Three days ago, the Australian government was downplaying reports of a serious shortage of fuel. Today the Australian Prime Minister gives a national address and warns Aussies to conserve fuel, or else things will get sketchy.
In non-pretending terms: it’s Australia – PREPARE FOR THE SKETCHY!
The leaders of Canada, Great Britain and now Australia have delivered national addresses in the past 36-hrs about Iran, the subsequent energy issues and the geopolitical shifts currently underway they cannot control. Keep in mind, the other thing these countries have in common is they are four (count NZ in AU) of the Five-Eyes countries. The remaining eye is the USA, and President Trump is scheduled to deliver his national address tonight at 9:00pm Eastern.
For the folks down under it is worth remembering their COVID-19 experience. When the government starts saying, ‘we hope you will voluntarily consider doing XXX’, the next thing that comes in the ‘conservation’ effort are government mandates, travel restrictions, lockdowns, rations and severe authoritarian control mechanisms. It’s the Australian way.
For this example, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese delivers “a rare address to the nation” outlining his government’s response to the Middle East conflict and fuel crisis. “The months ahead may not be easy. I want to be up front about that,” Albanese warns. He then continues, “we will deal with these global challenges, the ‘[¹]Australian way’,” which should forewarn every person in Australia that government control mechanisms are being planned immediately. Good luck! WATCH:
.
I always found it rather remarkable that the countries who pushed the Build Back Better agenda the hardest; the countries who pushed climate change and complete restructuring of energy policies the most; were the exact same countries who triggered the expansive sanction regime against Russia. lol, to those who thought Iran was a “Nothing Burger,” don’t realize how Oil up, interest rates up and finally, cost to goods goes up and passed forward. But that what we get when politicians who lack Economics, even Global Economics, should be thrown out and replaced with folks who truly have real world experience, not pretty words that make people feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
This interruption is at least not going to last, hopefully, that long. Get a deal, get out of NATO, let ME countries with the USA control the Strait and all should be great! Fingers Crossed.
Trump is the greatest president in generations. What the war in Iran has shown us is that senile Biden was worse for gas prices — they hit $5 per gallon. LOL
The Iran war is a nothing burger compared to the disastrous joke Joe Biden. The Iran/Israeli war started on his watch, Gaza was destroyed, and Putin invaded Ukraine. You’re projecting.
Actually, gas is about 10 cents shy of the $5.00 mark here in Boise, Idaho. Diesel is $5.39.
That’s NOT/NOT to say I long for the Biden years, as I know these prices are temporary. Trump earned my trust early and he has done nothing but earn more of it, and a great reset has been long overdue. When I think of the inconvenience, discomfort, and HUGE sacrifices prior generations withstood to keep this Republic for me and mine, rising gas prices are so small by comparison. They are real and they hurt for many, but this is our watch.
Well said. To thank you.
Deisel is $7.75 a gallon here in the communist hellhole of California.
Got to keep the cap and trade and bullet train scams going.
Plus, CA is $91 Billion in the hole so be prepared for that. Politicians doing what politicians do best as I don’t even need to list all the ways the citizens of that state will suffer the consequences. You Know…
And fire season’s just around the corner…
At some point the train to nowhere scam/fraud will erupt.
100$ billion+ is not small change, at least not in my book.
Politicians, faux engineers, faux business execs who participated should all be legal targets.
DOGE style money audits should do the trick.
Drag them through endless lawsuits until they are broke and destitute.
The communist state of Washington is equally bad gas price wise. Nearing $6 for diesel. Currently heading from eastern Washington to north Idaho to fill up with gas for something in the $3 range for reg
Gas ~$4 in CDA, Idaho. No more $3.
$3.39 yesterday in SE WI.
Buy my gas in Kenosha County. Shop for groceries there too. My range sits near the state line. So yes, I leave Illinois to buy food and fuel. I spend as little as possible in Illinois.
$5 was a national average.
Gasoline in western Washington State: $5.49, Diesel fuel: $6.99
All before the Iran operation even began.
I cannot believe ‘Drill Baby, Drill!!’ is even for our benefit.
Trump 2028!
We do not need to be a part of controlling the straights, nor should we.
I would somewhat agree so maybe I should have said, a committee member on the board instead. 😁
In the near future….
“In other news, your fuel ration has now been increased to 2 liters a week (from 3).”

We Elected This – How a Nation Votes Itself Broke.
Stephen Spartacus Apr 01, 2026
Thomas Sowell once observed that there are no solutions, only trade offs.
Milton Friedman was blunter – there is no such thing as a free lunch.
Two observations. Decades apart. Both ignored almost universally by the people we elect to govern us.
Here is the foundational truth that modern politics has built a cathedral of nonsense on top of – governments do not create wealth.
They redistribute it.
https://iamspartacus.substack.com/p/we-elected-this-how-a-nation-votes
While I agree with the article, I quibble with the fact that we elect the people to govern us. Until such time as the western world institutes a system in which any individual of the general population can confirm the authenticity of the vote themselves, it is my contention that we do not elect these people, that they are instead chosen for us by the people that actually rule us.
The people do not rule and are not sovereign, although for a limited time we still have the opportunity to reclaim our natural born rights, that window will soon be shut forever.

Old Time is still a-flying;
And this same flower that smiles today
Tomorrow will be dying.”

Spot on!
Turns out they’ve been “selecting” them my entire lifetime.
70 and counting…
🎯
For sure. Lack of true audit ability is the basis of the stolen election problem.
Trump doesn’t ignore the people. You must have him confused with Obama who dropped over 26,000 bombs in his last year on office; just because the media hid his failed wars doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Trump will succeed in Iran as he has done in Venezuela.
And Cuba (soon).
Governments skim wealth. They keep a bit of it for themselves – the rest goes to those who buy governments.
As I understand it, Friedman was a free trade capitalist. Those theories helped get us into this economic mess.
In other words….buy a couple kangaroos…..and a wagon. Now I know why they call it “down under”.
They get what they deserve. No sympathy here.
Growing up I always imagined Australia as the last great, free wide open.
How far they have fallen. We as well, for that matter.
For those in these unfortunate countries that are still willing to go to school, they are being educated the hard way. We’ll see if they put that education to good use in the months ahead.
And prayers up for you in the meantime!
So, Australia is subsidizing the tax on gas and where and how does one think the Australian government will make that up? You guessed it!
Australia is also heading into winter…..
Was scrolling to see if that point had been raised.
Thanks
I guess they’ll get the goon squad bands back together they used to kill and beat innocent people during the Scamdemic if they don’t listen to the Overlords.
This scumbag deserves the gallows. He and Starmer are amongst the most heinous modern authoritarians on Earth. AA is a disgrace not only to Australia, but also to humanity.
It is interesting that the English speaking countries are falling all over themselves to eliminate the freedoms that used to set them apart from the rest of the world. Starmer is a weanie tyrant, the chick that shut down New Zealand just left, Canada is a prison killing its’ inmates and the US is trying hard to follow with the Puritans barking on their leash desperate to censor all other ideas. Is it genetic? We are the only republic since Athens. Back into the dark we go. Our only hope is that these politicians are cowards and we are armed. Good Luck All!!!
Guilt from all the colonizing they did in the past?
But without their colonizing much of the world would still be primitive or non-existent.
They should be proud, not ashamed IMHO.
Puritans are the censorship problem? Ridiculous.
All of the nations complaining now hate fossil fuels. They support cap and trade which is designed to skyrocket gas prices.
From the liberal point of view, Trump is saving the planet with higher gas prices. If not—why did they support the green new deal?
Great point.
“All of the nations complaining now hate fossil fuels. They support cap and trade which is designed to skyrocket gas prices.”
The fake outrage concern troll posters thought it was wonderful, too.
I filled up for $3.19 yesterday evening.
Over $3 a gallon MORE here in California. Got to keep the grifters grifting.
Newmax had been running a commercial about Carbon being the wonder element. It grows food and feeds us. This is exactly the opposite message that came from those who would destroy us.
It’s kinda funny when those countries that promote the green curse are those complaining the loudest about not getting enough oil
BINGO
And hey! Presto!!
The satanic WEF “15 minute cities”!!!

Australia is sitting on 42 years of oil reserves:
https://www.news.com.au/finance/economy/australian-economy/map-shows-brutal-truth-about-australias-fuel-crisis-as-the-country-sits-on-42-years-worth-of-oil-reserves/news-story/0718f571527495efef5eb91fd69017d3
Australia exports 2/3 of its energy products, primarily to Asia. Exports to China are rising steadily:
https://www.eia.gov/international/analysis/country/AUS
“In September 2025, Australia released its Net Zero Plan to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. The plan sets a target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 62%–70% from 2005 levels by 2035.”
And here’s the perspective from the Asia Natural Gas & Energy Association:
https://angeassociation.com/location/australia/
In particular, this quote:
Australia has a difficult balance to achieve. The country’s economic wellbeing must be protected in the short and medium term, which will depend on fossil fuel exports, while meeting new climate targets and managing strengthening activist pressures to move more swiftly to a carbon neutral future. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has noted the importance of gas projects – both current and future – to “keeping the lights on” and meeting Asian LNG demand.
In sum, Australia’s leaders continue to bow to their Green Energy overlords, as well as their Chinese puppet masters. Which are actually 2 sides of the same coin. Sitting on decades of oil reserves while expecting their own citizens to ration, while continuing to supply Panda, the biggest polluter on the planet.
Who benefits from Western climate self-flagellation, the “requirement” for “energy efficient” appliances and EVs? Who produces and sells all this crap, and benefits from the oil exports which are no longer needed by the compliant West?
China.
Disgusting. TLDR version… The Australian overlords make a fortune selling fossil fuels to China while their own citizens have to rub 2 sticks together. Sounds about right.
Thx for posting, Australia has ENERGY out the wazhoo!
They have the crude but not the refineries.
In case you are not paying attention to the global warming issue:
Shock New Evidence Showing No Link Between CO2 & Temperature Over Last Three Million Years …
http://www.climatedepot.com/2026/03/24/shock-new-evidence-showing-no-link-between-co2-temperature-over-last-three-million-years-stumps-net-zero-activists/
Actually CO2 lags temperature. The warmer it gets the more CO2 is produced. Al Gore knew this when he wrote his famous book. He put the Temperature chart on a different page than the CO2 chart then claimed CO2 caused warming. If he had put them on the same chart they would have shown CO2 lagging.
But, Australia has only a handful of refineries. That’s the problem they face. Short sidedness and climate policies did that.
It is worse than that. We have only 2 refineries left! Governments forced the others to close
they should join forces with cana-duh.
They’re already joined under the Crown.
Nonsense
the video wants me to “sign in” to confirm I’m not a bot 😂
Ahhh, you’ve been caught! I always thought you were a bot. Lol. I wonder how much time we waste on these tests. Some of them are diabolical.
😂 😂
So to meet this crisis we will be having another gun buy back program and will continue our efforts to root out right wing extremists in our midst. That’s the Australian way.
Forward!
its mind boggling that so many nations have depended on Iran. No wonder Iran considered themselves untouchable by the US. Look at how powerful other nations have let them become knowing what kind of a regime they are/were/and was developing. Did they not ever vision Itan taking over whatever at whenever they wanted in the near future?
Depended on energy from the Middle East is more accurate. I think China was buying most of Iran’s off-market energy.
I wonder if the orders of the national addresses have been arranged? Trump goes last.
Funny how quickly things change when your big brother America stops defending you from bullies, stops loaning you lunch money, and starts teaching tough love.
The free ride is over, Leaches.
It’s amazing how Trumps decision to stop a nuclear Iran has magically triggered such enormous change in the Five Eyes world and the midget piano player in Ukraine!
Pretty cool, huh?
Not to mention messing with China and cleaning up our southern neighbors’s back yards.
I’m looking forward to buying an inexpensive Leica camera when Germany starts burning their furniture to stay warm.
🙌
The plan?
Artemis launches tonight. I wonder if that will be Trump’s address and not this.
Definitely will be a much more upbeat event to speak about.
That is to say setting a new path for the future and returning to that which we are well suited. Exploration and pushing against the boundaries of what is possible.
My hope is that the United States regains that drive that led to us winning the moon race and lead on with manned missions to Mars and the outer solar system.
Earth’s highest and best use is not production.
It is creation.
“Tonight we launched a big, beautiful rocket. Instead of going to the moon, I decided to wipe Iran off the map. Surprise! They should’ve made a deal. YUGE mistake!”
Australia was the test case for full state control and surveillance during the plandemic. What’s scary is that the majority went along with it.
Absolutely Soviet!
“Stay in place to stop the spread, or we will confine you together in a mass prison!” 🤪
It’s funny you said that because I was talking with my kids through text and I sent this to them last night. –
My favorite song by Pink Floyd is “Comfortably, DUMB!”
Now why would I say this while changing that last part?
Here’s why,
I can hand someone factual documents that cost me nothing but time, that comes directly from the government through legislation which is logged in the Federal Register, including the actual Acts themselves and still, people won’t believe it! Why? (1) They would rather spend money and read a book, that blends facts with fiction, while the author weaves a narrative convincing the reader its authentic while being creative, and yet, not once, will they ever take the actual time reading the factual document(s) and (2) As Julius Caesar so pointedly exclaimed, – Men willingly believe what they wish.
Going along with the herd but never questioning why, is not a sign of intelligence, it’s a sign of weakness. So if one were to ever wonder why history repeats? It’s because humans NEVER change!
…as they did in the US. Few pushed back
“ It’s the Australian way.”
It’s the Commonwealth way. Its now the EU way.
Our Founders knew. They left with us, the American way, if we choose to take it back.
How’s that Green Energy working for you now, Australia?
It’s not green. It’s ripe! As in ROTTEN.

Australian Prime Minister Jimmy WHO? I thought he passed away. Guess he just moved to Australia.
“Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right”, Steelers Wheel. I wouldn’t call them the 4 eyes. I’d call them the 4 useless idiots. Keep the strait closed to their ships and let them squirm.
I think the various rubber is about to meet the various roads.
FAFO. All these leftist countries are scrabbling now. They must have realized that PDJJT wasn’t fooling around when he said to them, get your own oil. HA HA. Putin must be laughing his ass off.
I remember when AU wanted to put the Aborigines (blacks) in camps (gulags) if they wouldn’t take the jabs. Try that in the US and you will be dead man walking within ten minutes.
But not the Aussies.
Scurrilous and untrue.
Australia has been steadily increasing their dependency on China for their fuel. China has cut back to protect their own reserves and guess who has been left to wither? You better be careful who you align with. There is a lesson there Canada.
…………. “we will deal with these global challenges, the ‘[¹]Australian way’,” ………
When skid row stops skidding — good luck indeed!!
“… government mandates, travel restrictions, lockdowns, rations and severe authoritarian control mechanisms. It’s the Australian way.”
In other words, Australia’s government is still acting as if its citizens are still part of a penal colony.
The play seems obvious. My take, anyway.
Trump hasn’t just rolled up their oil flow but has also begun an international banking fraud intervention that restricts, maybe even eliminates, the flows of offshore dollars to any terrorist designated entity. That severely weakens the mechanisms for money laundering that the UK, other countries, and drug/human trafficking cartels rely upon for their survival.
Britain just announced that they will no longer be targeting hate speech so they can devote their law enforcement resources to things like investigating Pakistani rape gangs and such obvious populist pleasers. Meanwhile, you can bet that the other hand is preparing for the big move.
The EU/UK/Canada/Au/NZ conglomerate will now have to circle the wagons, restrict the flow of money, crash the currencies, and implement their longed-for CBDC. A walled off effort to preserve their essentially communist enterprise.
Aussies: Are we screwed?
Aussie PM: No, not at all. Also, here is some lube.
When you remove a wasp nest is when you see the most wasps. Attacking the nest does not make the problem worse, it merely shows why it was a problem in the first place for all to see. President Trump is getting rid of a dangerous nest while our “allies” are cowering inside the house looking through the windows.
There was a time not so long ago, where Britain and it’s former colonies would never let it’s vital supplies be threatened by a small aggressive nation. It is sad to see the emasculation of western civilization displayed so prominently.
Excellent analogy!
A country like Australia with its huge territory and natural resources should not be having energy problems.
Actually is does not have problems with resources but one with terrible governance and even worse leadership.
Self-immolation. But now they don’t even have the oil to dump gasoline on themselves. These Clowns are left running around giving each other wedgies
Interesting about the hand-wringing by Canada. Canada doesn’t have an oil problem, it has a refining problem. As in, Canadians don’t want that dirty industry nor manufacturing. They want to breath their pristine air, except when the annual forest fires from poorly managed resources pollute worse than coal and the smoke billows into the U.S. And they don’t want filthy manufacturing because of their pristine lakes and land that they keep that way by exporting their trash and hazardous materials to the U.S. for disposal. So if Canada has an energy problem, it is completely by its own doing. My advice: go to bed early with plenty of blankets.
Epsein Island Carney is robbing Canada blind; Canadians love it!
I can only laugh at these people Starmer Carney Macron Mertz Albanese, they all look like they need more Sun. Very anemic.
Trump is showing these loons OIL, OIL runs the world, not pinwheels or miles and miles of glass covered ground.
At some point the map of USA should e grey not yellow.
It will not be until which time you have finished removing all of what remains of 5th columns within the bureaucracies that are totally on board with the Build Back Better agenda.
Still very much a work in progress. The hysterics and vitriol aimed at President Trump and by extension MAGA is proportional to the setbacks to the plans against individual liberty.
I wonder what that map would look like for sanctions against Iran before the war to end their nuclear weaponization? How many of those yellow countries had meaningful sanctions against Iran in deed not just in words/writing??? Is there a connection between those countries not giving our military airspace or basing rights and those countries who were evading sanctions against Iran?
I guess this is one way to fulfill the reduction of the carbon footprint. They will have to start walking and leaving footprints instead of pressing on the gas pedal.
I’ve little reason to not believe that people, particularly those liberty loving peoples who understand what it means to be free, are the carbon units to be reduced.
For those in Rio Linda, here’s a translation of the Prime Minister’s statement:
“We will give you the opportunity to fully comply with our wishes. If you don’t comply, we will crush you with fascism.”
One question I NEVER see asked or answered. During COVID ,in the US , when people got fired for refusing the shot, why were the US Congress and their aides exempted from being forced to take the shots???
Many here know the answer.
My father always said to me ,if it doesn’t make sense ,it normally isn’t true.
Pray and help others.
Sundance has avoided the California energy implosion and other issues affecting the 5th largest economy in the world.
– Phillips66 refinery in Los Angeles closing
– Valero in Benicia closing, including direct fuel line to a local air force base
These two ^^^ are 20% of the state’s refining capacity.
– Chevron is threatening closure, 30% of the states refining capacity.
Could President Trump declare a temporary emergency and keep these sites in the queue? GOP Govrrnor candidate Steve Holton is polling strong!
Second, California is still starving farmers’ water deliveries. Three, four solid water years and some Central Valley farmers only got a 50% allotment (but paid 100% of the bill).
Inside baseball: some theorize the state is letting 80% of the fresh water flow out the Golden Gate Bridge to flush Bay pollutants out to the Pacific. Dozens of Bay cities have antiquated, leaking sewars and pipes.
Third: far Northern California is run by drug cartels and illegal ‘trimmigrants’. Hmong, Chinese, and Mexican cartels producing Billions in drugs, fouling our water supplies, and whete is the FBI? Whete is Kash Patel? Local Sheriff’s outmatched legally and outgunned. (Cartels played The Race Card to stop Sheriff’s pulling over water trucks.)
Too bad Australia’s Noble Leaders aren’t as good at building, securing, and maintaining the absolute 1A basics of civilization–like energy systems–as they were at harassing citizens at gunpoint, throwing them to the ground, choking them, stomping them with horses, tear-gassing them, etc. over “covid” nonsense.
Maybe they can gin up more “pandemic mandates” to force people back into their Panopticon hive cells. I mean HOMES. That should go over well. I hear the WEF/WHO/UN and other global governance cabals have all sorts of ideas for what the next fear-p0rn, I mean, TERRIBLE SCARY DOOM SPECK OUTBREAK could be.
Since must of our fuel resources are not from the Middle East why are our prices excelling at this rate.? These countries not adjusting are also quickly becoming the muzzled conquest of the communist war lords.. History repeats itself.. I vote for a new holiday where we slap a Democrat for being an elitist.. we can call it Slap a Democrat Day
All three have self imposed Energy issues; however the timing of the three speeches is classic whine politics. It is the same Carney play to American Dems and Congress Critters to try and weaken Trump’s policy and actions. And like Carney – how has that worked out so far.
These Beta Globalists are small minded fools.
