This is one of those conversations that hints around the edges of what the collapse of globalism actually entails. As noted in the beginning of the WEF panel discussion by Christine Legarde, the construct of global economics was built upon a foundation of interdependent trade dependencies. If nations are no longer reliant upon other nations for sourcing of goods and services, the global construct of banking and finance then begins to collapse.
Globalism in its economic construct is a series of dependencies. If those dependencies are severed, if each country has the ability to feed, produce and innovate independently, then the entire dependency model around globalism collapses.
Within the globalism model that was historically created there was a group of people, western nations, banks, finance and various government leaders, who controlled the organization and rules of the trade dependencies. The action being taken for self-sufficiency, in combination with the approach promoted by President Trump that each nation state should generate their own needs, then the rules-based order that has existed for global trade will collapse.
If nations are no longer dependent, they become sovereign – able to exist without the need for support from other nations and systems. If nations are indeed sovereign, then globalism is no longer needed and a threat of the unknown rises. How will nations engage with each other if there is no governing body of western elites to make the rules for engagement? The need for control is a reaction to fear, and it is the fear of self-reliance that permeates the elitist class within the control structures.
Global trade is now beyond goods and services and into the world of automated artificial intelligence. Legarde notes the tech sector wants/needs access to more global data in order to create the control systems of tomorrow. However, again the problem arises when sovereign nations refuse to dump their independent data into the bucket of data dependency.
If each nation of the world is operating according to its individual best interests, the position of Donald Trump, then what happens to the governing elite who set up the system of interdependencies. This is the core of their fear.
If each nation can suddenly grow tea, what happens to the East India Tea Company. Who then sets the price for the tea, and worse still an entire distribution system (ships, ports, exchanges, banks, etc.) becomes functionally obsolescent.
In very real and actionable terms, some nations may sell cars without seatbelts, cultures might be different, even trans rights might not be recognized.
Yes Alice, in this independent and sovereign world they are talking about, things will be very different.
Freedom is that pesky thing to be managed. OMG! The horror of it. GASP!
“Those pesky proles might even barter with one another. Then what happens”?

Sorry, after the introductions I had to stop. These people (I use the term loosely) make my blood boil.
Watching this one next 💯
MAGA FABULOUS!!

“If nations are no longer dependent, they become sovereign – able to exist without the need for support from other nations and systems.” — Sundance
The same applies of course to people: If citizens are no longer dependent, they too become sovereign — able to exist without the need for support from the governments that control them.
That’ll be the day.
It was a novel idea to set up a system of government some 250 years ago based on the concept that the primary role of the government should be to ensure that the right of each individual to govern themselves should not be infringed by that government, any other body, or any other individual. Unfortunately this system of government depended on those in government and those they served “being moral and religious people”. As was predicted at the time of founding this system of government has proven to be “wholly inadequate to the government of any other” type of people.
First I found the discussion absolutely fascinating; and second the answer to the question (who sets prices) simple – NO ONE!
This really is a paradigm question , and the answer is that when the paradigm shifts, EVERYONE goes back to zero. So yes there will be a lack of control; (for the controllers, a mind boggling proposition of fear) however the control; will shift to the people (for good or bad).
Donald Trump is perhaps the most significant change agent since Jesus Christ and history will record the event as such.
Globalism IS socialism, a system that takes a pair of scissors to the words “We The People” in our Declaration of Independence and tries to replace it with ‘We the elites who know better than the people.’
Nearly a decade ago, Barack Hussein Obama warned his fellow globalists about a “crude sort of nationalism” that can manifest itself in populist movements.
So populism is a bad thing? Must be, if the Progressive’s cherished Black Messiah says so!
But maybe not, because nobody’s listening to him anymore!
That says it all. When the people unite in pursuit of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, the globalist elites cringe and say how dare you!
Nationalism isn’t crude, it is essential for the self-determination of peoples. Without it, you have stale old pieces of toast like Klaus Schwab telling us that by 2030 We The People will own nothing…and we will be happy about it!
It took a fearless, masculine President like Trump to put the lie to that kind of delusional thinking…thinking that only survives in a bubble, fueled by lunches of chateaubriand and Cabernet Sauvignon…LOTS of Cabernet, with nary a bug on the menu!
And here we are, with old Klaus’ life’s work lying in ruins and Barack’s hollow pontificating relegated to the irrelevance it always deserved.
And we owe it all to Trump!
Amen to to that l.t.b.
and we the people who voted for him.
The middle men, created a system and rules
that benefits the middle men
Shocking
It’s high time to say “Goodbye” to Globalism!
I came away from the video with 3 things:
Maybe those points were obvious to everyone else who took the time to watch the video, maybe not.
My distrust of the panel members was reconfirmed and my desire to see organizations like the WEF, the EU, NATO, etc.. go away increased.
I agree with ending the WEF & EU but NATO is a different animal. I see nothing wrong with security agreements to disincentivize Rouge nations from war. The problem with NATO was who paid the bill. That’s being changed. But there is a question of whether or not we need to be members.
it’s all good with PT leading the way.
maybe the WEF Finance and Banking Panel
can find honest employment and conquer their fears.
so, complete with a bossa nova beat, here’s a little encouragement😆:
The buried lede – Sovereignty will allow the yoke of ‘globalism’ to be removed from so many countries and allow them to prosper. Globalism is all about explotation.
You can’t have full Globalism, because as we found out during COVID, other countries will stockpile scarce goods and not share them. Countries can not rely on other nations for critical supplies. For these goods and services, such as national defense and pharmaceuticals, each country needs to be self sufficient. This does not, however, preclude mutual defense pacts, or free trade on a global scale. What it does mean, is that the fat cats who are currently pulling the strings will be reduced to a subordinate role and this is why the Globalists have their hair on fire.
Thinking about this global/central rule thing, I see the connection to the creep, creep, creep of disarming the people across the world.
Christine Legarde should have been in jail for her fraud in France and not addressing people in Davos.
Thank you Sundance you never disappoint. Unfortunately I think most of what President is accomplishing is difficult for most to comprehend. Forget the leftists they are completely useless and our to engulfed in their rage to understand anything. I worry that some in our own ranks are not seeing it. Trumps foreign policy accomplishments are incredible to help restore our great Republic and put the globalists where they belong. I know it takes time but kitchen table concerns need to be addressed soon. God bless President Trump, Mr. Sundance and all the wolverines who make this great Republic the wolds greatest.
AI+CBDC IS THE GREATEST EVIL EVER CONCEIVED: HELL ON EARTH
AI DISCUSSION
These people know less about AI than I do, not much
There is no provable business case for AI other than eliminating humans from economic activity
interestingly enough, the tech lords are focused on eliminating their hordes of programmers first, their only real cost
The big companies are hoping to be able to eliminate most or all of their white collar workers. Doctors, lawyers, tax, accounting, customer service etc etc etc.
AI combined with Digital currency is an all seeing surveillance and control system
WARFARE AI WHERE DECISIONS ARE REQUIRED FASTER THAN HUMANS CAN PROCESS THE DATA
One application where is promising is intelligent missile attacks and intelligent missile defenses, that are able to rapidly adapt during the hypersonic attack and defense, battling algos.
Globalism is Communism with a modernized name. People that want to rule us want us to own nothing and live in 15 minute hell holes. Censored and crushed. They think they are gods.
the money changers have always been cut from the cloth of satan, not God…
Black rock must be very upset as they are the one traveling the world with the $14 trillion rebuilding nations financing everything and doing everything! So the video by James O’Keefe was right when he’s undercover at Davos and you have the James Bond villain, saying we have black rock funding everything Add Swiss English/German accent to that and you get what I’m saying.
With that said Black rock in any 401(k) or investment house should not be allowed to buy single-family homes and should immediately be forced to put those on the market not within 5 to 10 years as Trump is previously stated but within 10 months. Unfortunately, this will cause a massive dumping onto the financial markets, but this way we can get some things to move and get reality back. With that said they should also be held personally and financially accountable for the devastation they have caused the UN with the assistance of Black rock and let’s discuss. What are we gonna do about them admitting to Geoengineering and putting aerosol’s in the stratosphere! We do not want this, and those should be held accountable that have entertained and actually done things.
LOL! The banking cartels ALWAYS fund both sides of every policy and event. They are the criminals that create FAKE MONEY out of thin air and then charge interest for creating DEBT. This Ponzi scheme or whatever you want to call it is CRIMINAL. Charging interest for producing NOTHING! The world is a darker place because of the TRILLIONS of currencies in DEBT they have created. It’s just a house of cards and they get rich.
Absolutely fascinating discussion by some of the most powerful investors in the world. The Brit historian, Toozel, was interesting, LeGarde was LeGarde, but revealing, and it was definitely worth hearing what Fink and Griffin had to say.
I understand Sundance’s analysis above, and agree with it. But, I do not think that should be the take away from this WEF panel. … And, there is much wishful thinking in the comments.
First, I listened to the entire discussion, pausing the clip often to make notes.
Next, this discussion was apparently “scripted”, and the audience was not CTH readers but rather the sycophants present at Davos.
The panel delivered a mock debate as to why: centralization / “scale” is necessary; China is the enemy; “The World” needs a saviour – AI is it; the world is nowhere near a bond market “redline”; “central banks” may disappear; “legislative branches” have abdicated fiscal prudence; America needs more socialism (“national unemployment insurance”); “monetary policy” cannot be made rigid by [precious metal standards]; “tariffs bad”; … “tokenization and digitization of currency is the future”; increase “transaction economies”; “blockchains ‘good'” (loss of privacy).
There is the “Twilight Zone” episode: “To Serve Man”. … Recall the ending: “It’s a ‘cookbook'”.
This mock debate was in reality delivery of a purposeful plan – a “One World Government” based on a return to feudalism and voluntary servitude by the willfully blind (driven by their personal interests).
Watch the recording again, turn on the transcript, pause and make notes. You’ll be surprised by what you hear.
The very premise of their losing control is exactly what is required! Let them Davos that.
The Challengers of the Unknown! [tm]
There is a qualitative difference between interdependent trade dependencies upon which you are reliant, vs trade among nations for items that are not existential or vitally important. There is a difference between Finland wanting a shipment of bananas that they cannot grow themselves, versus Finland being reliant on another country for their energy needs.
The Europeans are just a unified Mafia to control their citizens, not for their benefit. So this Mafia is all in to destroy Trump and our country. The worst allies that say, they support America and the president. Their defeating problem they all have is, emotional response, they cannot understand logic
Has anybody noticed? “Globalism isn’t working anymore.” It’s had its day in the sun, quietly eating its own substance, as one nation after another becomes a shadow of its former self.
These people are also wrong to assert that “the global financial system” will melt-down if Globalism goes away. In fact, it would be far more resilient, vibrant and robust. Because then it would be real.
The simplest illustration of how and why Globalism is failing is – the presence of “nonsensically gigantic ‘debts,'” virtually everywhere. We pretend that these debts are real, and that somehow they will one day be repaid. But they are not: they are simply sources of currency-units to inject into circulation. In place of actual goods and productivity.
The Treasury issues “bonds,” and a magical organization called the Federal Reserve just-as-magically “buys them.” Presto! “Money” appears! Notice that whenever the Treasury decides to do this, no one can tell them “no.” And the Federal Reserve always, somehow, has the cash. There is no “credit limit,” because the “loan” will never be paid back and no one cares.
These currency units do not correspond to anything at all. On the books, they simply exist. These “rich” people have indeed become “nonsensically rich,” because their “money” has become nonsense. Cue the fairy-tale of “Rumpelstiltskin.”
The combined value of every salable asset plus every service available in the entire United States would not come close to the book-value of its national “debt.” (sic …) Hence, that debt is meaningless, and so are the currency units that it has generated.
President Trump taking care of the UN and the NWO in the same week!
“If each nation can suddenly grow tea, what happens to the East India Tea Company. Who then sets the price for the tea, and worse still an entire distribution system (ships, ports, exchanges, banks, etc.) becomes functionally obsolescent.”
Well said.
(Some) interdependency would be a good thing if the people in charge were not parasites working to destroy us — to make themselves so rich and us so poor and ignorant that we are dependent on them and not the other way ’round.
(Some) globalism could be a good thing if the people in charge were not trying to build absolute extractive monopolies, so that if we want energy, medicine, housing or food, we must pay 10 times their production cost or go without.
(Some) networking is a good thing if the people in charge let it be used for the benefit of the people contributing to the network, rather than use the network to tax, abuse and control the people caught in it.
Mentally unfit to govern. Spiritually unfit to govern. Physically unfit to govern. Psychologically unfit to govern. Gonna be rough.
They are truly afraid of Laissez-faire capitalism being unleashed on the world. The opposite of control.
What is a globalist to do when they cannot compete. Their inability to compete is the reason they steal.
President Trump is a genius, and he does not worship Satan.
Same can be said for individuals….if they become debt free they have no need for the banks (who are part of the global cabal looking to subdue them as sovereign individuals).
Pay your credit cards in full each month and feel the freedom– I do.
What if the wef were moabed during this live event? We can dream, right? I suppose sarc/ :-
