Several recent articles are spotlighting a ridiculous transparency in the way the U.S. media is covering the 2016 Presidential Election.

The New York Post has one such outline titled “American Journalism Collapsing Before Our Eyes“:

[…]  The shameful display of naked partisanship by the elite media is unlike anything seen in modern America. 

The largest broadcast networks — CBS, NBC and ABC — and major newspapers like The New York Times and Washington Post have jettisoned all pretense of fair play. Their fierce determination to keep Trump out of the Oval Office has no precedent.

Following a Hispanic outreach meeting by the Trump campaign numerous media outlets began reporting that Donald Trump was changing his position on immigration, specifically deportation of illegal immigrants. The Trump campaign immediately rebuked the false media reports last night.

Senator Jeff Sessions appeared on Fox News this morning to continue asserting the campaign message that illegal border crossing will be halted, deportation of illegal aliens will be enforced and there is no substantive change to Donald Trump’s immigration position.

The media loves to use the term “deportation force” to manufacture an narrative of a new controversy.  However, there is already a federal agency called ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) who routinely arrest and deport illegal aliens.  Despite the media protestations to the contrary ‘deportation is not a new concept’, we have been deporting people for decades.

Last month we shared a warning to ignore the predictable post convention media polling nonsense.  That warning remains valid today.

Just because the media is predictably beginning to sell poll stats beneficial to Donald Trump doesn’t mean they are any less manipulated.

On June 15th aggregate media polling had Hillary Clinton leading by 15 points.  On July 15th the same media polling had Trump +17.  On August 8th the pendulum swing was back to Hillary +15,…. and now today the media signals of a tied race begin.

It’s all nonsense.  All of it.  Polls don’t swing 20 to 30 +/- points every few weeks.

The media outlets conducting these polls have the same bias in their statistical representation as they publish in their daily event articles.   (more…)

People began lining up 8 hours ago for a Donald Trump rally in Fredericksburg, VA at the Fredericksburg Expo Center.  The rally is scheduled to begin at 6:00pm EDT.

The civility of the leftist Clinton mob takes center stage again as violent protesters scream, shout, harass and turn violent at a Donald Trump Minnesota fundraiser.

People attending the Trump fundraising event were beaten, mauled and spit upon according to the Star Tribune.

The Minneapolis mob was very similar to the previous mob in San Jose; and in a similar fashion the media reports attempt to downplay the violence and avoid pointing out the political affiliation of the mob: (more…)

According to several media reports Hillary Clinton has promised to stop taking foreign donations to her Clinton Foundation, ie. bribes, if she wins the presidency.

How very magnanimous of her…

NEW YORK, Aug. 19 (UPI) — The Clinton Foundation will stop accepting all foreign donations and former President Bill Clinton will step down from running the charitable organization if Hillary Clinton wins the presidency, the group said. (link)

Leading some to wonder why she never took the same approach while she was acting as Secretary of State for the U.S.?  Then again, even this announcement is fraught with Clintonian parseltongue.   – SEE HERE for EXAMPLES –

Those who do not accurately present historical context are doomed to misinterpret political shifts. With the recent enhancements to Donald Trump’s campaign team there’s a great deal of erroneous reporting and various opinion articles that are disconnected from historical accuracy.

The addition of Kellyanne Conway (campaign manager) and Steve Bannon (campaign CEO) to the Trump campaign caught many people off guard, CTH included.  The connective tissue between Bannon and Conway is billionaire Robert Mercer, and to a slightly lesser extent his daughter Rebekah.

Mercer purchased an $11 million stake in Breitbart Media, essentially becoming the financial backbone for the enterprise.  Mr. Mercer also took out a large stake in Cambridge Analytica, a data firm.  Cambridge Analytica set up a Presidential Preference poll on the Breitbart website to gather the information of visitors and political followers.

Steve Bannon is Chairman of the Breitbart Media group, and as such he was responsible for managing the intent of Mercer’s investment.  To facilitate this objective Breitbart Media took on the role of promoting Pro-Cruz media almost exclusively. (more…)
