Solid Take from Glenn Greenwald on Elon Musk Motives and Purchase of Twitter

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson previewed a discussion with Glenn Greenwald that will appear in full tomorrow on Fox Nation.  In this segment {Direct Rumble Link Here} Greenwald gives his perspective on the motives of Elon Musk purchasing Twitter.

Greenwald does a good job encapsulating the essential support most feel for the Musk effort.  There are many people still uncertain about how this will all roll out, and Musk has been favorable to Big Govt in his two most famous endeavors, Tesla and SpaceX.   Elon Musk’s phase of pushing back against speech and internet control is more recent, and as a result has left many people wondering about it.

As Greenwald notes, there really isn’t a downside for people who are trying to break the totalitarian and monopoly control systems on the internet.  The upside benefits to on-line freedom, debate, discussion and the first real effort to stop internet censorship are well worth supporting.  Greenwald eloquently puts an appropriate context to the battle.  WATCH:

Tucker Carlson Gives His Perspective on Musk Successfully Purchasing Twitter Platform

There is an angle to this move which looms.  If the doomsday predictions of Twitter’s Thursday anticipated first quarter financial earnings are correct, it is entirely possible that Musk is about to take a massive financial hit.

Some, including myself, who understand the financial black hole that Twitter’s business model represents, have suspicions that Twitter may be hung around Musk’s neck like a millstone as he’s thrown into the deep state sea of social media.  It will be interesting to see how quickly Musk responds to those Q1 financials.  [NOTE: I foresee be a small user fee in the future]

News Release – “Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated,” said Mr. Musk. “I also want to make Twitter better than ever by enhancing the product with new features, making the algorithms open source to increase trust, defeating the spam bots, and authenticating all humans. Twitter has tremendous potential – I look forward to working with the company and the community of users to unlock it.”

Tucker Carlson outlined the political ramifications surrounding breaking one of the big social media platforms away from the deep state control agents. WATCH:

President Donald Trump will not be returning to Twitter, he is sticking with TruthSocial which is nearing completion.  “I am not going on Twitter, I am going to stay on TRUTH,” Trump told Fox News. “I hope Elon buys Twitter because he’ll make improvements to it and he is a good man, but I am going to be staying on TRUTH.”

There are a lot of downstream ramifications that have yet to surface as a result of the Musk-Twitter purchase.  Will users find out what the rules are for the specific network containers they have been assigned to?  Will the scale of simultaneous user data-processing be made public along with the algorithms that Twitter uses once you have been given a specific container assignment?

Elon Musk Successful Deal to Purchase Twitter for $44 Billion Likely to be Announced After Stock Market Close at 4pm Today

According to multiple media sources Twitter has reached a deal with the representatives of Elon Musk for the tech billionaire to purchase the social media company.  According to the Wall Street Journal, over the weekend the outlines of the deal were agreed and last night the final assembly of the purchase came together.

Keep in mind that Twitter is slated to report first-quarter earnings this Thursday, and originally the board was going to wait until after that earnings announcement to respond to the bid.

Something changed.

My suspicion is the financials of the Q1 earnings report will not support the $54.20 high end evaluation offer originally proposed by Musk.

If the low Q1 earnings rumors are accurate; and if Twitter had declined or fought the offer; the board would have been in the position of declining a deal that was substantially higher than the company market value, a tenuous position legally.   Thus, a deal was made.

(Wall Street Journal, update) – “Twitter is in advanced discussions to sell itself to Elon Musk and could finalize a deal Monday, people familiar with the matter said, days after the billionaire unveiled his $43 billion bid for the company.

The two sides worked through the night to hash out a deal that would be valued at $54.20 a share, or $44 billion, the people said. Assuming there isn’t a last-minute snag, the deal is expected to be announced after the market closes Monday, if not sooner.

The Desperation of Democrats Surfaces in Effort to Block GA Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene from Reelection

The issue would be insanely ridiculous, stupid and generally prone to ridicule if the judicial branch was not willing to engage this nonsense.

The far-left activists are attempting to use Lawfare tactics to block MAGA Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene from reelection using claims of “insurgency” as a justification to disqualify her from the ballot.  As unbelievable as it sounds, Representative Greene was forced to testify today in court as the Lawfare idiots test out the approach they intend to deploy against Donald Trump if they succeed in Georgia.

Andrew Celli, lawyer for the challengers, attempted to frame Greene as a leading insurrectionist in the J6 events in Washington DC.  To grasp how ridiculous this is, the lawyers even tried to use soundbites from a Hollywood movie, Independence Day, to give the impression of Greene trying to overthrow the government by saying, “We will not go quietly into that good night.” {Direct Rumble LinkWATCH:

Apparently, lawyer Celli, has never read the poem “Do not go gentle into that good night,” as written by Dylan Thomas [1914-1953].  That poem is the original iteration of the phrase that has been used many times by various speakers for emphasizing grit, courage and determination.   Many public speakers have used various iterations of the sentiment in speeches and comments.

The Georgia case revolves around an archaic Civil War-era provision of the Fourteenth Amendment, which says any American official who takes an oath to uphold the Constitution is disqualified from holding any future office if they “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.”   However, how this would possibly apply today is a silly legal question, which takes the court down the rabbit hole of questioning free speech and political discourse.

…But that’s how desperate the Democrats are.

President Obama Emphasizes the Importance of the Public-Private Partnership Controlling and Labeling Information

In the background of politics and government interests, there has been a shadow discussion barely visible behind the opaque glass door.  Today, that door opened, Barack Obama stepped out and delivered a speech.  Now we get clarity on the movements CTH has been warning about.

It does not come as a coincidence that former President Obama delivered THIS speech about misinformation and disinformation amid the intelligence community effort to control information and social media.  The timing tells a story, specifically the timing just a day after former Obama administration intelligence officials wrote a letter {SEE HERE} warning about efforts to break up the information control by Big Tech and Social Media.

The intelligence apparatus does not want their public-private partnership, between government and big tech social media, interfered with.  President Obama steps forth to put an exclamation point in place, saying the public-private partnership he created must control the information.  WATCH:

I cannot emphasize strongly enough; how close this collective demand is to a similar construct in Orwell’s 1984 prediction of “The Ministry of Truth.”  Indeed, if you follow the need for government control of information its logical conclusion, these demands by the U.S. deep state architects are identical.

I also hope readers can see this speech for what it is.  THIS is exactly what we were warning about when the shadows were moving feverously in the past several weeks {GO DEEP}.   The catchphrases “disinformation”, “misinformation” and “malinformation” are being cited by President Obama in that speech.   Where did that lingo come from?  THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY {SEE HERE}

At the top of all critical issues we must understand, share and keep focus on, the issue surrounding the free flow of information is the most critical.

Free speech, social media platforming, user bans, censorship, demonetization, financial targeting of Canadian truckers, Elon Musk attempting to purchase Twitter, our ability to communicate, the culture war, the digital identity issue, heck, even you being able to read this, all of it surrounds the central component of information.

This is the big war.  Controlling, labeling, emphasizing, downplaying, removing, information ; everything else is downstream from this fight.

Elon Musk Unveils Financial Bid for $46 Billion Deal to Purchase Twitter, Through the Board or Directly to Shareholders

There is still doubt if Elon Musk really does want to purchase the Twitter social media platform.  However, Musk himself seems to be putting a lot of his own credibility on the line as he announces the construct of his $46 billion purchase proposal.

It looks like Musk has created a second alternative to the purchase if the Twitter board of directors refuses the original offer.  Within the secondary construct, a tender offer, Musk would be able to bypass the board and go directly to shareholders.

(YAHOO) – Elon Musk has secured commitments for $46.5bn (£35.5bn) that would allow him to bypass Twitter’s (TWTR) board and go directly to the social media company’s shareholders with his takeover bid.

Musk said he would personally provide $21bn of equity for the deal with another $12.5bn coming from margin loans, according to paperwork filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday.

Club Rules Highlighted Again – Tennessee Republican Club Blocks Morgan Ortagus, Baxter Lee and Robby Starbuck From Ballot

The Tennessee Republican Club has met to decide who they will permit on the ballot.  Morgan Ortagus, Baxter Lee and Robby Starbuck have been disavowed by the TN Club for being unworthy candidates according to private rules within the assembly.  Mitch McConnell smiles.

There is nothing in the U.S. Constitution which outlines or supports the use of political clubs to create political parties for candidates for office.  This is one of the lesser-known facets to U.S. elections.

The Republican and Democrat parties are private clubs with internal rules that operate within the system for elections.  Each club chapter can make up their own rules and select candidates for approval based on their own qualifications.

TENNESSEE – The Tennessee Republican Party has removed three candidates, including one endorsed by former President Trump, from the primary ballot for one of the state’s House races.

The Tennessee Republican Party voted on Tuesday to dismiss Trump-backed Morgan Ortagus, who previously served as a spokesperson at the State Department, as well as Baxter Lee and Robby Starbuck, from the primary ballot for the state’s 5th Congressional District, state GOP Chairman Scott Golden confirmed to The Hill. As the 2022 primary season begins to take shape, it is important to remember that all messaging from the people within the private club known as the GOP (for selected politicians) or RNC (for membership to support the selected politicians), does not come from some organic coincidence.

Biden Administration Unsure if They Will Challenge Court Ruling Overturning Federal Mask Mandate

Obviously, the office of White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain is urgently contacting pollsters to measure how the base of the party would feel if the administration did not challenge the federal court ruling that overturned the federal mask mandate for transportation.

The far-left is on its heels after a Tampa judge overturned the CDC’s legal framework for the mask mandate rule, and the TSA changed their guidance.  Most of the Biden support base, the Covidians, define themselves through the virtue signaling of wearing a mask. However, all of the airlines quickly abandoned rules for masks during travel, and the overwhelming majority of Americans cheered.

Now, the Biden DOJ finds themselves in a hot political place.  Biden is stuck between the mentally and emotionally unstable Covidians (10%) and the normal Americans (90%).  If the DOJ doesn’t challenge the ruling, the Covidians will be even more mad. [Psaki Transcript Here]

(WASHINGTON DC) – […]  White House press secretary Jen Psaki, speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One en route to New Hampshire, said the Justice Department was still reviewing the ruling and noted that these reviews typically take a few days. She pointed out that the CDC had said previously it needed 15 days to evaluate public health data related to the mask mandate.
