The Western intelligence operatives who control Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Ukraine military effort, previously thought they could destroy the Russian economy by targeting online retail warehouses. That didn’t work out too well. Russia then began destroying Kiev warehouses, and that created a major problem.
Ukraine-NATO then moved to targeting Russian diesel fuel refineries, and with a heavily exported output targeted that creates a global shortage. [There’s a lot of diesel refineries in Russia because the process is dirty industry, and EU-NATO doesn’t like those dirty carbon jobs.] That said, the disruption created a global price spike which led to President Trump asking Zelenskyy to avoid the diesel plants.

Sensing he has the upper hand, the vertically challenged unelected leader of Ukraine now says he will stop the targeting of diesel refineries if Russia stops destroying his electricity grid and food supply. Somewhere in this hot mess there might be an opening for a ceasefire.
VOLODYMYR ZELENSKYY – Ukraine has proposed that its partners secure an agreement with Russia that would stop the destruction of critical infrastructure. Food, energy, and other basics that sustain life must be protected, and Russian strikes are directed primarily against them. Every day, Ukrainian energy facilities, port infrastructure, logistics, and even warehouses storing food and pharmaceuticals are targeted. Ukraine is not convinced that Russia is willing to abide by any agreement.
If our partners are ready to ensure that Russia genuinely refrains from striking our electricity system, other energy facilities, critical infrastructure, and food supply routes, then, of course, we are ready to ensure a corresponding halt to our strikes. So that it is reliable, long-term, has a real impact on people’s lives, and does not fall apart after the Russians hold their “elections” and get an easing of pressure on gasoline and diesel precisely for that period. The war must be brought to an end. And a de-escalatory step regarding critical infrastructure could be the first step toward peace. We expect specifics from our partners. (read more)
Once again, Zelenskyy notes he must await specifics from his partners in London, Paris, Berlin and Brussels before he can accept a request to tone down the targeting efforts.
Zelenskyy is not in charge of things. Never was.
Meanwhile, Russia is silent.
In reality, Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin is ambivalent to the diesel impact because he has more than enough. Putin also sees this aspect through the prism of Zelenskyy’s partners and the global intelligence system being quite happy with the election targeting of President Trump.

“Ukraine” has zero ability to hit any targets deep inside Russia. So we don’t need to ask them to stop doing that … we can simply deprive them of the ability to do it.
It’s tedious watching everyone, including even the Trump administration, playing along with the fiction that Ukraine is something other than a 100% owned and operated proxy state of the West.
“Somewhere in this hot mess there might be an opening for a ceasefire.”
Cease fires traditionally have not worked around there.
President Z will not be vertically challenged much longer. He will be horizontally stabilized at the McConnell Graham Center for Breathing Problems.

“Once again, Zelenskyy notes he must await specifics from his partners in London, Paris, Berlin and Brussels before he can accept a request to tone down the targeting efforts.”
Doesn’t he realize the repeated statements about clearing things with other leaders makes him look like a little weenie?
Or perhaps he does but due to drug use he just does not care.
so lets say the houthis manage to kick the epstein princes of the saud regime out, and all the foreigners who know how to operate the oil infrastructure flee, and that portion of world supply goes offline as well…
would the diesel shortages, now upgraded to acknowledged from fake news last week, still be totally ukraines fault and have absolutely nothing to do with any other issue anywhere in the world? or perhaps it WOULD be the houthis fault but we would now separate that from iran so it has absolutely nothing to do with that war at all?
the twists are getting complicated out there….
“…and the global intelligence system being quite happy with the election targeting of President Trump.”
This is the buried lead…I suspect diesel supply will remain constrained and price heavy.
I am so so so so sick of all the BS.
I guess the Euroweenies have not fulfilled their quota of casualties yet.
Hopefully the midget won’t be around much longer…

This war has been going on for 4 and a half years. What has either side gained worth even a tenth the cost in lives and limbs of the troops, on both sides?
one side has gained plenty: defended their strategic border against massive incursions, killed millions of nazis, protected your own people, gained territory, and destroyed the bulk of western civilization’s arsenal.
The City of London (as well as the EU and the DSA-controlled Democrat party) no doubt want high diesel prices at least through the mid-term elections. Therefore, Lil’ Z will be provided with either a false flag operation, or some other excuse to continue applying pressure on the diesel supply.
How long before the Ukrainian dwarf uses his own drones to attack food convoys?
IF Putin felt the need he could turn off all the electricity in The Boarderland in a couple of hours. It is not difficult to take down a grid.

I too wish “we” just minded our own business and kept our front porch swept.
