‘People’ Will Die’ and Other Epic Meltdowns Erupting After Musk Twitter Suspends Journalist Accounts for Doxing and Violations of Terms of Service

There is a historic irony surrounding today as the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party (December 16, 1773) and Elon Musk suspending the accounts of multiple journalists who violated the Twitter terms of service about publicly releasing private information without consent. To say the ‘splodey heads are epic, would be an understatement.

After several ‘mainstream’ journalists began spreading the physical location of Elon Musk, his airplane travel and his family location, Twitter began suspending all accounts that were affiliated with promoting the activity. Several high follower journalists were -by their own expressed conduct- caught up in the account suspensions, some permanently, and the resulting outrage over their claimed curtailment of speech has exploded the universal hypocrisy continuum.

Demands for reinstatement by allies of the suspended accounts stretch from threats to “haul Musk before congress,” to foreign government demands. While demanding to see the manager, CNN’s Oliver Darcy contends that Twitter cannot exist without the journalists Mr. Musk has now removed.

White knuckled fists are clutching pearls tightly.

New York – […] Speaking with anchor Jim Sciutto about several journalists, including CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan, having been suspended under Elon Musk‘s newly minted policy about posting real-time location info, Darcy made clear that Musk is playing with fire and could get burned.

“This is raising a number of issues,” said Darcy. “Obviously it highlights how Musk doesn’t really have that commitment to free speech that he said he does. But it also raises questions about what the future of the press looks like on Twitter.” (more)

Apparently, the world will not exist without journalists being able to push their narrative engineering efforts through the social media platform.

Putting Mr. Musk’s ultimate long-term motives in a box over in the corner of the room just so that we can enjoy this moment, the billionaire space entrepreneur will never exceed today’s creation of smiles regardless of his electric cars or the eventual goal of a human population on the Martian landscape.

President Trump Announces Plan to Protect Free Speech and Digital Bill of Rights

This afternoon President Donald Trump released a video outlining a campaign platform position around free speech. {Direct Rumble Link}

Referencing the latest revelations about various political groups, campaigns and government agencies instructing social media platforms on the removal of content, President Trump notes his position would be to dismantle the government systems that facilitate the censorship.   President Trump notes he would sign an executive order banning any federal agency from censoring or limiting the free speech of American citizens.

Additionally, President Trump noted he would ban federal money from being used to label domestic speech as misinformation or disinformation, along with firing any bureaucrat who has previously engaged in the domestic censorship, directly or indirectly, including within all agencies of the DHS, FBI or DOJ who have targeted the free speech rights of Americans.  WATCH:

.

Among other initiatives, President Trump called for the federal government to break ties with any nonprofits and academic programs that are aimed at tacking mis- and disinformation.

“If any U.S. university is discovered to have engaged in censorship activities or election interferences in the past, such as flagging social media content for removal of blacklisting, those universities should lose federal research dollars and federal student loan support for a period of five years, and maybe more,” he said.

Elon Musk Releases Documents Showing U.S. Government Instructed Twitter Platform to Remove Political Content, a Clear First Amendment Violation

Twitter CEO Elon Musk selected Matt Taibbi, one of the rare independent voices in media, as the vessel to review and share a litany of internal documents from within the social media platform showing details of how the federal government and DNC officials gave instructions to Twitter personnel to remove content.

Matt Taibbi released a stream of Twitter Communication showing the documents and details – SEE HERE

Elon Musk followed up the current release with a statement saying, “Twitter acting by itself to suppress free speech is not a 1st amendment violation, but acting under orders from the government to suppress free speech, with no judicial review, is.”

Journalist Matt Taibbi signs off on this release with the following notation, “There is much more to come, including answers to questions about issues like shadow-banning, boosting, follower counts, the fate of various individual accounts, and more. These issues are not limited to the political right.”

If You Have Not Been Taught to Think for Yourself, Then Disinformation is Scary

CTH has encountered criticism for our position on information.  Perhaps it is important to step back and explain exactly why we should not be playing by rules established to control us while engaged in the battle of ideas.  First, my position:

…”There is no such thing as “disinformation” or “misinformation”.  There is only information you accept and information you do not accept.  You were not born with a requirement to believe everything you are told; rather, you were born with a brain that allows you to process the information you receive and make independent decisions.”…

There are only two elements within the public discussion of information, truth and not truth.

In an era filled with “fact-checkers” and institutional guardians at the gates of Big Tech, let me explain exactly why it is important not to accept the speech rules of the guards.

When you accept the terms “disinformation”, “misinformation” or the newest lingo, “malinformation,” you are beginning to categorize truth and lies in various shades.  You are merging black and white, right and wrong, into various shades of grey.

When your mind works in the grey zone, you are, by direct and factual consequence, saying there is a problem.  You are correct; however, this is where people may make a mistake. The problem is supposed to be there.

It is not a solution to the problem to try and remove the grey simply because it takes too much work to separate the white pixels from the black ones.  You were born with a gift, the greatest gift a loving God could provide.  You were born with a brain and set of natural instincts that are tools to do this pixel separation, use them.

If you define the grey work as a problem you cannot solve on your own, you open the door for others to solve that problem for you.  You begin to abdicate the work, and that’s when trouble can enter.

The sliding scale of Pinocchio’s is one of the most familiar yet goofy outcomes.

Thoughtful Monologue, Tucker Carlson Discusses the Potential Impact of a Free Speech Twitter

Tucker Carlson used his opening monologue Friday evening to outline his perspective on the Elon Musk takeover of the social media platform Twitter.   Generally, Carlson does a good job framing the big picture of national events; however, Carlson outdid himself on this contextualized delivery.

While the underlying premise of Carlson’s position is structured on a yet-to-be-seen possibility of free speech, the context for the importance of the moment is very well presented.  I hope that Tucker Carlson is correct in regard to the altruistic intent of Mr. Musk.  Well worth watching:

Twitter Stuff, Reports of Anticipated Turnover of Employees, Combined with Reports of Treasury Dept Considering CFIUS Review

Whenever we begin to evaluate how the U.S. government may respond to Elon Musk buying out Twitter and changing the dynamic behind Jack’s Magic Coffee Shop, it is always worth remembering a key point.  Elon Musk is not in an adversarial relationship with the U.S. government.  Indeed, almost every Musk venture is tied into the matrix of multiple government institutions.

That said, only Elon Musk knows the full intent of his objective to utilize Twitter and his larger aspirations to open information systems to all people (Iran example).

Having listened to a lot of Musk’s explanations for his endeavors, I’ve yet to nail down how his statements mesh with the public-private partnership that forms the baseline of revenue for his various engagements.

The Washington Post is reporting that Musk may RIF (reduction in force) to 75% of Twitter employees.  “Elon Musk told prospective investors in his deal to buy the company that he planned to get rid of nearly 75 percent of Twitter’s 7,500 workers, whittling the company down to a skeleton staff of just over 2,000.” {link}

(WaPo) […] On Thursday evening, Twitter’s top lawyer Sean Edgett sent out a note to all employees saying the company did not have any confirmation from Musk about his plans. Twitter’s own, smaller-scale “cost savings discussions” were put on hold once the merger agreement was signed, Edgett said, according to an email viewed by The Post.

In internal Slack groups, Twitter employees reacted to the news with anger and resignation, supporting each other and making jokes about the turmoil of the past few months, according to people familiar with the conversations.

Dissident Football Coach Fined $100k for Wrong Thoughts

Comrades, a dissident member of the National Football League named Jack Del Rio has been caught publicly expressing wrong thoughts.

The NFL Ministry of Social Justice and NFL Homeland Tolerance and Social Cohesion Agency launched an investigation and assigned a social demerit punishment equal to $100,000 that will be removed from his financial accounts as a warning to others.

(Reuters) – The Washington Commanders said on Friday they fined defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio $100,000 after he minimized last year’s assault on the U.S. Capitol a “dust-up” compared to the 2020 racial justice protests that followed George Floyd’s death. (link)

Comrade Del Rio was made to apologize for his non-compliant thinking and brazen display of verbal violence toward society.  His reeducation began almost immediately.

Washington head coach Ron Rivera said in a statement that he met Del Rio earlier on Friday, “words have consequences and his words hurt a lot of people in our community,” Mr Rivera reiterated.

Good citizens are reminded to keep a lookout for subversive or rebellious activities that could harm the sensibilities of correct thinking citizens.

If you spot any suspicious whispering or unauthorized smiling that might indicate the presence of conversation against the interests of our new society, you are reminded to contact regional FBI authorities immediately.  You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for enhanced social credit deposits in your gasoline equity account.

Elon Musk Says He and Jack Dorsey Agree That President Trump Should be Restored on Twitter, FULL VIDEO

During a Q&A session at the Financial Times Future of the Car summit, a small-minded man of dubious connection to historical truth decided to make inquiries about Elon Musk’s perspective on Twitter.  Specifically, whether the account of Donald Trump should be restored on the platform.

Elon Musk did not equivocate in advocating for the returned voice of Donald Trump; noting that banning speech from a platform does not mean ending that speech, it only drives that speech into another venue.  The decision to perma-ban Donald Trump from Twitter was “morally wrong and flat out stupid.”  WATCH:

Again, Musk did not equivocate, and that is an important element to consider when we evaluate the direction of his intent.  Musk is aware that his position will draw extreme attacks from the moonbat wing of the political spectrum, yet he stands firm in the face of predictable adversity.  I think we can all respect that, even if we disagree with Musk on nuances of his position toward other matters.

Joe Biden Wants Everyone Connected to a Better, More Efficient, Internet System

Comrades, the Ministry of Citizen Privacy cares about your on-line freedoms, accesses and privacy.

Dear Leader cares about your ability to connect efficiently to the government monitoring, surveillance and geolocation tracking services.

(Tweet Thread Link) – (White House LINK)

There is nothing nefarious about the U.S. surveillance state wanting to make surveillance more efficient. Nothing nefarious at all {GO DEEP}.

Do not be discouraged by those extremist voices outlining the benefits to government that are provided by a wider, more inclusive, national broadband internet system; that connects to a more efficient 5G internet system; that permits you to experience a new world of telecommunications benefits tailored to your individual needs.

The new network of all things interconnected will make life far more convenient, perhaps allowing you to eliminate the worry of finding gasoline in rural areas when it becomes scarce.  Our new national networks will help ease your mind as the internet proximity services work seamlessly with your portable transponder unit (cell phone) to facilitate your needs.

The convenience of finding stuff you need; intersecting with voting and data-connections with your social media network; helping the government track you; all of it.  The opportunities are endless my friends.  Smiles, everyone, smiles.
