GERMANY – Volkswagen (VWAGY) has agreed to sell its Osnabrück plant in Germany to Israeli investor Aurelius Capital and the state of Lower Saxony, paving the way for the factory to shift from car production to defense manufacturing.
Vehicle production at the plant is scheduled to end in summer 2027. Aurelius would become the majority owner alongside Lower Saxony, with the aim of preserving the site and a large part of its workforce.
The new owners plan to develop the site gradually into a competence center for security and defense solutions. Aurelius and Lower Saxony are planning an initial anchor project with Israel’s Rafael Advanced Defense Systems in air defense, with further industrial partnerships and projects expected to follow.
The project could involve producing air-defense systems and components for Germany and Europe. About 1,400 of the plant’s 1,800 jobs could be preserved, according to labor officials. {source}

Providing missile defense capability (Iron Dome / Golden Dome) is an escalation? If only Europe was investing solely in defensive weapons! Instead, they are also producing offensive weapons, which are intended to be used to attack Russia.
Germany realizes that their actions are provocative, hence the need to beef up their defensive capabilities.
Why Israel? Who has more experience with anti-missile defense systems? They have been routinely attacked year after year for decades. No one has more expertise in this area of defensive technology.

In light of us demanding Europe contribute more to NATO on defense, and be much more responsible for their own defense than depending on the US……. Maybe this makes sense. After all, if they rise to those expectations, there’s no reason why they should be expected to buy weapons from us; no reason why they shouldn’t be making them themselves.

Why would Europe get Russia to cleanse Europe of its hundreds of millions of invaders? Because Europe CAN’T. And they know it. The whole world knows it.
