There hasn’t been any good news for Scott Walker in the past month of polling cycles.
(Via Forbes) Real estate mogul Trump has widened his lead to 20 points in a brand new Zogby Analytics poll taken after the second Republican presidential debate. The new poll of 405 likely Republican primary/caucus voters nationwide with a margin of sampling error of +/- 5.0 percentage points, conducted September 18-19, shows Mr. Trump with 33% (up 2 points from his pre-debate 31%).

In second place is neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson who actually dropped 3 points to 13%. Former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, widely considered to be the big winner in the debate, moved up from just 2% last week to 7% and fourth place in the new poll – just 2 points behind former Florida Governor Jeb Bush’s 9% (which is exactly where he was last week). A National Review article containing what we have been outlining and discussing for several months.  Rules instituted to BLOCK CONSERVATIVES, favor the party apparatus, and create a road map for the GOPe chosen candidate, JEB BUSH.
Allow me a moment to confirm the brutally obvious.

Were it not for Donald Trump – and supporters who are no longer willing to be co-dependents to their own diminishment, finding a pathway to defeat the RNC scheme – the GOPe road map to nominate Jeb would be successful.

Jeb was in Michigan.  On Mackinac Island campaigning with his teammate Carly Fiorina.  Then this happened:

(Via NBC) More than a third of Republican voters say that Carly Fiorina performed best in the Wednesday night debate on CNN. But debate performances don’t translate into vote preference overnight, and Donald Trump maintains his position at the top of the Republican pack, according to the latest NBC News online survey conducted by SurveyMonkey from Wednesday through Friday.

Debates alone rarely move poll numbers in big ways, and Trump continues to lead the crowded field with 29 percent of Republican and independent voters who lean Republican saying they would cast their vote for him.
Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina remain on an upward trajectory, now filling in the second and third spots. Jeb Bush is holding steady at 8%, about the same level of support he’s seen since April in NBC News/SurveyMonkey polling. During that same period, Scott Walker has seen his support shrink from 12% to just 3% in our latest poll. (more…)
