I was just looking through a social media site frequented by Germans and somebody posted about the AfD’s win here. The comments section was full of Germans downplaying it, grousing, insisting that AfD is a Russian puppet party, and other similar nonsense. They hate the invasion of third-worlders, but they still can’t connect the dots between the invasion and their backstabbing globalist parties. They sincerely believe that the “deep state” concept is strictly an American thing, and they never miss a chance to insult the US for it while continuing to support their corrupt bureaucrats.
