(Via Kurt Schlichter)  Liberals have a new word for what normal people call “success.” They call it “privilege,” as if a happy, prosperous life is the result of some magic process related to where your great-great-great-grandfather came from.

It’s the latest leftist argument tactic, which means it is a tactic designed to prevent any argument and to beat you into rhetorical submission.

Conservatives, don’t play their game.

It’s easy to see that this notion that accomplishment comes not from hard work but from some mysterious force, operating out there in the ether, is essential to liberal thought. To excuse the dole-devouring layabouts who form so much of the Democrat voting base, it is critical that they undermine the achievements of those who support themselves. We can’t have the American people thinking that hard work leads to success; people might start asking why liberal constituencies don’t just work harder instead of demanding more money from those who actually produce something. Results are still being tallied, but it looks like a ONCE IN A LIFETIME Thunder shock of devastation to the liberally minded British, and AN UNPRECENTED SET OF VICTORIES for the Conservative British Ukip party.

UPDATE – At 1am, with more than 350 counts declared, UKIP was on 29 per cent, ahead of Labour and the Tories neck-and-neck on 24%.

[…]  Nigel Farage tonight hailed Ukip’s victory in the European elections as the most ‘extraordinary result in British politics for 100 years’.

Support for Ukip has surged by more than 12 per cent, outstripping a more modest boost in votes for Labour, while the Lib Dems faced near-wipeout, with some calling for Nick Clegg to resign.

Mr Farage said he was ‘proud’ of the campaign which has seen him humiliate the Westminster parties, pushing Labour and the Tories into second and third. (read more)

Two things to remember as you read this result.   #1 The daily Mail is (like the New York Times) a liberal outlet;  so when they use the words “extreme” and “radical” they are using them in the same context as the NYT and WaPo describe the Tea Party.

#2)  Marine Le Pen can be conceptualized in the same vein as French version of Sarah Palin.    Strong, commonly attractive, conservative principles embodied in a nationalist (exceptional) outlook.

(Via Daily Mail) The far-right National Front has topped polls in France as countries across Europe turned to extremist and anti-EU parties.

Exit polls suggested the anti-immigrant party led by Marine Le Pen had taken more than a quarter of votes, pushing President Hollande’s Socialist Party into third place with just 13 per cent.

It is the first time that the party – which wants to drastically cut immigration and reduce the influence of Islam – has come first in a nationwide French election in its 40-year history. Projections suggest it could take 25 Euro seats out of 74. (more…)

Unlike the socially hip meme toward the missing/kidnapped Nigerian Schoolgirls, and unlike a black Harvard Professor arrested by police -and quickly defined by the White House as “acting stupidly”-; and unlike a 17-year-old disciplinary diversion student killed in the act of attacking a Hispanic man, the plight of an American citizen’s wife -soon to be hanged merely for being Christian- does not rise to the level of being #hashtag worthy.   Heck, it doesn’t even rise to the level of State Dept. ‘Give-A-Damn’.

The remarkable aspect -beyond the obvious- is actually American Daniel Wani asking the State Department for help and being told to go away.    Maybe he’s the wrong kind of black man; a Christian kind.

(Via Fox News)  An American citizen whose pregnant wife has been sentenced to death in Sudan for refusing to renounce her Christian faith told Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren Friday that his wife is staying strong in her convictions despite her ordeal.

Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, 27, whose Christian husband Daniel Wani holds American citizenship, has been held in a Sudanese prison along with her 20-month old son for more than three months. (more…)

Franklin Graham is the perfect vessel to deliver the brutal truth of Islam.   Authentic Islam is diametrically against, and at war with, Christianity.  PERIOD.   Islam is Islam, there are no varying degrees of radicalism within it;  as Graham says: “it’s just what it is”. 

Authentic Islam is fundamentally divergent from Christianity in all intents, goals and purposes.   The never ending hunt for “moderate Muslims”, to no avail, shows just how silly it is to claim otherwise.  We’re proud to see Franklin Graham confronting perceptions accurately.

(CNS NEWS) Rev. Franklin Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham and head of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, said “Christians are under attack by Islam” and that “radical” Islam has nothing to do with it because “it’s just what it is.”

Speaking at the Watchmen on the Wall National Pastor’s Briefing in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, Rev. Graham said, “The church around the world is under attack. Christians are under attack by Islam. They keep using this word ‘radical.’ It’s not radical, it’s just what it is.” (more…)

Ukip is -for all intents and purposes- the closest ideological comparison to the U.S. Tea Party.   In England, prior to Ukip there were 3 primary parties:

• ¹ Labor – Similar to U.S. Democrats
• ² Tory – Similar to U.S. Republicans
• ³ Lib-Dem – Similar to far left liberal Moonbats

You can see there are essentially two types of British Democrats: Labor and Lib-Dem; with Lib-Dem being the Alan Grayson socialist version.   The two often work together because they have similar vested interests; much like Moonbats, Dems, and blue-dogs here in the U.S.

However, there was only one party for a conservative minded person, the Tory party.    Yet the problem was/is Tory is much like our Republicans;  mostly establishment, and mostly RINO’s.  

As a result of the Tory RINO-ism the “conservative element” within the Tory broke off and began the Ukip party – a 4th Party.   Ukip is now headed by Nigel Farage (you’ve probably seen his awesome U-Tube speeches which are often highlighted on conservative blogs).

The Ukip political party is similar in ideological make-up to the U.S. Tea Party, only they are an actual officially registered political party in England since around 1993. 

Ukip believes in a libertarian perspective on individual freedom; generally seeks a smaller government; and strongly supports nationalism (exceptionalism), low taxes, the abolishment of ‘Death-Tax’, and strong immigration controls. 

In the last several years, in addition to defections from the traditional Tory conservatives, the Ukip party has been attracting massive legions of “independent minded” people who are sick of the consequences they must suffer from due to liberal policies.   Notably mass immigration, and the creation of a social welfare state which is demanding more and more taxation and stifling growth (sound familiar?).

The generally liberal media in England have been portraying Ukip as fracturing the Tory’s, or conservatives.  [Again, sound familiar]  However in reality Ukip is gaining support from both sides; taking votes from Tory and Labor, and even unbelievably Lib-Dems.    (more…)

(Via Huffington Post)  Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis received a hostile greeting in Los Angeles Thursday morning, when life-sized posters depicting her as “Abortion Barbie” began popping up throughout the city ahead of her fundraiser there.

The posters say “Hollywood welcomes Abortion Barbie Wendy Davis,” and they show Davis’ face on a mostly-naked barbie doll with a plastic baby in her belly. Conservative pundit Erick Erickson nicknamed Davis “Abortion Barbie” earlier this year because when she was a state senator, she stood on her feet and spoke for 11 hours straight to filibuster a draconian package of anti-abortion bills. (Via MEMRI)  Muhammad Badi, General Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, made an address to the court on May 18, 2014, rejecting the accusations brought against him and other members of the movement. In footage from the trial posted on the Internet, Badie says: “We have fought only against the Jews… yet now we are being accused of conspiring with Hamas against the Egyptian people. This is an absolute lie.”

(pg 64 Satan on the Attack) […]  Revelation 12:10 speaks of Satan as “the accuser of the brethren”, and Ephesians 6:12 describes the “rulers, the authorities, the powers of the dark world, the spiritual forces of evil present in the heavenly realms.”

Although the warfare as described references the heavens, it is an obvious principle the primary endeavor is to destroy faith in the world.

From Isaiah 13:12-14 the objectives are outlined – though we can assign a collective disposition to current influence: “[they] work to bring the downfall of nations, to corrupt moral standards, and to waste human resources. Corrupting society’s order, [they] want to prevent the attainment of order and to shake the kingdoms of our God”.

Evil, and in a larger sense the influences comfortable with immoral manifest, has great power. They are cunning and clever, having set themselves against God and His people: (more…)
