The interview is prompted to [8:04] the segment where President Trump is discussing the current status of insufferable negotiations with a duplicitous Iranian negotiating team. Obviously, President Trump is done with the word games and efforts of the Iran regime to “tap along” the negotiations while never intending to uphold their word or promises.
Previously the Gulf Cooperation Council (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain) urged President Trump to ignore the statements and promises from Iran as they could not be trusted. However, the GCC -which is ironic considering Qatar intermediaries- then tried to directly negotiate with Iran using Pakistan.
Collectively the GCC, Trump and now NATO are all in the same frame of thinking that Iran is simply just playing games. As a consequence, U.S. and allied military action is now taking place against Iran on multiple fronts. WATCH:

Trump is actually making a good move by requesting Graham’s sister to be a placeholder. The governor is in a tough spot, with state law demanding an immediate primary process for the vacant seat and an election coming in November. Any choice the governor makes might be seen as putting his hand on the scales for the primary. Picking a non=politician as a placeholder would allow the primary process to go on with the perception of fairness. Meanwhile, Trump may have some assurances that Darline will vote the way her brother would have.

The oil cliff is coming. Trump mentioned the cliff 3 weeks ago. It was one of the reasons he stated during a meeting of the press at the G7 for negotiating the terms of the MoU. In the past 3 weeks some oil left the Gulf but not much to make a difference on the global market.

We wouldn’t have entered into the lousy deal for the US MOU if there had been seen to be a military solution after 11,000+ targets had been hit. If it had been possible to “finish the job” it would have been done then and the reason it wasn’t done is not that we or the Israelis were too kind. It’s that Iran has clearly threatened to take out the absolutely essential infrastructure of their neighbors if we do like oil facilities, power plants, and desalination equipment upon which their neighbors are far more dependent on for water than Iran is.
Since we didn’t have even remotely enough MOPS (12 of which were dropped into two vents, 6 in each, at one of their nuclear facilities) to destroy the missile and drone storage and manufacturing tunnels each under at least 500 meters (1,640 feet) of solid granite we just bombed their entrances shut. The Iranians were digging those open even before the ceasefire.
That would NOT have been a problem if the government had been overthrown early on as hyped by Bibi and the head of the Mossad (replaced in June – gotta’ make it look good) who, unlike his predecessor and our own IC said a regime change using only air power was highly unlikely.
Now, all Iran needs to do to keep the flow through the Strait low is to spread fear, uncertainty, and doubt by occasionally sending a cruise missile with terminal homing for accuracy as was obviously the case with the container ship it just disabled by precisely blowing up its engine room. They could continue to do that indefinitely with just a few mobile launchers.
