There is a level of no-so-subtle pretense within this messaging from President Trump that is not good.
As noted in this Truth Social message, President Trump notes it is unlikely that people around Chairman Xi and people around President Putin would be providing military, logistics, targeting or weapons support for Iran for the same reason President Trump is not providing military, logistics, targeting or weapons support to Ukraine.
TRUTH SOCIAL – “President Xi, at our recent meeting in Beijing, China, told me that he would not, under any circumstances, give or sell Weapons to the Islamic Republic of Iran — And that statement included Chinese Companies. Considering our relationship, I take him at his word and, besides, l am doing him very big favors, also.
Likewise, President Putin, despite the horrible War going on in Ukraine (The relationship remains, as it does with President Zelenskyy), told me that he would not sell Weapons to Iran. He understands that I do not sell Weapons to Ukraine, but to NATO Countries. They pay full price, and how those Weapons are distributed, I have no idea.
Therefore, two major Countries that people speak of often in terms of Iran are, in my opinion, not participating. If they did, it would be very bad for them — Certainly not in their best interests. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” ~President DONALD J. TRUMP
I strongly doubt non-pretending Russian President Vladimir Putin draws a distinction between the U.S. sending drone technology and missiles to Ukraine -vs- the U.S. sending drones and military technology to NATO Germany for forwarding to Ukraine.
As a consequence, if China is sending weapons, tech or military support to Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Pakistan or Turkmenistan and that material ends up in Iran by proxy, then Beijing is doing nothing different than President Trump using France, the U.K, Poland or Germany to support Ukraine. Gentleman’s geopolitical handshakes notwithstanding.
At a certain point, each country has to evaluate their risk vector against the reality of a geopolitical dynamic being driven by U.S. interests that are not necessarily under the command and control of U.S. President Donald Trump.
The newly defined “unelected” political version of ‘western democracy’, represented by Brussels, Ukraine and the U.K, all of which have political leadership as an outcome of selection not election, creates very dynamic risks.
Things have changed rapidly in the past 15 years. Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin is very exposed to those “new democracy” risks as was Muamar Khadaffi before him. Remember, the attacks against Libya were a NATO operation, led by NATO Allied Commander General James Stavridis. Show me in either policy or practical reality where NATOs interests were threatened by Libya; yet NATO led the regime change attack. That’s why, in this context, I select 2012 as the modern origin of this new NATO unelected democracy building.
Bottom line – Is China or Russia providing non-weapon support for Iran? Well, if they followed the USA model in providing non-weapon support for Ukraine, the answer is it’s quite possible.
Perhaps this {{nudge, nudge – wink, wink}} geopolitical brinkmanship explains the not-so-subtle shift in USA and Trump’s policy support in favor of Ukraine. Whatever the cause, things are less stable than before, and we are stuck in Military depletion mode while operating intensely against Iran.
Remember, in our conversations at the Treehouse, we accept things as they are not as we would prefer them to be.

I have been doing the above for quite some time now!
So, why is Israel still calling the shots for the USA?
They aren’t.
For the last 13 days, has Israel been calling the shots? Unreal……..
Only in the figment of someone’s imagination
Trump wants peace. China and Russia don’t want war. If they are selling weapons to Iran they are stupid. The only winner in this game will be Brussels.
I took Trumps comment about selling to NATO as a threat that he could do it, not that he was. But what do I know.
Good grief! Sit down at the table and work this out!!
It would only be a threat if it wasn’t actually taking place. Pretty well known it is happening. The individuals who fervently disagreed with it were called trolls, bots, and whatever other name people on this site like to sling against those who don’t blindly follow. Now we are in a quagmire despite having a multi-dimensional chess player at the helm.
I get the point that it’s BS to sell weapons to NATO and then just shrug. But someone please explain to me what benefit China gets from proxy bombing the gulf states in the long run. They need the oil and we can take out Iran’s oil in a heartbeat.
And as for Russia, do they want to not only fight NATO but actively fight the US as well?
China and Russia need to Just stop!! There are no winners here, except maybe Brussels but an open war won’t go well for them either.
The US is NATO. Without us NATO will be irrelevant.
That’s true, but I meant Brussels as “those who got us into the Ukraine war”. Call them what you want – globalists, City of London, whatever.
I get our hands are not clean, but Trump is trying to achieve peace. Escalating the war to openly fighting the US is going to end badly for everyone.
But I get your point
I still believe Trump is doing what needs to be done. 47 years of congress renewing the EO Carter put in place in 1979 tells me the threat is real OR the kickbacks to the congress critters are real. Either way, he’s exposing the truth.
I believe what’s happening is the world is realigning, or being realigned, and the U.S. doesn’t like it because its ability to project and use power (as opposed to legitimate authority) as in the past is being diminished in the process. This process has been in the works since probably the mid-60’s/early 70’s, perhaps longer, so it has been a long time coming, relatively speaking. The lies are going to fly and many will swallow the arguments by their preferred side wholesale. Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
“China and Russia need to Just stop!! “
ok, sure. should the former republic of the US “just stop” as well, or is everything we do righteous?
Isn’t it fascinating that the only country to ever use a nuke on people and firebomb them to horrible deaths and destruction lectures others and tells them they can’t have one? Righteous indeed. Self-righteous.
I would suspect that the mentality and understanding of nuclear weapons is much different now than it was 80 years ago. I haven’t seen people set up lawn chairs to watch a nuclear blast recently. Have you?
I don’t think you fully understood my point. I agreed it’s BS. But Trump is threading a needle at home and there is zero benefit to China or Russia in escalating this to an active war against the US by their assisting in attacking our bases and ships.
No winners. Only exponential destruction and death.
And do you think if Trump “loses” the midterms that the congress won’t escalate assistance to the Ukraine?
…and undergo a 2 year long Impeachment, along with his Senior Advisor’s, Entire Cabinet, and MANY of us.
Guaranteed. GOP Senators will get promises of immunity to join in.
a proxy war for the benefit of the military industrial complex.
They are not impervious to the bombs they are making. This is getting crazy out of control!!

sums up President Trump’s Concerns in the 2 Articles above especially the second article – Both Excellent Reading
China’s commercial satellite constellations and Russia’s reconnaissance network are feeding Iran’s ballistic missile force the precision targeting data it needs to penetrate America’s most advanced air defense systems across the Middle East.
(DEFENCE SECURITY ASIA) — Iran’s ballistic missile force has entered a new operational phase in which terminal-phase maneuverability, dispersed launch doctrine, and foreign-supplied targeting intelligence are jointly eroding the effectiveness of the layered air defense architecture the United States and its Gulf partners spent two decades building at a cost exceeding USD 20 billion (RM80 billion).

Washington: Billions of dollars of additional funding for the US defence industrial base have not improved the production rate of Virginia-class submarines, a top Pentagon official says, casting further doubt on whether Australia will receive its AUKUS subs on schedule.
Austin Dahmer, a senior policy official at the US Department of Defence, told a hearing on Capitol Hill that while undersea forces were the decisive instrument in denying Chinese domination of the Pacific, they were also the forces the US was the least able to produce.
“Virginia-class boats have been delivering at roughly 1.1 to 1.2 a year since 2022, against a requirement of two to 2.33, counting AUKUS pillar one,” he said.
“Two per year is not now expected until roughly 2032 … The strategy is sound. Production capacity is the point of failure.”
The US Congress has approved billions in additional funding to build submarines, while Australia has tipped in at least $US2 billion ($2.84 billion) with another $US1 billion to come.
But Dahmer said the extra money had not helped.
“I would underline that Congress has already appropriated [funds] substantially, and the rate has not moved,” he said.
“Any recommendations that consist of more money without a mechanism to materially compress those timelines will not change the outlook.”
The comments underscore the practical hurdles facing AUKUS despite the political commitment from all three countries, and come as Australian Labor Party members prepare for a possibly fiery debate about the pact at their national conference in Adelaide.
Under the $368 billion-plus agreement, Australia is due to receive at least three nuclear-powered submarines from the US starting in 2032, before building a new class of the vessel, the SSN-AUKUS, with the UK.
The US has now clarified all three of the submarines it proposes to sell to Australia will already be in service, rather than new
“The parallel adoption of China’s BeiDou B3A military-grade navigation signal by Iranian missile and drone guidance systems, offering superior jamming resistance over legacy GPS-dependent guidance, compounds the targeting problem by improving terminal accuracy independent of the imagery pipeline.” <Defense Security Asia>
China providing state of the art drone/missile guidance systems to Iran seems to qualify as China supplying the IRGC with sophisticated weaponry IMO. Not sure why President Trump seems to be pretending this is not happening (or wanting us to pretend this is not happening).
It would be a shame if the satellites the Chinese & Russians aren’t using to assist the IRGC had some serious issues rendering them inoperable. It would be a shame if the Cargo planes/trains etc the Chinese/Russians aren’t using to supply weaponry to Iran also disappeared off the radar. It would be a shame if the Chinese/Russian military personnel not assisting the IRGC inside of Iran also mysteriously vanished. Nothing to see here, folks. Everything is “fine.”
It was reported, early on in Epic Fury, that Russia or the Chinese Commie’s, very quietly took out a couple of our Military Satellites.
I suppose turn-about is fair play. I believe, very recently, Treasury Sec Bessent finally started to target Iran’s Bordering Countries for any assistance they provide. IMO, they needed to lock down the entire country, when they initially embargoed Iran by sea.
Also, I continue to grow increasingly concerned that POTUS is NOT being effectively, “Briefed,” om ANY subject matter of importance, especially as it relates to US National Security Issue’s.
How in the Hell does he not know that Beijing/Tehran/Moscow Flghts, Rail Supplies have NOT slowed, let alone stopped? I have to believe that both Russia and China, also realize this, if I do.

Just Sayin’
That’s what I call an invitation to a conversation in Trumpian terms.
(edit: seeing some of the comments above, can’t leave it as a one liner. Trump tacitly accuses them of breaching their agreements, while “not”-admitting we’re making $ allowing the flow of arms used against Russia to continue; and the whole is asking them both what they would like to do about it cooperatively instead of how things are going now. Or, tl;dr, want to keep playing stupid cold-war games or trifurcate the world without the EU?)
You are probably right.
I like your take, much better than mine. PDJT’s, ‘Art of War’ Games are beginning to get under my skin, which is why I’ve begun to stop tuning in to his, Pres Gaggles and reading his Truth posts.
Colonization of (parts of) Iran, the death of at least 1/3 of their male population, and the USA charging protection money to Hormuz shipping and taking the oil and gas may be the only way we have to pay down our national debt.
Each year we spend over 2 trillion dollars on handouts to old people and brown people. It is politically untenable to cut these handouts for now, doing so would shatter the MAGA political coalition.
Yet we can’t afford to enslave our productive White male faction any longer; without them there is no America. We need another source of income: security.
We already guarantee safety of global shipping; let’s make it explicit.
“Colonization of (parts of) Iran”
I’ll bite. Colonized by whom?
I assumed he meant the USofA, very few people could handle the desert temps, as of this moment it is just over 100 degrees in the east and 90+ in the west…. but it is a dry heat at 10% humidity /s.
Looks comparable to Phoenix AZ to me.
Tho 3882+M26 Tabriz, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran looks like it could be quite nice year round.
.
.
“Each year we spend over 2 trillion dollars on handouts to old people and brown people.”
.
.
Well the illegal aliens need to be eliminated from the USofA by any means necessary & we need to bill Mexico for every one of them, including the ones they allowed passage thru their southern border to invade the USoA.
As for handouts for old people, my employers and I PAID for those “handouts”, the money should be in an account somewhere except the politicians STOLE it & left an IOU instead, so no interest was ever earned on a giant pile of money & politicians borrowed 39 Trillion more that the interest alone for 2026 is going to be 1 Trillion tho on the bright side 80% is held by USA households 20% foreign.
I know my brother always bought USA savings bonds since he started working in 1979… wish I had.
Brave AI
As of the end of 2024, the federal government owed approximately $2.7 trillion to the Social Security trust funds, representing the accumulated surplus that had been lent (interest free?) to the Treasury.
Social Security: Over its 90-year history, the program has collected $29.17 trillion and paid out $26.45 trillion.
So SS should be in the black but I know is upside down as less are currently paying into the system than those receiving benefits. That is where theft & long term interest compounding is missing and all for political purposes/expediency.

Excellent analysis. Thank you.
It’s laughable to believe Iran isn’t getting help from Russia or China. Putin and xi are not naive as Americans might want to believe. Great article. Always refreshing to get your perspective.
a few questions…specifically.
besides the US providing weapons, systems, surveillance hubs, intelligence gathering and analysis (with or without the AI Salt), what other countries are providing this kind of military support and coordinating roles.
it will be interesting to put up a list of countries that have sent money, weapons, resources, systems, and credit/loans to Ukraine.
How does it compare to the US?
Germany?
England
France
holland
Canada
Mexico
china
I wonder how this list would look like if we completed it. spoiler: in spite of all the talk to turn this war over to Europe and force NATO to underwrite this war, the reality is that the US spends more, sends more, gives more, loans more, supports more than any other country. A fact that remains true to this day.
combined the EU does not come close to the amount of money we have consumed with this Ukraine support.
also noting: if it has not happened, and it would be nieve to believe that it hasn’t already…there must have been some terms of this contract. the US under President Trump sure had better get something out of this deal. Like their oil and energy, drone tech, surveillance networks, energy deals to start working on about a dozen oil and natural gas pipelines across Ukraine and into europe…that is the big ticket deal. Hope we just didn’t spend the next generations treasure chest and not have something for them to make them whole as the dollar has devalued significantly. There is a cost…and we cannot just pretend it isn’t real.
God Bless America
Tousi TV, which does excellent work on YT, giving updated news about Iran, often coming from within Iran itself, has today advised that the Chinese have admitted that they initially were sending defensive military systems to Iran, and apparently today indicated that they would be sending offensive systems as well.
A MUST follow. Only on youtube, unfortunately. Gotta get him on Rumble.
