(Via Weekly Standard) An institute named for the father of possible presidential candidate Rand Paul has published a piece saying the Charlie Hebdo massacre, like 9/11, was a false flag operation. The claim comes in piece titled, “Charlie Hebdo Shootings: False Flag?,” put online today at the Ron Paul Institute:

“The Charlie Hebdo affair has many of the characteristics of a false flag operation. The attack on the cartoonists’ office was a disciplined professional attack of the kind associated with highly trained special forces; yet the suspects who were later corralled and killed seemed bumbling and unprofessional. Sharyl Attkisson has provided some new information on the closed door Benghazi Select Committee hearings and investigative inquiry.

Including the following from Trey Gowdy:

We took a lot of fire -following the Benghazi Brief– when we explained why this would be the case.  The risks of sunlight are essentially equal to both Republicans -who approved the program(s) basic goals via intelligence oversight- and Democrats alike.
Apparently we were correct.

A new batch of emails show how IRS official Lois Lerner intentionally tried to stop inquiry about the IRS Targeting scheme back in April of 2012, and how the IRS was seeking to block congressional inquiry into the activity of the prior two years.
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released a new batch of Internal Revenue Service (IRS) documents, including a series of emails from former IRS official Lois Lerner to then-Tax Exempt and Government Entities (TE/GE) Division Deputy Director Joseph H. Grant strongly objecting to his planned visit to the IRS Cincinnati office “smack dab in the middle” of congressional inquiries into the IRS targeting of conservative groups. The STL County Police are going to release more pictures of the looters every Tuesday. Finally, and interestingly, amid explaining this approach from Saint Louis law enforcement comes the following:

“He said the coming images will include some from Aug. 10, the day after white Ferguson police Officer Darren Wilson shot and killed a black teen, Michael Brown, in a controversial confrontation”…

Because many of us have wondered how difficult it would be to catch this guy:

CLAYTON • Calls from the public identified five looting suspects and provided 15 leads after St. Louis County police released surveillance photos last week from violent protests in the Ferguson area Nov. 24.
So the department released a new batch of pictures Tuesday and plans to publicize more on successive Tuesdays. They may be from protest-related crimes on various dates. (more…)

(VIA ABC NEWS) The FBI has arrested an Ohio man for allegedly plotting an ISIS-inspired attack on the U.S. Capitol, where he hoped to set off a series of bombs aimed at lawmakers, whom he allegedly considered enemies.
Christopher Lee Cornell, 20, of Green Township, was arrested today on charges of attempting to kill a U.S. government official, authorities said.
According to government documents, he allegedly planned to detonate pipe bombs at the national landmark and open fire on any employees and officials fleeing after the explosions. (more…)

WASHINGTON (CNN) — President Barack Obama’s administration admitted it erred by failing to send a higher-ranking representative of the United States to the Paris unity march on Sunday.
He said Obama himself would have liked to attend the march “had the circumstances been a little different.” But planning began Friday night, 36 hours before the event began, and there wasn’t enough time for the “onerous and significant” security work that needed to take place ahead of a presidential visit, Earnest said. He said Obama’s presence also would have meant extra restrictions on the people who were there. (read more)

INDIANA – An Indiana couple was arrested after police found videos of a one-year-old placing a real gun in her mouth, authorities said.
When police in Evansville, Indiana, arrested Michael Barnes last Thursday in connection with an armed robbery, they say they searched his phone and were shocked to find two videos of a toddler putting a gun in her mouth and holding the gun up as if to shoot someone else.
In the videos, a man and a woman can be heard prompting the child, who, in one video is dressed in only a brown onesie, to say “bang” and “shoot.” (more…)

January 12th 2015 is the five year anniversary of the Haiti earthquake.

(Via Washington Times) […] In 2010, Haiti was rocked by a deadly earthquake that claimed the lives of between 200,000 and 300,000 people. In response to the tragedy, the international community pledged an estimated nine billion dollars in foreign aid to help Haiti’s recovery efforts.
However, according to Joseph, much of the pledged cash never made it to Haiti. And the money that did make it to Haiti has mysteriously disappeared.

The story initially began back in March of 2014 when several black Philadelphia politicians were caught in a corruption probe and sting operation. At the time the newly elected Democrat PA Attorney General stepped in and pressured the Philadelphia prosecutor to drop charges; the reasoning was incredulous.

The corruption investigation itself was called racist because only the black politicians accepted the bribes. All politicians were offered bribes, but only the black politicians took the bribes – ergo the new State AG, Kathleen Kane, said the STING was racist. The local Philadelphia media reported on the story, which essentially shamed the Philly DA into filing charges. Last month two of the lawmakers were charged – the Philly lawmakers admitted their guilt.
However, the story gets even more bizarre. The State AG was busted leaking information from the secret Grand Jury in Philadelphia who originally proposed charges against the corrupt Philly politicians. Kathleen Kane was said to have given information about the Grand Jury investigation to The Philadelphia Daily News. This turned investigative attention toward the State Attorney General, Kathleen Kane, who, if proven, would have just committed a very serious crime – for nothing more than political motive. (more…)

Police commissioner, who had been investigating the attack on the Charlie Hebdo magazine, committed suicide with his service gun on Thursday night.

FRANCE – Police commissioner Helric Fredou, who had been investigating the attack on the French weekly satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, committed suicide in his office. The incident occurred in Limoges, the administrative capital of the Limousin region in west-central France, on Thursday night, local media France 3 reports.
Helric Fredou, 45, suffered from depression and experienced burn out. Shortly before committing suicide, he met with the family of a victim of the Charlie Hebdo attack and killed himself preparing the report.
Fredou began his career in 1997 as a police officer at the regional office of the judicial police of Versailles. Later he returned to Limoges, his hometown. Since 2012 he had been the deputy director of the regional police service.
“We are all shocked. Nobody was ready for such developments”, a representative of the local police union told reporters.  (read more)
