A law enforcement official, who was briefed at LAX on the investigation but not authorized to speak publicly, said the gunman was wearing fatigues and carrying a bag containing a hand-written note that said he “wanted to kill TSA and pigs.” The official requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly. Just now, people, mostly on the left, are slowly awakening to the tentacles of Obamacare.   Just now, people, mostly on the left, are recognizing their leaders have misled and lied to them.    This awakening, recognition and new reality, is what the White House has strategically tried to plan for and coordinate for several years.
The architects began trying to control the scope of the awakening with a political decision to grant a one year tax mandate delay for employers.   This was purely, and politically, designed to avoid the blistering sunlight  directly as a consequence of tens of thousands of employee layoffs, and millions of dropped policies, headed into an election cycle.
The Jarrett/McDonough/Obama/Reid-Pelosi architectural intent continued with a politically constructed website specifically designed to block sunlight from people seeing their new financial reality – Obamacare costs more.  And the objective remains to keep people from recognizing they are going to lose their current healthcare plan and soon their doctor(s).

(VIA CNN)  Senate Democrats voted unanimously three years ago to support the Obamacare rule that is largely responsible for some of the health insurance cancellation letters that are going out.

In September 2010, Senate Republicans brought a resolution to the floor to block implementation of the grandfather rule, warning that it would result in canceled policies and violate President Barack Obama’s promise that people could keep their insurance if they liked it.

“The District of Columbia is an island surrounded by reality. Only in the District of Columbia could you get away with telling the people if you like what you have you can keep it, and then pass regulations six months later that do just the opposite and figure that people are going to ignore it. But common sense is eventually going to prevail in this town and common sense is going to have to prevail on this piece of legislation as well,” Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley said at the time. (more…)

Forget the numbers, they are embarrassingly shameful all alone – but that’s not the real story…. that story about how low the number is can be subject to  spin…. as you’ll see in the next 18 blistering hours.   The administration will claim this does not include phone sign-ups or mailed in applications etc.

No, instead focus on the real story.   This CMS Obamacare enrollment report proves it is possible for the administration to answer the question.    This report proves THEY KNOW each day how many have enrolled…. yet they have claimed they do not know.   THAT is the bigger story.

WASHINGTON DC [ Via CBS]  Documents obtained exclusively by CBS News show that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services are intentionally fudging statistics on enrollment and application through state and federal exchanges.

WASHINGTON DC – The Internal Revenue Service shared highly confidential tax information of several Tea Party groups in the IRS scandal with the Federal Election Commission, a clear violation of federal law, according to newly obtained emails.
The public watchdog group Judicial Watch told Secrets Thursday that it was former scandal boss Lois Lerner who shared the information on groups including the American Future Fund and the American Issues Project.
The emails obtained by Judicial Watch show that the IRS, which was considering the tax status of the groups, gave the FEC the tax returns of the groups, including income, expenditures and staff pay. The emails also revealed the exact working of the prying political questions the IRS wanted the groups to reveal, such as their goals and the requests for brochures and ads. (more…)

MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts –  Is there an intellectual dishonesty that’s happening here from Republicans who are not willing to admit that the shame should really be on private insurance companies who have been selling junk policies to these millions of Americans that don’t meet, now, the ACA’s federal standard of health care that people should have in this country?
That basically, there are millions of Americans that have been one disaster — that they can’t even comprehend — away from going into bankruptcy because of the fact that they have had a junk policy that has given them a falsity of safety?

Pay attention to what she is quoted saying:

 ….“No matter what people say about whether they like their plan or not, their plan was not going to be their plan, everybody’s premiums were going up.”…

Again, can you see the design?   The regulations were written by HHS on behalf of Obama to force any insurance carrier who increased premiums by $5 to comply with the Obamacare mandates in coverage.    Pelosi is saying “they knew everybody’s premiums were going to go up”.. that is why they built in that specific trigger for cancellation.
WASHINGTON DC – Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) pushed back hard Wednesday against those hammering ObamaCare for forcing some patients out of their current insurance plans.
The House minority leader said the number of patients who will have to change plans under the law is small, and they will ultimately benefit by moving into new plans with better coverage.
“While you might like your old plan, what you’re going to get under the new plan is that [it does] not discriminate on the basis of pre-existing conditions, does not deny you a key benefit like … maternal, mental health or prescription drug coverage and cannot drop you when you are sick,” Pelosi said during a press conference in the Capitol. For the previous 11 months in fiscal year 2013 (October 2012 through August 2013) The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) spent $1.036 trillion dollars.

This is the third consecutive year where CMS spent over $1 trillion. 2010 2011 2012
That is more spent on one program (CMS), inside one agency (HHS), than the entire budget of the entire government when Medicare and Medicaid were enacted into law in 1965.

Major outlays by CMS in the first eleven months of fiscal 2013, according to the Monthly Treasury Statement for August, included $244.083 billion in grants to states for Medicaid, $251.265 billion in benefit payments out of the Federal Hospital Insurance Trust Fund, $230.241 billion in benefit payments from the Federal Supplementary Medical Insurance Trust Fund, and $61.452 billion in benefits for the Medicare Prescription Drug program.

Other than the obvious non-sustainability – why does this matter?
Today the White House sends out the following “tweet” bragging about Oregon.   Oregon had around 600,000 people uninsured. (more…)

CONTEXT FIRST – Tomorrow HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is set to testify before congress.   For those of you who are unfamiliar with how congressional hearings work there is a rule of bi-partisan discovery where Dem’s must share information to be used during the hearing with Republicans, and vice-versa.
This is done so that no-one is caught off guard with anything that takes place in the hearings.   It’s somewhat of a ruse (under the excuse of professional courtesy) that few people know about.  Congressional hearings are investigative only to the extent the questions being asked are not known by the opposing party.  However, each knows what documents and evidence the other has walking in.
Why is that pertinent?   Simply because when you see the media do these pre-hearing exclusive/confidential document stories you know the source of the leaked intel is the party seeking to diminish the impact.  It’s just how they roll.    The Dem’s gave this CGI report to CNN so that CNN could write up a story and remove the *shock value* in advance of the hearing.
Washington (CNN) – The Obama administration was given stark warnings just one month before that the federal healthcare site was not ready to go live, according to a confidential report obtained by CNN.
The caution, from the main contractor CGI, warned of a number of open risks and issues for the HealthCare.gov web site even as company executives were testifying publicly that the project had achieved key milestones. (more…)

Yesterday NBC published an article outlining why the Obama Administration cannot feign ignorance as millions of Americans have their health insurance policies cancelled due to Obamacare.
What NBC stated is what hundreds of thousands of people already know – Obamacare is forcing millions of Americans to lose their insurance, pay much higher premiums, get higher deductibles, and in general get less coverage for more money.
The White House and Valerie Jarrett went into immediate attack mode to proclaim the premise as false.   They each claimed nothing President Obama or the HHS did created a situation where private insurance polices were/are cancelled.

FACT: Nothing in #Obamacare forces people out of their health plans. No change is required unless insurance companies change existing plans.

So NBC, carrying water for the administration, took down their article and replaced it with another one with a paragraph removed.    But various blogs, including us, caught them.   Backlash ensued.   They were busted – so they replaced the replacement and reinstated the original.
