They are clearly confused about a CO2 leak vs a CO leak in this story.
Carbon Monoxide very dangerous & comes from restricted flue’s of combustible fuels.
Carbon Dioxide can be dangerous in large concentrations,but the only place I know of to get large concentrations of a CO2 leak is from a business that uses a BiB soda fountain to drive the pumps of syrup & carbonate the water for Coke/Pepsi soda kiosk.
CO2 would only be harmful in large enough concentrations to displace all the oxygen. CO will get into your blood stream easier than oxygen, just like alcohol, and you can suffer brain damage or death from oxygen deprivation.
The article fails on many levels. Most important mixing up CO2 with CO, unforgivable for a newspaper. What was the commercial building using CO for? Was the leak confined to the building? If outside what were the concentrations? What were wind conditions? Windy would disperse it very quickly. What is the danger to the public? Pretty much dishonest clickbait.
Well high levels of Carbon Dioxide will certainly make Seattle a bit greener.

The biggest one I ever saw was huge……and directly under my tree stand a couple of days before it was legal to take it. I got a good long look at it. A couple of days later I had it cross haired at 75 yards…..staring me in the eye through the scope. It didn’t recognize me as a man, but it knew SOMETHING was in that tree.
It was just too beautiful, I let it walk.
God Almighty makes things that are pretty.
Talk about hunting in my neck of the woods, our state gives one buck and one doe in certain areas. If you kill the doe, than you earn another buck. Herd thinning or food manipulation? My first hunt I saw a beautiful doe walk up to me, just didn’t have the heart to hurt her when she saw me!
I used to be an election judge and I’ll never forget a few years ago when a college student came in our polling place to vote but he planned to take his cell phone with him behind the voting curtain so he could retrieve the ballot answers he’d filled in online.
I told him he wasn’t allowed to have his cell phone out so I had a poll worker step outside with the young man and copy his answers on paper so he’d know how to vote. I thought the problem was resolved but a few minutes later he came to me with the paper she’d given him and said, “I can’t read this!”
“Why not?” I asked.
“Because it’s written in cursive!” he said.
So I printed the letters for him so he could read the words he’d typed!
And that got me to wondering how many college graduates today cannot read the original Declaration of Independence or United States Constitution, because our Founding Fathers wrote them in cursive…which is no longer taught in our public schools!
Sad to say that, based on what I’ve seen, most college graduates today wouldn’t be able to read the Founding documents that any fourth grade pupil in my old elementary school was expected to be able to read aloud to the nuns!
Judging from the slips of paper I use to allow people to communicate to me what they wish to sing for Karaoke.
1 They can barely spell their name legibly in block lettering.
2 They usually know who the artist of the song is, but cannot spell it.
3 They barely know the actual name of the song they wish to sing as I have to make alot of guesses & if the song is from the rap & hip hop period, I cannot help them because I do not know any of the lyrics from those artists.
But they fully understand the below language:

Rutherford’s early work in radiation was groundbreaking. He was the first to realize that radioactive elements decayed at a predictable rate, a concept known as half-life. His studies of uranium and thorium put him at the forefront of research in the field of radioactivity, a term he actually coined.
Rutherford made perhaps his most significant contribution to physics with his gold foil experiment in 1909. . . . rich in what matters to God. (Luke 12:21)
We don’t usually need much training in being “rich” in what matters to the world. Our natural tendencies push us to work hard so that we can afford to buy not just sufficient things but nice things as well. But to become rich “in what matters to God” (Luke 12:21)—that takes something more than training and discipline. It requires a transformation of the heart.
Think about what prompted Jesus to tell the parable of the rich fool in today’s Gospel. A man tried to enlist him as a mediator in an inheritance dispute with his brother. He wanted Jesus to help him get what he thought was his fair share of his father’s estate. But Jesus had a far different goal in mind. You can almost hear him saying,
Or, to use the imagery from his parable,
You never hear about a saint who wished they had a bigger bank account. You never hear about a missionary who wore only the finest silk shirts or dresses. That’s because they discovered a different kind of wealth—the riches of discipleship. These are riches that “neither moth nor decay destroys, nor thieves break in and steal” (Matthew 6:20).
In prayer today, put yourself in place of the man who asked Jesus to help him become wealthier. What kind of wealth are you looking for? To what degree is it riches that matter to the world, and to what degree is it riches that matter to God? Tell Jesus about the balance between the two, and ask him to tell you what he thinks about it.
If you let Jesus see your true desires, including whatever “bigger barns” you are hoping for, he will give you a glimpse into his desires for you. He will show you what it could be like if you were more rich in what matters to him—the joys, the spiritual insights, the sense of purpose, and, yes, the challenges. And he will fill you with a deeper desire to pursue that wealth—the wealth that really matters.

They don’t need to be able to read or write in order to block roads, set fires, riot, attack law enforcement, vandalize etc. The NGO handlers schedule, pay, supply and organize these violent American adult protesters. There are no current NGOs doing anything proactive on the Republican side. TPUSA was the only national one of note that I knew of, and they assassinated Charlie because TPUSA became too effective. Only President Trump with his multiple rallies is doing anything to combat the Democrats and their well-funded NGOs. It is no wonder this nation is in so much trouble. The Republican Party is not, and will not mount any type of organized opposition to the Democrats/communists/muslims who are waging a silent “w4r” against our culture, values, and government. The Republican Party has signaled by their inactions that they will not help us, because they support the Democrats.
