Against the backdrop of the Iran conflict, crisis in the Middle East and the disruption of energy supplies due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, U.K Prime Minister Keir Starmer held an urgent meeting with British business leaders, finance and bankers as well as U.K insurance leaders. At the conclusion of that meeting, he informed media of a national address.
During the national address to the people of Great Britain, Prime Minister Starmer emphasized that events in the Middle East have forever changed the landscape of U.K. economic and geopolitical policy. Signaling an inflection point crossed, the British prime minister announced that urgent actions were being taken to mitigate a national crisis.
Additionally, accepting the U.S. position toward NATO, and the U.K appears to be permanently shifted, Starmer said the British relationship with Europe now becomes critical to their vital national security interests. Against the backdrop of an end to the “special relationship” with America, the Brexit independence from the European Union is now a threat.

President Trump is also scheduled to deliver a national address at 9:00pm Wednesday. Secretary of State Marco Rubio gave an interview with Fox News last night specifically centered around a changed U.S.-NATO relationship (that interview coming next).
Starmer conveniently ignores Britain’s most urgent crisis. It has allowed hundreds of thousand militant Muslims into the country and government. Muslims are given priority over the British people where rapes, murders, and pedophilia are being ignored by the police and media.
Starmer’s policies did this and he is correct that Britain will never be the same.
Stammer does have a terrified look on his face in public meetings.
Something I don’t see mentioned enough is that, if Britain and/or France transition to Muslim control – which doesn’t require a Muslim majority at all – they already have advanced nuclear weapons, and seats on the U.N. Security Council.

I followed Brexit pretty closely back at the time of the referendum and don’t remember anything said about it being a safe choice for Britain only if the U.S. remained committed to the “special relationship” and stayed in NATO. Of course, Starmer was not one of those proponents and has never wanted the UK to be outside the EU to the slightest degree. Just like virtually all of the elites in the UK, regardless of their party affiliations, he wants the UK to rejoin the EU. Those elites despise the common people who backed Brexit and have worked tirelessly from day one to undermine it and to make sure it was never fully implemented. Starmer’s comments today do not reflect a new interpretation, just a reframing of the same old anti-Brexit orthodoxy.
Starmer is certainly no Winston Churchill who declared Britain would “fight on, if necessary for years, if necessary alone” after the fall of France and the disaster of Dunkirk.

Substacker Amuse has a great current article where he quotes President Eisenhower (on whose watch NATO was ratified) as saying that, if US bases still existed in Europe after 10 years of NATO, the treaty should be considered a complete failure. He was right about that. NATO was intended to be a hand to pull Europe up out of its failure to prepare for self-defense, to help train and prepare Europe to take over its own defense. It was allowed to grow into another permanent welfare plan paid for by US taxpayers (probably by corrupt politicians who receive kickbacks from the Europeans for continuing the gravy train). Now their helpless states are “victims” of Trump for saying “enough is enough”. It’s not like he just cut them off on a whim. He talked about it for decades before he was elected and demanded they man up during ‘45. They just thought they were more powerful and clever than he is.
Amuse (Alexander Muse) also has a great piece out about how Poland refused Turkey’s (a fellow NATO member) request to borrow an anti-middle device signals the end of NATO. Poland enjoys complete deterrence from Russia coming across their border because of the huge US military presence that would trigger a massive US response. Yet they respond to another NATO country’s need to borrow one piece of equipment while they’re under current middle fire from Iran with “pound sand). Clearly NATO is understood by Europe as a U.S. funded one way street and not a mutual protection pact. Let’s close those bases, bring our resources to the western hemisphere and take bets on how long it takes Russia to invade Poland.

I fear that as lessons of 9/11 seem to have faded from memory for many, lessons from watching once Great Britain destroy itself bit by bit will not make any difference either. The same is happening here, and I just don’t see any way to stop the runaway train. We now have so many in this country in positions of power who openly declare their allegiance to other countries, mosques are being built faster than single housing, streets filled with prayer rugs. As long as it is described as a religion, our laws will protect it. It doesn’t feel like America anymore. My local tv news never had murders or rapes reported on it, when I was a teenager.
