I don’t like doing this, but it needs to be done. People keep sending me this video; it is nonsense. Steve Bannon and John Solomon broadcast a conversation targeting John Thune, Tom Cotton and Todd Blanche for obstructing the release of transcripts held in the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI).
What Solomon reports in this interview is disconnected from the process that exists. Solomon wants the transcripts of former CIA Director John Brennan released. Fine, no problem. Except Solomon apparently doesn’t understand the process to gain declassification of an equity that is not within the executive branch. The transcript is in the legislative branch.
There are separation of powers issues, equity issues and stakeholder issues that create a process that needs to be followed. This is the same process that was used to gain the Michael Atkinson transcript from the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI). Solomon and Joe diGenova can follow the process and succeed, just like I did. Or Solomon and diGenova can gnash their teeth, create outrage and fail. WATCH (prompted):
This nonsense is why trusting John Solomon is a fool’s errand, and the reason why I have suspected Solomon of performance theater for several years. His teaming up with Steve Bannon, well, it just tracks.
Tick-Tock… Nothing. I digress.
First, assuming they have security clearances, John Solomon and/or Joe diGenova can ask SSCI Chairman Tom Cotton to let them read the Brennan transcript in the SSCI secured compartmented intelligence facility (scif). There is nothing stopping them, or anyone else with a clearance, from reading the transcript; assuming Cotton would permit it (he would). That’s the first point.
Second, after their review they can ask the SSCI to hold a senate vote to release the legislative branch equity to the executive branch, with a classification review that might need redactions based on stakeholder equity. [Same process as the Atkinson transcript]. The Senate can then vote to release it and start the process.
I am not a defender of John Thune or Tom Cotton; the exact opposite is true. However, you don’t defeat the silo system by attacking it at the point of their greatest strength. You obtain the material by following the process and forcing compliance with due diligence [just like the Atkinson transcript].
There is a separation of powers issue. The transcript belongs to the legislative branch, not the executive branch. The executive needs to request it from the legislative. Then it needs to be reviewed by IC stakeholders (ODNI and CIA) for classification review and/or redactions. Then it is returned to the SSCI who determine how to release it – from their own committee or to the DNI for release.
In current disposition the President cannot declassify something the executive branch doesn’t have.
As to the substance of Solomon’s previous release, the “Oxferd C0mma” documents, as I said last night nothing about that release is substantively new.
FBI General Counsel James Baker testified in two sessions to the House Intelligence Committee. In the second session transcript (released by Doug Collins – READ HERE) James Baker notes the 2nd FBI investigation was planned *BEFORE* FBI Director James Comey was fired. When Comey was fired, the optimal window to open the investigation was created for Andrew McCabe.
Rosenstein agreed to the plan, and “Oxferd C0mma” was triggered on 5/16/17. The objective of the EC signed by James Baker contained spurious and obtuse evidence in text because the real goal of the FBI/DOJ was to open a Special Counsel investigation. In essence, Oxferd C0mma was the placeholder for Mueller.
The group talked about the plan before Comey was fired. Comey’s termination simply triggered the timing. All of this was known nine years ago, that’s why to CTH readers none of this is new.
Those who did the deepest dives knew the investigation that opened 5/16/17 was planned before Comey was fired, and Comey’s termination was just the trigger window of the process to deliver Mueller… which was really what “Oxferd C0mma” was about.
Additionally, James Baker -who signed the EC- testified about the process to open the second investigation. It’s in his day #2 transcript. The firing of Comey just triggered the best window for the investigation they already planned.
So, yes “Oxferd C0mma” is new to people like John Solomon, but old news for those who did the research at the time. Again, go read Baker’s testimony (link above).
You will note the Oxferd C0mma investigation was triggered on May 16, 2017:
[SOURCE]
This was the exact same day when Rosenstein took Robert Mueller to the White House.
Through a FOIA request Judicial Watch received Rod Rosenstein’s email communication around the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller [See Here]. The content further confirms when Rosenstein took Mueller to the White House on May 16th, 2017, the purpose was for Mueller to preview his target, President Trump.
Rosenstein took Mueller to visit Jeff Sessions on May 13th, the specifics of that email likely concern keeping prior private conversations out of the discussion with Sessions.
If we insert the Rosenstein email conversation into our timeline, the picture is clear.
Perhaps the most important aspect is how DAG Rosenstein took Robert Mueller to the White House on May 16th, to interview President Trump. The decision to appoint Mueller as special counsel was predetermined prior to the White House visit:
♦James Comey was fired at approximately 5:00pm EST on Tuesday May 9th, 2017. The next morning, less than 15 hours after Comey was fired, Rosenstein contacted Robert Mueller about the special counsel appointment.
During the congressional testimony of Robert Mueller, Representative Andy Biggs noted evidence of a phone call between Mueller and Rod Rosenstein on Wednesday May 10th, 2017, at 7:45am.
From the Judicial Watch FOIA release, we can see that following the 7:45am phone call Rod Rosenstein received contact info from Mueller’s asst (8:09am), and Rosenstein emailed his assistant at 8:13am with instructions to contact Mueller’s asst and set up a meeting for Friday May 12th:
Marcia Murphy, from the Office of the DAG, then followed through and set up a meeting for 8:00am, Friday May 12th at Main Justice, between Rosenstein and Mueller:
Following that May 12th 8:00am meeting with Mueller, Rod Rosenstein then met with Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe Andrew McCabe. – According to McCabe:
… “[Rosenstein] asked for my thoughts about whether we needed a special counsel to oversee the Russia case. I said I thought it would help the investigation’s credibility. Later that day, I went to see Rosenstein again. This is the gist of what I said: I feel strongly that the investigation would be best served by having a special counsel.” (link)
Later that night (May 12th), at 9:15pm Rosenstein then emails Robert Mueller: “I assume you realize the boss and his staff do not know about our discussions.”
That email is directly related to a meeting scheduled on Saturday May 13th between Rosenstein, Mueller and Jeff Sessions; which is confirmed in the Andy Biggs questioning.
♦Sunday May 14th – Comey transmitted copies of Memos 2, 4, and 6, and a partially redacted copy of Memo 7 to Patrick Fitzgerald, who was one of Comey’s personal attorneys. Fitzgerald received the email and PDF attachment from Comey at 2:27 p.m. on May 14, 2017, per the IG report.
♦Monday May 15th, McCabe states he and Rosenstein conferred again about the Special Counsel approach. McCabe: “I brought the matter up with him again after the weekend.”
On this same day was when James Rybicki called SSA Whistleblower to notify him of Comey’s memos. The memos were “stored” in a “reception area“, and in locked drawers in James Rybicki’s office.
♦Tuesday May 16th – Per the IG report: “On the morning of May 16, Comey took digital photographs of both pages of Memo 4 with his personal cell phone. Comey then sent both photographs, via text message, to Richman.
Back in Main Justice, at 12:30pm, Rod Rosenstein, Andrew McCabe, Jim Crowell and Tashina Guahar all appear to be part of this meeting. I should note that alternate documentary evidence, gathered over the past two years, supports the content of this McCabe memo. Including texts between Lisa Page and Peter Strzok:
[Sidebar: pay attention to the *current* redactions; they appear to be placed by existing DOJ officials in an effort to protect Rod Rosenstein for his duplicity in: (A) running the Mueller sting operation at the white house on the same day; (B) the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel, which was predetermined before the Oval Office meeting.]
While McCabe was writing this afternoon memo, still May 16th, Rod Rosenstein took Robert Mueller to the White House for a meeting in the Oval Office with President Trump and VP Mike Pence.
After six days of phone calls, emails and in person meetings, this visit to the White House was clearly Rod Rosenstein introducing Robert Mueller to the target of the investigation. Rosenstein already knew he was going to appoint Mueller; and Mueller, along with the small group in the FBI, already knew Mueller was going to be appointed.
Later that night (May 16th), following the Mueller visit, there was a debriefing session back at Main Justice. This evening meeting appears to be Lisa Page, Rod Rosenstein and Andrew McCabe; along with Tashina Gauhar again taking notes.
♦ Wednesday May 17th, 2017: Rod Rosenstein and Andrew McCabe go to brief the congressional “Gang-of-Eight”: Paul Ryan, Nancy Pelosi, Devin Nunes, Adam Schiff, Mitch McConnell, Chuck Schumer, Richard Burr and Mark Warner.
… […] “On the afternoon of May 17, Rosenstein and I sat at the end of a long conference table in a secure room in the basement of the Capitol. We were there to brief the so-called Gang of Eight—the majority and minority leaders of the House and Senate and the chairs and ranking members of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees. Rosenstein had, I knew, made a decision to appoint a special counsel in the Russia case.”
[…] “After reminding the committee of how the investigation began, I told them of additional steps we had taken. Then Rod took over and announced that he had appointed a special counsel to pursue the Russia investigation, and that the special counsel was Robert Mueller.” (link)
Immediately following this May 17, 2017, Go8 briefing, Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein notified the public of the special counsel appointment.
According to President Trump’s Attorney John Dowd, the White House was stunned by the decision. [Link] Coincidentally, AG Jeff Sessions was in the Oval Office for unrelated business when White House counsel Don McGahn came in and informed the group.
Jeff Sessions immediately offered his resignation, and Session’s Chief-of-Staff Jody Hunt went back to the Main Justice office to ask Rosenstein what the hell was going on.

FOIA Info – Archey Declarations

It is sad so many people still refuse to see the strings, the games being played, to placate the people, to get people to believe something is actually being done, and will in the end accept the strongly worded letters as if real representative democracy is happening.
Thank You Sundance for staying on this and continuing to show people the ugly.
Sundance knows the details of this stuff better than anyone in the media.
Sundance knows the details of this stuff better than EVERYONE in the media.
Sundance knows the details of this stuff better than the perpetrators who actually COMMITTED these acts, and then spent years trying to hide them.
And yes, Sundance backs it ALL up with info available to others in the media who can’t or WON’T report on it.
Thats why I’ve read Sundance’s work for ten years now.
How do all of these “professional reporters” and “insiders” IN WASHINGTON DC never get all the details right like a guy in Florida, FAR from DC, does?!?
“Thats why I’ve read Sundance’s work for ten years now.”
same same. mega ditto
ditto
Solomon and Bannon like clickbate.
Solomon and Bannon ARE clickbait…
They also feed into the horoscope people following the so called “Q codes”.
It’s been 10 years for me, too … every since he was basically the only media figure who always insisted that there was no doubt that Trump would be elected
Nobody was as certain about this as SD
Spot on, I’ve been reading CTH for at least 13 years….my higher education continues happily.
10 years here as well 2016 I started with this rag tag bunch checking out every morning daily. In fact I look forward to it my first daily duty. God bless you, Sundance for all you do. I do pray for you quite often.
I thought about this news overnight, before commenting here.
Sadly, I agree with SD.
Because Team Bannon has built the only “broadcasting network” for our side, we need to not give the other side ammo to discredit us.
When “the best investigative reporter” (according to RAV network) makes such a huge blunder as this, obviously destroys our side’s credibility.
We need to uphold the standards of accuracy.
Credibility helps when we challenge election mal-administration, challenge clot-shot mandates, etc.
Captain Obvious, signing off.
Truth does not care about our feelings. It also does not hurt our feelings. It just sits there, being objective Truth.
Please never apologize for telling it. ❤️
Solomon and Bannon seek to manufacture outrage for the clicks and money.
Solomon is a spook with a sketchy background.
Bannon is Naval Intel.
This is deeper than clicks and money.

👍
Interesting. That other famous muckraker, Bob Woodward, was also Naval Intel before he became a super-dooper cub reporter for The Washington Post…
I’m still cracking up over their “freight train of audits” nonsense after the 2020 steal! What a bunch of duplicitous clowns!
Sounds like the definition of a journalistic prostitute!
Haven’t watched Bannon for such a long time and don’t feel like I have missed anything…other than a lot of empty promises that never came to pass!
John Solomon, just like Sean Hannity, screams IC in every tick tock story he pushes, with his “hail fellow, well met” schtick that should fool no one but somehow manages to dupe millions of people…
I think the saying is “HALE fellow, well met” .. IOW, a man of substance, well met
It’s a description of a person, not a greeting
All the dictionaries I viewed, show that it is, indeed, “hail fellow, well met”.
On his show, after pronouncement of awful news,, he and Amanda would sigh and go on to next story. Sheesh
Sounds kinda cheesy and corny, doesn’t it?
LOL. Put Dan Bongino in the same bucket of sheet.
What a clown show.
To bad it damaged the nation and side tracked Trump first term.
Such detail, dates and times down to the minute…
I swear unbeknownst to the corrupt saboteurs, arsonists, and treasonists,, Sundance was the proverbial fly on every wall it seems.
“…the investigation that opened on 5/16/17 was planned before Comey was fired…”
So like the Patriot Act, pre-written prior to 9/11, shoved in a drawer under lock and key, just waiting for that “propitious” moment?
Timing is all, and makes those deep recesses in the bowels of government in need of more blinding sunlight and industrial quantities of bleach. Roaches everywhere we look…
I am past surprised.
Confirmation that the Augean Stable is much bigger than perhaps any of us imagined.
….I’ve never liked Solomon’s face or demeanor. Too slick by half. I suspect a handshake from him would count for nothing.
And count your fingers after…
And the silverware.
Has chubby little squishy hand would be warm feeling like a little squishy fish yuck thanks for the terrible visualization today. lol you have yourself a wonderful day.
You had better instincts than me, Betsy….I thought the guy was legit and an outlier as an investigative bean spiller….hit my radar with a strong signal right around the time he launched his own gig….Then as I started seeing SD making illuminating, less than flattering comments about him, I started to look more closely and began to see the camouflage more clearly….
Seems to have happened A LOT in recent years with a of myriad pundits….SD (& CTH) have stayed in the rotation for all the right reasons…..
First impressions are often…but not always… correct, Clayton. That was mine. It was strengthened by the many times Hannity had him on; and I’d already sussed Mr Tick Tock out. Birds of a feather.
But I hate to misjudge; and so, like you, seeing our erudite landlord was expressing the same sentiments simply confirmed that that small voice of mine was right in the first instance.
Who can we trust?
Single digit numbers and names. The rest took that precious virtue and time after time ground it under their heels until they’ve forfeited every scintilla of it.
And that’s a truly terrible and disconcerting state of affairs.
In other words, our currency says it all…
In God We Trust.
Knowing with unwavering certainty that it will never be betrayed. Amen.
Yes, all worms and no apple…
So much bigger Betsy!
And the damage of the “information” spreads distrust in a system that has none to begin with.
Trust lives in a nation of long ago, sis.
Destroyed.
No more.
Sundance, this is not the first time Solomon has tried to grab the news.
We learned in the past.
ty
God Bless 🙂
<Sundance, this is not the first time Solomon has tried to grab the news.>
That’s why I call his website:
‘Just The Noise’ 🙂
perfect ,,,,,
Home run! No, that’s a grand slam!
Sundance you are the best. Thank you for providing us with truth.
I stopped watching Warroom many months ago because I felt something was not quite right. It is the same old stuff over and over again. Just like Tucker and others it became evident he had an agenda.
As for John Solomon, I never really understood why he is so greatly admired. From my perspective he always goes to the waters edge with a story but never clearly gives complete information. One is always waiting for the complete substance.
Just my opinion of course and I know many others here admire these two greatly. I would never try to change their mind because, at least with Bannon I was once a fan also.
Same here, CTHfan. I used to spend time watching these two and something just didn’t quite seem right. There was always this slither of doubt that lingered afterwards, like a bad aftertaste from eating a slice of Minnie’s $h!t pie. (from “The Help”)
What or who empowered Rosenstein to take such a bold strike at a sitting President?
What or who empowered Rosenstein to take such a bold strike at a sitting President?
The fatso in the dark blue tie to his right – up there in the photo?
Wild guess of course.
0.o
The same power that planted Rosenstein into President Trump’s inner circle also empowered Fauci to “take down” President Trump!
Satan?
Yup.
Starts with an O. Ends with a Bama
Jeff Sessions had already stupidly recused himself in March 2017 over anything to do with the Russia BS, leaving Rosenstein in charge of those things he could no longer touch.
Back in 2016/2017 President Trump was still new to the ways the entrenched DC crowd plays the deceit game and was surrounded with bad advice from people he thought he could trust. In hindsight he should have fired Comey on inauguration day and should have fired Sessions the day he recused himself.
Obviously there is a Mafia running the United States Government and they had planted a dozen of “Rosensteins” into President Trump’s inner circle to sabotage him.
What makes you think they haven’t done it again now? 🤔
Nothing.
The question is who are the “Rosensteins” planted into President Trump’s inner circle now? 🙄
The answer is probably the ones responsible for the decisions made that run counter to MAGA!
TCH is the only site I continue to have faith in finding TRUTH. Although the Promethean Action folks are rising on my trust meter. Bannon, Owens, Prather, Tucker, etc. all podcast for money. They all advertise coffee, financial serviced, supplements, etc.
Mind you I have nothing against these folks making money but I always look at them to see whose agenda they are pushing. Sundance is one of the few who is focused on solely the TRUTH and well deserves the donations he collects.
Tucker Carlson, Megan Kelly, Piers Morgan, and other podcasters work with Red Seat which is owned by Fox News. In other words, they appear to be independent but still work for Fox/Murdoch. Sundance mentioned this a while back and I had to look the name of the company up.
” well deserves the donations he collects”
That reminds me….thanks.
Thank you for clearing that up at least for me!
Looks like I can at least trust Tom Cotton a little bit? Right?
Cotton is playing his part, trust not even a little bit!
I actually don’t think so..if I remember correctly, he was also at Sea Island.
It feels like we have had a constant stream of these people. Pretending to be on our side. Pretending to deliver scoops. But in reality setting us up with falsehoods, plans destined to fail.
Again and again and again.
Hence SD coining “Battered Conservative Syndrome” way back in the “Hot Air” Era of this crazy show we all are obsessed with!! <3
They are easier to spot when you note they are the loudest voices in the room on the manufactured crisis. Trans, abortion, immigration, school shootings, etc..
They pound the podium, call out their GOP colleagues for their sins and most telling…. they just ignore, tsk tsk or have meaningless arguments.
They skip past meaty, meaningful, informative details on the really important issues, where billions would lost by TPTB or where they should go to jail.
Benghazi, election fraud, COVID. Etc, etc, etc. They tell us what’s already out there and then cut to whatever the manufactured rage d’jour is.
Jim in TN said, “It feels like we have had a constant stream of these people…”
And that is why “term limits” is not some kind of singular solution to the issue.
Six different stream-occupants can control a Senate seat for 36 years.
Changing who’s sitting in the seat is not an automatic fix.
Haven’t listened to bannon since he had steve Cortez back on his show after the De Santis Presidential race fail- who Cortez supported over Trump.
Bannon is basically a Sea Island class dude, imo.
Ditto same Tiffthis, Gosh I miss Limbaugh even though I had frequent disagreements with his schtick!!
“This nonsense is why trusting John Solomon is a fool’s errand, and the reason why I have suspected Solomon of performance theater for several years. His teaming up with Steve Bannon, well, it just tracks.”
IMO both are addicted to the attention, just like Mr. Fauci. They seem to have a propensity for outlandish claims & notoriety for “click-bait” purposes.
ALL of this, every word of this, was not only known about, but could have been investigated YEARS ago. What changed? Voter fraud needed covering up. So did Medicare, Medicaid, and SNAP fraud. So much fraud it would take many paragraphs to list. Congress needed a way to hide from the public that has been their hands robbing taxpayers the whole time, hence several distractions have popped up.
Who recommended a Deep Stater like Solomon to Trump anyway? How much time wasting, worthless crap must he spout before people catch on to him?
Right, Solomon is bottom rung, especially compared to Sundance.
That’s a key question.
We know the IC doesn’t want our President to have Sundance’s information….God please help our President see the scam.
“…but I didn’t know until this day that it was Rosenstein all along ” Don Corelone
that was exactly my first impression when Sundance first formalized his research into meaningful links between rosenstein and the entire coverup..and even before perhaps his own knowledge directly that Brennan was involved in the counter intelligence operation that was manufactured to create the Russia hoax that would be the predicate to spy on and then discredit OUR CHAMPION.
It does seem like a long time ago that Sundance was in the fight early, way early before anyone else had the moral intellect to get to the truth and write it down..with facts, patterns and evidence to support that truth.
it’s shameful, and frightenlinglt tragic what has happened to investigative journalism in the United States, and around the world. It’s like something profound was ripped out of the human body writ large…probably the most important organ that human beings can be….curious about how to get to a truth and then have the courage to publish.
Some of you might have wondered why or how I got involved in becoming a fellow treepers, so let me simplify it.
WikiLeaks…Julian Assange. In my opinion, the literal gold standard of journalism. you expose corruption by publishing the actual documents, communications that demonstrate that corruption has happened, not allegedly. And how do you do that?
well, some people say, you steal the information…no heresay…no second or third party info….you literally print stolen secrets…maybe stolen suggests that this is criminal. But when your really get down to the truth about journalism…it is secrets that are the commodity that makes the truth impossible to ignore. WikiLeaks never published opinion..or even research based fact pattern craft. Nope..they figured out a way that insiders could leak or hack into private and otherwise secret communications and then they printed it. completely…leaving nothing out. everything..
that IS literally the gold standard of journalism…there is no salt…no veneer…no weird missing pieces..no selective reporting..no room for bias. You read it…you test it for truth…then you determine if this is something that makes you change your mind about the so called officials or leaders and central state actors who have not been honest dealing with truth. That was the point of wikileaks..to break down the wall that legacy media/news had established. They had grown soft and would not imagine printing stolen truth…truthful records that show corruption, lies. they might publish some pieces of it, but mostly to achieve a limited hangout or to manipulate the narrative with excessive opinion to sway the reader to accept one particular view and at the same time refusing to allow the reader to see the entire report and facts…so the truth isn’t only distorted, but it’s done intentionally..to damn those whom they do not support, and to praise those they do…and at the same time to assume the role of gatekeeper and managers of information/propaganda/lies.
so when WikiLeaks began publishing…it was one moment in my life when I actually felt like there was hope that real change could happen…that THE PEOPLE might get motivated to become more informed…actually do their own due diligence and stop allowing the idiots on cable tell them how to think what to worry about and what to ignore. I thought it was the first steps toward a more open society where corruption would have a very hard time finding comfort.
but we know what happened to wikileaks…we know what happened to Julian assange.
so it was also a very hard pill to swallow. one day a hero and next the zero according to the same press…a hero for making bush look bad for covering up corruption…but a zero for making Hillary looks horrible. The legacy media was just as complicit in undermining what wikileaks had set forth to accomplish. a more free word, where corruption and very evil and conniving people would have a very difficult time continuing to cheat and steal and even murder to enrich themselves.
so I became quite despondent…depressed as some might call it. Angry, and a sense of complete hopelessness about the future of humanity…that truth was being targeted…that truth was the commodity…a commodity that could be controlled and well as long as the central state and the media cooperated in lock step. And that is exactly what we saw…and it grew and it expanded until we could not even see a slight different between a classic psyops CIA project and what the main stream maniacs were doing…and meanwhile you have the head of the CIA and Hillary Clinton and several heavy weight politicos across both parties in Congress who were saying out loud that they would be amenable to actually assassinating Julian assange. And even that they manufactured the threat. His crime was not theft…His ‘crime’ was really about exposing DC and it’s reprobates who got us all in the war with iran in manufactured lies…people who lied and made up so many lies to sell to the American people why we should send our young men and women in combat and die. And die they did. So many. and for what? and for what? that story still has not been properly and completely told in truth.
So I wake up one day…and I pray. I have to make a choice. I will either continue on and just accept as so many other have and did that “there is nothing I can do about this”. it’s just too big. The corruption to large. The criminal element to powerful.
OR, I could become unafraid and learn to accept that my own ego about fear is the worst kind of practice to make. Don’t be weak and do not be afraid. Learn what it means to find truth and to say it out loud, write it down, tell others. And find like minded people who do the same. Encourage each other. There is no hope lost when you pursue the truth. But hope is always lost when you give up trying to find the truth
and so I put a LOT of my own time and energy scowering the internet to find legitimate investigative journalists. I must have read thousands and thousands and thousands of different reports, journalists, whether “professional” or not did not matter to me. I needed to learn what “good press” looks like. What are the basic essential ingredients of reliable truth publishing sources?
It took me quite a while to realize that so very few journalists were even interested in doing these simple fundamental things with their “work”. That shocked me too. I realized that most of almost everything I read was opinion based with wild assumptions with nothing that could prove the thesis correct..or not. Conspiracy theory type work products…as they say, click bait. What IF…nonsense. not very useful if one is interested in learning the truth…and that should the intention of the press. to inform about facts and to dig into the stories and makes truthful meaning about linked facts. it’s actually very hard to do well. And that explains why I could find so very few who were even making a good try out of it.
in almost every case of every journalists I read, there as no date….no corrections when mistakes were made…even and especially those that are quite obvious…and that most of the articles dwell in the emotional tension to distill some kind of narrative that would trigger either a political pov (for votes and support and of course money), and reporters making obscene amounts of money through marketing and sponsors and with obvious political bias and agendas.
but then I find CTH, the last refuge. I read a few articles from Sundance. I notice something also very important. THE PEOPLE HAVE A VERY OPEN PERSONAL ASSOCIATION WITH THEIR FAITH IN GOD AND ARE UNAFRAID TO SHARE IN THAT FELLOWSHIP. At first, hmm…maybe this is just a small group that has printed some interesting notes about this and that. Then over time, I realize I am readig what I consider some of the absolute best journalism in my entire life.
Wikileaks had to steal it and publish it…I still consider that the gold standard of journalism.
but what wikileaks could not do, and never did was to put together a incredible amount of intelligence and integrity into writing what those facts MEANT. Yes, tell me the facts. But ALSO tell me what this means!
That is an entirely different skill set. Sundance is better at this than any I have read. After many articles it becomes very clear this is a person if considerable intelligence, a gift from God certainly, and focused and honest and humble enough to get past the usual egotism that taints so many other journalists’ work…and bravely unravels the a truthful meaning of what the information really means. And does this even though and especially if it’s not the kind of news that people WANT.
BUT NEED.
so that’s how I got here. I looked. I looked really really hard. I set my standard very high and only one met them and continues to meet them.
I appreciate and love you Sundance. You have made meaning out of the truth about the most important issues of our time.
AND THAT HAS MADE SUCH A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF SO MANY, like me who were close to just giving up after the WikiLeaks years.
I also appreciate that it was the truth that you reported that not just informed me, but challenged me to get off my ass and start participating in how to change my little tiny part of this world by informing others and showing them how to become active in ways well beyond just voting. The most effective way to ensure THE PEOPLE remain the source of power is that they believe that to be true and that every action they take can lead to ensuring that our central state, our society is subject to our approval or desent. There is no giving up. There is only the strength of good moral character and practice and telling the truth…even and especially when no one is willing to do that.
You have inspired many to do good things Sundance. And that has made a phenomenal difference. Our nation does indeed owe you are great debt of gratitude. I pray daily for your continued faith and good works.
God Bless America
Truth to power.
Sundance,
This helps so much. To recognize Bannon and Solomon as performative helps me understand the true depth of our complex media landscape. I also feel the Administration would be better served focusing on midterms at this time. If PDJT loses the midterms, the disclosure issue is moot. If we are talking about re-establishing PDJT as the effective leader of the GOP, he is better served picking a fight with Thune and passing the Save America Act.
Donald Trump deserves a re-do for his first term.
Right: Trump 28!
Hear Hear!
Exactly! We can see how he was never permitted to have a “first term.” This is his first term. He must run for a second one and I can imagine a way that this can happen. I hope there are preparations being made for this prospect. It is too soon to choose between VP and SOS, or anyone else, t continue the “Constitutional-Republic” efforts until four more years of steady progress has happened.
The Ratpublicans will never willing allow this to happen – they want him gone more than the democrats.
We need to find a way around all of the swamp mongers in both parties to save America.
I never thought that I would hate my party as much as I do now. A bunch of spineless, complicit cowards in cahoots with the DemoCommies, thus the UniParty thus the Swamp!
“Stealth Jeff” Sessions and Rat Redactenstein out at dinner having a laugh about the “rubes”.
I did not realize that hearing about and seeing a picture of Jeff Sessions, after all this time …… Would jump start a vomit. 😡
Try the veal, it’s the best in the city.
“you don’t defeat the silo system by attacking it at the point of their greatest strength.“
Unless of course, you are only PRETENDING to want to defeat the silo system. In that case, you would indeed attack it where you are most confident it will not fall to your attack.
I did not like it when it was announced on one of the AVO shows that Robertswasvsome kind of appt. in the White House. Self glorification is what he’s about.
If the IC and political traitors were more sophisticated back then, as they appear to be now, maybe JFK would have had a chance……
I never could understand why anyone who is even of average intelligence would spend any time watching the talking bobble heads.
I was so disappointed to see Higbie/Newsmax feature Soloman on his show yesterday. Heaping praise on him & being thrilled Soloman is part of Trumps team. Higbie is not the sharpest tool in the box, but even this is a low for him.
I remember how wrong Soloman was during Trumps first administration. How he lied and lead people to be complacent.
What a total loser and grifter he is!
Soloman is the useful idiot for some group/operation.
Sundance, Coffee and Covid has an interesting article on this from a legal standpoint. 2nd story he covers.
https://www.coffeeandcovid.com/p/articulate-nitwits-thursday-august
Read it this morning and thought “Hmmm. I guess some it it is seeing daylight.”
What is with all the shenanigans with Oxferd C0mma vs. Oxford Comma vs, Oxferd Comma?
Think it has something to do with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, where if one uses correct spelling the misspelled files will not be retrievable.
To thwart FOIA requests. Just like Comey and Corney.
Trying to avoid FOIA requests, I believe.
Thinkin’ there’s too many cooks trying to get into Sundance’s kitchen. Comments are getting longer than his articles and many people post over and over and its not all replies to others either. We are not grassroots. As MAGA, created by candidate Trump, its his policies and his actions we depend on. These people who insist on us being grassroots don’t understand the difference like Bannon for one. There’s too many people trying to divide us with labels and long winded posts.
After over 10 years here, I’m thinking that some of these “long winded posts” are people who think they are brilliant authors just using the venue to be discovered.
Ain’t gonna happen.
I’ve learned to do my own filtering by scrolling past any post that fills my monitor from top to bottom.
Learned some time back, when taking writing classes, the first paragrraph should tell you most of what follows so that’s more or less my reading before going on.
Even the first line 🙂 agree 🙂
Me too.
Maybe even shorter.
So much information here for us. Keeps us informed.
So shorter is best for me. To each his own tho :).
I have been doing that as well.
Bannon is just an opportunist and a grifter. Plenty of those on the right, or pose as being on the right to get clicks, etc.
Megan Kelly, Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens are all people who attracted an audience on the right to begin their grifting ways.
Bannon is to Breitbart’s legacy what Jessie Jackson was to Martin Luther King’s.
Solomon said they wouldnt turn them over to the Miami DOJ investigation now they have. Seems the heat worked.
Got a link you can share where you saw this information?
The grift stores are open!

Steven Bannon also has a merchandise store.

Maybe they can team up with one of the airlines so that shoppers can earn airline points with each purchase.
How could they not be reading here and learning??
Because they don’t want to !!!
Given the fact Solomon has in the past taken credit for SD’s work (Atkinson transcript) I’d guess Solomon lurks in the treehouse.
We see you John.
They’re all guilty as sin! What a snake pit! A pox on all of them!
Re-reading the timeline and names can’t help but continue to wonder if Nellie Ohr is still using her ham radio and are what is she and her were husband up to still in play and thinking the swamp sure was,
and is bigger than ever imagined it to be given we have mid-terms elections coming up and
we see the Republican leaders in the Senate doing everything they can to delay enacting anything the voters want and the members of House just keep on doing their kabuki hearings as if this time the outcome will be different
and none of these politicians are even trying to hide their obstructionism while pimping to the people to get re-elected.
Crazy world.
Bessie: Nellie Ohr was a fascinating supporting actress. My favorite is still James Wolfe. Just loved the “I will subpoena the whole SSCI if needed” play. And wouldn’t ya know “poof” goes the prosecution of the actual crime and they just get him for a “process” crime.
The Carter Page FISA was most certainly NOT his first leak. Love that his shnookims dumped him in short order. The old honey pot play. I am still convinced he is living on a giant boat in the Bahamas living off his gov’t pension and some of the off shore money I am sure the DS deposited for him to make him walk away quietly.
If only Sundances investigations could make it pass Susie’s cone of silence around DJT and he could read it for himself, I am pretty sure he would be beyond upset. In the mean time the TikTok Club presses on. I guess Bannon the Ron Popiel of the alternative news, guy cant go 10 minutes without trying to sell something, has taken the place of Hannity in the club.
But coming soon the WarRoom Rotisserie Chicken machine. Just set it and forget it!
Who in the Trump circle convinced him to invite Solomon into the circle of trust?
Steven Cheung would be my guess. He is very chummy with the PaidCasters™️ crowd.
Probably a dumb question, sorry Sundance – but are you saying Joe diGenova is part of the Bannon Solomon nonsense?
OK, it’s old news here? I don’t remember when I started reading but if what Sundance found is well before the mainstream got ahold of it, what now? Sundance can’t run to somebody and say “told ya so”.
What I have not seen before, Greg Kelley on Newsmax went through last night. He read from some FBI memo an outright political narrative justifying the Oxferd Comma investigation. I don’t remember ever hearing that the FBI had a problem with Trump influencing the RNC platform or that the FBI wrote about Trumps intent to fire Comey, as if it was illegal. The memo even noted PDJT commenting that after the DOJ recommended the Comey firing, Trump said he was going to do it anyway.
Greg highlighted the absolute political aspect of the FBI’s activity and the fact they actually wrote down that their sources were “open sources” aka CNN and that the memo was all things the FBI should never be discussing or using as an investigation basis.
The wording in what Greg highlighted corresponds with what Sundance says but I had no idea the FBI was so spitting mad because Trump fired Comey. I don’t know which memo GK was presenting but it sure sounded like they had a backup plan knowing Comey may get fired but when he actually did, the memo sounds like absolute panic with an unhinged political attack being the result.
Some here write about how Sundance gets ignored, or no credit, or can’t convince people of the validity of what he has uncovered. All true, but why Salomon now and not the Treehouse? Yes there is the deep state connections of JS but the general public doesn’t get that, they only get his reporting that is also parroted by other media.
I have gone to Solomon’s site maybe 6 times over it’s lifespan. He does have a business model that is more conducive to widespread publication(making money) and this whole thing is surely tied to making profit and getting attention. As good as it is, the Treehouse is disregarded and described as not credible by many ignorant people. I don’t know a way to change that.
“Conservative” media/influencers have a phobia about building on top of a narrative that Sundance has developed and spreading it.
“Not invented here” so we are not going to discuss it. We care more about our little fiefdom than saving the nation.
The left doesn’t have this problem. Of course they are mostly spreading bs but they amplify the message.
“There is nothing stopping them, or anyone else with a clearance, from reading the transcript; assuming Cotton would permit it (he would).” Yes, there is. It’s the second half of access to sensitive information: Need to Know. This is completely different than what is often being used as justification: Desire to Know. If one doesn’t have a demonstrated need to access the information, access can be (and normally is) denied.
So much critical information, so much avoidance of accountability. Worthless DOJ. Absolutely worthless.
The outrage media is a huge thing and it’s problematic. Not only television but Twitter where an army of people and bots send out incessant messages to rile up the people.
A U.S. Senate Resolution is necessary to release evidence of crimes to a U.S. Grand Jury? Hahahaha! Sounds like the foxes are guarding the hen-house to me.
Do they not know or are they pretending not to know. Either way getting truth/information out of government seems like pulling teeth.
Rudy Giuliani was offered AG first. He declined because he wanted SoS. — damn!
I’ll always hold it against Rudy.
I am so glad that I found this place.
Welcome… grab a limb 🙂
Yeah, but where is a copy of the memo appointing the Special Counsel? Isn’t that one important piece regarding the scope of the investigation or is it moot because we have all the corroborating evidence?
Every time I see or hear a bombshell report from John Solomon I take a nap.
Actually, there is precedent for the DOJ supoenaing the senate for documents…Iran contra and Watergate are examples. Yes, the senate can push back with separation of powers and speech clause and and this also has precedence. I think the point is, why would the GOP play hard ball…and I think that is the point SB and JS are making. BTW, just because one has the appropriate clearance does not automatically mean one can view all documents with that level of classification. There is a need to know requirement as well.
If John Brennan were a Republican, he’d already be in jail serving his sentence.
Unequal justice for all…Republicans.
Deliberative gov is working against the people. No chance any of this will be prosecutable within a time frame Patel, Digenova etc will ever get it into court.
So based on this, Jeff Sessions was screwed from day one and just said I am out of here. At least Trump got Jeff Miller out of him.
jeff miller, who?
Just for clicks for the grifters. The southern district of Florida grand conspiracy case has been silent. Maybe good things moving forward, or not.
They make a living off monetized media and online content.
Sensationalism is their game, the grifters.
Tick tock.
