Sometimes Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin just nails the issue in a way that is difficult for western voices to deconstruct. This is one of those examples.
Using the reference of the EU recently raising interest rates in an effort to lower energy costs, a seemingly disconnected approach that attaches energy policy to monetary policy, Vladimir Putin outlines exactly why the EU Central Bank approach is used. This is a really important dynamic to understand.
For a long time, Russia battled with the EU over the pricing process for oil and gas. Russia, specifically Putin, wanted to sell oil/gas to the EU based on production prices and fair profits.
Europe wanted to buy Russian oil/gas based on “market prices” which are manipulated by speculation and traders.
Putin doesn’t like this pricing approach because it artificially inflates the price based on speculation, trading and inorganic influences.
Instead, Putin always said the “market approach” makes your energy prices go up, even when production capacitary prices go down (productivity).
Producers can provide increases in energy volume at lower per unit levels just by turning a dial on gas volume. Why would Europe want to pay more, when the cost to deliver a higher volume lowers the per unit price. The EU never had a good answer, other than that’s just the way the ‘western market’ works.
Concluding the first day of his working visit to India for the BRICS meeting, Vladimir Putin answered a media question about the EU and used this reference to outline why the financial system of the EU is actually the underlying reason for their need to have conflict with Russia. This is really interesting.
Question: You have spoken at length today about the BRICS countries. I would like to raise a question concerning a nation which, though geographically more distant from here, is perhaps closer to you personally – Germany. As is known, elections have recently taken place in Saxony, where the Alternative for Germany secured a decisive victory. It appears a similar trend is emerging in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania as well. How do you view these developments?
President of Russia Vladimir Putin: I do not wish to, nor will I, comment on matters of the internal political developments currently unfolding in the Federal Republic.
However, there are points which merit attention in this context – and I will explain why. In my view, all that is now happening across Europe as a whole is the consequence of systemic errors committed by the so‑called West, or, to be more precise, by the globalist circles of the West, in the political, security and economic spheres.
Everyone is prone to mistakes. We, too, have made numerous mistakes, as has the wider world. Yet the difficulty for the globalist West lies here: following the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union, they perceived themselves as standing atop the “summit of Mount Olympus,” and evidently concluded that, firstly, they were permitted everything and, secondly, that they themselves were incapable of error. From then on, these mistakes began to accumulate and snowball.
In the security sphere – the meaning is clear. This has taken the form of attempts to put pressure on the Russian Federation, initially through the use of terrorists in the Caucasus and separatists, then via other methods, and now – by means of the neo‑Nazi regime in Ukraine. This process continues unabated.
At one time, we were included in the G8. Yet, as I have previously stated, this did not constitute full‑fledged membership. I saw this plainly and saw everything quite clearly. Although, on the surface, all appeared well and all the requisite words were spoken, in practice – I reiterate – they directly supported separatism in the Caucasus and sought to break up Russia. This is a matter of fact. Furthermore, today’s crisis in Ukraine was likewise instigated by them. These are persistent and recurring elements of pressure.
After all, we have repeatedly stated that NATO’s expansion eastward is unacceptable to us. Ultimately, they reached Ukraine. President Yanukovych was removed from office through a coup d’état. I am not now offering any assessment of President Yanukovych’s actions. There were, most likely, numerous mistakes, and probably grounds for the population’s discontent. Yet he was opposed to Ukraine’s accession to NATO. As soon as the regime was changed through, I repeat, a bloody coup d’état, the objective of pulling Ukraine into NATO was immediately set in motion, and this, in fact, became the root cause of today’s tragic events in Ukraine.
They, the Western globalist elites, bear responsibility for this, although they persistently seek to shift the blame onto us.
As for the economic sphere, the most pressing issue at present is, naturally, energy. This represents yet another area – namely, the economic domain – in which mistakes have been made. How many times did we discuss with them the necessity of maintaining our established energy relations? We supplied gas to Europe at a price of $150 – well, $180 dollars – per 1,000 cubic metres. “That is too expensive,” they told us, “we must switch to market pricing.” But what does market pricing mean?
Under our long-term contracts, prices were – and indeed still are – indexed to the price of oil and petroleum products, which are determined by market mechanisms. “No,” they insisted, “prices must be set on the exchange.” We warned them that gas is not a market commodity, or at least not a classic market commodity; this approach will yield nothing and your prices will only increase. And so, it has turned out: prices are now at 1,000 dollars or euros per 1,000 cubic metres. And they may well rise even further.
How, in fact, is the price of gas formed on the European exchanges? It is not determined by producers, but by exchange traders. Currently in Germany – as far as I am aware – the current objective is simply to fill the gas storage facilities to 70 percent capacity –the objective is of filling only to 70 percent.
Whether they will succeed in reaching this target remains unclear. The situation in the Netherlands is even worse. And why is this so? Those who engage in exchange trading are unconcerned with the technical condition of these storage facilities and the physical volumes involved. They believe that today, it is more advantageous to extract gas from storage that was purchased at lower prices, and as for tomorrow – well, we’ll see. This will result in prices rising not just to 1,000, but to 1,500. Thus, yet another mistake has been made, this time in the economic sphere.
I have heard, likewise, that in Germany itself, the current authorities claim to be following the course set by the previous leadership, and the name of Helmut Kohl is often invoked in this context. I was personally acquainted with Mr Kohl. I can state with certainty: he did not hold the views that the present leadership of the Christian Democratic Union espouses – he simply did not. I spoke with him when he was still Chancellor, and after he had left office, he visited us. He believed that the future of Europe, and of the Federal Republic, would be secured only if close, neighbourly, allied relations with Russia were maintained. We must complement one another, he used to say; only thus could the European civilisation preserve itself as an independent centre of intellectual and cultural strength, and, by extension, all that follows in the political and economic domains. Those were Mr Kohl’s words to me.
Yet today’s European elites adhere to a different perspective. They now seek to frighten their populations with a mythical Russian threat, purportedly dating back to the Soviet era. But such a threat does not exist, and never has. We do not threaten, nor do we intend to threaten, European countries – for what reason would we? No one appears to consider that we have no grounds for any conflict with Europe. All issues were resolved by the outcome of the Second World War. Moreover, all that transpired following the collapse of the Soviet Union was undertaken with the consent of the Russian Federation as the successor state. Any actions contrary to these agreements run counter to our interests and are inconsistent with the fundamental principles of international law and the UN Charter. That is the essence of the matter.
Nonetheless, they persist in this course, demanding certain changes. But what changes do they seek? Are they attempting to revise the results of the Second World War? To what end are they steering their peoples? Toward war with the Russian Federation? Now, they speak of contemplating the dispatch of troops to the territory of Ukraine. This would mean war with Russia. And I presume that European citizens understand what is unfolding. {SOURCE}
Speculation, exchange trading, market pricing, etc. these are the reasons why the EU is presenting an increase in central bank interest rates to try and lower energy prices. The central bank approach has nothing to do with the price of the energy (oil/gas) and everything to do with the financial markets speculating on the prices of oil and gas and profiting from the speculation/trading itself.
As noted by Russian President Putin, allowing hedge funds, financial interests and inorganic market forces to set the prices of an item disconnects that item from the economic principle of supply and demand. The prices that people suffer for oil and gas are being driven by the mechanisms set up by western financial interests. This is manipulative and creates pain on the consumer and the people who have to pay more.

Vladimir Putin–Free Market Genius!
heh
I ‘m glad he’s talking to President Trump regularly so the President can hear some truth, which is buried by the Swamp.
I think that you’re correct. These direct communications via Witkoff and Kushner have been eye-opening. Traditional communication via Foggy Bottom would’ve been watered down to meaningless. PDJT learned a lot from his first term – a trial by fire learning experience. President Putin has most likely educated him on a lot more.
I wish he’d give him whatever proof he has on the democRATS stealing 2020 before the midterms! He said more than once the election was rigged
Reminds me of my cat. She watched me wiggle a string back and forth in front of her. She refused to play the game. Finally, she stared straight into my eyes, reached up and smacked the hand holding the string.
Ah, well….🐈⬛
😍
Of course energy prices will remain high, thats how the globalists are attempting to turn the US population against PDT for the midterms
They will fail.
Hope springs eternal.
Would the unemployed German Volkswagen employees rather have Germany’s economy based on $180 or $1,000-15,000 per 1000cm, low-CO2-producing, gas energy ?
Is the intent of raising taxes supposed to discourage the unemployed Germans from buying stuff – thereby slowing the economy and lowering energy consumption? This will increase unemployment levels. How is this good?
To paraphrase others….”No one has ever lost a dime overestimating the gullibility of the American public”
so evident.
Now apparently coordinating with the Houthis.
100%
ah, but you don’t have to deconstruct anything if your people never hear the words in the first place. Look at how often that happens in the USA. I can’t imagine the volume of information that never ever hits the eyes or ears of the people within the EU.
Stalin and Mao never had it so good…….
I do not remember a Western politician speaking this frankly or eloquently.
We really do have problems.
He used well formed sentences. He did not yell. He seened polite. He seemed to state his opinion rationally, rather than only emotionally. He does not have green hair.
What kind of politician does he think he is?
Yes, and President Putin never once mentioned climate change, green energy or sustainability.
How can we ever take him seriously? /sarc
“What kind of politician does he think he is?”
He isn’ta politician in the current sense. He’s a leader, and the current batch of pols hate real leadership because it emphasizes how worthless they are.
That is the truth, they fear real leadership !!!
And fear leads to hate, hate exemplified by President Trump’s relationship to the media/left and to the EU leadership.
No tattoos or piercings either.
Because Western politicians are bought and paid for idiot muppet clowns doing what their big donors tell them to do.
Frankly, it’s disgusting and embarrassing.
Not to mention treasonous.
shhhhhh, you are not supposed to mention the T word.
You can see why they hate President Putin too, they’re jealous of him – just like they’re jealous of President Trump.
👍
I forgot to add knowledgable and understanding of complex systems.
Rubio.
Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin be right.
Putin nails it! The Western European political class are not, and have never been, Pro-Europe! They are globalists, seeking self-preservation of an elite class that continues to dine on Chateaubriand washed down with Château Lafite Rothschild, while they recommend bugs and milk from fartless cows for the common people, and they watch with vague, uncomprehending alarm as those common people boil over with rage at the destruction of their culture and way of life!
Raising interest in a time of inflation causes recessions which dampens demand. The EU is doing a great job of dampening demand without raising interest rates.
But they did raise rates just last week. They are bound and determined.
Our politicians are such whores, Whores!
…the finest money can buy! First rate! First Class! Top Shelf!
They seem to be for sale to anyone but the TAXPAYERS…
I call them the Congressional Crime Cartel.
“allowing hedge funds, financial interests and inorganic market forces to set the prices of an item disconnects that item from the economic principle of supply and demand.”
EXACTLY.
We have the best politicians money can buy, so they continue to allow it to happen.
Redistribution in government. Speculation in markets.
Necessary in limited degree, useful in larger amounts in occasional circumstances.
Cancer if they are allowed to take over; if the rules are manipulated for the benefit of the monopoly running the institution rather than the needs of the people the institution was created to serve.
Cancer because looters always think there’s an infinite amount of wealth to be looted, and that contrary evidence can be made false by killing enough messengers. “Our Socialism is only failing because it hasn’t gone far enough!”
If Sundance had not published this, I’m sure the NWT, WSJ and Wash Post would have published it in full, in order for their readers to understand The stzted Russian perspective. /s
A leader steeped in his country’s history as is President Putin…given how Russia has for centuries been the prize to win through terrible war and loss inflicted upon it by the same foes in the West who seem to believe they can accomplish what their predecessors did not…has the advantage.
The advantage over the Western EU globalists, filled with hubris, greed, and destestation of their own nations, who have learned nothing from theirs and have injuriously underestimated their designated, perpetual “enemy”.
Who is the “enemy”?
The man above who just demonstrated that he knows them and the corners they’ve backed themselves into far better than they will ever know (or understand) him or the Russian people.
Others in history have made the same mistake to their cost.
President Putin remembers.
Those who have pitted themselves against him do not.
And as before and on schedule, here comes winter.
🎯
Yes, and as winter mercilessly descends upon them, we shall see how President Putin responds when the lying, manipulating, hypothermic globalists come crawling on their frost-bitten knees and begging for heating fuel.
Not that I think he’s obliged, given their treatment of Russia, but I do feel confident he’s more inclined toward humanitarian compassion than they would be.
And he’s clearly more intelligent than they are.
They need energy and lots of it to fuel their war machines, Ma. Their devotion and obeisance to the god of Climate have already crippled them as we know watching their once great industrialized capabilities dissolve faster by the day. I’d call them “bipolar” in this regard.
Of course none in positions of power and wealth will suffer in the notoriously bitter winters, that’s a given.
Should the worst be arranged, an all out war which will see mandated conscription , it will be very interesting to see how angry populations react. And that is an unknown variable. Why on earth would anyone agree to be certain cannon fodder for those globalists who despise them and who have destroyed their nations through mass immigration?
Winter, Russian winter, defeated Napoleon and Hitler ultimately. Russians remember their dead who valiantly fought back and endured.
Whoever knows…perhaps winter once again will play its role.
I know, it’s so stupid it’s unbelievable.
Carney from Canada fits right in with them.
Retards!
As a sidenote, and to underline the relationship of the Ukrainian people with Mother Russia:
When Bonaparte ordered his French army to burn Moscow, it was the Ukrainian Cossacks that attacked, defeated, and chopped the French army to shreads over a distance of 200 leagues as the French army ran like hell in retreat…
The Ukrainian people speak the Russian language and consider themselves Russians… They simply want to rejoin Mother Russia…
Putin wanted to help the Ukrainian people and now is in the position of protecting the Ukrainian people as much as possible while doing enough damage to the Zelenskii war machine to end the war…
President Putin is the Good guy here… He will do whatever is best for both the Ukrainians and the Russian people….
I am in complete agreement.
Agree on his humanitarian compassion. He’s been working with (or his government has) Melania to effect the return of children caught up and separated in the war with their families.
EU/London needs war and any other crisis to fuel their economy. Sad truth that I wish more people could see. President Trump is a huge threat to them and their carnage.
Why does the EU want to go to war with Russia. They have spent 80 years playing defense why do they want to go on offense now?
The USA paid for most of the defense. They can see that PDJT knows that they use war and weapons as a means to steal from the taxpaying workers and he no longer wants to participate in the charade. They always need a bogeyman (Russa) upon whom they can blame all of the problems that they created. They also need the US military to protect them while they plunder from their taxpayers. They cannot afford to steal from their taxpayers AND pay for an actual military.
They are poking the Russian bear hoping to have the Russian bear respond with weapons so that the USA is allegedly obligated to get involved.
Obama and Biden in conjunction with other Cabal members were shipping as much of our military hardware as possible to EU and Ukraine…. because they knew Trump would more than likely be elected….. Then Biden emptied our SPR….. this crap was all planned out. Most people don’t know that Obama was also shutting down many military programs in his 2nd Term. My friend worked for one company that was completely gutted under Obama that provided massive amounts of Military and Aerospace parts…. and by one company I mean they had well over 50+ plants.
Could I ask, what company? I made rifled gun barrels for some majors.
Thanks and God bless,
Mike
If he wasn’t shutting down programs out right, him and his goons were sabotaging them.
I have heard once or twice about how the shipbuilding programs were not well managed by the leadership at the time from other old-timer shipbuilders at Bath Ironworks.
I they made a big mess of things for quite a few years.
Two important reasons:
First, no more national sovereignty. In order to dominate the world as planned, the New/One World Order aims to topple, or reset, the Superpowers. Russia is next up on deck. (I think they already got their noses under our tent, unfortunately)..
Secondly, the EU’s stupid energy policies have effectively bankrupted them, so they desperately need a war to recharge their economies.
Also, as you observed, the EU is “playing defense.” That is exactly what they’re doing: play acting. They always need a bogeyman to take the blame for all the problems they cause and now that bogeyman just happens to be Russia.
The opposite. The territory the west acquired by pushing east indicates they have been on offense the entire 80 years. They are only upset now because their offense has gotten stopped and reversed.
The EU DOES NOT want to go to war with Russia !!! They want Russia’s natural resources, but they don’t have the balls to go to war and fight for them….
The EU wants a war with Russia but they mistakenly thought their puppet zelenskii could sucker NATO to enter the war, thereby forcing the USA, a NATO member, to fight Russia for them…
If the Brits and Germans want to break up sparsely-settled russia to consume its natural resources they need, why do they think the russians would want the Brit and German resource-impoverished, high population geography?
His intellect was revealed to me in the interview he did with the traitor Tucker Carlson. for me It revealed a lot into his mindset and the way he feels about the country and his people. he and Trump are in lockstep there.
In addition to his usual measured and insightful way of speaking, I appreciate President Putin’s distinction between the West and the Globalist West.
I tend to think he views the the Trump administration as the former and Europe as the latter.
And I think he’s correct on all points included in his answer.
DW reports that David Petraus was with Boris Johnson when the drone hit a passenger train near the Ukraine / Poland border.
🧐🧐🧐
https://www.dw.com/en/ukraine-poland-say-russia-hit-warsaw-bound-passenger-train/a-79251428
And what exactly are these two up to? What offices do they hold?
That whole incident becomes suspect at this point…..false flag event? I understand the drone did not hit Johnson’s train but another train near it?
Correct and the media is making it sound like they all jumped from the train as it exploded.
Like Steven Seagal running through the train as it plummeted into a ravine at the end of Under Siege 2. I hope that Bojo recorded this with his phone as they sprinted down the train carriage and were rescued by a helicopter with rope ladder!
😉
So our President and Putin are the David’s against the globalist Goliath EU?
I’m trying to understand.
EU, using Ukraine to taunt Putin?
If they get Russia into more wars, then we lose a relationship with Russia?
Is that their plan?
Yes, Presidents Putin and Trump are the Davids fighting the Goliath EU…
EU using their puppet, zelenskii, in failed attempt to sucker NATO to enter the war with Russia, thereby obligating the USA, a member of NATO, to fight the war with Russia for them…
EU doesn’t have the balls to send their own men to die, they want the US to send our Heroes to die fighting Russia…
At this point in time, President Trump and President Putin respect each other, trust each other, and the USA’s relationship with Russia is stronger than ever…
Hopefully the end result will be the USA and Russia as Allies…
I could inject this kind of straight talk right into my veins…thanks for posting it.
My advice to Putin. 1 topic. State the points you want to make up front. Use far fewer words.
reckon you could do it better, Abe??
If there is any parseltongue in that response by Putin, it is very well hidden. At least as far as I can tell.
It is always interesting to see the rise and fall of the Brent futures. When people complain about gas prices, they don’t seem to understand that the price is not based on production, but on speculation.
hasn’t been much production of Brent in the North Sea for several years… Don’t know why the speculators continue to use it as a benchmark because there is plenty of light sweet crude available from several other places…
Just like the Dow Industrials. It really has no relevance to the modern market but that’s the quote that gets reported.
They use it because it is London’s vehicle to manipulate WTI (which often tracks Brent) and therefore elections in the USA.
They can demonize and bogeyman Putin all they want but they can’t dispute the logic, facts and history behind the EU & the war in Ukraine.
I’m so sick of arguing with neocon war mongers and establishment Republicans, who believe the western governments version of events and insist Putin poses a threat to Europe, the US and the world. These ignorant fools are wholly committed to supporting our NATO allies, regardless of their actions, rhetoric, loyalties and culpability for the conflict. They are willing to risk a potentially nuclear WWIII and the destruction of everything America First, in an absolutely disastrous to confront Russia directly.
Such a tragic mistake is exactly what the western global elites want. But you simply cannot tell these people otherwise. They’ll argue all day that Russia is solely at fault, there was no color revolution, the CIA is comprised of nothing but dutiful patriots, that Ukraine joining NATO was never a red line etc.
Despite knowing the truth Russia didn’t hack the DNC Server and send it to WikiLeaks, Russia did not meddle in our elections nor meaningfully impact the 2016 Election, the Russian Collusion allegations were proven to be false, etc.
The fools cannot even pick up on the pattern- western governments are lying to us, especially in regards to Russia.
I pray Trump finds a way to prevent it from happening. I fear he’s surrounded by snakes and traitors nonstop, all feeding him information/false intelligence etc, designed to force us in though.
I think President Trump is much smarter than the snakes and traitors surrounding him. He makes ‘check’ moves that they, in their hubris, never see coming. And the tables quickly turn.
If he is as brilliant as I think he is, MAGA and the free world will easily survive his presidency. This is his legacy: Transparency. Once we see that wizard hiding behind the red curtain, it’s all over but the clicking of ruby slippers:
There’s no place like MAGA..
There’s no place like MAGA..
There’s no place like MAGA!!!!
I don’t think anyone could describe the reasons why we have “World War Redditt” in plainer terms than what President Putin just articulated.
Western propaganda and a dumbed down populace help keep the lies alive.
Globalist douchebags will destroy the free world if we let them.
Democrats and their Cabal make things expensive whilst in power….. because they can just Print more money for themselves…. prices don’t matter…. that’s the same thing going on with the EU Cabal. They don’t care about high oil, etc….. they just print more Pounds, Francs, and Euro’s for themselves while the people suffer.
Meanwhile, Trump continues the process of breaking up OPEC and birthing a real free market in energy.
I really am getting so much more than I voted for!
President Trump has correctly identified that the world’s money no longer resides in, or flows through, London but rather NYC, Shanghai and Dubai. Why London still carries any meaningful
weight is only a result of legacy institutions clinging to former influence and affluence. Those institutions have either atrophied or been out maneuvered by more aggressive ones.
It’s still called LIBOR.
(London Inter Bank Overnight Rate)
LIBOR no longer exists. Stay up to speed.
Perhaps no country in the world has been as poorly managed in this century as Germany. And the competition for that honor has been particularly intense.
It’s wild to me how easy it is to destroy the glo-bull-ist narratives. When you go right at the news/political actors with reason and logic, they either scream Nazi, Racist, yada…yada…or just run.
I love it, I’m glad our Great American President Donald J Trump and President Putin are speaking, there is hope for the world.
When Brett Bair is quoting this on Fox News you can say the public is informed.
Don’t hold your breath.
Putin teaching European leaders the extant economic realities – imagine that.
Looters and moochers, always looking to rip off the producers. Rent seekers, running a system designed to extract maximum profit from every exchange instead of trading value for value.
Russia would be a better economic partner then the EU and Commonwealth nations.
“ Yet the difficulty for the globalist West lies here: following the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union, they perceived themselves as standing atop the “summit of Mount Olympus,” and evidently concluded that, firstly, they were permitted everything and, secondly, that they themselves were incapable of error. the reference to classical Greek mythology is exquisite – the western elites see themselves as gods.

a statement of such shattering frankness, spoken from first person knowledge,
that germany cannot defend.
PP has evidently decided to go balls to the wall in his public comments now.
i’d like to think that President Trump had a little something to do with that. 😉😁
something’s up…
oh, pish posh to the font change -i don’t even know how i did it! 🤣
sorry!🙂
Fascinating.
I want/welcome a complete restoration of US/Russia relations and the ending all sanctions on Russia! JMO
Brilliant, absolutely spot on, fascinating and so far beyond and above and deeper than any western politician’s off-the-cuff comments to the media. So interesting what he said about Kohl. I cannot get enough of Putin’s perspective. I so wish the U.S. and Russia would blow the minds of the worthless, feckless EU “leaders.” Catherine the Great … what a woman. What a history.
Thank you so much, Sundance.
What this really boils down to is that the availability of cheap energy in Europe is in direct contradiction to the political desires of those in power in the EU. There could be no push for green energy if Russia is allowed to sell oil to European nations at prices which make the green energy uncompetitive. The entire need here is to artificially drive up the prices for Russian oil to force green energy down the throats of Europeans. So, WAR!
W.E.F. THE GREEN NEW WAR.
Pres. Putin has, in clear and direct terms, explained the history, the cause of tensions and corruption of the relationship.
I admit I only knew a part of it.
The EU will never accept their responsibility for it.
Thank you Sundance.
Nor will the IC.

It’s about time everyone here learn about the market manipulations of the British Imperial system, as directed by the banks, financiers and insurance moguls of the City of London!
WEF/Globalists , they have been the true DeepState trying to run the world since 1865, when they assassinated Lincoln, running through and over other assassinated POTUS’s (Garfile and McKunley) who tried to defy them on behalf of the American Sytem, espoused by Alexander Hamilton!
Britain has NEVER been America’s friend since we threw the bastards out after Yorktown! To the contrary of establishment historians, the Russians have been our far more consistent ally and friend since the beginning of the American Revolution!
Do NOT confuse the marxist Soviets- a British intelligence creation- with the Russian Nation! The Russians suffered far more under the Soviets, than anyone else ever did!
i’m still trying to understand why haven’t signed a pact with russia. seems like a win-win to me
