Toward Latin America there are multiple options, but it’s likely a significant U.S. military footprint is destined for Greenland. If you read President Trump’s earlier announcement you might note:
…”We will immediately begin the process of developing a large Military presence in the appropriate part of Greenland, of which there are many. We will work with the people of Greenland in its development and construction.”
This announcement comes directly after President Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced a review of NATO forces in Europe with the expressed intention of drawing down the U.S. footprint. The Pentagon announced a six-month review of US forces in Europe in June, directing US Air Force General Alexus Grynkewich, the head of US European Command, to assess future force requirements.
According to media, “The proposed reduction could involve around 25,000 troops, which is roughly one-third of the approximately 80,000 US service members currently stationed in Europe. Some officials involved in the discussions have indicated that the figure could be considerably higher, potentially reaching 40,000, or about half of the American military presence on the continent, according to NBC News.”
Germany is the largest American military hub on the continent, with around 36,000 US troops. Italy hosts about 12,000 US troops and several major air bases. Spain, meanwhile, provides important air and naval facilities in the country’s south. These would be the bases most likely to see significant withdrawal. All three nations are a hot mess of political manipulation, economic turmoil, internal friction and opposition to the U.S. national security framework.
Revisit President Trump and Marco Rubio’s National Security Strategy:
[President Trump] – […] The larger issues facing Europe include activities of the European Union and other transnational bodies that undermine political liberty and sovereignty, migration policies that are transforming the continent and creating strife, censorship of free speech and suppression of political opposition, cratering birthrates, and loss of national identities and self-confidence.
[…] The Trump Administration finds itself at odds with European officials who hold unrealistic expectations for the war perched in unstable minority governments, many of which trample on basic principles of democracy to suppress opposition. A large European majority wants peace, yet that desire is not translated into policy, in large measure because of those governments’ subversion of democratic processes. This is strategically important to the
United States precisely because European states cannot reform themselves if they are trapped in political crisis.
[…] Over the long term, it is more than plausible that within a few decades at the latest, certain NATO members will become majority non-European. As such, it is an open question whether they will view their place in the world, or their alliance with the United States, in the same way as those who signed the NATO charter. {SOURCE}
Secretary of State and National Security Advisor Marco Rubio wrote that outline.
So, North American military bases will essentially look like this:

Haha!
More brilliance. Yep, I can now see Canada as the 51st state!
Yuk!!
It’s bad enough having to deal with those cheapskates in the coming months.
Leave it a territory WITHOUT Voting Rights.
Not necessary if a pro-USA Prime Minister were elected….but of course King Charles would dismiss him.
Conundrum.
The Queen is rolling in her grave. All the greatness she accomplished is unravelling!
Depending on from where one looks at this newly developing map, what a year ago looked like Fort Greenland protecting the NE quadrant and sealanes of Fortress America now could be seen as:
from the EU – envelopment by Russia and US Greenland, squeezing and limiting Europe’s military and trade options
from Canada – a new front opened in response to Carney’s positioning them as Cuba-North to threated, infiltrate, annoy the US
from Brussels – a US controlled chokepoint that potentially cuts off shipping access between EuroNato and their newly embraced cousin Canada’s resources
from Ukraine – a barrier to receiving all those new “SnowGeese” Canadian drones for the next 100 years (“Just wire us the money, Mark. We know what to do with it.”)
I propose instead of using Snow Mexicans to describe TPB Canadians we now use Snow Cubans or Snow Marxists.
Yellow snow applies …
Yellow Snow Country
dont eat yellow snow!
It’s more about the border itself. Anyone from any nation can sneak into the USA when those countries (Mexico, Canada) allow open borders.
I’m so relieved that our VSG President is way out in front of where things are headed (UN’s one world totalitarian threat). He doesn’t seek favor nor does he obtain permission from the fake news SELLOUTS in order to set our national security priorities.
I have to say he does know how to get our attention though. Half this country doesn’t know its ass from its elbow but it’s slowly sinking in.. in a national enquirer sort of way (for them) but hey, ya gotta start somewhere..
Lake America, Eh?
Viva la Gulf of America!
Now, what should we name our bases in Greenland?
Fort Liberty
Fort Freedom
Fort Sovereignty
Cape Can’t-Have-It-All
UN Seen Nothing Yet
Love those base names especially the last one.
The biggest problem I see for this is troop morale. The shedding bases in Europe all have extensive housing and related support facilities for families and all of them are accompanied tour posts. Our only current base in Greenland, Pituffik, is “unaccompanied, short term rotation.” Zero facilities for families and NO PETS ALLOWED.
tell the truth, do you not think President Trump has that planned? really? come on man this is where the smart people hang out.
It’s kinda true. Military stationed in Europe don’t have it bad at all.
No one is going to be happy about being stationed in the
Ice-Fortress of Solitude……….. No matter what surplus facilities are constructed there.
Europe is no longer the cultural place for families. Military has seen the unsafe transition to immigrant invasion and has lost its appeal as a positive experience for families.
Just saying that there’s plenty to do in Europe during off time. And you have the seasons and nice weather.
There’s literally nothing to do and nowhere to go on Greenland.
Which can be changed.
The Wild Wild West was pretty poor…None of the East Coast amenities.
But people kept moving West, eh ?
What are you talking about ??? Bowling alleys and billiard rooms ?
There’s nothing cultural or historical in Greenland. Absolutely no sightseeing/tourism opportunities, no museums, no wineries, beer halls, bistros, restaurants…… Nothing.
That list looks like the start of business opportunities. Until then, 4 hour flight to NY.
That’s nonsense.
Look at the big picture instead of the short term.
Your comment is nonsense.
GW, pleeaassee, as a previous active duty guy, Out-of-CONUS military bases should be filled with “war fighters”, not families. Those bases are force projection points not Club Med. The cost savings without the family component would be enormous. Add in the reduced chance of a loved one being stabbed by a Sub-Saharan African.
Example, U.S. Navy, 6+ month rotation on a boat. You don’t bring your family. You are the pointy end of the spear. Force projection doesn’t need a big, soft, local foot print. Unaccompanied overseas tours should be the norm. Only honest exception would be base commanders for long-term continuity.
…strides off soapbox..
People seem to completely miss the forest for the trees here.
The one and only point is that military deployments to Europe were never anything to dread.
Why do you think all the movie jokes when they want to get rid of some soldier /agent are about “I want him manning a radar tower in Alaska/Greenland by the end of the day. Just mail him his clothes”.
You’re going to have a lot of soldiers dreading posts in Greenland. They had better be short rotations.
The only one missing the forest for the trees here is you (in your case a single lone tree).
The forest is the totality of what the deal provides – the lone(ly) tree your hugging is at best a very minor issue. Active duty military have many such shorter term (6 to 12 month) unaccompanied tours as a possible part of their lives. Most view such events as at most a minor annoyance that is part of the job. There are others who relish such assignments. A one year rotation in Greenland beats the pants off a 1 year tour in Afghanistan. It’s a nothing burger.
Military deployed over seas get paid and spend money. That in itself will help us, the money will be spent at home.
Yellow snow will get none of it.
You could be right.
You could be wrong.
Trump enters the Einstein territory!
What a business opportunity…
Madame Aurora Borealis’s –Pastries, massage, and petting emporium.
Build a zoo of exotic polar animals.
Everyone will visit once.
Comfort workers will be in great demand.
I wasn’t aware that the United States Military was a travel agency providing discount vacations to military personnel
Yes, apparently it’s Club Med, who knew?
Realistically, troops can be rotated in and out of any area to avoid burnout, just like we do with emergency workers, police and anyone assigned to work the least desirable areas.
Leaving our troops inside increasingly hostile, EU territory (I hesitate to reference countries at this point, as national sovereignty and the UN’s Open Borders Pact/ New World Order do not mix) would be like housing them inside Iran.
We haven’t heard much about this, but I’ve seen some bits of info on US bases across the middle east becoming target practice for Iranian drones/missiles and taking on major damage, Jordan being one of them, which used to be pretty much out of the fray. If true, it’s predictable that this will be the case at our bases in the EU in the future, especially with the laissez-faire attitudes of the EU leaders toward Iran. IMO, the Eurotards seem to be going down their typical path of appeasement as a solution, probably because they are afraid of Iran, (or their Muslim voters). Iran doesn’t even have nukes yet, but most of these countries are in target range of the conventional missiles Iran already possesses. If I were in the military, I don’t think I’d want my family on these bases at this point with the way things are heading in Europe.
It’s sad to see Europe going down in flames. The leadership is the bottom of the barrel, but most of the Europeans are good people.
Let me ask you this:
would you prefer a 1950’s built barracks to a 2026 built barracks ?
The 2026 has all of the comforts you imagine will be lost in the move, and probably some other plusses I can’t predict.
How about flight time home for a visit in half the time ?
How about NO illegal immigrants ? (unless you call the vagrant polar Bear an illegal immigrant.)
Are you assuming all the troops and support personnel slated to leave Europe to are to go to Greenland? I would think a few thousand with the rest elsewhere. My preference would be the remainder to go to our northern and southern borders!
No party housing..? oh the horror.. get may have to get to know the locals
The world is changing. President Trump is assuring a soft landing for all of us. He’s essentially putting up the fences on this hemisphere and letting the Europeans deal with their mess. He’s packing up the toys and moving them to our yard. The neighborhood is getting tough. Best to get our affairs in order.
I’m confident this is a good move from a military perspective.
I’m not so sure how it will turn out for military personnel who are stationed in Greenland.
Time will tell.
Rotation to Cuba will be the deal.
Yes, it will take time to build, move, and also let the natives prepare for big changes. Military personnel will spur many businesses and support infrastructure improvement. If it’s done right, the military will have very nice accommodations and the locals will benefit.
One of the things this move portends is the eventual diminution (some might say demolition) of our ongoing, never-ending basing of troops in Europe.
81 years… and counting!
77 years of NATO!
It is time – More than Time – for the
Oh-so-sophisticated,
Oh-so-superior
Crowned heads of Europe to face reality.
No more one-sided tariffs.
No more forever shouldering the burden of defense.
It’s my contention, that the people and establishment of Europe have become spoiled – badly spoiled – by their unthinking, selfish expectation that good ol’ Uncle Sam is going to carry their water, Forever…
… while they lift their snobby noses in the air and look down at those ‘simple rubes’: the American citizen.
Let’s see how their cradle-to-grave social safety net holds up, when they have to pay for their Own defense…
Let’s see how those 6-week (or more) vacations from 35-hour workweeks holds up… when the tariffs are equalized among trading partners…
Let’s see what Europe look like, when the umbilical cord is finally, irrevocably, cut.
Keep this handy for in a couple of years, we’ll be hearing all about how the Americans have ruined the lives and culture of the nature loving Inuits.
Social issues
LGBTQ rights
LGBTQ rights in Greenland are some of the most extensive in the world, relatively similar to those in Denmark. Transgender people may change the gender designation on their official identity documents. A law passed in 2016 by decree allows legal gender changes based on self-determination.[237][238] Since 2010, Greenland has had laws prohibiting hate speech against LGBTQ+ persons. Parliament passed a Law on Equal Treatment and Anti-Discrimination in 2024, which prohibits all discrimination on the basis of “sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, [and] gender characteristics”, among other characteristics. The law also creates an Equal Treatment Board to manage discrimination complaints and an Equality Council to promote non-discrimination.[239]
Compulsory contraception of Inuit women
Main article: Spiral case
In the 1960s and 1970s, at a time when the population was increasing, 4,500 Greenland Inuit women and girls (roughly half of all fertile females) were fitted with intrauterine devices (IUDs) by Danish doctors. Sometimes girls (as young as 12) were taken directly from school to have these devices inserted, without their parents’ permission. The procedure was also carried out on some Inuit girls at boarding schools in Denmark. As a result, over eight years’ time, from 1966 to 1974, fertility rates in Greenland fell from 7 to 2.3 children per woman, the fastest fertility transition on record in human history.[234]
In 2022 Danish Health Minister Magnus Heunicke announced an investigation into the decisions leading to the practice and its implementation.[235] Greenlandic doctors also carried out the same illegal procedures on several Inuit women after Greenland took control of its health care system in 1991.[236]
The rate of suicide in Greenland is very high. According to a 2010 census, Greenland holds the highest suicide rate in the world. [221][222]
In 2021, a study reported that there were 45 suicides, corresponding to a rate of 81 per 100,000 inhabitants annually. This was approximately eight times higher than in Denmark.[223] Another significant social issue is a high rate of alcoholism.[224] The rate of alcohol consumption peaked in the 1980s, when it was twice as high as in Denmark; by 2010 it had fallen slightly below that of Denmark. Alcohol prices are far higher in Greenland than in Denmark, meaning that consumption has a large socio-economic impact.[77][225]
The prevalence of HIV/AIDS has been high, reaching a peak in the 1990s when the number of AIDS-related deaths was also relatively high.
Silly.
The Inuits will want to join the new America.
I see a lot of Denmark subjects getting out of Dodge as well.
Your ‘comment’ is obviously an excerpt from some source other than your own mind. Wikipedia would be my guess. Regardless, common courtesy, at the very least, dictates that a source link be posted along with the excerpt. Doing so lets people know you’re willing to give credit to the legitimate owner of such intellectual property, and it also helps people decide if it’s from a reliable source.
Aren’t all cold weather climate areas have high rates of suicides? Alaska, Russia, Finland?
Weird, I didn’t realize how much seeing this Greenland deal actually happen would mean to me. Of the many, many things Trump has done for us, this huge step in the process of unshackling us from the European leeches is surprisingly high on my Favorites list. Maybe even fighting for 1st place on the list, although border-control still has the edge.
I know he’s working hard at it, but resolving the “pending” status of election security would make it a glorious trifecta.
My only disappointments so far are the lack of handcuffs for any of the treasonous b-stards, and the failure to fully codify “no men in women’s sports/spaces.” I know both of those are also in pending status, but unless we have a lovely upset at the midterms, it seems like he’s running out of time.
Oh ye of little faith !
Trump and a select Team have been examining and preparing for the coming election in 100’s of ways we mere mortals cannot imagine.
I think honestly we will see Democrats of long tenure rousted, because the money they employ to get illegal ballots has been blocked.
In the days following the upcoming midterm elections, a majority of those who claim election was stolen will be Demoncrats.
It’s a positive thought. Let’s keep it.
Look at the timing of the Greenland victory.
DJT is timing things with the midterms in mind.
Ditto Canada news, Venezuelan gold moving to US, Carney/Eu exposure.
He is eliminating choke points around the world. (meat packing, Strait of Hormuz, Panama Canal, Venezuelan gold to U.S., etc
I am beginning to see a timely flood of good news.
Also, remember when DJT talked about building icebreakers. Did he forsee all of this? Hmmm…..
PORTS OF Entries, States’ tollways, marina including inland rivers and lakes, and real estate majority holding in many states ALL need to be taken from foreign control. Until this is done, usurpation cannot be ended.
The surround Canada map needs to be fixed on the Alaska side. That finger on Alaska southeast side reaches half way along the coast of Canada. That’s where Juneau is.
Germany can take care of itself, second largest gold reserves in the world. Italy? Corrupt schizo state. It is about time we scale back.
Pull all our troops from West Europe.
What happens out of sight is probably more important than what is heralded by the media.

How about relocating 20,000 in Greenland and the other 20,000 here in the good ole USA surrounding the sanctuary cities.
Then give the order to remove all domestic terrorists aka Democrats……
Definitely worthy of consideration. Europe is a hot mess. They have the U.S. protecting them from Russia (questionable), but the real danger & need for protection is their own governments.

This midterm election is bigger than $.
Godspeed President Trump…..
I wonder if it’s beginning to dawn on Carney just how much he’s been outsmarted by President Trump.
And I’m sure there’s more to come from PTrump with regards to Canada!
As a result of reading this article. Did a bit of a dive into Iceland. Atlantic cod & haddock is abundant. Reindeer that taste like lean grain fed beef. Fresh vegetables available year round due to geo-thermal heat. Spectacular hiking trails. Swimming is huge, once again to thermal heat. The military facilities are sure to be top notch while being brand new. Imagine bowling and indoor tennis. Possibilities are endless. Churches & synagogues filled with a strong and faithful family unit. No ridiculous “what is a woman” trash and everything that goes with it. And the trip home is much shorter. I see no issue with military morale. I see a little Heaven on earth opportunity.
Iceland and Greenland are not the same.
Oops.
Iceland would be popular to visit during leave given its close location but it’s super expensive.
I have not read this comment section but my immediate reaction to the article was to laugh out loud!
More economic hurt for Europe. The lunatics may have to justify US presence one way or another. Suspect “Russian” attacks on NATO members will escalate. To what level it will reach, God help us all.
President Trump and his team need to figure out a way to get him a third term (some might say fourth term). There just isn’t time for him to achieve his goals by the end of this term. And perhaps circumstances are sufficient for invoking the Insurrection Act. Eg, Mainstream media, the judicial branch and deep state actors all conspiring against him.
PDJT can do exactly what Obama does, and more, because he is way smarter.
why would USA be defending EU/UK that are being conquered by jihadis?
Can we also withdraw our loaned nukes from Britain?
There’s no need to place tens of thousands of infantry in Greenland. Just move the NORAD radars in Canada to Greenland and add some missile interceptors. Rotate the crews regularly.
No wonder PDT was able to deal with the Danes:

Greenland is now de facto American territory while de jure it remain part of Denmark’s colonies.
While the US has unlimited reach, Denmark is limited to whatever the people decide.
In time the Americanization of Greenland will take place. I might go visit it within 5-6 years. Eventually, within a generation, the people living there will realize they’re closer to America than to Denmark.
The People will vote the realignment and Denmark cannot remove the US as part of this deal.
I would not be surprised of large military bases, data centers (cold is good), mineral exploration and fishing to increase exponentially because of the US. Some Americans will chose to live there.
US is there to stay.
Thank you President Trump.
Panama (the country not the channel) should be next. And I would also like Bahamas (right by Florida’s coast) to follow suit.
Our President is solving the NATO Problem, which has many facets.
The dictators and corrupt politicians of Europe need a Public Enemy in President Putin to stay out of prison themselves.
They are trying to provoke a war that we would fight for them and then hand over the wealth of Russia to them.

Terrorist Oligarch George Soros pioneered Regime Change using NGOs, which are not really non-governmental.
The former Nazi collaborator and currency manipulator hooked up with George Schulz’s State Dept. to help overthrow Communist Regimes, a laudable goal. Of course, he was only interested in using his insider knowledge to profit off of it, however.
He soon flipped and began using his NGOs to overthrow free counties and put them under Globo-Homo Tyranny.
His NATO book, “The Future of NATO” is about how to repurpose NATO, which had never fired a shot, into an offensive force to conquer patriotic nationalist countries WITHIN Europe after the Soviet Union ended.
It is directly responsible for the Clintons’ Illegal War in Bosnia, the Rape of Serbia and the Maidan Coup, all to bring in NATO bases, Endless War. Drug Trafficking, Sex Trafficking, Weapons Trafficking, Child Trafficking, Bio-Labs, Money Laundering and Islamic Terrorism–all Clinton favorites.
Not to mention the Ukraine War, with millions dead and wounded FOR NOTHING.
And all that Eastern European Tyranny was just a Trial Run for the Riots, Censorship, Looting of the Treasury, the Vaxx/Virus Bio-Attack, their Gestapo Fetish and the Election Fraud Coup they ran here in America.

Seems there is no up front payment. Denmark worked that into an ongoing deal somehow. Perhaps they will escape their $660M yearly burden over time. My opinion of Denmark has risen a bit for them finally coming to their senses. Now get rid of that “Kingdom of” crap.
Putin Warns European Leaders Are Preparing for War With Russia: “We’ll Have to Respond”–GP:
European leaders, with their statements that they are preparing for war with Russia, are attempting to salvage their sharply declining ratings and conceal failures in economic and social policy, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
“However, they are not succeeding, and it is not helping them,” Putin said.
He stressed that Russia has no aggressive intentions and is ready to cooperate and restore relations with Europe.
“Instead of stopping and listening to their citizens, who clearly show in elections that they do not want war with Russia, European leaders continue to further escalate tensions,” Putin said.
According to him, they are using the situation in Ukraine to further escalate the conflict, treating Ukrainians as cannon fodder.
He said the Kyiv regime needs the war in order to remain in power.
“Power in Ukraine has been usurped by a group of embezzlers and corrupt officials who need the war to remain in power without elections,” Putin said at a meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission.
He added that the Kyiv authorities are corrupt to the core.
Kayfabe in Kiev:
“Of those thousands who were lost or marked by that war, those were some of mine. They and the rest of the men in my unit were brave and it was an honor to serve with them, yet I cannot forget that our actions downrange were in service to policies built upon a great deal of lies and treachery. We were betrayed then. And we are being betrayed again.
I recall how vehemently anti-war the Left was then, and how the Jon Stewarts and other court eunuchs used the issue as a means to attack my people and reveal their master’s pivot from pretending to give a damn about the working class and what remains of small-town and rural folk to displaying their true contempt for us as Kulaks. The indisputable fact of their recent conversion to brute hawkishness reveals the truth of something David Reaboi noted, riffing on Lee Smith: “The Democratic Party doesn’t have foreign enemies. They have foreigners who remind them of domestic enemies.”
I’d say that’s about right. There’s a bloodlust running like a current through those identifying with the party that was clearly stoked in them by the Managerial Class. I swear, you can’t swing a dead cat without hitting three freshly activated Manchurian Candidates ready to put their war-boner on the world. I am convinced it is demonic. Yesterday at my Normie-Job I heard an 80-something year old woman read aloud an article about how a cruise line would no longer offer stops in St. Petersberg, and would cost the Russian people there millions of dollars in lost revenue. She was almost gloating about the prospect of the impoverishment of those affected. A week ago she was deathly afraid of Covid and lamenting a friend’s refusal to take the ‘vaccine’. From what I understand, she was a former school teacher.
As bad as that is, it troubles me even more to see it from officials ostensibly on our side of the aisle. A schizophrenic coalition representing the Grift-Industrial Complex with a crooked-ass elderly dementia patient for a spokesman has been rolling into a midterm election season with low approval ratings due to their sheer incompetence and corruption, and no sooner than they call for blood against foreigners, RINOs fall in line with them, ready to snatch a defeat from the jaws of victory like the Jobronis they are.
The fools can’t seem to grasp that the Globalist-Left is not only on the brink of starting a war in which Red State sons would disproportionately be paying America’s butcher’s bill, but the tools developed in GWOT and refined in the plot against President Trump, the Canadian Trucker Protest, and now Russia will be directed against people like us who object to living under the diktats of GloboHomo. They will run headlong to secure the borders of Ukraine or Taiwan (or rather, send others to do so), yet when it comes to doing something about those who have declared war on us here at home, suddenly their martial vigor fails them and they sit like good little school boys awaiting instruction from their teacher. They let their enemies tell them who they should fight, then wonder why they always seem to lose. Charlie Brown had more self-awareness. In a way, I suspect it must be a bit of a relief for some. Having a faraway spectacle elsewhere offers a distraction from just how corrupt the ruling class is here and dulls the messy responsibility of having to do something about it.”…….
Breaking the World to Save It:
“It was believed by many that behind the scenes of the failed accord were those in the US government and NATO who were all too happy to sabotage the peace process. Several sources close to the proceedings reported that the US ambassador to Yugoslavia, Warren Zimmerman, had cut a deal with Izetbegović, offering him full support if he withdrew from the Lisbon Agreement. Though Zimmerman publicly denied having done so, the reports found in the cables suggest this was less than the truth.
The Canadians observed that Bosniak forces had been emboldened by “outside” help initially stemming from diplomatic and media cover, and later through the assistance of weapons, materiel, and Mujahedeen brought in from fronts like Afghanistan on “black flights.” (Keep that in mind the next time some high-ranking ex-Spook on the news throws words at you like “treason” and gets the vapors about threats to “our democracy” when you dare to question their leadership. Sleep well, America.) The veteran Jihadist fighters introduced new tactics to Bozniak’s efforts as the Canadian peacekeepers reported Muslim combatants “masquerading as UN forces” and “firing on their own people” in the hopes of Western reporters attributing the attacks to Serbs. The Serbs retaliated with increased zeal. Once the carnage reached a sufficient pitch, NATO launched a bombing campaign, signaling The West would now openly command the theater of battle until the region was at last reduced to ruins and made safe for “Freedom,” “Human Rights,” and “The Rules-Based Order.”™
The wars that marked the end of Yugoslavia are now ancient history, meaning little to those of the Current Year save for the souls who lived through seeing their home destroyed from the inside until outsiders set fire to what was left. However, watching the war in Ukraine play out over this past year, I find it difficult not to see it following a similar trajectory.
Once again, we see the government and prestige media supply a story for us Proles establishing the heroes and the villains, their proxies always framed as a minority victim group trying to stand against the larger aggressor, all the while hidden in the fine print is the understanding that their “liberation” will merely be a gilded servitude as the latest satrapy-franchise of GloboHomo.
As was the case in Yugoslavia, Washington shows no interest in de-escalating the conflict. Similar to the way US and NATO sought to directly aid Serbian adversaries on the ground while applying political pressure in such a way that ”deliberately set the bar higher than the Serbs could accept,” they presented the dominant regional power with the choice of either capitulating or finding allies and cultivating a deeper level of ferocity. Events in Ukraine echo that tune, as the current Brass has willfully disregarded the counsel of wiser men who warned that NATO expansion eastward would only be interpreted by Russia as an act of aggression and put them in the untenable position of either allowing an adversary a foothold on their border or roll the dice on a contest of blood. …
There was a picture I saw on the cover of a magazine back in junior high featuring an emaciated man standing amidst a group of weary people with a barbed wire fence between them and the camera. Once the media got ahold of that and uttered the words genocide and ethnic cleansing, those calling for US involvement found the support they needed. That mass murder, rape, and destruction of all kinds were committed by all against all at that point, and camps of refugees detained or protected behind wire were sadly by no means unique, didn’t matter. That neighbor had raised hand against neighbor as the Devil ran wild was irrelevant. The spell conjured through image and word was sufficient to serve as a foundation for establishing “Serb guilt” in the minds of The West and justification for unlimited military action against them regardless of who and what was destroyed along the way.” …….

** CARNEY trying to make himself relevant in the news. **
The two leaders will hold a working lunch and attend a wreath-laying ceremony in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, a French territory which just barely beats out GREENLAND as the geographically closest European territory to Canada.
Macron was scheduled to be on the islands from Sept. 19 to 21, ahead of his trip to New York City for the UN General Assembly next week. Carney, who will also travel to New York, will join Macon on Saint-Pierre for a few hours on Sunday.
Macron’s office said Carney will become the first Canadian prime minister to have an official visit to Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon. Macron is the first French president to visit in more than a decade.
For Carney, it’s another chance to showcase Canada’s growing ties with Europe, just days after he visited the European Parliament.

Greenland’s population is about to grow, especially around the northern rim, at first. And greenland’s citizens will have opportunities to become wealthy. Business of all kinds.
Look .. the 51st state … lol ..
sDee shared a pic of the top of the globe on the first page. In looking at it, I think there needs to be a similar base on the southern end of Greenland, to provide the same security against Europostan which the northern one does/did against Russia…
