With respect to the fuel prices at the pump is interesting.
Gasoline prices at the pump have essentially flattened around a 25-50 cent per gallon band, with median price depending on the region where one resides. In Allen, TX the median is about $3.60/gallon for regular gasoline.
The real fuel cost driver is Diesel … which the financial Masters have kept on an upwards trend. This one hits EVERY PART of the supply chain with respect to prices the consumer sees at point of purchase. get a handle, somehow, on Diesel and prices as well as inflation will move downward.
I have seen diesel at $5.69 per gal in SoFL here in the last week.
Here in Collin County, TX … just North of Dallas, across 10 gas stations I pass every day … it’s $5.50/gallon and going UP.
$ 6.25 to 7.09 here north of Seattle thanks to our carbon tax 😡
