Washington (AFP) – George Pataki, who was governor of New York during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, told key supporters Tuesday that he is ending his presidential bid, US media reported.

Pataki, a moderate Republican, was running a longshot campaign from the start, and his candidacy failed to take off in a crowded Republican field dominated by the bluster of billionaire Donald Trump and dragged to the conservative right in the primary race. (more…)

On the way to Iowa Candidate Donald Trump held a press conference aboard his private Boeing 747 airplane as he transported members of the following press corps.

The “optics” are brilliant as candidate Trump projects the image of President Trump, Air Force One, and the traveling press corps.  Brilliant !  Big Smarts…. Big Smarts.

In an opportunity for a compare and contrast, both Donald Trump and Jeb Bush have events scheduled today.  Trump in Council Bluffs Iowa, Jeb Bush in Peterborough New Hampshire.

It seems like such a long time ago, in the spring of 2014, when we first identified the fingerprints of the GOPe road map which eventually led to the GOPe “Splitter Strategy“.  However, one variable remains as critical today as it was almost two years ago, FLORIDA.

Back in 2014 the most important tripwire we set, was to watch what the GOPe in Florida did with their delegates.  Our hunch was the national RNC power-structure would coordinate with the state-level republican party and present a mid-March “winner-take-all” delegate distribution to benefit the low-polling, low-turnout, low-vote goal of Jeb Bush.

Florida would thereby be the Fulcrum for the Jeb Bush road-map.  If Team Jeb could fracture the non-Jeb vote enough, the approximately 20% pro-Jeb vote would be all that was needed to capture the full 99 delegates.   The road map then picks up speed and it’s all downhill to the convention for Jeb’s anointment. A poll conducted by Clout Research for World Net Daily (full pdf below) shows candidate Donald Trump with a commanding lead amid all major demographics.  The poll also contains a small sample of Democrats (19), Independents (61), as well as Republican (365) voters.

It should be noted that generally speaking, when considering content coverage, WND has a favorable lean toward Senator Ted Cruz.  The result below is from the Republican respondents:

A review of the poll internals show Donald Trump leading with all religious affiliations. In addition Trump leads all ideologies except “strongly conservative” (far right) which favor Ted Cruz.  Hence, more statistical affirmation of what most already accept:  Donald Trump, like Ronald Reagan, is a center-right candidate.

By now almost everyone has acknowledged that Donald Trump has ripped the masks from most of the modern professional punditry who espoused to be conservatives yet showed their hidden ideological colors as elite globalists.

Most notably this was evidenced in June as millions of Fox News viewers saw FOX’s entire line-up of professional pundits proclaim borders shouldn’t matter; border walls won’t work; illegal alien amnesty was the only viable solution to decades of unenforced immigration law; and, heck, this was only in week #1 of Donald Trump’s campaign.

Since June ’15, on almost every issue those same pundits have now openly aligned themselves with GOPe agenda items like global trade, tax policy, big government spending, and advocacy to including advancement of Speaker Paul ‘Omnibus’ Ryan.

However, a sharp reader, DrudgeAddict, smartly points out these same voices were the exact group who gathered together in an exclusive meeting with President Obama in 2009 to sing his praises after the ’08 election. Including : (more…)

In 2012 we called it the “Post-It Campaign” – a simple insurgent campaign designed to let American members of the political rebel alliance know they are not alone.

The most important aspect to any insurgent uprising is for those amid the ordinary population to know they are not alone, they are not isolated, there is more of us than them…  Morale is just as important as achievement.
