As the political elite decide they have some form of unknown authority to force working class U.S. taxpayers to fund the choices of others, a furor starts to build.

In this video excerpt a father confronts Senator Elizabeth Warren over her advocacy to cancel college loan debt for those who made a choice to take out those loans.   Across the American landscape this moment rings as representative of two fundamental outlooks colliding.  I think most readers here would relate to the cold anger of the father who confronts the Senator.  WATCH:

Cold anger does not choose the path of division, it simply responds to it.

There is a great chasm within our nation between to diametrically opposing worldviews.  When one side is forced to pay for the indulgent choices of the other, cold anger turns hot.  It is difficult to contain rage in the face of such sanctimony, yet the abusers are prepared to claim victimhood as soon as we respond to the abuse.

This is the powder-keg that sits underneath the quiet surface of cold anger.

Tucker Carlson used his opening monologue tonight to discuss George Soros and the efforts of the Soros foundation to fund activist state prosecutors who will not enforce laws. The Soros agenda is an end-run around the U.S. constitution that empowers We The People to enact laws and rules of society through legislative representation.

Earlier today Joe Biden held an official ceremony promoting the killing of unborn babies as a legacy initiative of his administration. Biden signed an executive order [View Here] stating that abortion “is essential to justice, equality, and our health, safety, and progress as a Nation.”

(Via Reuters) – […] Biden, [a member of the progressive death cult], has been under pressure from supporters, particularly progressives, to take action after the landmark decision, which upended roughly 50 years of protections for women’s reproductive rights.

The president’s powers are constrained, because U.S. states can make laws restricting abortion and access to medication, and the executive order is expected to have limited impact.

Biden will direct the Health and Human Services Department to take action to protect and expand access to “medication abortion” approved by the Food and Drug Administration, the White House said.

Experts have said a pill used to terminate early pregnancies is unlikely to become available without a prescription for years. States that already restrict the medication would not be affected by the presidential order.

As we gather with family and friends for this Independence Day celebration; as we still hold the memories of how government responded to the COVID-19 pandemic by dispatching liberty; we remind ourselves that freedom is a valuable and precious gift worth fighting for.

There are many current anxieties, frustrations and feelings of despondency as our July 4th, 2022, celebrations take place. However, we would be well served to remember that we alone control our responses to events around us.

We can choose to put aside all of the challenges and issues that seem beyond our control, and we can gather in joyful fellowship with our family and friends to celebrate the reason our forefather’s defeated tyranny.

We Americans come from solid stock.

We carry in our DNA a fortitude of individual identity that is not dependent on government for affirmation or permission.  We are the beneficiaries of those who believed in stubborn independence.  What takes place at your picnic, gathering or assembly of fellowship is your independent choice.

I am reminded of an article written more than two decades ago, that still rings true to this day.

Fox News propagandist Bret Baier continues his devolution into the external appearance of a human Cabbage Patch doll, while intellectually his leftist DNA has won the battle for his frontal cortex.  After delivering a love-fest interview for establishment GOP candidate Karrin Taylor Robinson last week, Baier sharpened the knives for MAGA candidate Kari Lake.

Within the interview [Direct Rumble Link Here} Brett Baier accused Kari Lake of throwing transgender parties at her home and participating in drag queen sex shows.  Mrs. Lake was furious at the outlandish claims by Fox News, and then things got ugly.   WATCH:

The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Joseph Kennedy [Full Ruling Here] saying the Bremerton school district in Washington state was wrong to fire him for praying after football games with players of both teams.  By a vote of 6-3, the justices ruled that Coach Joseph Kennedy’s conduct was protected by the First Amendment.

In 2015, Kennedy had been a part-time football coach at Bremerton High School for seven years. Coach Kennedy would pray at midfield after each game, alone, with players and with players of the opposing team joining him. When the school district learned about Kennedy’s prayers, they told him to stop. Kennedy refused, and despite wide support from parents and the community the district fired him.

Justice Neil Gorsuch delivered the court’s opinion and was joined in full by Chief Justice John Roberts, Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh. Gorsuch explained that the government’s only real justification for its decision to fire Kennedy “rested on a mistaken view that it had a duty to ferret out and suppress religious observances even as it allows comparable secular speech. The Constitution,” Gorsuch concluded, “neither mandates nor tolerates that kind of discrimination.”

ABC News Martha Raddatz confronts South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem about state abortion rules, limits and restrictions in the aftermath of the Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe and returning the legal decision surrounding abortion to the states.

Ms Raddatz is a pro-death advocate who decries any possibility that an unborn child, including an unborn female child, has a right to live.  Ms. Noem handled the combative interrogation with political aplomb.  WATCH:
