Obamacare's Website Is Crashing Because It Doesn't Want You To Know How Costly Its Plans Are… (Video Included)

We knew sooner or later someone in the media would pick up on this.  It appears Forbes is the first large media outlet to share what we have outlined for the past two weeks.

Federal officials considered only one firm to design the Obamacare health insurance exchange website that has performed abysmally since its Oct. 1 debut. The HHS website issues/flaws stem from the structural design to keep users from recognizing their cost.

Forbes Magazine – A growing consensus of IT experts, outside and inside the government, have figured out a principal reason why the website for Obamacare’s federally-sponsored insurance exchange is crashing. Healthcare.gov forces you to create an account and enter detailed personal information before you can start shopping. This, in turn, creates a massive traffic bottleneck, as the government verifies your information and decides whether or not you’re eligible for subsidies. HHS bureaucrats knew this would make the website run more slowly. But they were more afraid that letting people see the underlying cost of Obamacare’s insurance plans would scare people away.

HHS didn’t want users to see Obamacare’s true costs – “Healthcare.gov was initially going to include an option to browse before registering,” report Christopher Weaver and Louise Radnofsky in the Wall Street Journal. (more…)

Hyper-Partisan President Obama Violates Hatch Act To Attack Political Opponents With Government/DoD Mass E-Mail Communication

The American Spectator has in its possession a construct of an e-mail sent by President Obama and DoD Secretary Hagle to all military members attacking Republican opposition to his agenda and the Government Shutdown.  A clear violation of the Hatch Act.

“Military and civilian employees of the federal government are absolutely prohibited from using government supplies, equipment, communication systems and facilities in any political activity.”   (DoD Memo)

King of the DemoncratsThe American Spectator has been provided with the text of a political message sent on Saturday evening, using Department of Defense communications systems, on behalf of President Obama and Secretary of Defense Hagel.
It is addressed to “all US government employees” and further specified by the DoD sender to go to “all subordinate commands,” in compliance with Hagel’s call for “the widest possible distribution.”
The message contains standard presidential lauding of public service, but goes on to attack the current government shutdown by specifically castigating the House of Representatives, saying that the House — which is unsubtle code for Republicans — should “follow the Senate’s lead…without trying to attach…partisan measures in the process.” (more…)

The Left's Cult Of Fear – Why They Must Build Walls….

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed – and hence clamorous to be led to safety – by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”…..H.L. Mencken

fearWhat if you turned on the television and suddenly there were no more countdown clocks….no more talking heads discussing doomsday scenarios predicting a crippling government default?  How many of us can even remember looking forward to being entertained and informed when we sat down after a hard day’s work?
I came to a sudden realization this past weekend as I watched countless numbers of veterans take back their monuments in D.C.   Veterans who stormed beaches, fought in jungles, and endured desert heat thought nothing of a few hastily erected “Barry-cades”.  Many of these veterans, most now in their nineties, weren’t going to be stopped by Obama any more than they were by countless other autocrats.   I’m going to take a lesson from them….and stop being told what I have to fear.

Obamacare "Settled Law"? NBC's David Gregory Used The Primary Talking Point Again Yesterday….

Every time we see the media lie and hide behind this talking point…:

‘Obamacare is a law passed by congress, signed by the president, and upheld by the Supreme Court’.

….we will highlight the falsehood and update with recent events.

This week NBC’s David Gregory used it in an interview of Senators’ Dick Durbin-(D) and Rob Portman-(R):

Let me just raise this issue about ObamaCare, because I want to come back to that. One of the issues is that for conservatives, this has been such a huge issue, even though the law’s been passed and upheld by the court, they still argue, “No, there’s a basis to really try to make it better, to replace it, to get rid of it.” – David Gregory on Meet The Press

The Technocracy Scheme Behind Obamacare Will Eventually Surface… We're Just Getting The First Spider Sense Peeks Right Now…

Many websites are discussing, and many news articles have been written about, the Obamacare HHS website being filled with glitches.   Most, if not all, are written to point out the ineptitude of an administration who couldn’t get the construct of the sign-up website done right; and to poke fun of the incompetence.
However, THAT AIN’T US.

Technocracy is a form of government in which engineers, scientists, health professionals and other technical experts are in control of decision making in their respective fields. The term technocracy derives from the Greek words tekhne meaning skill and kratos meaning power, as in government, or rule. Thus the term technocracy denotes a system of government where those who have knowledge, expertise or skills compose the governing body. In a technocracy decision makers would be selected based upon how highly knowledgeable they are, rather than how much political capital they hold.

We are going to try this outline and stay out of the weeds……  The most techno-savvy, new age, Hopey Changey, iMac Obama empire; filled with Axelrod/Plouffe dynamic constructionists of web-based election campaigning; who know how to use micro-targeting of social media and on-line cyber marketing better than Google and Microsoft insiders – Don’t make such mistakes, unintentionally.
The cyber “glitches” the media find themselves puzzled by are not mistakes.   There is an intent and a purpose behind systemic flaws that stop people from recognizing their immediate costs when signing up to the National Healthcare Registry.
The next few crumbs in the bread trail to understanding surfaces today. (more…)

Guest Post – Trayvon’s Foundation: Following the Paper Trail (By Big Jim)

Trayvon’s Foundation:  Following the Paper Trail

(A Guest Post By Treeper: Big Jim)

Not long after George Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon Martin in self-defense, Trayvon’s family created a charitable, tax-exempt organization, the Justice for Trayvon Martin Foundation, Inc.
Sybrina soupGiven the volume of smaller donations that have been generated during the public appearances of Trayvon’s parents, and that some larger organizational donations have been received by the Foundation, I wanted to find out how much money had flowed into and out of the Foundation.
In order to find the money I needed to follow the paper trail, and as you will see below, in following the paper trail I ran into a few surprises.
For a tax-exempt organization the paper trail starts with its incorporation.  In order for an organization to have tax-exempt status (a “501(c)(3)” organization) it must comply with Internal Revenue Service regulations. (more…)

"A Republic, If You Can Keep It"…. Must Watch Video From Independence Hall – (Just two days ago) – Liberty? Freedom? Profoundly Reflective Irony Of A Petulent Modern Left-Wing President….

Before you watch the video you must remember the significance of its venue.

The deliberations of the Constitutional Convention of 1787 were held in strict secrecy. Consequently, anxious citizens gathered outside Independence Hall when the proceedings ended in order to learn what had been produced behind closed doors. The answer was provided immediately.
A Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?”
With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, “A republic, if you can keep it.”

…. “if you can keep it”

Now watch this video from a few days ago at Independence Hall:

Battlecrap – The Stuff *They* Don't Want You To Remember,… Or Refer Back To….

The leftist usurpers and their willfully blind media cohorts, love to bring up the insufferable talking point(s) about Obamacare being the law of the land.  Passed by Congress, signed by the President, and upheld by The Supreme Court;  as if this baseline is the principle behind their “get over it” talking point.
You will see this set of talking points in essentially every argument against the current popular demand to defund, delay or otherwise modify Obamacare.
Pelosi Gavel
So what I want to do here is focus on that “principle”, and just remind everyone of some simple facts about how this “law” came to be in the first place;  and, perhaps, give some assistance when you are pushing back against the manipulation of the discussion.
First, Obamacare was not passed as a regular legislative construct.   Not.Even.Close.
Most of you will easily remember exactly how it came to be.   In the Fall of 2009, as the National Healthcare was being debated, an awakened electorate began to recognize just how horrid the concept being sold actually was.
We witnessed day after day, after day, of Democrat special interest groups (unions) constructing the concept of our healthcare.   As each day passed, opposition grew.
Subsequently, Harry Reid needed to keep all the Senators away from their constituents so they did not hear the voice of the people.  Unlike the House Dems, who were flogged at numerous town halls,  Reid “sequestered” the entire Senate and kept them in session over the holiday break of 2009.   He would not allow them to pause, return home, and then resume debate and construct in January. BREAKING: House Votes 425-0 to Restore Death Gratuity Payments To Fallen U.S. Soldier Families…

This is an update to this previous outline.   The House has voted to resume payments to the families of fallen soldiers.  However, the funding was never stopped in the first place.  The emergency death benefit was included in the original “Pay Our Military Act”; and it was affirmed as such by Rep. Howard P. “Buck” McKeon (R-CA) Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee.
Someone, within the administration,  interpreted used the opportunity to cut off the death benefit to prove a political point.   Now, in essence, congress voting specifically to fund something they had previously funded.  Why?  To save “someone’s” face.   Grrrr.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzsoldierserWASHINGTON DC – The House voted unanimously on Wednesday to restore the financial payments the Department of Defense makes to the families of fallen U.S. soldiers.
Members easily passed the bill after the Pentagon said it can no longer make the payments because of the government shutdown. The Honoring the Families of Fallen Soldiers Act, H.J.Res. 91, was approved in a 425-0 vote.
The bipartisan bill was quickly developed and rushed to the floor this week after the Pentagon said it could no longer make “death gratuity” payments to families after October 1 because of the government shutdown. (more…)
