The Humane Society of Virginia is trying to find homes for 4.000 beagles, exactly two weeks after NIAID Director Anthony Fauci told congress he would no longer use beagles for allergy testing.

These two stories seem connected.

July 5, 2022 – Under fire from foes of federal animal testing, the agency headed by COVID-19 czar Anthony Fauci has canceled a plan to start new tests of allergy medicine on beagles, some as young as 6 months.

In a letter to Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) and promoted by the White Coat Waste Project, Fauci said that instead of dogs, the new hay fever drug will be tested on rodents.

The Wall Street Journal has an interesting article [SEE HERE] outlining inter-connected data points for various state economies in a post-pandemic environment.

The topline takeaways are: (1) Employment in red states has fully recovered, and now exceeds the number of jobs as before the pandemic. (2) Employment in blue states remains below the pandemic numbers; meaning they have not recovered. (3) Net migration still shows people fleeing blue states like New York, California and Illinois; while (4) Net migration into red states like Florida, Texas, North/South Carolina and Tennessee is continuing.

The states that gained the most, led by Florida, Texas and North Carolina, are almost all red, as defined by the Cook Political Report based on how states voted in the past two presidential elections. The professional business class analysts (eyeroll) at the WSJ attribute the demographic shifts to the worker disconnect from the office.  Meaning workers can now work from home and are moving to environments where the quality of life is better.  White collar workers no longer bound to the geographic limitations of central office locations.

While some of that is likely accurate, there is no consideration for the lockdown effect.  The results of the pandemic showcased a very brutal acceptance, more people now seemingly realizing the politics of their regional leadership has a direct and consequential impact to the quality of their life.  The blue state leaders, ideologically disposed to dismissing the opinion of citizens, generally dispatched any consideration for the quality-of-life impact they created.  The people were irrelevant.

In this week’s discussion monologue, Neil Oliver outlines a recent push by U.S. and U.K. authorities to vaccinate children under 5-years of age.   Despite almost zero risk to their health from COVID-19 or any variant, in the U.S. the FDA has recently approved vaccinations for babies 6-months and older.

Mr. Oliver notes the risk vs- reward in this health protocol is ridiculous on its face.  There is no substantive risk from COVID19 to any healthy child or young adult, yet the government institutions of healthcare are seemingly blind to the medical evidence.   Oliver says, “leave our kids alone,” WATCH:

Smiling cartoon characters, children in superhero outfits, surely designed to persuade children as young as five years old that they might join the ranks of superheroes if they will just line up and bare an arm to the needle.

This brief soundbite from last week is somewhat of a precursor to the points raised by Neil Oliver this week.  The financial interests of the Big Rx corporations are directly tied to government.  This is the origin of the biggest issue behind government mandating the forced vaccination program for SARS-CoV-2 and any COVID-19 variant.

The adverse medical consequences from the COVID-19 vaccination program are only just now starting to surface while the government and Rx corporations continue to hide data showing adverse impacts.  At the same time as this massive conflict of interest and general health controversy is being debated, Pfizer CEO Albert Poula says he is “almost certain” that mandatory vaccine boosters will be part of the requirement by government each year.  WATCH (1 minute):

In his monologue this week Neil Oliver hits the target so perfectly he deserves extra appreciation.  You see, like many – including us, Oliver refuses to just let the two years of COVID madness disappear in the ether as if it didn’t exist, simply because the elites now find the questioning a little too uncomfy.

For two years they shoved their intolerant fingers in our faces, destroyed lives and livelihoods, made ridiculous demands in order to sustain their own fear, threatened our children, destroyed the economy, used COVID as an excuse to destroy families and steal an election, attempted to force us to kneel at the altar of their mask wearing and never-ending vaccine crap… and we’re just supposed to what, forgive them?  Fat chance…. Spanish newspaper El Mundo, and other news agencies, reported last week that Jose Maria Fernandez Sousa-Faro, president of European pharmaceuticals giant Pharma Mar was among 2,200 Spanish elites and celebs, investigated by police for allegedly paying thousands of Euros to be injected with a saline solution – salt water – instead of any of the Covid vaccines and so had their names added, falsely, to the National Immunization registry.

The issue within the DOJ filing an appeal to force U.S. airlines to reinstate the masks for air travel has nothing to do with public safety or benefits of mask wearing on airlines. The core issue is raw government power.

At the same time as the European Union has lifted all mask wearing restrictions for airline travel, Joe Biden is filing an appeal with the eleventh circuit court of appeals (Tampa, Florida) to overturn a judge’s ruling that lifted the mask mandate for airlines.  The extreme leftists within the Biden administration want to retain the power over people as an essential element within their larger agenda.

Freedom and self-determination are antithetical to the Build Back Better agenda, which necessarily includes the power of the federal government to make unilateral decisions that impact the lives of the people beneath it.  The airline mask mandate is just one small visual demonstration of the power of government over the people.

The need for raw power and forced edicts is why Biden cannot allow his fiats to be ignored.

WASHINGTON – The Department of Justice has appealed a federal judge’s ruling that vacated the federal mask mandate for public transportation.

A filing was made Tuesday, hours before the deadline and more than a month after the DOJ said it had filed a notice of appeal following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention saying it was requesting the challenge.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics released the County Employment and Wages Summary Wednesday [DATA HERE].  The economic tracking measures the employment and wage increases at a county level throughout 343 counties in the nation.

The BLS measures the data on an annual basis from December 2020 through December 2021.  The average rate of wage growth at a county level was 5.9%, far lower than the measured 8.5% inflation rate.  That means real wages, the income of most Americans at the county level have dropped.

However, within the data Florida stands out as having the largest number of counties exceeding the national average.  23 Florida counties are included in the BLS tracking.  An incredible 21 out of 23 Florida counties have wage growth that far exceeds the national average. [BLS, Table-1]

Additionally, Florida holds the top spot for the highest annual rate of wage growth in Palm Beach County with 15.6%…. AND… Florida holds the top spot for the highest annual rate of wage growth amid the ten largest counties, with Miami-Dade wage gains of 11.1%. [BLS, Table-2]

Congratulations Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Florida workers.   You have the rare distinction of having wage growth overall that exceeds the BLS measured level of Biden inflation.   It’s no wonder why so many people are heading to Florida for jobs.

Filling in for Neil Oliver this week, GB News host Bev Turner delivers a monologue taking a look at the COVID changes that have seemingly become a permanent change.

From remote working to interactions with electronic apps and digital screens instead of people, Turner gives examples of things that changed in the COVID era that never went back to the normal position after the COVID mitigation was ended.

From self-checkout to restaurants using menu apps for the customers to do all the ordering themselves, to plexiglass cubicles, the human connection has been frayed.  Mrs. Turner makes some good points that are well worth considering.  Will the free market bring back these lost connections, or are they gone forever?  WATCH:

Whenever anyone tries to get me to use a self-checkout, I politely say no thank you and remind the lanyard wearing robot “I have done my part; the rest is up to you if you want to keep my business.”   I have never experienced a restaurant where I had to order everything myself; from my perspective that would be akin to sitting in front of a vending machine, and I simply wouldn’t go there.  But that’s me.
