Today we are hearing how Republicans and Conservatives are either the party of racists or that they are racists in general, but history proves a different story. This rhetoric is being pushed by those on the left and is being used as a tool to divide people. The real history is no longer taught to our children and so many adults have fallen prey to this rhetoric without actually doing the research to see if it is actually true.
If you look though the history books that are presented to our children. If you listen to politicians and pundits. If you talk to your neighbors or friends. Most, would not even believe many facts of the lost history in the Civil Rights Movement. This is a travesty of truth, and the people that have been most afflicted by this have been the African American community for not really understanding the truth about the Democrat Party and how they have buried the truth about their past.
Were you aware that even under FDR’s “New Deal” program that was to benefit lower income segments of the population, African Americans were still segregated in Soup Lines and Bread Lines?

SOUTH HUNTINGTON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – Two Long Island high school students have been suspended for allegedly bringing a Confederate flag to school.
Brother Gary Cregan, principal of St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, said the two seniors walked in with a Confederate flag draped around their shoulders during an after-hours sporting event at the school.
As CBS 2′s Kathryn Brown reported, there is outrage and disgust on Long Island.

“The African-American students who immediately saw it really exercised heroic restraint and fortunately a teacher immediately confiscated the flag and took the students out of the gym,” Cregan said.

Treeper Update: Small update from the ground, federal guys don’t much like being filmed according to the ranchers, they were told if they didn’t stop filming they’d be arrested. They resisted, more showed up and the feds backed off. Another group of folks showed up and ran a few feds off.
Rancher friends are also disgusted with how they’re running the cattle to death and say most of them won’t live to be rounded up. Ranchers were also told to get back to the 1st amendment zone, ranchers told them they carry their 1st amendment with them and pulled out the constitution. lol
Not sure how many people have showed up as they keep coming in batches, but a lot of Nevadans and a lot of Americans from across the country.  (facebook link)

“I have had people ask me to explain my dad’s stance on this BLM fight. Here it is in as simple of terms as I can explain it. There is so much to it, but here it s in a nut shell.
My great grandpa bought the rights to the Bunkerville allotment back in 1887 around there. Then he sold them to my grandpa who then turned them over to my dad in 1972. These men bought and paid for their rights to the range and also built waters, fences and roads to assure the survival of their cattle, all with their own money, not with tax dollars.
The rights to the land use are called preemptive rights. Some where down the line, to keep the cows from over grazing, came the Bureau of Land Management. They were supposed to assist the ranchers in the management of their ranges while the ranchers paid a yearly allotment which was to be use to pay the BLM wages and to help with repairs and improvements of the ranches. The official narrative, of course, is that “violence”, and especially “gun violence” is the provence of  “Angry White Male Conservative Christians”.  This is a meme the Prog-enthralled media repeat over and over again. Wash, lather, rinse, repeat.

History is replete with the failures of man, it highlights his cruelty, his desires, and often reveals his true nature no matter what social or moral standards have been established.
In 1895 the English author H. G. Wells laid out the exact template for how The United States would be overtaken by a brutal enemy that is completely malicious and incapable of mercy. Decades later in 1938 the Columbia Broadcasting System radio network, directed and narrated by actor and filmmaker Orson Welles, put that sordid template into action.
While I don’t know if H. G. or Orson were communists, nor do I care, the template and plan of attack is the focus not their personal philosophies. With only the spoken and written word both convinced a nation that is was being overtaken by a foreign invader that sought their complete subjugation. The same holds true today, but it’s done in soundbites, and digital form with far greater speed and reach.

Weekly Standard – On the eve of the Netanyahu visit to Washington, President Obama gave a lengthy interview to Jeffrey Goldberg that shows a chief executive who has learned next to nothing about the world in his five years in office.

First, kudos to Goldberg: he pressed Obama repeatedly, challenging vague formulations and seeking clarity. Goldberg pushed Obama hard, especially on Iran and Syria.

Obama isn’t good off the cuff, especially when challenged; he is far better with a prepared speech. And what emerged is an awful portrait of the president and his conception of the world.

The truly Great Communicator, Ronald Reagan knew that summits with Gorbachev were the one way he could directly telegraph a message to the walled-off Soviet public. After all, even Soviet TV was obliged to cover these events.

The partners’ first handshake took place outside a 120-year-old Geneva chateau. Reagan arrived first and burst out the door, bounding down the steps without his coat on a cold day, as Gorbachev’s limo pulled up. Gorbachev, bundled in a gray overcoat, looking very much like the guest, was greeted by a dapper Reagan, 20 years his senior.

To top it off, Reagan put his arm under Gorbachev’s, as if he were aiding him up the stairs. All this was captured live on Soviet TV, and it was the first step in reshaping the view of Reagan in the eyes of the Soviet public.

In the U.S., Reagan’s talk of the sinister nature of Communism was often dismissed as the rhetoric of a right-wing ideologue. In Moscow, policymakers believed he meant business. The Communist Party newspapers (of course, back then all of them were party newspapers) whipped themselves into a frenzy with invective about the 40th U.S. President.

He was portrayed as a wild “cowboy,” a “shameless liar,” and “a rabid militarist” who employed the “slogans and methods of Hitler.” Cartoons depicted him waving a Stetson as he gleefully sat atop a ballistic missile. Traditionally, the U.S. military has always enjoyed high approval ratings from the American public at large – they support the military in funding; in its non-combat humanitarian missions as diplomatic outreach (such as the US Navy Hospital Ships, USNS Comfort and USNS Mercy); and are, for the most part, proud of the work that the US military does in defending freedom and the highest ideals of “America” –

individual liberty, peace, free trade, domestic stability among the many hallmarks of the “shining city on the hill”.  In very few other countries, do so many citizens have direct experience – having served, themselves – or a first degree relative connection to someone who has served in the armed forces. In a little less than 11 days, on March 1, the Iditarod race will begin.  The Iditarod is an exciting dog-sled race from Anchorage to Nome – a total distance of 975 miles.  It is exciting even in our modern, perhaps jaded, view, but the story behind this race is historic.

Alaska in winter can be a treacherous place.  The modern race is as safe as it can be made, with regular checkpoints, where supplies have been pre-placed, and mushers and their dogs can rest along the way.

The original “Iditarod” was another matter, indeed.
