President Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President Vance and other dignitaries participate in a dignified transfer ceremony at Dover AFB for the arrival of six servicemembers killed in Operation Epic Fury. The solemn and silent ceremony is presented below:
O Keeper of the dawn and dusk, hold them beneath Your steadfast wing.
Let the dust of distant roads not dim the light within their eyes.
When the night leans heavy on their shoulders, be the quiet fire in their hearts.
When the wind carries the scent of danger, be the shield they cannot see.
Guide their steps through shadowed valleys, let courage rise like rivers in their veins.
Bring them home to open arms and gentle laughter, and for those who cannot return, wrap them in the eternal peace that no battle can disturb.
~ Amen!

Thank you, Soldiers. Our condolences to the families.
Amen!!! Rest In Peace.
I can’t get over the respect and honor with which this is done.
Absolutely….Didn’t see PDJT check his watch once.
To be expected :
Legal Analyst’ Jill Wine-Banks took to X to shame Trump for wearing a white hat in a casualty return pic.
THAT hat says USA. You know, the country you liberals hate? That one.
When your entire world and agenda are built around hating one man, you’re bound to say and do stupid stuff. Clearly.
You forget to mention that he didn’t continually check his watch aka AutoPen that didn’t bother the MSM.
Heavenly FATHER,
Please hold the families these six servicemembers tightly in YOUR ALMIGHTY COMFORTING ARMS!
May they know their loved ones are safely with YOU. And may they know we as a people will never forget them. Comfort them please LORD JESUS in YOUR NAME we PRAY, AMEN
Amen!
Amen.
Amen. 🙏🏻
Welcome home, warriors.
We Honor you for your bravery, patriotism, and devotion to duty.
Your tour here is over, but will never be forgotten.
God Bless you all and your families.
Sundance, your prayers always spread comfort…Praying for comfort to the families missing their heroes….
God Bless America.
My ‘snark alert’…was it my imagination or did Bondi keep inching her way towards a position to be seen, and not be behind the Veep? or was it just camera angles…? Asking for a friend…
My snark alert-why in the world would Susie Wiles wear a bright white coat to a somber ceremony.
Wiles lives in Florida. Maybe the white coat was the only one she had available. The stores no longer have winter coats in stock, plus she has been dealing with a plethora of other details.
Isn’t white the color of mourning in some countries or cultures?
Okay, I agree. That’s trying too hard to give her a respectable “out.”
What does it really matter what outer coat color she wore? Talk about petty!
I think it does matter. This is a solemn ceremony, all the others are wearing dark subdued colors. And just like Petty, I won’t back down.
My snark is still stuck on a Commander in Chief obsessively checking his watch to see if the blame shows up on his watch..
Or too be fair, worried about missing Matlock??
Or Ice Cream time?
Amen. America honors you for your sacrifice. May you forever rest in the presence of The Lord.🙏🥹
Greater love has no one than this, that one should lay down his life for his friends.
Sundance, who is the author of the beautifully powerful prayer given above?
Sundance, another book…a collection of your many well loved prayers….?
A dignified return home, befitting our fallen heroes.
Contrast with Autopen, who kept looking at his watch when our fallen soldiers made their final journey from Afghanistan. All the more egregious since it was his ineptitude that got them killed.
RIP, soldiers. May God hold you in his hands.
The silence of the ceremony heightened its poignancy, in my mind. The closure of the vans’ doors at the end brought me to tears.
Notice at the end, with the vans now laden with their precious cargo, the saluting soldiers can be seen reflected in the vans’ windows.
God bless these men, and of course, their grieving families.
Amen.
RIP Brave Warriors. My deepest condolences to the Families & Loved Ones of the fallen soldiers; all American Patriots mourn with you.
Military Honors are deeply moving, and this administration is showing the authentic respect these families deserve… the company culture trickles down from the top for sure.
Thank You POTUS & FLOTUS Trump et al.
I’ve don’t waste my times with funerals. When I finally get promoted, just stick my remains in an oven and cast the ashes over the sea. Cya!
I used to be of the same mind. I’ve since realized that funerals are not for the dead, but for the living. The one I attended today was filled with talks about how the one who passed had so wonderfully affected their lives. When it’s your time, don’t deprive those who love you of their need to grieve.
If that’s your situation, sure. I understand. But I’ve manned the rails past the USS Arizona with the Navy steaming into Pearl Harbor and you just can’t take a young man like I was and toss him into those bars on Westpac in those days without some trouble but I received an honorable discharge and went to college graduating with a master’s degree. There’s no one behind me to worry about so I just don’t care about the funeral ritual. I’m pressing forward and when God promotes me, I’m not looking back. Ready to lead, ready to follow, never quit.
Absolutely! When it’s possible to celebrate and share that family members life it makes a more meaningful impact on those who are grieving.
Wow. Never seen any administration in my lifetime show up in full force.
No greater sacrifice. May you all rest in peace.
And look, no one checked their watch….
But we did have a president who kept his baseball cap on. A staggering, record-breaking display of narcissistic disrespect.
ALL the gentlemen kept their hats on – so your accusation obviously applies equally to all;
why single out POTUS?
There’s never another word for me to add to your eloquent prayers SD except these,
In Jesus name, Amen.
The traitors in CONgress should have been forced to attend and line the rear ramp of that aircraft.
Whatever happened to “nine to the front and six to the rear, that’s the way we do it here”??? That’s how they taught marching back when I was a snuffie.
The ceremony would have been more dignified, if soldiers from The Old Guard had done it. JMO.
Learning the discipline to march well in formation, was a rock bottom skill taught early in basic training. The entry of casket bearers with their white gloves emphasized the lack of that skill.
To their credit, the tall company-grade officer at the rear of the casket-bearer formation, knows how to march. Perhaps he learned the skill while marching off demerits at Woo Poo. Also, the female soldier leading the bigwigs around did well. As did most of the star-wearers, to a somewhat lesser extent.
FWIW, These soldiers are all members of a National Guard unit.
Their colleagues I believe, formed the Honor Guard detail, they’ve earned that right.
Marching in a parade and being a member of an Honor Guard for your own, are very different circumstances.
May they Rest In Peace
Knowing how to march, and being a member of an honor guard, are within the same set of circumstances. Don’t matter which unit was involved.
Members of that NG honor guard certainly did earn that right. But better skill should have been expected from them.
If they have not learned “nine to the front and six to the rear”, what other basic skills have they not learned?
Some of us gave a little, some gave all they had…🇺🇲
Good night, brave and honorable soldiers, may flocks of angels sing thee to thy rest. And may you now look upon God’s face and finally know his all consuming love.
Thank you for your service. ✝️
RIP. We’ll take it from here.
All gave Some…….Some gave All.
I couldn’t even continue watching. It was so somber and so profound. Bless these protectors of our country.
Amen.
Vice President Vance made the Sign of the Cross as the group stood at the bottom of the ramp. Beautiful.
An excellent movie on this sad subject is “Taking Chance.”
Why does Bondi show up everywhere Trump is for a photo shoot? You’d think the Attorney General of the United States would have plenty of office work to do….
That was very moving. Godspeed to the soldiers and prayers to the families of these fallen heroes. May God grant them comfort and peace.
