard right now.  They have lost the American public and the tsunami consequences are creating massive voter backlash.

According to USA today, “while he has held the backing of 87% of Democrats, only 32% of independents say he’s doing a good job,” again, that’s a major problem.

(USA Today) […] Half approved of his handling of the pandemic, 39% of his handling of the economy, 26% of his handling of the Afghan withdrawal.

“Today, President Biden’s overall approval has taken a turn for the worse due to his awful job performance rating on Afghanistan,” said David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk Political Research Center. “His approval on immigration and the economy are also upside down. The only issue keeping him remotely in the game is his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, where he is barely at 50%.” (more)

Biden Sticks to the Taliban Demanded August 31st Deadline, as CIA Director William Burns Negotiates Payments and Indulgency Fees to Keep Airport Safe During Final Week

The term “indulgency fee” is so much more appealing than “extortion“, just ask U.S. Ambassador John Christopher Stevens; oh,…wait. I digress.

It is being reported that CIA Director William Burns flew to Afghanistan to negotiate with Taliban leadership yesterday.  Earlier today,  Joe Biden tells the G7 nations that he is sticking to the August 31st withdrawal deadline imposed by the Taliban who are in control of almost all regions of the country including the capital city of Kabul.

For future reference, remember this CIA meeting with Taliban leadership in case the administration ever tries to say we do not negotiate with terrorists.  The Biden administration doesn’t have a choice.  The Taliban circle the airport in Kabul. The Taliban have U.S. made advanced technology surface-to-air missiles (SAMS) that we left with the Afghan army before their defeat.   As a consequence, the Taliban could easily begin shooting down any airplane attempting to take-off or land from the airport…

Hence… CIA Director Burns is almost certainly negotiating payment terms with the Taliban for safe passage.  We can only imagine how much money the Biden administration is paying the Taliban leadership to permit ongoing operations at the Kabul airport.   Think about how much Biden would pay to avoid the optics of a U.S. airplane carrying hundreds of Americans being blown out of the sky on CNN and BBC news.   That is how much we are paying.

Biden is telling everyone at the G7 he is sticking to the August 31st deadline date.  Biden addressed the leaders on the call for about seven minutes. The NATO allies are worried they will not be able to get their people out.  However, undoubtedly the extraction of Americans and allies AFTER August 31st is part of the agreement between the CIA (on behalf of Biden) and Taliban leaders.

The Taliban are not stupid, they have all the leverage in this dynamic.  The Taliban know this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to gain massive ransom payments without the international media visibility of physically holding hostages.  They also know the desperation of the Biden administration to avoid any painful optics.

Déjà vu, Overnight Nancy Pelosi Changes House Rules to Pass Green New Deal $3.5 Trillion Spending Package While Everyone Distracted by Afghanistan

If you remember how Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi forced former Representative Bart Stupak and the 19 Blue Dog democrats to cave on the Obamacare construct in 2010, then you have a solid reference point for what Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi are doing right now.

As you are reading this, Nancy Pelosi has pulled together her leadership group overnight to change the House rules for legislative passage of the $3.5 trillion Green New Deal spending package under the auspices of “infrastructure.”

This $3.5 trillion spending bill is in addition to the $1.5 trillion infrastructure bill that came from the Senate, and… she is using the $2 trillion budget package as the carrier for a slick “Deem and Pass” maneuver.

As we have seen before, right now Pelosi is changing the House rules to have a single vote on the current budget proposal which will include a ‘deem and pass’ provision that adds the $3.5 trillion Green New Deal spending package to it.

By voting to pass the omnibus budget bill, all House members will also be voting to authorize as passed the additional $3.5 trillion GND as a wraparound.

This means one single vote passes this massive social engineering project with more than $5.5 trillion in spending in a single bill.  Thereafter, the House will vote on the Senate bill separately to add another $1.5 trillion, bringing the total spending by the House before they depart to a whopping $7 trillion; forever changing the American landscape.

After several hours of discussion and conference with a group of 10 ‘moderate’ democrats led by New Jersey Representative Josh Gottheimer, shortly before 1:00am ET,  Pelosi sent the House Democrats home with a pledge to finish the rules changes and prepare for a vote today, Tuesday.   The House will reconvene at noon and the votes will be whipped.

Afghan Embassy Staff Retreat After Effort to Reach Airport, Report Taliban Gauntlet Brutality

Keeping in mind that State Department personnel are delicate wallflowers prone to exaggerated proclamations of situations, a report from U.S. embassy staff in Afghanistan trying to reach the airport contrasts a different narrative than currently outlined by the White House.

According to state department cables released to NBC news, some of the Afghan staff said they would rather take a bullet from the Taliban rather than attempt another effort to run the gauntlet and reach the Kabul airport.

(Via NBC) […]  The cable, which was sent Saturday, said memos were sent Wednesday inviting Afghan staff members at the embassy to head to Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul. It told them to take food and to prepare for difficult conditions.  “However, no one anticipated the brutal experience that occurred,” the cable said.

Staffers reported being jostled, hit, spat on and cursed at by Taliban fighters at checkpoints near the airport, it said, adding that criminals were taking advantage of the chaos while the U.S. military tried to maintain order “in an extremely physical situation.”

Curious Timing, Acting FDA Commissioner Ruled Out As Permanent Nominee Due to Her Role in Creating Opioid Epidemic

The current head of the Food and Drug Administration, Janet Woodcock, is serving in an ‘acting’ capacity only, as her name was never nominated to the senate for confirmation.  Several media outlets are now reporting her name will never be nominated because she cannot pass the confirmation process.

Ms. Woodcock (pictured left) has a rather controversial past from her career work inside the FDA which included the advanced authorization for many opioids that created a massive health crisis.  She was, for all intents and purposes, the key figure inside the FDA who gave the pharmaceutical industry cart blanche authorization to create, market and distribute the pain-killing opioids that led to hundreds-of-thousands of U.S. deaths.

Senator Joe Manchin from West Virginia represents one of the constituencies hardest hit by the opioid epidemic.  Manchin was not going to support Woodcock’s nomination.  In a 50/50 senate, she didn’t stand a chance of confirmation.

It does not seem coincidental that Ms. Woodcock was in position as ‘acting director’ just long enough for the first COVID vaccine to gain FDA approval; and then, presto, the announcement of her dispatch.  Suspicious cat remains, well, suspicious.

WASHINGTON DC – U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration has ruled out nominating Janet Woodcock as the permanent head of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Bloomberg News reported on Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Taliban Warns U.S. Not to Extend August 31st Withdrawal Deadline “Or There Will Be Consequences”, Pentagon Says No Idea How Many Americans Need Help

A spokesperson for the Taliban in Afghanistan has warned Joe Biden and U.S. military officials not to extend the August 31st withdrawal deadline in an interview with Sky News.

According to the statement from Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen:

It’s a red line. President Biden announced that on Aug. 31 they would withdraw all their military forces. So if they extend it, that means they are extending occupation while there is no need for that.  If the US or UK were to seek additional time to continue evacuations — the answer is no. Or there would be consequences,” Shaheen said, adding that extending the deadline would “create mistrust between us.”  Prolonging the “occupation will provoke a reaction.”

Earlier today Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby oddly refused to give an estimate on the number of American citizens still in Afghanistan.  Keep in mind there are scattered Americans all over the country, not just assembled in the area around the capitol city of Kabul.  WATCH this intentional effort at purposeful ambiguity:

A very worrisome picture of the Biden approach to this August 31st deadline issue is emerging.

As long as the Biden administration refuses to put a number on the Americans that need to be rescued; and considering the Taliban have affirmed a deadline date of August 31st with those Biden officials; it becomes possible for the Biden administration to pick an arbitrary number of rescued Americans at the deadline date and then say “mission accomplished.”
