Folks, let me be the first on record associated with this Treehouse. THIS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO STAND. We will lead an effort to push back against this ridiculous “UNCONSTITUTIONAL” mandate being put forth by the Holder/Perez Dept. of Justice.

People ask me all the time about the Community Relations Service;  Most have never heard of it.   The CRS is the super-secret and federally protected stealth sect within the DOJ Civil Rights Division.   When I explain the depth of the broad power granted to the CRS – people look at me cross eyed with a stare that says – “no way”!  My response? Yes, way.

Many people cannot wrap their mind around what they hear, it just doesn’t reconcile with everything they have ever thought about freedom.  Even more refuse to consider what is presented to them.  Just like many fine folks in the Treehouse who cannot grasp that there exists a Federal Entity which can, without explanation, force a judge to make a decision or ruling in a way the CRS dictates. It just strikes as unbelievably UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

So this factual example about how the Federal DOJ going to arrest and/or prosecute anyone who defames Islam is aimed more toward those people who refuse to accept the information about the scope of the CRS power: (more…)

“Rabbit-faced Baby has 10″ Ears, Buck Toothed Mom Chewed Carrots While Pregnant”

Might sound like an odd headline, perhaps one that makes media diminishment so easy.   But that actual headline was from the same news outlet who broke the story of John Edwards actually having a love child from a long time extramarital affair with a mistress who worked on his campaign – and whom he covered up living with, while using campaign donations and finances, and all while running a Presidential campaign.

The point?  You never know who is going to discover any individual truth;  And the truth doesn’t care about the constitution of who finds it, any more than it cares about the feelings or sensibilities of those who would be affected by its existence.  It just is. (more…)

The Associated Press, The New York Times, Reuters, CNN, FOX, NBC, The Huffington Post and more, are refusing the “off record” reach out by Eric Holder to justify his personal approval of  targeting the media by the Dept. Of Justice.  He wants a meeting to explain his secret investigation(s) of the media, but he only wants to conduct the meeting “off the record”, in secret, away from public scrutiny.

I guess there’s only so much water the Administration’s lapdogs can actually carry.  Who knew?

Washington (CNN) – Attorney General Eric Holder’s plans to sit down with media representatives to discuss guidelines for handling investigations into leaks to the news media have run into trouble.

The Associated Press issued a statement Wednesday objecting to plans for the meetings to be off the record. “If it is not on the record, AP will not attend and instead will offer our views on how the regulations should be updated in an open letter,” said Erin Madigan White, the AP’s media relations manager.

The New York Times is taking the same position. “It isn’t appropriate for us to attend an off-the-record meeting with the attorney general,” executive editor Jill Abramson said in a statement. (more…)

Hey, ya gotta give em’ props for honesty.  The Syrian “rebels” admit they are al-Qaeda, and the folks that met John McCain were only pitchmen – not commanders, and not representative of the real ideology behind uprising.

FACT:  Eric Holder approved and affirmed a phone records subpoena claiming Fox News journalist, James Rosen, was an unindicted co-conspirator to domestic terrorism charges.  He then went judge shopping to get the subpoenas validated;  two judges said NO, the 3rd agreed to approve.   Holder said after reading about it in the Washington Post he regrets doing it.  

However, prior to that coming out,  on May 15th Holder went before congress and said:

“with regard to potential prosecution of the press for disclosure of material, that is not something that I have ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be a wise policy.”

A flat out lie.  No if’s, and’s, or but’s about it.   He was “involved in”;  He had “heard of”; and he did “think it was a wise policy”;  After all, he approved it.

But according to the White House, Holder was being truthful. (more…)

Trayvon was 17, smoked dope, sold drugs, drank “lean” drug cocktail with frequency, burglarized homes, video’s himself and peeps beating homeless guy, bought sold guns, participated in organized MMA street fights, kicked out of school three times, kicked out of his Mom’s house, no parental supervision, and put on bus – sent to Sanford FL with a rolled up baggie of marijuana stuffed between his butt cheeks.

Now that he’s been shot and killed, his family attorney, Benjamin Crump, says shooter trial is “the civil rights case of the century” – while playing the “race-card” 24/7……

Well it appears we now have TWO people in the media asking the “right” question.  Last week Chris Wallace, now Charles Krauthammer:

“I think there is a bigger story here that will in time come out. The biggest scandal of all, the biggest question is what was the president doing in those eight hours. He had a routine meeting at five o’clock. He never after during the eight hours when our guys have their lives in danger, he never called the Secretary of Defense, he never calls the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, he never called the CIA Director, Who does he call? But five hours in he calls the Secretary of State. And after the phone call she releases a statement essentially about the video and how we denounce any intolerance. It looks as if the only phone call is to construct a cover story at a time when the last two Americans who died were still alive and fighting for their lives. Hazmat crews are on the scene of a CSX cargo train derailment near Baltimore, Maryland, just outside of the nation’s capital.  Witnesses reported an explosion and several buildings in the immediate area collapsed.

BALTIMORE — One person was injured in a train derailment and explosion in Baltimore  County that sparked a fire, sent shock waves throughout the region and caused  precautionary evacuations.

Baltimore County fire  officials said a CSX train derailed in the area of the 7500 block of Lake Drive  near 66th Street in Rosedale at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday after it collided with a  truck. (more…)
