Update #3: Polls Closed – Israeli Election Results Thread – Updates Throughout Afternoon/Evening – *UPDATE* Likud/Bibi Hold Off President Obama Political Offensive, Now Highly Anticipated As Victorious

israelbanner7

Today is a big day for Benjamin Netanyahu. Hopefully he wins despite President Obama using U.S. taxpayer funds to help his opponent. The general informational results will be announced via exit polling around 4PM EST (10pm Israel) ~ JPost ~

update-19:00pm (3:00am Israel) UPDATE:

In a rather stunning development it appears the “exit polls” were not actually all that accurate.

Interestingly, we were in a discussion about this earlier. It appears Netanyahu has RESOUNDINGLY defeated his opposition and the exit polls were based on “peer pressure” from Israelis trying to avoid left-wing liberal admonishment.

In the booth they voted for safety, security and a grown-up in charge. But when interviewed, it appears, some wanted to give off the “cool hopey/changey vibe’.

Obama Administration: “The United States has great respect for the religious importance of a fatwa”…

The White House says they have respect for Islamic religious fatwa’s, yet the same White House is suing several Christian organizations who don’t comply with the various constructs of the Obama decrees.  Think about that for a moment.

I saved this picture from an Egyptian news outlet because the look on Jordan’s King Abdullah is priceless….

(Via New York Times) The United States has “great respect for the religious importance of a fatwa,” Mr. Kerry told reporters during a visit to Egypt on Saturday, alluding to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s much publicized edict against the development of nuclear weapons. But negotiators, Mr. Kerry said, needed an agreement that would “guarantee that Iran’s program will be peaceful now and peaceful forever.”

In congressional testimony last week, Mr. Kerry acknowledged what 47 Republicans wrote in a letter to the Iranian leadership last week — that any “executive agreement” like this one, made without a vote in Congress, would not be legally binding on future presidents. But neither are other “executive agreements,” including the diplomatic opening to China and the accord that rid Syria of many of its chemical weapons. The White House and Mr. Kerry argue that any future president is highly unlikely to rescind the accord, particularly if Iran is complying with its terms.  (read more)

2008 Candidate Senator Obama Sent U.S. Secret Emissary To Iran Telling Them Not To Negotiate With George Bush – Said Wait For Him To Be Elected….

Stunning New Dot Connections – Methinks the White House doth protest too much. I would love to see Josh Earnest try to square the circle of this recent revelation.

The facts of this story have existed in discussion since last year, yet failed to capture traction until the recent protestations of VP Joe Biden, and Secretary of State John Kerry.

From a radio interview in October of 2014 Mark Levin discusses with Michael Leeden the details of a secret message sent by candidate Senator Barack Obama to Iran in 2008 via a former Ambassador, William G Miller.

In essence the content of the communique was Senator Obama telling the Iranian government not to negotiate with the outgoing George Bush administration because Obama was more friendly toward the position of Iran and he would work to structure a more favorable outcome to the Iranian people.

Here’s audio of the 2014 conversation between Levin and Leeden:

It is a remarkable revelation given the level of apoplectic response recently from the White House and State Dept. to a rather innocuous “open letter” from 47 Senators. (more…)

Secretary John Kerry: “We are not negotiating a legally binding agreement with Iran”…

Which leads to the obvious retort from Senator Tom Cotton:

Secretary of State John Kerry, Defense Secretary Ashton Carter, and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair General Martin Dempsey testified today at a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on President Obama’s request for authorization for use for military force (AUMF) against ISIS. -full hearing here-

However, Democrats strategically planted a question for Secretary John Kerry (by Senator Chris Murphy) to attack Republican Senators for their recent controversial open letter to Iran. Kerry had a scripted response for the question he was anticipating. Within that response was the startling statement/claim the White House is not negotiating a “legally binding agreement with Iran” to stop their nuclear weapons program.

If you are short on time watch this first video. However, if you have the 7 minutes to watch the entire response skip to the second video.

Senate Open Letter To Iran Draws Apoplectic Response From Democrats Who Suffer Convenient Memory Loss…

Forty-seven Republicans on Sunday wrote an open letter to Tehran suggesting any nuclear deal with the Obama administration would not be constitutionally binding because a future president or Congress could take steps to revoke it.

a-OBAMAIRAN-386x217Hey Iran

Vice-President Joe Biden kicked off the Democrat meme by calling the letter an unprecedented affront “designed to undercut a sitting president.”

… […] “In thirty-six years in the United States Senate, I cannot recall another instance in which Senators wrote directly to advise another country — much less a longtime foreign adversary — that the President does not have the constitutional authority to reach a meaningful understanding with them. This letter sends a highly misleading signal to friend and foe alike that that our Commander-in-Chief cannot deliver on America’s commitments — a message that is as false as it is dangerous.” (link)

Democrats and Their Liberal News Colleagues Respond To Netanyahu Speech….

To prove the Netanyahu speech was political, the Democrats pull a political stunt and boycotted the speech.  However, their ignorance doesn’t stop them from quickly joining in apoplectic fits to ridicule the delivery of the message.

democrats 2Nancy Pelosi ICBM

Nancy Pelosi grabs her pearls, steadies her shaking sensibilities, and opines she was in tears, TEARS, as she listened to the outline of how dangerous it would be for Iran to gain nuclear weapon capability. Not tears of worry for Israel, but rather tears that Dear Leader Obama’s claim to the contrary is being undermined:

[…]  That is why, as one who values the U.S. – Israel relationship, and loves Israel, I was near tears throughout the Prime Minister’s speech – saddened by the insult to the intelligence of the United States as part of the P5 +1 nations, and saddened by the condescension toward our knowledge of the threat posed by Iran and our broader commitment to preventing nuclear proliferation. Nancy Pelosi and the entire contingent of the Congressional Black Caucus ran out of the chamber as soon as Prime Minister Netanyahu was finished delivering his speech. (more…)

The White House Fear of Netanyahu Is at Fevered Pitch….

Everyone following the political dynamics of this administration knows their ‘poker tell’, it’s brutally obvious.

This administration shows their fear with the sheer rabidity of what they proclaim not to be doing.

Samantha Power - Susan Rice - President Obama

Today the White House, and every single senior official, is publically shouting about President Obama NOT going to watch the Benjamin Netanyahu speech to congress. A brutally transparent falsehood identified easily by the scope of the public protestations therein.

In order to fully understand what is at stake one only needs to accept the empirical reality that “control is a reaction to fear”. The absence of control breeds a fear that reaches fevered pitches when the causation is about to take stage. This is the sentiment echoing through the halls of the marbled executive branch and the offices at Foggy Bottom tonight as the professional political class try and cope with their fear.

But if control is the reaction to fear, and the lack of control stimulates a frenzied fear response, then what exactly is it that Team Obama fear so openly? As highlighted within this CNN presentation the answers are brutally obvious: (more…)

AWKWARD – Susan Rice Gets Selected To Tell AIPAC The ‘Hard Sell’ – That Obama Administration Is Acquiescing To Iran

Earlier today Samantha Power was designated to play the role of ‘good cop’, and make the case, albeit difficult given her life’s work to undermine Israel, that President Obama and the current U.S. administration support Israel.

However, later this evening Susan Rice was designated to play the role of ‘bad cop’, and tell the AIPAC audience that despite their desires and wishes the Obama administration is going to allow Iran to have nuclear capabilities.

As part of her attempt to explain, Rice stated:

“I know some of you would be urging congress to insist that Iran forgo it’s domestic enrichment capacity, entirely”

AWKWARD – the audience then erupts in uncomfortable applause to express their affirmation of that principle – yes, exactly!

Yet, Rice had to deliver the bad news…..  in the opinion of her boss, President Obama, “it is not achievable” !

The awkwardness continues as Susan Rice says:  (more…)
