There is a level of no-so-subtle pretense within this messaging from President Trump that is not good.
As noted in this Truth Social message, President Trump notes it is unlikely that people around Chairman Xi and people around President Putin would be providing military, logistics, targeting or weapons support for Iran for the same reason President Trump is not providing military, logistics, targeting or weapons support to Ukraine.
TRUTH SOCIAL – “President Xi, at our recent meeting in Beijing, China, told me that he would not, under any circumstances, give or sell Weapons to the Islamic Republic of Iran — And that statement included Chinese Companies. Considering our relationship, I take him at his word and, besides, l am doing him very big favors, also.
Likewise, President Putin, despite the horrible War going on in Ukraine (The relationship remains, as it does with President Zelenskyy), told me that he would not sell Weapons to Iran. He understands that I do not sell Weapons to Ukraine, but to NATO Countries. They pay full price, and how those Weapons are distributed, I have no idea.
Therefore, two major Countries that people speak of often in terms of Iran are, in my opinion, not participating. If they did, it would be very bad for them — Certainly not in their best interests. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” ~President DONALD J. TRUMP
I strongly doubt non-pretending Russian President Vladimir Putin draws a distinction between the U.S. sending drone technology and missiles to Ukraine -vs- the U.S. sending drones and military technology to NATO Germany for forwarding to Ukraine.
As a consequence, if China is sending weapons, tech or military support to Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Pakistan or Turkmenistan and that material ends up in Iran by proxy, then Beijing is doing nothing different than President Trump using France, the U.K, Poland or Germany to support Ukraine. Gentleman’s geopolitical handshakes notwithstanding.
At a certain point, each country has to evaluate their risk vector against the reality of a geopolitical dynamic being driven by U.S. interests that are not necessarily under the command and control of U.S. President Donald Trump.
The newly defined “unelected” political version of ‘western democracy’, represented by Brussels, Ukraine and the U.K, all of which have political leadership as an outcome of selection not election, creates very dynamic risks.
Things have changed rapidly in the past 15 years. Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin is very exposed to those “new democracy” risks as was Muamar Khadaffi before him. Remember, the attacks against Libya were a NATO operation, led by NATO Allied Commander General James Stavridis. Show me in either policy or practical reality where NATOs interests were threatened by Libya; yet NATO led the regime change attack. That’s why, in this context, I select 2012 as the modern origin of this new NATO unelected democracy building.
Bottom line – Is China or Russia providing non-weapon support for Iran? Well, if they followed the USA model in providing non-weapon support for Ukraine, the answer is it’s quite possible.
Perhaps this {{nudge, nudge – wink, wink}} geopolitical brinkmanship explains the not-so-subtle shift in USA and Trump’s policy support in favor of Ukraine. Whatever the cause, things are less stable than before, and we are stuck in Military depletion mode while operating intensely against Iran.
Remember, in our conversations at the Treehouse, we accept things as they are not as we would prefer them to be.

Warn off China & Russia, then bomb the shit out of Iran’s infrastructure, military and religious ruling class.
just bomb the Iranian religious ruling class & military. I see our potential opportunity to help rebuild the country, via other middle east partnerships. An oil platform outside of the Strait would be a huge advantage.
Think back to WWII. Take out the infrastructure–power, water, roads, bridges, rails, runways, ports–all of it. That is exactly what it is going to take to put spines in the Iranian citizens who “say” they want change but then sit meekly by as the Iranian regime uses and abuses their citizens at will. Most Americans say they want freedom, liberty and justice but talk is cheap, especially when confronted with leadership that is becoming increasingly Socialist/Communist.
The WWII example is instructive. We had irrational societies in Germany and Japan, which refused to surrender and vowed to fight to the last man, woman and child even in the face of defeat. So we had to bring total war to their doorsteps involving the entire civilian population. It culminated in the firebombing of Dresden in Feb. 1945 and Tokyo in Mar. 1945. The napalm created firestorms in those cities that incinerated 15 sq miles in each case at 1,800 degrees F. Deaths were estimated above 25,000 in Dresden and 100,000 in Tokyo. The Germans surrender a few months later but the Japanese vowed to continue the fight. That resulted in Hiroshima and Nagasaki before the Japanese finally relented.
What will it take in Iran before the Mullahs relent? It could get very, very ugly.
This is WWIII. I’m guessing.
I don’t understand why Trump doesn’t bomb the shit out of every Iranian port and airfield so they cannot get anything into or out of their Country. This should have been done weeks ago. Everything along their coastline of the Strait of Hormuz should have been obliterated.
Plus declaring a no-fly zone over the entire country and destroying the main rail and road bridges in Iran over which military supplies can be brought into the country by land, and in particular from the northeast (Turkmenistan), which is the primary land route from China. Do as much as possible to isolate the country so as little as possible can be sent in to help the regime last longer.
Isolate and eliminate the Mullah class.
The closer you drive Iran to the brink, the sooner they’ll hit the desalination plants of SA and create a situation where tens of millions of Saudi will die of thirst. And that will destroy the Kingdom and the economy of the world
And next on the agenda is hitting all of Israel’s nuke facilities and turning them into mega Chernobyl situations
And you still won’t force open Hormuz
What makes you think they haven’t been trying all along
To some extent, Hormuz is more of a long-term problem for China than for the Gulf states. Currently under rapid construction is the Iraq Development Road.
This major infrastructure project has built a port at Al Faw (the first section is completed), and will connect by highways and rail for overland transport through Turkey, to move commerce to Europe faster than transiting the Suez or around the Horn. Qatar and UAE are also heavy investors. They are working their way northwest (nearing Basra, then on to Babylon). China will be stuck having longer, slower transit if Hormuz is closed, which Xi will not like.

Nonsense. My Lord, the fatalistic crybabies that are posting here lately. What an embarrassing post. Go hide under your bed.
But what on earth is the U.S. doing in Iran?
Are they acting on behalf of Israel?
What leverage do they have over President Trump?
President Truman had already faced pressure to recognize that country…

You need to read and understand Section 219 of the NDAA and Israel’s integration into U.S. institutions.
That raises some serious questions, doesn’t it?
…« This section would direct the Secretary of Defense to designate an Executive Agent (EA) to expand and accelerate deeper integration of Israel into U.S. institutions. The EA would be solely focused on implementing Section 219. EA authority takes precedence over the authority of the other DoD Component heads per DOD Instruction 5101.01, meaning that the EA would be able to overrule determinations by other DOD agencies such as the Defense Technology Security Administration (DTSA) on Israeli access to U.S. technology.
The appointment of an EA would replace direct Congressional oversight with supervision by the Secretary of Defense. There would be no Congressional confirmation or ability for removal of an executive agent by Congress » …..

I am expressing my opinion and exercising my freedom of speech while it is not yet completely banned by dark forces far removed from the MAGA ideology
Let’s not forget the railway from China.
Perhaps a reason why Trump is not destroying every Iranian port and airfield is because we will end up rebuilding it all for the Iranian people afterwards.
Also, are we — “stuck in Military depletion mode while operating intensely against Iran” as Sundance suggests?
I’m not saying either of the statements above are true, but they are worth thinking about.
Those unelected bureaucrats in Europe are chomping at the bit to charge Trump with war crimes. The next democrat president will be more than happy to hand him over.
We must unite the right under the banner of never allowing the DemSocs into power again—at least until they change back into an American political party. Will we all get who we want in Congress or the Oval Office? Nope, but we won’t get communism, and Trump can be a happy grandpa. We owe him that at least.
Don’t lose sight of the fact that we the people back Trump and Democrats as a whole can’t win fair and free elections. Trump is shining sunlight on all this corruption in the world! Heavenly Father works in mysterious ways! There is a reason why everyone hates trump that are in politics! Greased palms are getting less and less! Live your best life within your means!
I’m sure there’s a gated community that has a sign at the entrance “Religious Ruling Class”.
It’s a mistake to destroy civilian infrastructure and completely unneccessary.

Really, tell that to the Americans who bombed Berlin, Dresden, Tokyo, Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
Five wrongs don’t make it right.

Did you even listen to what Rubio said yesterday, or nah?
“What you need to all understand – because we’ve explained this repeatedly – is Iran has spent the better part of 20 years not just sponsoring terrorism but building long-range rockets, short-range missiles, and drones. And they were intending to build them a lot more. They were intending to double their stockpile. The stuff you’re seeing them use now, they were going to double that. And they were going to use that and hide behind that to say, we’re untouchable, we can now do a nuclear weapon, and you guys can’t touch us or we’ll overwhelm your air defenses, which is why the President had to address this threat.
And he did, and he should have. Another President should have done it earlier. The world will be a safer place because we addressed it. Unfortunately, in the short term it creates disruptions, but you know what’s really disruptive? A nuclear weapon in the hands of these radicals.”
Serious question: Why would you believe an agent or representative of the only government to ever use the capability of such a weapon on people? Wouldn’t that be like listening to a highly prolific serial-killer/murderer warn you of the guy down the street who only murdered his wife’s lover?
Iran has no qualms with doing that to Israel!
If Iran jumps off a cliff, are you going to jump off a cliff, too?
It’s a war, Grandpa, not a game of Monkey See-Monkey Do.

If Russia or China are responsible for EVEN ONE American death, we should BOMB THE SHIT out of them, in addition to Iran. America had no problem with two fronts in WWII. Imagine how much stronger we are now. Three-front WWIII?
Fighting a multi-front war on that scale now with the fraction of the industry we once commanded is about as stupid as it gets.
We could attrit enemies in WWII because we could absorb the losses in equipment and supplies and still keep going. Now it takes multiple years to build a warship where we could built them in weeks and months for WWII.
While our tech is significantly better than that era, our ability to replace combat losses is very much not.
Exactly. Back then the automobile industry switched to producing military equipment. The entire nation went to a wartime footing whether it was building or rationing. Everything was for the war effort.
I doubt that could be repeated.
Nowadays too many would be unwilling to suffer a temporary bit of hardship for a greater cause.
Hard times will break that sort quickly, where others will adapt.
We’re in an age where entitlement, selfishness, cowardice, and stupidity have a stronghold in American society. A large number of Americans don’t understand the peril of allowing psychopaths like the Iranian regime to hold the world hostage with nuclear weapons.(Look at how Iran manages these cowards now with just conventional weapons) They don’t understand that these Islamic extremists believe that in order for their Allah to arrive, there has to be a worldwide holocaust of fire they must bring to him. Many Americans are living in a world of delusion where they think these demonic, barbaric monsters can be converted into decent, civilized human beings if we just shower them with kindness, “inclusivity,” and the promise of a prosperous economy. We are supposed to believe the yarn that “this regime is different” than the one that has been trying to kill us for 47 years. Hello, there may be different people, but it’s the SAME ideology.
Instead of being willing to unite to support the war with Iran to prevent a nuclear holocaust from happening, the snowflakes whine as if they’re going to die because the cost of gas goes up $1. They want Appeasement just as long as the Strait of Hormuz can be kept open and they can go on with their lives status quo for now. (To Hell with the future for the grandkids) TDS politicians seem to prefer to lose the war if it will make President Trump look bad and they can gain more political power in the midterms.
Can you imagine if Roosevelt backed out of WWII because citizens were whining about rationing? During WWII seditious saboteurs were rounded up and put in confinement camps or prison while we were at war. Now we’re supposed to accept this conduct as normal. No one has been held accountable for the Coup that took place to try to overthrow and imprison our duly elected POTUS when President Trump got elected in 2016. As a result, these seditious criminals and their brainwashed followers have become a dominant political party that has infiltrated every aspect of our society.
It will take courage and hard sacrifice to right this ship. It won’t be a pretty picture. Our Founders were willing to do this in order to live as free men. We have been squandering their gift.
/Sarc?
Who is responsible for Russian civilian deaths …ARMCHAIR GENERAL ???
Sir…who start this war..??in the logic of all wars.. you can expect they will hit back..and you may not hear about it…..
Should have happened in Spring 2026.
Just curious, but by what legitimate authority would the U.S. be warning 2 other countries that they are not free to do business together and transact as they please? Is it even moral for the U.S. government to do such a thing? And I’m not referring to power here. Projecting power and/or exercising it are not the same thing as exercising legitimate authority.
If my 2 neighbors decide to engage in a business transaction in which I am not a party, do I possess the legitimate authority to impose myself upon them? Would that be moral of me?
“If my 2 neighbors decide to engage in a business transaction in which I am not a party, do I possess the legitimate authority to impose myself upon them? Would that be moral of me?”
Assuming you are being serious and not just psyop trolling, do you understand this is a war, not “business as usual”? Wars don’t get fought like a gentlemen’s garden party.
I thought this was obvious in the beginning, Ukraine is a US proxy war against Russia with various countries contributing, and the US war with Iran is a Israeli proxy war with Iran using it’s military arm, the US.
China and/or Russia helping Iran is the same as Europe helping Ukraine.
USA technological military supplies can be depleted to an undesirable ability to respond to conflicts because of very probable proxy war with Iran.
This is much of why China has been working on a stranglehold of so many critical minerals that are necessary for industry and advanced technologies. Most if not all of those resources are irreplaceable in building those things.
It also speaks volumes of those that allowed China over the years to corner the markets on so many crucial resources.
If not for decades of insane environmental regulations and lawsuits we would be able to provide most of those critical minerals from right here inside the United States, and at one time we did. Some of that is starting so loosen up due to recent Trump administration actions, but reversing it takes time. China cornering the available markets on so many of those minerals has been entirely self-inflicted.
The CCP and Soviets before them long supported all these environmentalist groups in the United States and elsewhere (watermelons really) so I would not say it was entirely self-inflicted.
Should never have given in to those ‘environmentalist’ groups. In the context of the times it might have been difficult to see what the long-term effects would be. But the environmentalists and their politician friends sure did make a lot of money driving the U.S. into foreign dependence.
It was a plan.
Those get to be control points in technology. Just wondering what they’ll develop with those resources.
Israel ya say? Note to self: ignore comments from charles.
You might want to keep in mind that ignore is the root word of ignorant.
charles… it is a virtue( be ignorant) lots of commenters here since 02/28/26….saaad
Ignore as you like. But Charles is largely correct.
You made the list. I should really write this stuff down.
And another “Blame it on the Jews” voice is heard from.
Duly noted.
Reason dictates that, Jews being human and thus as frail and fallible as any of the rest of us, there logically are and have been instances where Jews have been legitimately blamed for wrongdoing (not least of all the self-consciously Jewish collective known as the State of Israel, which has quite a laundry list of questionable actions on its ledger from the Lavon Affair to the attempted destruction of the U.S.S. Liberty to supplying Iran in its war with Iraq, stealing classified info from the U.S. via Jonathan Pollard and other spies, stealing or forging Canadian passports for the purposes of Mossad assassination missions and so much more).
We are all sinners in this vale of tears.
Don’t try that alinsky tactic. Suggesting that people who oppose current Iran war policy are anti-semites is what the Left did for years. I won’t take anything that you post serious from here on out. Or DOYLE’s garbage either.
T y.
I can’t believe you got 17 thumbs up for that statement. The US is not a “proxy” for Israel. Iranian religious extremism and terrorism is the enemy of our country, and the planet. They cannot continue as they have for the past 47 years! The Ukraine is not terrorizing the world. It is about a lot of people making money with way, and that is not the same as religious terrorism around the world.
There is no comparison in the two wars, or shouldn’t be. The Euro’s have a dream of war with Russia for whatever delusional reasons they have. However, Iran is a totally different ball of wax. The IRGC and the mullahs are twelvers and believe they are hastening the return of their prophet. They are fanatics who are not afraid to die and are more than willing to create a nuclear conflagration. Once one nuke flies the rest of them start flying and it’s all over. I can only pray that our President is successful.
The Ukraine was being set up as a staging ground for the takeover of Russia and the Arctic, among other things that outlining would amount to an epistle.
And the Ukraine not a proxy war between the US and Russia.
The US is trying to get out of the globalist-backed and instigated conflict in the Ukraine.
Iran was gearing up to destroy Israel and they were/are also a clear and present danger to all the other ME countries to the point that everyone got together and said to Iran, “ENOUGH” and proceeded to put a stop to it.
Iran is not a proxy war being fought on behalf of Israel necessarily.
0.o
we supply all Intel/arms directly or not to kill Russian civilians…this said Mr.Lavrov…Russians collect ( PHOTO/FILMS)all acts of military against russians civilians…so there will be no excuse as once Germans said….ah… ah we did not know about those conc./labor canmps…
alas the gullible plebs don’t get it, it’s not only EU but also US bombing Russia thru’ this proxy war. So what’s the outrage with Russia & China helping Iran? Soon it’ll be WW3…
I have and always have supported POTUS from the escalator to today. That being said I believe the Iran operation was a major error in judgement/timing I am sure was foisted upon him by certain “advisors”. Whatever we need to do now to extricate ourselves from the situation while at the same time assure that we prevent the crazies from building a nuke is going to require some very skilled maneuvering and careful planning. God be with us…..
You cannot reason with crazy.
The “crazies” being the radical Muslims, right?
Yup. You can’t reason with Muslims, who are inherently dishonest. Or did you mean President Trump?
Eye Roll
You should take the time to listen to Senator Sheehy speech posted here then. Iran is our mortal enemy who wants to brutally murder every single one of us.
And they’ve been shouting that for 45 years.
The real threat is the dragon hiding behind the curtain.
Can’t they both be a threat?
Yeah, there’s a lot of this “pick one” un-logic going around with regard to the various present threats to our civilization.
And they have been doing it for 45 years.
The US government is far more of a threat to the American way of life and our freedoms than a bunch of mooselim crazies.
Assassinations, mass shootings, Antifa, BLM, massive vote fraud, and the list could go on and on. Many think 911 was a domestic operation and for a long time I rejected that. I no longer reject it after watching what these people have done to Trump and his folks starting in 2016. 911 was our government attacking its own people.
Our government is our biggest enemy and threat and both political parties will bend a knee to the deep-state….always. Trump has been a small road bump, but he’ll be gone soon enough.
Perhaps, but the existence of one threat does not preclude the existence of others, nor the need to deal with them as well. It wouldn’t do to devote all of one’s resources to fighting the Deep State, only to be snookered by an opportunistic China (enabled by Iranian oil) while thus preoccupied.
Perhaps???
Name WHICH of those threats Felix calls out would exist were it not for government?
I’ll wait.
Do you actually believe that Iran does not exist? That it’s some kind of fairy tale to be ignored? Did you listen to even a minute of Rubio’s speech yesterday? Iran is a threat to us and has been a threat to us for some 47 years or so. Their primary objective is to nuke what they call “The Great Satan” and “The Little Satan.”
Is any of this this new to you? Never heard any of this before?
Do you not believe that Iran can be a threat to us at the same time that government corruption is a threat to us? These two things are not mutually exclusive, but this all seems completely lost on you.
You are blind.
Name WHICH of those threats Felix calls out would exist were it not for government?
I’ll wait.
..ad Covid to your 2nd sentence…….yes barking on Mullahs is politicians past time…. to camouflage impotence /unwillingness/ no spine to solve domestic issues ..and it goes to both side of isle..
The mullahs are part of a death cult and the entire reason they were unable to obtain/build a nuclear weapon was that everybody knew exactly what would happen if they did. Trump, thankfully, is President during the time in which Iran’s leadership closed in on developing the nuclear weapon without further outside assistance (and they’d already had years and funds aplenty to develop the long-range missiles to carry it).
Basically we ran out of road to kick the can down.
Exactly….People should read up on 12er Shiism and understand that the IRGC has been in control of all of the petro wealth as well as laundering money for most all of the planets’ state sponsored criminal enterprises and cartels. For a FEE…..and LARGE FEE.
They WILL NOT GIVE up that cashflow….and most of the incredible returns on those endeavors, has been spent on boring holes in mountains, to hide, protect, and create their tools of destruction…. to dissuade others from interrupting their pursuit of their singular goal of Armageddon .
All while their young talented SMART populous is starved calorically, intellectually, and financially.
Yes- God be with us, Amen. Continual prayers for President Trump, his administration, our nation & so many other prayers.
Sounds like you haven’t been paying attention…
both iran and ukraine were foisted on him. the deep schitt state and his deep schitt state advisors made him an offer even he couldn’t refuse is my guess. demonstrate a very low yield neutron detonation on one of iran’s key non-civilian infrastructures to show them how well they work and why we don’t need conventional weapons if we run out. stop diddling around with these taqiyya mumbling tribesmen.
Secretary Rubio yesterday. Read and comprehend, if you can:
“What you need to all understand – because we’ve explained this repeatedly – is Iran has spent the better part of 20 years not just sponsoring terrorism but building long-range rockets, short-range missiles, and drones. And they were intending to build them a lot more. They were intending to double their stockpile. The stuff you’re seeing them use now, they were going to double that. And he did, and he should have. Another President should have done it earlier. The world will be a safer place because we addressed it. Unfortunately, in the short term it creates disruptions, but you know what’s really disruptive? A nuclear weapon in the hands of these radicals.”
What part of “We are the great Satan and kill the non believer” don’t you get?
No better reason to finish off the IRGC totally and completely. Without doing so, China and Russia will just feed the more supplies and technology than every. They will end up in an even better position, and the World a way worse one.
Finishing off the IRGC totally and completely is about 1,000 times easier said than done.
Not to mention such a tactic would “finish off” a whole lot of Iranians who just wanted to live their best lives. I don’t think going down with the IRGC ship was on their radar when they wanted the U.S. to step in and help them.
Don’t know if the Iranians have turned against the IRGC yet it took until 1944 before the Germans started to turn against Hitler. It was the massive defeat at Stalingrad in late 1943 that started the transformation in Germany. Iran hasn’t had its own Stalingrad yet? Has it?
“Public opinion in Germany did not turn against Hitler due to moral objections to Nazi policies, but rather due to pragmatic disillusionment as the war turned against Germany. Historians note that while small acts of resistance occurred (such as protests against the deportation of Jewish husbands or the T4 euthanasia program), the majority of the population tolerated or ignored the brutality as long as Hitler delivered economic recovery and military victories.
The widespread turning of public opinion coincided with the defeat at Stalingrad in 1943 and the intensification of Allied bombing campaigns. By early 1944, when the war was clearly lost and Hitler had become reclusive, the “spell” had worn off for most people, though this was driven by fear of the consequences of defeat rather than a rejection of Nazi ideology. Even after the war, postwar surveys indicated that a significant portion of Germans continued to view National Socialism as “a good idea badly carried out” well into the late 1940s, with private admiration for Hitler lingering into the 1980s.”
Very good analogy.
Logically, PDJT never would have started this war in Iran unless he knew that he had to … to save the US and the world from Iran short term and long term.
Politically and personally, this is likely disasterous for Trump w/the mid-terms a few months away.
IF the insane Dems take control of both Houses of Congress, they WILL impeach and remove Trump from office and likely try him in court and imprison him. He knows this. He did it anyway, not b/c he is controlled by Bibi. Trump is SELF-sacrificing.
In addition, the Dems will pack the USSC, end the filibuster, end ICE, end the electoral college (if possible), enshrine the disenfranchisement of American voters and election fraud and a host of other fascist/communist/socialist policies that will be the final nail in the coffin of our constitutional freedoms.
PDJT cannot lose Congress to this radical anti-american democrat party that is unrecognizable as American.
Yes, the RINOs are a serious problem too but we CAN and are primarying them out slowly. And PDT has some leverage w/Republicans. He has zero with Dems. They hate him far more than they love America. They want to imprison him and even ass-i-nate him if they can and they say so and have tried several times to do so.
The breakthrough between Russia and America is when America gives Ukraine to Russia and Russia gives Iran to America.
While Trump spoke of kinetic weapons, which are indirectly routed through NATO countries, Starlink, targeting, and espionage (for military targeting) is being directly provided to Ukraine by America.
I frankly don’t think Russia will accept any dictated peace. They are very likely seeing the Ukraine conflagration. As one between Russia and the West. To that end, US weapons aren’t an indirect aid but a direct one.
The reason we live on the edge is that if America/EU pushes Russia to fall, while falling, it will likely launch 5000 nuclear warheads towards what they see as the source of their fall. It won’t be Ukraine.
Has anyone asked ratcliffe to stand down in ukraine yet?
Over in one day indeed…
The Russian gene pool has a horrific history. Check out their Cistercian genocide during the mid-19th century. Many things Western schools did not teach us in the Western school system. Even after the horrific events of
the Catholic control of the Christian movement during the inquisition, the Russian Orthodox government topped that event for
an increase in territory in the name of Christianity. Only God knows what they may do with 5000 nuclear weapons when they’re cornered like a rat.

And soon, hopefully.
Ukraine is the laundromat for greased palms!
Glad you stated the obvious Sundance. My sister had two friends fighting. One asked for a hand full of leaves to stuff in the other’s mouth. My sister obliged then both of her friends got mad at her because she provided the leaves. That and the comment on his way home when President Trump said he was considering providing patriot missiles to Ukraine right after a great, long talk with Putin regarding our 250 celebration. Hiding in shadow don’t give you total invisibility and helping by providing leaves doesn’t mean you didn’t provide the attack weapon. Ask my sister.
Russia has self-reported sending food and medicine, humanitarian aid to Iran recently. Is China sending Iran materiel for drones and ballistic missiles? It seems probable, but more evidence is needed.
Would we back down from liberating the Iranian people, if China or Russia objected? Russia has its hands full. China is thirsty for oil and must be in short supply, so it is directly affected by the war, aside from Iran being China’s proxy. Evidence of China pulling strings with its made men in the United States should become more obvious. We need a list of countries and prominent individuals worldwide, who are on Team China. Likewise for Team USA to compare. It would improve our understanding of the situation.
As long as we support Ukraine, or any other adversary to either China or Russia, we have no justification for asking them to refrain from same.
Simple isn’t it. Yet…
Maybe it’s a case of we know what you (China and Russia ) said vs what you are actually doing so we can play that game too.
That would clarify this from SD above:
“Perhaps this {{nudge, nudge – wink, wink}} geopolitical brinkmanship explains the not-so-subtle shift in USA and Trump’s policy support in favor of Ukraine.”
I certainly agree. Sounds like we are being a bit hypocritical to me.
There’s asking and demanding, though. Asking doesn’t carry a military threat (in my opinion) but rather the usual Trump pressure based on the other country’s economic future with the consumer capital of the world, after the guns go quiet.
As of this moment, militarily, the United States IS the Western World.
To the extent we are feeding weapons to Europe/Ukraine or to the middle east, we are doing it alone, and to the depletion of our other theaters and security interests.
We must never lose sight of protecting the homeland itself, both militarily and economically. Because no other power will assist us in doing so. They can’t even protect themselves. That should be more than clear now.
Our so-called “allies” are bankrupt, increasingly industrially incapable, and pathetically unarmed at this point below the strategic level (nuclear weapons). That is a simultaneously precarious and very dangerous situation.
I read this morning that the UK military has only 20 operational tanks, not enough to even defend a town. They asked Germany to loan it ships for a recent joint exercise. They are a shadow of even Thatcher’s UK. France and Germany are only marginally stronger conventionally.
They will not help us. Neither here at home, or in regions that impact them more directly. Because they are unable to do so. PDJT is correct to put them on notice to get ready to defend themselves.
We are the lonely Goliath right now on the world stage. With the increasingly desperate Chinese dragon sniffing around, looking for openings and weakness, directly and through its proxies.
A Russia standing with us, and not against us, would be a welcome development, as PDJT retakes our Western Hemisphere and pushes China out of it.
President Trump could secure Russia’s friendship by withdrawing from NATO and terminating the weapons deal we have with NATO/Ukraine.
Withdrawal from NATO will not be permitted by our Congress. Remember that the last NDAA passed before President Trump returned to the Oval Office explicitly denied him the ability to unilaterally withdraw the United States from NATO.
If NATO is to be disbanded it must be by other means.
President Trump can get the USA out of NATO any time he so chooses…
All President Trump has to do is stop sending NATO billions of $$$ and stop sending NATO American arms and ammunition, and the USA will be “kicked out” of NATO…
gen.Armagedon //Surovkin must first finish UKRAINE….VVP just recall him to do so…
Mr. Rubio pushed that one.
But that has never been tested for whether it’s Constitutional. There is nothing in the Constitution that says a President may not unilaterally withdraw the country from a Treaty, and in fact it has happened numerous times in the last 250 years. Congress can pass whatever legislation they like, but if it’s not Constitutional then it’s null and void.
Whishful
Axis of evil Ian, Russia and China ???
I never trusted Ian.
“Whatever the cause, things are less stable than before, and we are stuck in Military depletion mode while operating intensely against Iran?”
Maybe depleting us has been the plan all along and boogeymen narratives of various kinds were created and fed to us for our successful consumption as a distraction?
Maybe a peaceful people shouldn’t have allowed such broad military adventurism in their name?
Maybe we should have minded our own business instead of bringing freedom and democracy to others around the globe at the end of the barrel of a gun?
Maybe we should have stayed on the gold standard?
I suspect our comeuppance is coming soon.
I’m impressed with so many experts about our military and economic strength and weaknesses here! I thought I was kinda up to date on some of those things!
I’m quite certain that President Putin has told President Trump that there is no difference whatsoever between giving Ukraine weapons, and selling weapons to NATO…which then gives the weapons to Ukraine.
It’s a distinction without a difference. In my opinion, it’s also a mistake.
spirit of Anchorage is gone…saaadly….
I just see a NOD to Putin, … Trump is implying … if Russia is going to attack someone, … Trump doesn’t have a problem with PUTIN going after Z and Europe!
This gives TRUMP a buffer zone, … Putin needs to unload his frustation at someone, … Trump is just nodding … hit Z and EU first, and then if that doesn’t work … Trump and Putin can discuss this in gentleman way … before duking it out. It would be a big mistake for Trump to take HARD action against Russia. EA needs to have a bloody nose, so their people experence the rages of war.
China… does have to be careful, intel … will tell the story. Also China/Russia stay away from IRAN.
possible Rich, IMO.
is there something more afoot?
could this already have been back-channeled?
from yesterday:
“Marco Rubio Answers Media Questions from ASEAN Summit
After Meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov
July 23, 2026 | Sundance
During the questions, the meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov
was one of the key areas of focus.”
big believer in dot connecting, just might have to reorder string soon. 🤓
” … I do not sell Weapons to Ukraine, but to NATO Countries. They pay full price, and how those Weapons are distributed, I have no idea.”
This is a distinction without a difference. And, it’s irresponsible to supply the EU with any weapons, knowing full well that they wish to provoke WWIII.
Trump may be over a barrel, USA Industral milatary MACHINE likes making billions of dollars selling weapons to anybody. Trump told USA military complex not to sell Z stuff. So Trump says, sell to Europe instead of having USA buy these weapons to send to Z.
Well, this buys us some time, and deflects from Deep State attacking Trump Admin, … war machine makes profit … and Trump … states … Listen folks, usa is not equiping Z, Europe is … and EU is paying top dollar for USA stuff. Win/Win. Putin is being pounded, and I’m sure Russia people need to take it out on someone, … Trump says take it out on Z and EU. Once Putin unloads on EU it will remind EU of the cost of WAR and the toll on their elections.
Deep State went behind Trump’s back in the past, … weapons went to Z, and CIA kept stuff from Trump. You are not wrong, but, … Trump just doesn’t want WAR (nuke) stuff. Keep the conflict in Europe. Seems wise to me. Although, … there is risk of WW 3.
and we still end up as merchants of deaths…in the UKR.WAR….
Oh Sundance – President Trump may not be personally providing Ukraine ‘With military, logistics targeting or other support ‘
Pull the other one.
Is it 200 300 or 500 hundred billions the US taxpayer has sent them ?
Drones will be reigning down on Russia for decades after the war is concluded. Putin’s only option is to annihilate Ukraine.
VVP ..just throw soft gloves and unleash gen.Armagedon..both vvp/lavrov-know spirit of Anchorage is gone(another Minsk ?)so they have finish war on battlefield…..
I beg to differ … “we RECOGNIZE things as they are …” and do not have to “accept them as the are” … this is the essence of the environment that spawns discussion and debate.
Furthermore, this goes for situations on an issue by issue by basis.
Acceptance = Agreement … which means supporting President Trump does not mean one necessarily accepts all of his positions and actions, by default.
It’s a straw man argument. I’m old enough to know that although I’m not a Putin is the devil individual. I’ve seen enough to know that regardless of the circumstances Russia would be assisting Iran in some manner that’s counter to the US interests. So nothing has changed. Russia is providing weapons to Iran period. China will also do anything to be an adversary to the US. So nothing has changed and nothing new. Bomb Iran into the stone age if necessary.
Geography does matter.🤷♀️
Iran is in the “neighborhood” of both China and Russia 🌍
President Trump is live right now with a whole bunch of people gloating about the nuclear mini-reactors for the data centers.
RSBN is covering it.
0.o
This is what geopolitical pretending not to know looks like. The aim is to prevent unwanted escalation while maintaining freedom of diplomatic action to deal with bilateral problems on other issues.
It’s a dance, indeed. And not a swing-yer-partner-round-and-round dance. More a Bolero….Ravel-style.
Casualty Ratio TrendsThe imbalance in losses has widened dramatically over time. For much of the conflict, Russia suffered between two and three casualties for every Ukrainian casualty. However, by early 2026, this ratio had climbed to nearly 8:1, meaning eight Russian soldiers were killed, wounded, or missing for every one Ukrainian casualty. This shift reflects Ukraine’s increasingly effective use of defensive positions, drone warfare, and artillery against Russian attritional tactics.
Which is why the Ukrainian’s are: on their 18th mobilisation, still losing territory, give back 20 corpses for every one Russian in exchanges, have sacked their defence minister, forcibly recruited physically and mentally unsuitable candidates and largely rely on drones, static warfare or frontal assaults that kill or injure the majority of the participants.
Simply put, if Russia was losing 8:1 the war would not be being fought by them the way it currently is, if Ukraine were inflicting such lopsided ratios they wouldn’t be fighting it the way they do now.
The biggest trouble though with following the Ukraine narrative, and the sources that bolster it, is that it comes from the same people who have engineered all the other fictions we’ve been forced to endure for decades. You can claim that this particular narrative reflects the truth but personally I follow the ‘fool me once’ maxim.
Can’t be counted as dead if you are left on the battle field as Ukraine does to it’s soldiers.
Death benefits to the families do not have to be paid
if no body.
Guidelines were changed last year….
not in favor of the families.🤷♀️
Visit Ukraine – Ministry of Defence changes rules for payments to families of fallen soldiers: details
“we accept things as they are not as we would prefer them to be.”
I’m pretty sure that’s the situation President Trump finds himself more often than not.
Past time to deliver final blow and leave.
Final blow has 3 parts:
1). Make the rubble bounce at ANY known or suspected site that would be involved in any nuclear development. E.g. — Oickaxe mountain should be leveled now.
2). Destroy any and all remaining military assets capable of interdicting Hormuz traffic.
3). Destroy all comms, pipelines, bridges, and power lines that support Iran’s oil industry. In addition, take out the power stations that feed Kharg Island….and Tehran.
Then leave with this admonition: any attack or action to block or charge ships thru Hormuz will cost you another power stations that feed. Every time.
Russian Foreign Minister Lavarov made it very clear how Russia feels about US involvement in the Ukraine at his ASEAN Address last week, “the US is directly responsible for strikes made from the Ukraine into Russia…”, made it very clear there is no distinction or blurred lines.
As for 2012 being a benchmark for NATO becoming an offensive alliance … I agree 100%, some may go back to NATO Balkans operations but those were in NATO’s backyard or agreement to call Afghanistan a NATO Operation … However, Libya was a clear assault on a Nation that was NO ESTABLISHED Threat NATO. In fact Gadaffii was going the extra mile to rein in terrorists, who were forming “rebel movements” vs his rule. Need to add the US has yet to whisper even a hint of being disagreement on NATO’s new posture, no matter where one draws the line … to date even President Trump’s disagreements are over MONEY and DUES paid and not NATO’s new Military Strategic Posture of being an OFFENSIVE MILITARY ALLIANCE.
It could even be argued that President Trump was counting on NATO support given all the “serious and dire” declarations made by NATO members that something had to be done about the THREAT POSED by Iran and the precedent of NATO participating in Afghanistan vs a threat much less serious … unfortunately just as he found out about the Congressional Republicans in 2017 .. while the same goes for the dire declaration made by members of congress v/v the need to address Iran … all the declarations were just hot air public pronouncements made for sound bite generation, once President rump decided to take those declarations of the need for action to the kinetic level.
So ending the Ukraine war is now just a pipe-dream and Trump is up to his ears in Iran and will be for the long term. There are no “deals” with mooselims. You either turn their country into an ashtray or this goes on and on like all of the Forever Wars.
Trump got suckered into Iran by the same people that helped Bush justify Iraq with the “weapons of mass destruction” lie. It wasn’t bad intelligence. It was an intentional fabrication to justify military action that cost us many lives, many disabled veterans, and trillions in taxpayer money.
Trump talked big about stopping money, weapons, and intelligence to support Ukraine. He also promised to get us out of other people’s problems and conflicts. He has learned quickly he doesn’t have the power to do this. It’s above his pay-grade. The money will go there with his approval or not, same with the weapons. His cute little thing about “weapons to NATO…..” is just a way for him to save face without having to admit he has no power to stop it. The bootlickers in America might buy that crap, but the Russians and ChiComms have no interest in bootlicking Trump…….
So go vote for the commies in the midterms, genius. You sound like MS NOW.
We are discussing the country Soetero sent billions of ca$h on skids to. Every decision has a consequence.
I wish I had the fig leaf franchise to sell to USA,RUSSIA,CHINA – I would own a really nice private island.
Pogo
Thank you for this.
I always wondered why Trump stopped bombing Iran and looked for a diplomatic solution for months when you could see Iran was not serious. The only thing that made sense to me was we were running out of missiles and other offensive weapons and we were the ones stalling for time to replenish those weapons.
My opinion: although a long shot at best, the various Gulf countries like Oman, UAE, Pakistan, Dubai, Qatar, Saudi etc all wanted him to try.
So to curry favor with them — AND to be able to say when it failed “I really tried” — he gave it a go.
Of course it failed, predictably, when Iran started shooting at ships and other targets in the area.
Presumably Trump used this interim to restock the resources needed to finish Iran off. I don’t believe for a second that we were ever near “running out” of stuff to hit them with, but for sure we used the time to replenish, reposition, and refine the target list.
“We are stuck in Military depletion mode”. Bigly! And does the United States have the industrial capacity to not stay depleted? Russia sure seems to have that capacity!!
👏 👍 👏 Exactly!👍👏👍
With modern technology…and the time it takes to build missiles…
the days of turning out munitions in an assembly line is
a thing of the past. Archaic. 🦕 🦖
Gravity type bombs which were used in the past…and few are used
today …require an aircraft to be able to fly…over the target.
In this modern age….air defense has made the use of gravity type
bombs practically obsolete.
First line of the article:
”There is a level of no-so-subtle pretense within this messaging from President Trump that is not good.”
Thank you, Sundance, for not pretending.
For some reason Ukraine is the game. Has been since before 2014. If there is ever a massive turnaround of our stultified, Uniparty country, it will not happen by approaching the Ukraine game head-on. It is too big.
There will be a dark time before NATO/”globohomo” is defeated, wherein it will feel like we’ve lost everything, even our leadership. Otherwise the impossible battle can’t be won by the small minority.
Indistinguishable from defeat–I know. This is when faith, and all the other virtues that we should bone up on, will be necessary.
“As noted in this Truth Social message, President Trump notes it is unlikely that people around Chairman Xi and people around President Putin would be providing military, logistics, targeting or weapons support for Iran for the same reason President Trump is not providing military, logistics, targeting or weapons support to Ukraine.”
I think the key word here is targeting: there isn’t much value to most countries in having medium to long range ballistic missiles without having the advanced satellite acquisition and targeting technology that only a relative handful of countries possess.
So I think when you see Iran making precision strikes on targets hundreds of kilometers away it would imply they are getting assistance from someone.
Sea Eye A
Bomb them into oblivion and create the Oman canal
There is a dynamic here that is being overlooked.
Sundance has stated there is a system of “reverse fascism” in place … whereby the Major Financial Masters “centrally” directed-controlled the operations of a Global Corporation … with nations being the franchises of the Corporation. The UN and BIS are directly controlled executive agencies …. with the WEF being an academic policy development tool.
All the national franchises are competing for the best possible seats on the Board of Directors, within the Global Corporation. That is the reality today.
When specifically looking at Iran … they are a National Franchise financed and chartered as a corporate agent of Chaos, globally via radical Islamic movements world wide with IRGC … and the Iranian home from actions in Gulf of Arabia and inside Iran (Nuclear Weapons). In some places the Drug Cartels and Islamic IRGC efforts actually overlap or are allied (i.e. Venezuela, Colombia, Honduras, Cuba, Canada, EU, etc.).
Sure the Nuclear Threat is the stated catalyst but there is a much a larger
The EU Franchise, Russian Franchise, China Inc. Franchise and Controlled-Aligned US Government assets are aligned to protect the agents of chaos … Iran and Cartels … to put the US back into it’s assigned role of being a Services and consuming oriented franchise. Iran stops to negotiate tomorrow if the US gains enough support from the other Major Franchises.
In the bigger picture set against the Global Corporation .. President Trump is the first post 1988 President attempting to carve out a much stronger position for the US Republic (Franchise) and it’s citizens … beyond being a Services Provider and Consumer Market (i.e. the Trillions of $$$, our livelihoods and our Civil Rights are at stake).
China is the major recipient of Iran oil and the cash that Osama and globalist handed over to Iran.
Them assbackwards prehistoric terrorists don’t have the smarts to run drone curtains that China is operating from Beijing.
IMHO this was all planned. We will be out of munitions soon and thats when the crazy will start. All.on.purpose. their goal is to destroy the west.
What is killing 5000 Russian troops/week (per Sec. Rubio)?
I don’t believe what Rubio said. Marco Rubio creates arguments to support decisions, rather than the other way around. I like valid arguments determining policy, the reverse. Spin is spin.
Serbia is really the start of NATO as an aggressive alliance. It was before Libya and against a country that threatened no NATO country. And against a country that has long been an ally of Russia. It was for Serbia that Russia went to war in 1914.
I am just waiting for Iran to bomb the runways at every single place our planes that bomb them are sitting.
I want to know who/what “U.S. interests that are not necessarily under the command and control of U.S. President Donald Trump.” are!!
Are there similar interests, doing similar things, that are not necessarily under the command and control of the Russian/Chinese leaders, as well?
Big time Trump supporter but that doesn’t mean I blindly agree with everything Trump does.
If I were Putin, I’d be greatly pissed at Trump for providing support to Ukraine via NATO, and having my energy sector being taken out. And rightly so!!!
Does Russia have a “Deep State”?
The Aq Tekeh Khan railway bridge in Golestan province is the main Iranian bridge repeatedly identified in connection with overland logistics corridors linking Iran to China and Russia.
The corridor, stretching from Kazakhstan through Turkmenistan into Iran, provides an overland connection between Iran and Central Asia, with links to Russia, China and wider Eurasian markets.
For Iran, this northern railway artery is strategically valuable because it expands access to resource-rich Central Asian states and supports transit flows less exposed to Gulf chokepoints.
Not impressed:
Why would Trump start fumbling NOW?
Either this has gone on too long now and gotten too big and out of control (even for him), or it’s just a different strategy. I’m sure he was in the middle of a strategy with Lindsey Graham and now that’s also f-ed up.
Now Sundance, you seem to have confirmed that we’re headed in a bad direction, but do you have any of your famous suggestions to pass along to anyone?
What I fear is that President Trump is becoming overextended and all of his critical internal policies will get derailed. He may have to temporarily discontinue the miliary action with Iran but continue the economic warfare until after the midterms, after that maybe some combination of economic and periodic military action until the regime collapses. Prepare for the Cuba prize that will fall in his lap shortly.
It is very disconcerting watching us become more entangled in the Ukraine/Russia conflict.
Maybe we will be ok (as long as Rubio doesn’t abandon him (and I don’t mean literally). Hegseth hasn’t been in the news much lately (that I’ve seen, anyway). He was out there way too much in the beginning, I think. God help us. Why would He have gotten Trump in place for us to save America if it were only to end in disaster?
The fact that “Ukraine” is NOT a member of NATO the USA is NOT compelled to support “Ukraine War” or other members of NATO in supporting Ukraine even by PROXY. The fact that the US was funding/training/supporting BIOLABS designing/making BIOWEAPONS within its borders, AND, during the Biden administration, and likely NATO forces, possibly currently, American CIA, military intelligence participating “DIRECTLY” has already crossed the VERY THIN LINE into an being an active PARTICIPANT in sustaining the hostilities in Ukraine.
It amazes me that Vladimir Putin has shown restraint in NOT striking the NATO countries, OR, for that matter USA assets within the NATO countries in Europe. Now, it’s been alleged that “UKRAINE” has begun using these furnished assets to strike Russian/Chinese tankers albeit, “shadow fleet vessels” supporting Russia’s financial needs and China’s energy needs.
IMHO, it’s time that America “BACK OUT OF SUPPORTING UKRAINE” in ANY way shape or form and let those in Europe suffer the consequences!
If this keeps up, then mid-terms are lost. The war is unpopular, its economic side-effects are unpopular, and Donald Trump’s job approval is underwater.
These neocon foreign adventures are contrary to America First and will damage our movement greatly if the Dems gain one or two Houses in November.
“Our movement” lol. Sure thing slick.
But the USA is still providing targeting ISR to Ukraine so they can hit inside Russia. President Trump has yet to stop this. Who are we not to tell Russia not to help Iran. I voted for President Trump 3 times but he started this war with Iran for Israel. Any person with an average IQ knows Iran is not a threat to the USA.
Paraphasing Sundance: See things as they are, not as we wish them to be.
“the reality of a geopolitical dynamic being driven by U.S. interests that are not necessarily under the command and control of U.S. President Donald Trump.”
I think this was the key phrase from Sundance referring to US activities in Ukraine that are so concerning.
As long as the mullahs control Iran there’ll be no end to the violence
It will likely go on even after they are gone
If the US is producing more energy than any nation in the world why are we over there at all, and, we continue getting raped at the gas pumps
I’m waiting to see multitudes of Iranians flood The US as happens after every other failed war/ nation building
attempt by our fearless leaders
More of the same, squat for the average American
Our greatest ally
According to the Tousi TV report on Iran, the Chinese just “confirmed” that they are providing support and supplies to the IRGC.
If so, how will things become “very bad” for them?
Embargo on all Chinese goods?
Sprawl-Mart and Targe’t and other such places would have nothing to sell within one month, along with many other places!
Cut off all oil shipments to China? Bomb the rail line in Iran connecting them to China overland? But then trucks could be used.
It is obviously to their advantage to keep the war going, so that it could indeed become “endless”…or seem that way to an impatient, short-sighted electorate.
