An interesting and unique way to support a candidate has surfaced on a Facebook page “Truckers for Trump“.
“Calling all Trucker Patriots that are Owner/Operators. Trying to get a count of how many of you would be interested in directly helping Donald Trump Win the White House. People who are wondering why Donald Trump might be referencing some historical Clinton issues, might do well to refresh their memory on how vengeful Clinton staffers trashed the White House when Vice-President Al Gore lost to George W Bush in 2000.
When considering how the office of the presidency is regarded by the Clintons, a new generation of voters may not know about Team Clinton: writing vulgar messages on the White House office walls, destroying furniture, slicing chair cushions, ripping phones out of walls, removing the historical door knobs, stealing items, switching around the fax machines, gluing desk drawers closed, carving into desk tops, removing the “w” key from all the computer keyboards, and much worse.

As much as most of us dislike Salem Media lapdog Hugh Hewitt, he finally makes the point that needs to be underlined about Donald Trump -vs- Hillary Clinton when referencing history.
A 2016 voter who was a teen during Bill Clinton’s time in the White House, is now a thirty something voter who might be learning about the history of Clinton scandals for the first time. There is an entire generation of the electorate who might be completely oblivious to how vengeful Hillary Clinton was against Bill’s victims.
In addition, how many people under the age 30 know about Team Clinton destroying the White House when Al Gore lost to George W Bush? (more…)

We are in an era when many people are following politics a little more closely than usual, that’s a good thing. However, for many a paradigm shift is needed:
Modern GOPe presidential politics are not dependent on winning your vote, we are in an era when presidential politics is focused on “winning the office” – there is a big difference. The former is irrelevant when the latter is achieved.
Current political science classes are focused on teaching political theorem through the prism of history, but historical references are less accurate than ever before. The new age of the Atwater/Rove approach is based on using the foundation of ‘Citizens United’ to protect the professional political class.
When you understand the goal of the professional candidate is to achieve the office, and not to necessarily win your vote, we can find increased clarity on campaign behavior.
A vote for a given candidate is valuable. However, when you are inside the professional political class, a non-vote is just as valuable. (more…)

Candidate Donald Trump holds a commanding lead in almost every poll. While the media broadcast public polls, the internal polling actually drives the campaign activity. With that in mind the public polls provide ‘retrospective’ to either support, or undercut, the activity of the campaign itself.

You might have also noted candidate Donald Trump referencing today’s Reuters polling trend in earlier interviews. Apparently that’s because the trend shows the number two and number three candidates have peaked, and now are moving back into low double digits.
Campaign Asterisks all around the country are united in their collective grief. Multiple condolence calls from Jim Gilmore, probably. Washington (AFP) – George Pataki, who was governor of New York during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, told key supporters Tuesday that he is ending his presidential bid, US media reported.
Pataki, a moderate Republican, was running a longshot campaign from the start, and his candidacy failed to take off in a crowded Republican field dominated by the bluster of billionaire Donald Trump and dragged to the conservative right in the primary race. (more…)
