The White House Office of Trade and Manufacturing released an extensive report this week identifying the major nations who enable China to transship goods into the U.S market in an effort to avoid tariffs.  [REPORT HERE]

Within the report several nations and regions are identified as being used by Chinese manufacturers to avoid U.S. customs and duty enforcement mechanisms.  However, both Canada and Mexico are cited as primary enablers of the process.

The issue strikes at the heart of the problem identified long ago with the NAFTA agreement, and the problem only worsens when the USMCA provisions on country of origin are not enforced.

When you remove oil and lumber, the majority of Canada’s manufactured exports to the USA contain Chinese component parts and this has been the source of much friction in the current trade negotiations.  The manufacturing supply chain within all free trade agreements only works when the source of component goods is accurately recorded.

The story of Jason Arday is one of the strangest and yet embarrassingly sad representations of political correctness, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion running amok. [Recap of Absurd Stories Here]

After one of the most ridiculous and absurd life stories was seemingly accepted by the Cambridge University academic community, they raised Jason Arday to a professorship of sociology and education in 2023.  Then slowly it surfaced that the guy was a professional plagiarist and was passing off the academic work of others as his own.

Everything unraveled as those outside the university system started looking at Arday’s scholarship and life claims.  The absurdity of it all ended up with massive embarrassment for the university and those within it.

Arday resigned in disgrace; but prior to the discovery of his fictitious life story being sold as real, he signed a book deal which was scheduled to launch this week.  I suspect the publisher did some serious hindsight research and discovered the material in the book was entirely made up.   Something happened, and today Mr Arday was found dead.

Many people saw the cold murder of CEO Brian Thompson carried out by Luigi Mangione on the street in New York City.  Mangione was facing state and federal charges related to the assassination.  Today, Mangione pled guilty to two federal counts of stalking Thompson.

I’m not sure if this is some scheme by his defense attorneys to avoid the state murder charge; it seems like it is.  According to the defense, Mangione cannot be charged by federal and state court for the same crime; therefore, a guilty plea to the federal crime of stalking looks like it is being used as an escape mechanism from the state charge of murder.

What is super creepy about this case is the amount of support Mangione has for the murder.  There is a remarkable and unnerving amount of online support for him, despite his cold-blooded killing of Brian Thompson.

NEW YORK – Luigi Mangione, whose coldblooded killing of an insurance executive on a Manhattan sidewalk rattled the nation and struck fear into corporate America, pleaded guilty Friday to two federal stalking charges for the death of UnitedHealthcare leader Brian Thompson.

“On the morning of Dec. 4, 2024, I shot Mr. Thompson in Manhattan and he died,” Mangione solemnly told the judge during a court hearing.

It is an unfortunate reality in modern day America that leftists destroy everything beautiful due to their unstable mindset of anger, bitterness and hatred.  There is a particular ideology that must destroy things and never creates anything.

US Attorney Jeanine Pirro has just announced the arrest of Melissa L Farris for the vandalism. “Vandalizing our World War II Memorial is a despicable attack on a sacred monument honoring the Americans who fought and died for our freedom. Those Americans include my father and grandfather.

This morning, we are filing two felony charges, Depredation Against Property of the United States and Destruction of Veterans’ Memorials, in Federal District Court against Melissa L. Farris, offenses that carry penalties of up to ten years in prison. She is now in custody. {source}

Both Toyota and Honda had previously warned the Canadian government that without the USMCA they would shift production from Canada to the U.S. to avoid tariffs and secure long-term manufacturing stability.  We presume a similar message was conveyed to Mexico.

Earlier today Toyota announced they were moving half of their Tacoma Truck production from Mexico to an expanded facility in Texas that will now encompass 5 million square feet in San Antonio.

(Bloomberg) — Toyota Motor Corp. is moving production of its popular Tacoma midsize truck from a plant in Mexico to San Antonio as part of a $3.6 billion investment in the Texas facility.

The Japanese carmaker will build a second production line in San Antonio, where it currently makes full-size pickups and SUVs, and add some 2,000 new jobs by 2030, it said Monday.

The shift, following Toyota’s pledge last year to spend $10 billion on its US manufacturing operations over the next decade, comes as talks between the US and Mexico to renew a North American free trade agreement have stalled. President Donald Trump, who has pressed Toyota to invest more in the US, let a July 1 deadline pass without a trade pact extension.

You can’t watch the lumbering nemesis of promoted cultural marxism succeed in sportball and not laugh. I watch this video with a smile; in part because I have watched hundreds of videos of European regulars saying they cannot believe how wonderful their experience in America has been.

The larger sense, the biggest picture, is how each of these voices are declaring themselves free from the proximity of EU propaganda, and when that moment is reached these realities can never be unseen.

At the same time, I think of the EU bureaucrats standing jaw-agape wondering if things will ever be the same again….. a 6-foot-5 Viking warrior who has absolutely no time for anything fancy

My friends, the need for control is a reaction to fear. The control mechanisms have weakened with every Viking cheer and drumbeat. It is a good day for freedom.

FACT: It has been over 60-years since Canada purchased a submarine.  FACT: Canada has never built one.  FACT: Currently the Canadian military have ONE operable submarine out of a fleet of four used ones previously purchased. FACT: Canada recently proclaimed themselves as the North American defender of the Arctic.

Now, put all those facts in the overlay of the December 2024 meeting in Mar-a-Lago between President Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.  President Trump was demanding that Trudeau increase their NATO spending and develop a working Canadian military.

Someone recently asked in the comments section why I have an issue with Canada, specifically why a new level of distain for our Northern neighbors.  Quite simply, there is a level of lying that exceeds my tongue bite capacity; that level of deceit comes when fabricating lies is accompanied by pretending. The Canadian government is the worst type of political abuser.  They willfully pretend and simultaneously lie to the Canadian people. That’s the answer.

Today, the government of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announce that German industrial shipbuilder TKMS will be awarded a contract for “up to 12 submarines” valued between $20 and $30 billion {source link}.  Now, let’s not pretend.

First, the submarine contract is intended to get Canada back into reasonable position on their NATO obligations.

In reality, it is quite remarkable to think about the Canadian nation with only one currently functional submarine. “Canada hasn’t purchased unused submarines since the 1960s, during the Cold War, and has never ordered anywhere near 12 at once. Canada currently owns four subs, all of which were purchased second-hand, and only one of which is typically operational.” {citation} Now, think about that Mar-a-Lago conversation again.
