Three days ago, the Australian government was downplaying reports of a serious shortage of fuel. Today the Australian Prime Minister gives a national address and warns Aussies to conserve fuel, or else things will get sketchy.
In non-pretending terms: it’s Australia – PREPARE FOR THE SKETCHY!
The leaders of Canada, Great Britain and now Australia have delivered national addresses in the past 36-hrs about Iran, the subsequent energy issues and the geopolitical shifts currently underway they cannot control. Keep in mind, the other thing these countries have in common is they are four (count NZ in AU) of the Five-Eyes countries. The remaining eye is the USA, and President Trump is scheduled to deliver his national address tonight at 9:00pm Eastern.
For the folks down under it is worth remembering their COVID-19 experience. When the government starts saying, ‘we hope you will voluntarily consider doing XXX’, the next thing that comes in the ‘conservation’ effort are government mandates, travel restrictions, lockdowns, rations and severe authoritarian control mechanisms. It’s the Australian way.
For this example, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese delivers “a rare address to the nation” outlining his government’s response to the Middle East conflict and fuel crisis. “The months ahead may not be easy. I want to be up front about that,” Albanese warns. He then continues, “we will deal with these global challenges, the ‘[¹]Australian way’,” which should forewarn every person in Australia that government control mechanisms are being planned immediately. Good luck! WATCH:
.
I always found it rather remarkable that the countries who pushed the Build Back Better agenda the hardest; the countries who pushed climate change and complete restructuring of energy policies the most; were the exact same countries who triggered the expansive sanction regime against Russia. (reminder map below)
[¹] “The Australian Way“

Sanctions Map – Participating Countries in Yellow

Australia must be so proud.
Not really, heretofore, the reputation of staunch/courageous allies, now patsies, the new Australian Way; Quigley, Down Under would lear them a new way.
Albanese doesn’t seem koalafied…
He needs to bear down 🙂
Laughed
South Park did a funny show on that “earth” as a show called “Cancelled”.
Yep,
no free speech in those countries
murdoch and government media
Stuck on and island with tyrannical government and without a gun.
Best of luck!
And preferential voting.
They ate so screwed.
AND To THINK – AUSTRALIA STARTED AS a BRITISH PENAL COLONY…
no honor among thieves as they say.
Continuing the proud tradition.
Returning to their roots.
Half the country is descended from the prisoners and the other half from the guards.
That’s funny. I guess their households are captive audiences?
As the USA has proven without a doubt, in this time of tyranny, sadly, American gun owners do nothing (except talk). The only person to fire a defensive shot has been Kyle Rittenhouse.
Americans with guns had the same result as Australians without guns – jabbed, mandated, invaded by millions.
As an Australian who absolutley loathes our Communist Govt. and the Liberal Party who really are in a Unity with Labor, they are all peas in a pod.
Between them they have destroyed our great country.
Massive immigration, a huge shortage of homes, high interest rates, power charges probably the highest in the world.
Full support for Palestine and Muslims the Govt. donating taxpayers money to Mosques even after the Bondi massacre of 15 people. The list could go on and on.
When you have a Govt who imports massive amounts of people who vote Labor, Indians are high on that list,Unions, Public Servants who we have more of than ever before along with a preferential voting system this mob is going to be very hard to get rid of. If we don’t there will nothing left. Please don’t put us all in the same box.
I don’t know your pain, but I can see it from where I am.
I don’t recall being jabbed or mandated. I also recall being armed against the invaders.
i think that perhaps you missed the point
Counterpoint: talk, particularly talk putting forth complaints that others are not “fir[ing] defensive shot[s],” is cheap.
Fair point. The only thing we didn’t have is concentration camp style barracks…
If you think the two countries have had the same results, you are exceptionally poorly informed of reality and watch far too much TV.
Another tidbit for you – one doesn’t have to fire a weapon for it to be quite effective.
There was no force jabbing or mandating or shutting people in their homes or quarantine camps for travelers, or any of the other absolute insanity that went on in Australia in my neck of the woods – in significant part because of the presence of so many armed.
Whom would’ve you suggested shooting? How many did you shoot?
$10.37 diesel / $9.40 gas per gallon —> prices in Germany.
Feel free to be blessed.
We had to choose between “Low Energy Merz” or “Sleepy Scholz” last time around.
And we got rid of our “Crooket Ursula” only to have her as the leader of the EU-SSR
The chancellor is not directly elected in Germany. Voters elect parties to the Bundestag (parliament), which then form a coalition, and whose members of parliament elect the chancellor.
The vast majority of voters in Germany are fanatics and extremists. They are Nazis, but in “rainbow colors” instead of “brown.”
Consequently, the parties that won a large majority in the election are those that promised more war against Russia and support the EU-WEF agenda—climate policy and mass migration. There are also moderate parties in Germany, but they never stand a chance with German voters.
For anyone wondering – here are the sums
Diesel AU$3.20 per LITRE (multiply by 3.875 = Gallons) = AU$12.40 G = US$8.58 G = EU 7.40 G
Petrol AU$2.69 per LITRE = AU$10.42 G = US$7.21 = EU 6.22
For those who wish to kick Aussies because they came from Convicts- Not all of us did although I have 3 and my husband has 2. For those who wish to kick us because of the gun amnesty – it was exactly that, a voluntary gun “give-back”. Not that I agreed, but nobody had .
For those lucky enough to have escaped COVID lock-downs, we in Melbourne suffered the worst conditions in the world, and our children are still coming to terms with what we endured.
We are generally very quiet people (like most in the Five Eyes network, and do not fight back much, and maybe because of our convict past, we are generally very law abiding, from the Poms always ruling us. That is until the imported Africans and Lebanese who are now taking advantage of the peaceful ways. Our government are slow to react.
We seem to be the testing ground for most NEW whatevers the Globalists wish to push out.
We also have an increasingly large amount of US citizens moving here! Strange isn’t it?
You are such a great country and people. We joke but all I can do is wish you well.
Thank you. We are suffering from very bad government (socialist) both Federally and State. We have huge debts, and I cannot understand how we will ever change things. Nobody admits to voting for them, but some idiot must. At present they all get these smirky sneers, and talk the talk, but not walk the walk.
The Australian way. Get in the cattle car and shut up..
“I always found it rather remarkable that the countries who pushed the Build Back Better agenda the hardest; the countries who pushed climate change and complete restructuring of energy policies the most; were the exact same countries who triggered the expansive sanction regime against Russia. ”
Some would say there are no coincidences.
Just so happened to be the Covid totalitarians as well.
are we gonna see mad max type gangs chasing down fuel tankers?
Who runs Barter town??
“My life fades. The vision dims. All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos. Ruined dreams. This wasted land. But most of all, I remember the Road Warrior. The man we called “Max”.
To understand who he was, you have to go back to another time. When the world was powered by the black fuel. And the desert sprouted great cities of pipe and steel. Gone now, swept away. For reasons long forgotten, two mighty warrior tribes went to war and touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without fuel, they were nothing. They built a house of straw. The thundering machines sputtered and stopped. Their leaders talked and talked and talked. But nothing could stem the avalanche. Their world crumbled. The cities exploded. A whirlwind of looting, a firestorm of fear. Men began to feed on men.
On the roads it was a white-line nightmare. Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the highways, ready to wage war for a tank of juice. And in this maelstrom of decay, ordinary men were battered and smashed. Men like Max. The warrior Max. In the roar of an engine, he lost everything. And became a shell of a man, a burnt out, desolate man, a man haunted by the demons of his past, a man who wandered out into the wasteland. And it was here, in this blighted place, that he learned to live again…”
—Opening Monologue by The Narrator: The Road Warrior (titled Mad Max 2 in Australia,)

Quote: “Two days ago I saw a vehicle big enough to haul that tanker. You want to get out of here? You talk to me.”
It’s time to…….. tie your kangaroo down sport.

Europe and Down South will be entering a massive recession that will likely result in hundreds of thousands losing work.
You will have millions of unemployed men already angry but now with nothing to do…
Interesting times ahead.
And, their ability to move to the U.S. will be greatly diminished!
And, they will blame it on Orange Man Bad!
FAFO
Most Australian absolutely hate President Trump, the narrative by the media against him is relentless, especially the ABC.
If you ask some one why they hate him they cannot give you a decent asnswer.
Plenty of Americans hate him for many reasons and I’m a fan of him for many of the same reasons.
I was on a cruise with some Aussie’s recently and they all loved President Trump. Their complaint was that in Australia, you cannot call a spade a spade. You also will do as the government says or else. They want very much to have a populist movement. The guy I spent most of my time speaking with was a business owner. He said he cannot find good men to hire. He also said the dependent class has grown and the Chinese are the uber rich moving into the cities and buying $3M condos. It’ll surely be interesting times ahead.
We also have rich Indians who are buying all our businesses, and making houses unaffordable for our young, and pushing prices for everyone.
I have no problem with them, but the worry is will I still feel the same in the future?
Same with the Libtards here…they hate for the sake of hate. Joyless people, no sense of humor
All true, and they are not prepared to even listen when you attempt to correct their hate. MSM have been very successful in their narrative.
There is a strong level of support for Trump here, especially amongst the fast growing alternative party One Nation. A lot of people keep their politics to themselves here, and have always, until they are rubbed the wrong way. I have always supported him, long before he ran for President.
You will find that those who say they hate him are influenced by our MSM, and believe what they are fed, and also vote for the Socialists (Labor) or the Greens (idiots).
You will find that most people on the right, and people who can assess information the press are spewing, will never watch or believe the ABC, who are strongly aligned to the British BBS, and your leftist media. Our other media 7 and 9 in particular, The Age, Sydney Morning Herald also are full of crap.
And nothing to do it with, as one might say.
do you think the US will be spared that same recession?
I see the same happening in USA if Republicans lose the mid terms and then the next election.
I see a time of civil war befalling your once great country.
Trump has pulled you back from desperate times for now, but the next two elections will make or break your country.
Australia has already fallen to the Socialists, and those who were willing to open their eyes can see the shocking times that are indeed coming, others go day by day oblivious. We are struggling to turn the rot around, but it may be way too late.
Another anti Trump screed incoming, from the land down underneath.
Good. Makes me smile.
RE: The government will do everything in its power to assist Australians. Nobody believes that.
Why didn’t the government plan for this instead of digging Australia into a hole with net zero, windmills, solar panels, and mass immigration?
These will be the same people who put their thugs out against the civilians during COVID.
3-minute video on the thug behavior, they enjoyed it.

Countries with lots of windmills, lots of EVs, solar panels, should be able to shrug this off. But they are worst off. Funny that.
Charts? We don’t need no stinkin charts. We all knew it, it was purposeful.
“Purposeful” is the operative word. It’s not stupidity.
Sal does great work.
If you like a closet democrat; in fact, all three, i.e., Ward, Sal, and “Rain” on the Ward Carroll Youtube cast put off anti-Trump vibes/democrat vibes, IMO.
The guardian has been at the forefront of green advocacy in Australia, pushing for renewables and the energy transition away from fossil fuels. It’s a bit rich for the Guardian to complain at the energy outcome delivered by governments that followed its advice
Maybe PDJT will get Canada after all.
It’s the art of the deal.
Just thinking out loud.

Independence or transition to U.S. Statehood or territory or protectorate status, whatever gets us out from under the thumb of “Sideshow” Carnie and his WEF/New World Order freakshow in Ottawa.
“Just give us the gas and walk away” Lord Humungus MM2 Road Warrior
Despite massive warnings from PDJT to ‘get off the bench and into the fray’, most world leaders are operating in typical politician fashion; cowardice coupled to indecision…which always results in those tasked with leadership waiting after everything starts to fail then demand citizens buck up and suffer while they sit there and do nothing. Oh well, had warnings pal, now deal with your indecision and ineptitude.
Actually, cowardice coupled to indecision, made worse by hubris.
These are demons, they lie and steal while shearing sheep. Maybe, just maybe, people will……..think again. I really hold out no hope for that. I see the minds of all wrapped in a swaddling filament of digital numbing.
Our lord is a God of adversity. You either choose the hard path or find that the wide one is certain death.
100%. All one has to do is see how compliant half – or more – of the population was during the Covid PsyOp; “Go buy toilet paper!”…and they drove at breakneck speed to beat all the other sheep. “Where a mask and stay 6ft apart!”, and they did thinking that made them safe. “Get an [untested/no liability Mengele] shot!”, and they ran to shot stations without a single thought (for a manipulated cold virus, to which there has never been a vaccine for coronavirus). “Get a booster!”, and they got two or three of whatever was in that concoction. Then a bunch at all ages got adverse reactions or died unexpectedly, and they never once thought maybe why.
‘Hope that some will wake up’ is not in the cards, these people enjoy their soft cage captivity, entirely based in fear…which does not come from The Lord.
We are Kangarooted in Australia with this little communist Muslim loving spawn of the love boat. Never in our history has the Australia our forefathers developed and fought for been managed (purposely)so badly it makes old sleepy look competent.
He is called 3 minute Albo. This speech was to lull people into a good Easter and then bring in rationing after because it is all your fault we have no fuel. Two refineries, no drilling and it is someone else’s fault. He has a reputation for announcing then never following up. Australia is broke through welfare grift.
I guess that means the Aussies wont be going to the Middle East to get their oil.
You’re on a tear, Edink!
Check out how much 8 pints of bottled water are in your area compared to gas.
Thank you, Sundance!
Elbows Up Australians!
These aren’t the same eco-green bureaucrats who’ve been screaming for the end of fossil fuels while stealing taxpayers money funneling it into their pockets?? Say it ain’t so!
Didn’t Trump tell the 5-eyes bunch to come and get their own oil? Do they not have tankers or a navy? Or maybe they’re lacking in balls?
Another installed fraud doing as his WEF masters command.
Exactly. 100%
I always thought that the Australian Way was to knock back a twelve pack and nod off where ever you happen to be sitting.
Apparently it is now.
So in other words, their solution is to make the people suffer rather than do what they need to do to solve the problems..

When the nation elected JEC jr. to the office of POTUS #39, rather than ship over, I decided I could no longer fulfill my obligation to serve…
He may have been a good human being, but he was an Executive of FUBAR proportions.
As Carter brought us Reagan, Biden brought us Trump.
Carter was not a good human being.
Everybody talks about peanut allergies. I say that the real allergy Americans suffered was to Jimmah himself!
Some argue he was, hence my charity in saying he may have been…
Jimmah was a nasty cuss.
True, yet Carter also brought us the Shiite apocalyptic radical Mullahs. 47 years the world has endured their bullying. As have the Persian citizenry. Finally, VSGDJT did the heroic!
Yep. I agree completely.
WEF, also subscribes to never let a good crisis go to waste, when we can jam our ideology and ideas to control you down your throats and give their citizens crumbs, country after country.
I hope sincerely, that the EU possie and 5 eyes doesn’t bite their nose off to spite their face here, by not accepting fuel available right now, just because they won’t bend the knee to President Trump.
Spoiler end to the end of their shit show, antics.
FAFO. And they are there right about now.
Evil and stupid runs deep with this crowd.

Australia is one of the world’s great energy exporters by volume, but is creating a self-inflicted supply crisis at home through an increasingly hostile regulatory environment. They have the gas and oil but the government is killing it.
Australia suffers from many problems, including energy scarcity even though we are a net energy exporter floating on natural resources everywhere. it takes a special level of idiocy to achieve such an outcome.
We have oil and gas to burn. We have the second largest uranium deposits in the world. We are the world’s biggest coal exporter. BUT we are totally signed up to the green energy scam. It is almost impossible to develop any natural resources. We have banned oil and gas exploration and mining in huge parts of the country. It takes forever to get any development approved. Indigenous heritage claims, often spurious with no backing evidence, stop whole developments. Lawfare ties up every development in courts over garbage environmental and indigenous claims. It takes years and thousands of permits to get a mine up and running.
We have super high wages and dreadfully low productivity. We import people like there is no tomorrow, many straight onto welfare.
Our welfare system is super generous and extended to a huge percentage of the country.
Our main Conservative Party is so insipid and weak it makes the RINO GOP look like Ghengis Khan.
We should be energy dominant, we should follow the Trump model. Instead we have been steadily closing our oil refining and storage capacity. And we voted lying Albanese and his far left activist turds twice.
I hope the current crisis wakes Australia up.
I would hazard to guess that you Aussies did not in fact elect Albanese. Do you all use the same easily hackable election machines, with designed-in security backdoors, mandatory wireless access, vote counting at centralized locations, etc., like the USA, Venezuela, South America & most of the world? Election stealing is the norm worldwide, not the exception. The WEF wouldn’t have it any other way.
“You will own nothing and be happy!”
What great writing. Hoping for good things for our friends.
Thank you for the post. Could be America had Kamala been elected. Prayers for Australia Sir. Reminds one of California; all the resources, beautiful coastline, & idiots running the government. The 5 eyes seem to have a spiritual problem.
Sounds just like California.
Wouldn’t importing more diversity strengthen Australia?
This is a highly coordinated messaging campaign. The following leaders have all talked about “resilience” today; Starmer, Albanese, von der Leyen, Luxon (New Zealand), Carney.
The Resilience Coalition is involved in a Shadow Alliance with U.S. Democratic leaders to bypass the Trump administration’s agenda.
Here is a list of US dems using ‘resilience’ in their speeches this year; Newscum, Ruben Gallego, Whitmer, Schumer, Jeffries.
Noticed that as well…these clowns never learn. The anti-American and anti-Trump rhetoric is increasing, with tight coordination between all the usual suspects.
Albo, has never worked at a “real” job.
We have Uranium ore, LPG, Oil (+shale oil) plus plenty of Black & Brown coal.
And we have these Effing Greenies running (ruining) our country.
We here in Victoria – will never forget the Covid BS.
I never got the shots or followed the lockdown or distance from home limits.
Plus I went to many Protests!
Make Australia great again!
P.S. Very distressed about Gaza and now Iran!
21 million people walked through the front door and the USA did nothing. Lots of talk, nothing done.
Why would the Australians have an energy crisis when they have been “strengthening” their energy supply with windmills and solar panels?
The conflicts in Iran and Venezuela should have no effect on their Green Economy. They should be home free and excited about their eco-friendly energy supply. The upcoming winter in Australia will give them a chance to show the Bad Orange Man how a modern society can thrive on solar panels, batteries, and windmills.
Ever tried running a farm on renewables ?
Hahahah. Good commentary in today’s Coffee & Covid:
“Something remarkable broke loose yesterday, and the corporate media —preoccupied with its usual obsessions— completely missed it. Or maybe they didn’t miss it; maybe they just couldn’t figure out how to frame it without accidentally making Trump look like a genius. Let’s start with Ukraine —the linchpin of 2016-26 geopolitics— because that’s where this story really begins. Two days ago, Reuters reported, “Allies sent Ukraine ‘signals’ on reducing strikes on Russian oil, Zelenskiy says.”
“For the last two years, the collective West cheered every time Ukraine hit a Russian oil refinery. Zelensky was glowingly described as David slinging precision drones at Goliath’s wallet, cutting an estimated $150 million per day from Moscow’s war chest. He was a hero! He got standing ovations in Congress. He got magazine covers. The works.
“Then Iran happened.” Whatever it takes to get rid of Little Z.

Finally, Saudi Oil Pipeline Bypassing Straits of Hormuz to Mediterranean…
March 2026: Saudi Arabia and Syria have signed major agreements to rehabilitate Syria’s oil/gas infrastructure, with discussions on modifying pipelines to ease dependence on the Strait of Hormuz, part of a $2.8B reconstruction push. These efforts aim to restore Syrian energy production and integrate Syria into regional energy networks following a shift in political dynamics.
Key Aspects of the Saudi-Syrian Energy Projects:
Pipeline Projects: Plans include modifying a 1,664-kilometer pipeline to transport crude from northeastern Saudi Arabia to Syrian ports.
Infrastructure Investment: Saudi Arabia is financing the rehabilitation of damaged Syrian energy infrastructure, including pipelines and field development.
Rebuilding Efforts: Saudi companies are involved in technical services, drilling, and infrastructure development to boost Syrian gas production.
Regional Strategy: These projects are part of a wider effort by Arab states to support Syria’s economic stability
Background:
The Original TAPline: The historic Trans-Arabian Pipeline (Tapline) is a 1,648-km pipeline once connecting Saudi oil fields to the Mediterranean.
Rebuilding Efforts: Saudi Arabia and other nations are aiming to increase regional energy cooperation.
Syria’s Reconstruction: The efforts aim to help rebuild Syrian infrastructure following a decade of conflict.

Australia is governed by the Australian Labor Party. It is the equivalent of the Democrats in the US. The opposition is a coalition of the Liberal Party and the National Party. The Liberal Party is not liberal in the sense that Americans use the word ‘liberal’. The Liberal Party is based on Classical Liberalism, more or less similar to the Republican Party. The Nationals are primarily a rural focused political party. The ruling Labor Party are a committee version of Joe Biden. They are heavily invested in left wing social welfare policies and ideologically locked in to the crazy Net Zero climate change nonsense. The Liberal Party over the years has been taken over by so called “Wets”, who are the equivalent of Rhinos in America’s Republican Party. The Labor Party won government two years ago with only 32% of the primary vote and are very unpopular. The current Prime Minister ,Anthony Albanese is a career politicians with virtually no experience in the private sector. He is regarded as a weak and influential leader. The political landscape is changing quickly. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz has exposed Australia to shortages of oil and oil derived products, all while Australia sits on top of vast deposits of oil. Stupidity has reigned supreme in politics, just as it has in Europe. Change is needed and fast. Australia needs a Trump.
I’ve never seen a face so blank & devoid of decency and intelligence than his. He popularity is waning very fast. Pauline Hanson and her ONE NATION party is in the ascendant.
Don’t they have oil in Australia? Hard to believe it isn’t there somewhere.
That man looks and speaks evil. Wow. My sister-in-law is very glad she lives here instead of Oz.
AU has plenty of coal.
