On Sunday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Trump emissaries Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner met with the Ukraine negotiating team in Florida to further discuss acceptable terms for a broader ceasefire and end to the war.
Still trying to recover from corruption charges against his senior presidential team, Volodymyr Zelenskyy was not at the talks. Instead, the Ukraine delegation was led by State Security Council Secretary Rustem Umerov, while Zelenskyy went to Paris for an emotional support session with Emmanuel Macron.
Secretary Rubio and Secretary Umerov spoke before and after their 5-hour negotiation session. Secretary Rubio emphasized the main topic as securing the long-term future of Ukraine both from a security position and from an economic prosperity position.
This state security aspect comes as the Ukraine delegation is facing pressure to accept, they will lose most -if not all- of the Donbas region to Russia. “The end goal is obviously not just the end of the war. Obviously, that’s central and fundamental,” Rubio said. “It’s also about securing an end to the war that leaves Ukraine sovereign and independent and with an opportunity at real prosperity.”
In better-than-expected news, the EU is now saying they will not comply with any removal of sanctions against Russia. If the U.S-Russia and Ukraine work out a negotiated settlement that permits legal or economic relief for Vladimir Putin, the European Union will not agree and will instead make up their own decision on the issues.
Europe is holding this position as a threat, because President Trump is not fully consulting with them on all the granular details. However, this is the type of threat that is exactly beneficial to what appears to be the long-term strategy of Trump.
If Europe refuses to remove sanctions or legal threats against Russia, but the U.S. negotiates the removal of U.S treasury and financial sanctions against Russia, then the Europeans have chosen to stay behind the locked door of economic benefit. More than two-thirds of the world does not participate in the sanctions at all.
If Europe and Canada continue blacklisting Russia, the U.S-Russia energy development program gains exclusive benefits to Trump, Putin and other allies like Mohammed bin Salmon (Saudi Arabia), ASEAN nations and even Japan.
In very practical terms, someone like Viktor Orban (Hungary) would like nothing more than to violate ongoing Brussels sanctions against Russia, and as a consequence create a fracture point for European Union exit.
In practical terms, what would this look like? Well, the entire world would have lower energy prices, lower oil and natural gas prices, and lower gasoline prices by big margins. Meanwhile, Europe would have a massive disparity in their much higher energy costs – likely double the rest of the world. Think about the ramifications. Hungary, Georgia, Montenegro, and Serbia with 50% lower prices on gasoline and electricity than the EU. lolol It would be funny.
Unfortunately, with this in mind I find the EU threats hollow. As soon as the U.S-Russia-Ukraine work out a peace and security agreement, Europe will comply with whatever terms are negotiated for Russia. Failure to do so only isolates the Europeans and will create a problem amid their collective mindsets.
(Via Axios) Negotiations between the U.S. and Ukraine on Sunday focused on where the de facto border with Russia would be drawn under a peace deal, two Ukrainian officials tell Axios. They described the five-hour meeting as “difficult” and “intense,” but productive.
Why it matters: Russian President Vladimir Putin — who’s expected to meet with President Trump’s envoy on Tuesday — insists Russia won’t stop until it controls the entire Donbas region in eastern Ukraine.
After an hour in a wider format, the meeting narrowed to three officials from each side — with the line of territorial control virtually the only issue discussed, according to the two Ukrainian officials.
On the U.S. side were Witkoff, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Trump’s adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner. The Ukrainian side was represented by national security adviser Rustem Umerov, military chief of staff Gen. Andrii Hnatov and deputy head of military intelligence Vadym Skibitskyi.
After the talks with their teams ended, Umerov held another one-on-one meeting with Witkoff. Umerov then called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to brief him on the talks.
“It was intense but not negative. We really appreciate serious U.S. engagement. Our position is that we have to make everything to help U.S. succeed without losing our country and preventing another aggression from happening,” one of the Ukrainian officials wrote to Axios after the meeting.
Between the lines: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had wanted to discuss territory directly with Trump, but Trump said he’d only meet Zelensky or Putin again once a deal is close.
Umerov is expected to meet Zelensky in Paris on Monday and give him a more detailed report about the negotiations, Ukrainian officials say.
Witkoff plans to depart for Moscow on Monday and meet Putin on Tuesday.
“The main question is where the Russians stand and if their intentions are real. Let’s see what Witkoff brings from Moscow,” a Ukrainian official said. (more)

“Zelenskyy went to Paris for an emotional support session with Emmanuel Macron.” Too funny!
For Zelensky the choice was either cuddles with Macron, or being wiped the floor with by Trump . He chose wisely.
Yes. He chose wisely.
He chose cowardly. FIFY.
And Macron’s boyfriend/wife
Rumor has it the therapy included a joint piano session with Zelensky and Macron’s elderly husband re-living one of the things that made the little cokeheaded sodomite famous in the early days…
New strings for EU’s puppet?
If I was Trump I’d be pissed. You can’t make it? To decide the fate of your country? But you can go to France. Ok I see. Zelensky -50pts.
Frenchie must have gotten a new Happy Sack of marching powder.
How long before Russia could take Odessa?
A: lunchtime.
Now that is funny!
Not long……. 🤷♀️
Military Situation In Ukraine On December 1, 2025 (Maps Update)South Front
Many years.
Any time Russia wants to take it.
Ukraine will fight to last $
As long as it’s our dollar……………
“How it’s going:” would be a great outcome!
Less for the US taxpayers to rebuild.
Will be it ….01/15/26 ??
Not only should Odessa be repatriated to the RF, but the perpetrators of the Odessa Trade Council atrocity should be brought to justice. Reparations, war crimes trials and a hearing, with consequences, at the UN on the bioweapons labs.
Why in the h*ll is Kushner part of this process?
Why not? Looks like the 3 amigos are working well together. Are you asking just because you want division on our side or something more nefarious? No inquiries please. 👀
i reserve the right to ask any damned question i want of “my” government.
Mulley— check this out!
🤣 😉 Maybe he is coordinating the little green gnome escape?
During his TV show there was actually an episode
to avoid corruption charges a disguise and escape
to Israel………
The “weird “ part….one of his top men…Mindich just escaped
Ukraine to avoid corruption charges. 😳He is now in Israel.
Clip in Xpost…sometimes the script writes itself. 😳😳
Kanary is just one of the “smart “ youngsters.
Lot of research and information 😉

It’s almost damned time to stop asking questions from our government! Most go unanswered anyway.
It’s going to get way uglier before it ever gets better. Cold anger indeed.
see my other posts WfH…is that the new standard on this site; any time we have thoughtful questions about our leadership that less-than-subtle assertions of “division on our side or something more nefarious(!)?” are the assumed motivation. I hope not, otherwise we’re entering fricking scary territory — on this site, and as a country.
Are Trump supporters, conservatives, Constitutionalists (sorry for the verbose text) suddenly thrown off the bus if we don’t blindly toe the line of leadership. I encourage all to go back and look at the certain history of what can happen to republics when they become consumed by blind loyalty no longer tolerates alternative views. Start with Orwell.
He get results that aren’t possible.
I think POTUS put him with to Witkoff to learn how to operate effectively and diplomatically. Jared is buttoned up and so stiff. Relax man.
Jared knows that the ONLY reason he is anywhere near D.C. and the politics therein is because of who he is married to.
I’d like to know why Rubio is a part of the process. Sure, supposedly ‘Secretary of State,’ but ain’t this ‘sposed to be a ‘peace process?’
Dillon, how is your weather in Pakistan?
Pakistan is you folks’ now. You knew that, right?
Rubio is proving to be very good at working towards peace. Is he still a neocon, probably, but he is at least a realistic one. He does not do a lot of pretending and he is not a globalist. So, maybe he is pro-Israel but against the Brits? Hmmm….
Kushner is Jewish, is that why you are asking?
So is Zelensky 🤷♀️
” It’s like they are mocking everyone who doesn’t know
the reality of the situation “
What are the chances…….?
Maybe Kushner is coordinating the escape plan?
Karen, Esq. (@kanarymine3): “Who is writing the script? C’mon now.” | XCancel
That’s what I’m thinking. There’s no other reason for Kushner to be there.
As joint author of the Abraham accords and a Jew in the Khazarian bloodline like Zelinski, maybe there are other reasons for Kushner to be there. Trump leans on him for difficult peace agreements, perhaps he is there to learn and to support. He might also be Trump’s check on Rubio, whose prior neocon bent is known.
Kushner is checking out condos for Zelensky in Miami.
“Pretense of secret nonsense is a symptom of Anti-Semitism”.
That question has a “you must be a Candace Owen or Nick Fuentes” innuendo. Projection, much?
See the other posts on this topic that focus on facts and reasoning vs. veering into quasi-ad hominem territory…
The Game; your anti-Semitism is showing. Don’t go away mad, just go away, no anti-Semites here.
Explain, with facts and reasoning, how I am an anti-Semite.
Perhaps Jared earned his street cred with the Abraham Accords. Also, if he actually sucks we’d hear about it.
My guess is he’s smart and adds value.
Sure street creds that in 2022 led to a $2 billion dollar investment in Kushner’s Affinity Fund investment firm by Saudi Arabia. Kushner’s experience is in real estate not private equity. Saudi Arabia is a country whose culture is still tribal and clannish. Those near the royal family get the deals, so it isn’t surprising that Saudi Arabia would do this. If Kushner was not Trump’s son-in-law this deal would not have happened.
he did suck. and we HAVE heard about it.
thus the questions.
Actually, he’s dumber than a box of rocks. It took a lot of money to get him into Harvard.
N/M
Affinity Partners may be diversifying from ME countries??
Equally frustrated, my guess is to further enrich himself, like last time. If any of the reporting from Emerald Robinson or Patrick Byrne is true, Jared did nothing to stop the steal in 2020. Just walked away. I personally felt both Jared and Ivanka left Trump high and dry but that is my view looking in.
And something that’s never been discussed is Ivanka is a 2015 member of the WEF’s Young Global Leaders. In 2015 she knew her dad was running for President.
Before Trump became President Ivanka was the typical wealthy spoiled child, spending summers at the Hamptons, being seen at the right parties, she even was at one of P Diddy’s parties back in the 1990s before he went on his crime spry. She’s stayed out of the limelight for Trump’s second term, which is good given the viciousness of those that have TDS.
“And something that’s never been discussed is Ivanka is a 2015 member of the WEF’s Young Global Leaders. In 2015 she knew her dad was running for President.”
Joining WEF’sYoung Global Leaders for personal gain, or was this done as a covert reconnaissance mission to gather insider information prior to the announcement of the run for president?
Trump spoke at WEF multiple times. Although, they were rather dismayed at his last speech.
Please, no references to Patrick Byrne.
I’m a 3-time Trump voter but I will throw the “yellow flag” when necessary. Jared Kushner bailed on his father-in-law when the Establishment agreed they’d shut down Trump’s challenge to the 2020 outcome, then really high-tailed it after J6…with sons-in-law like thst, who needs enemies?
Then he shows up, out of nowhere, after 4 years of hedge fund development for his own benefit in the Middle East…in raising this concern fellow Treepers toss out anti-Semitic and anti-trump innuendo at me vs remembering Jared for the heel he was in those critical months that Biden stole control of the country? Give me a break; how bout some critical thinking?
Dont take it from me, read up on articles (including “friendlies” to Trump) from the past as a reminder of who Jared is 👇

Ain’t none of us in Trump’s inner inner circle that I can see. It’s also possible Trump wants Kushner on the front lines like a father would his child to toughen him up and enhance his knowledge of diplomacy/world affairs.
And we don’t know anything about what Trump knows about ole Jared that he continues to keep him in the game/frontlines as it were. When the ball is being pushed down field we need to give the coach his call.
Finally as someone who has tripped, stumbled and fumbled many things in life, thank God he continues to forgive me and keep me in the game. Amen 🙏🏽
WFH, respectfully…if we’re going to invoke “ain’t none of us in Trump’s inner circle that I can see”…Then why do ANY of us post, including SD. Pretty sure he’s not in the inner circle meetings! Applying that approach, we should all shut up and blindly follow our leaders, whom we should all be praying for — for divine guidance in a really impossible job.
I invoke the Berean philosophy of the First Century Church, who would challenge the teachings of the Apostles to ensure they were consistent with Scripture (and they were!). The takeaway: be loyal, faithful, but always test the fruit from the tree.
As a fellow 3-time Trump voter, I’m interested in hearing from you exactly how Kushner could possibly hinder the Ukraine peace process.
You come across like you basically just don’t like the guy, so please go into explicit detail as to what harm can come from his involvement in Ukraine peace.
VTH: see my “response to my post”…In my business, and life in general, I don’t associate with people who hang me out to dry, and that’s what Jared did. It’s one thing to “keep enemies closer”…it’s another thing to bet the farm on their performance on existential matters (I think Ukraine fits that description).
If I’m missing substantive issues, please offer your perspective. That’s why I love CTH: Constitutionalists are inherently free/critical thinkers, and we welcome civil, fact-based insights.
It’s very disappointing to see the “anti-Semitic” label thrown around from a basic disagreement. That is a Dem tactic, usually they say racist instead. You can disagree with someone without being prejudice in any way. It pains me to see it being used here. Treepers are better than that
You are apparently unaware of Kushner’s effectiveness with such matters during the 1st Trump Administration. He has proven himself valuable to negotiations.
“Prior performance is not an indicator of future performance — especially after stabbing your President/family member in the back, as well as everyone screwed by the J6 criminality. Then there’s this little conflict of interest issue — i.e., accepting several billion from Middle East Nation States in Kush’s Affinity hedge fund. I dunno, the Midwesterner that I am thinks it’s harder to take hardline stances in existential negotiations when those involved will remind you of their 9-digit investments!
Sigh, I’ll probably be “MTG’d” for not being on the Kushner bandwagon.
Opinions are allowed here, even if wrong, provided they are not personal attacks.
It sounds like you may not be aware of Kushner’s prior successes in diplomatic negotiations with foreign nations. President Trump has voiced his enthusiastic support for his son-in law several times. You have to concede that the President probably knows Jared’s personal character better than any other DC official.
Pres. Trump has certainly known Jared longer than most current Trump Admin officials.
I daresay we do not know nearly half of what transpires behind closed doors in the negotiations or even PDJT’s selection of negotiating teams. So asking about PDJT’s reasons for selecting anyone for any particular task leaves us to only able to speculate.
GB: love those initials, as a Packer fan!
I’d love for Sundance to resurrect this story down the road, once this issue with Ukraine (if possible) gets resolved. It will be fascinating to see if any of the expressed concerns come to light…then we can our collective perspectives now vs then…and apply any lessons learned going forward…
I’ll reiterate, apply the Berean test, leveraging discernment of the Holy Spirit — as I teach my kids in Sunday School…none other than Christ and our Loving Father are exempt, taught by none other than Apostle/Saint Paul
😄 HAH. I’m not from Green Bay and have only been to Kenosha and Milwaukee WI. But I understand any football fan ‘s love of the Packers history.
The Berean style of researching is surely applicable to proving or disproving many alleged facts that we encounter.
The key – and challenge – is trying to find known proven sources by which to measure other assertions within the same topic.
The Holy Bible is the only source we know was breathed from God via the Holy Spirit. Everything else comes from fallible men and women.
And thus the challenges are large.
You did not reply to the assertions of GBs post at all. Neither did you specify or define how these concerns may manifest.
Help me out David. What issues did I miss in responding to GB?
Please list them, and I’ll do my best to objectively respond.
You would prefer Hillary with a red reset button off a hot tub?
BW: this is a non-sequitur-free zone! 🤣
I love you with the love of Christ, my friend
Because he’s another person who reports to the President, not to Marco Rubio who is not trustworthy.
Standing back watching the globalists panic over the potential of losing their cash cow being threatened is priceless. Been wondering if there is a board somewhere with the betting odds of how long the cokehead puppet Zeester lasts once some kind of peace deal is made. Has to be pretty long odds of him lasting long enough to get out of Ukraine.
Blackrock and Soros owned a bunch of Ukraine.
Would hate to see aptly named Larry Fink have a financial comeuppance.
Set backs for persons of his moral caliber generally have to wait until when
the role is called up yonder. And the trapdoor opens.
Unfortunately he will probably come to one of his mansions in our country paid for by our own Congress.
If he testifies against folks in Congress he could get immunity…
He could also get dead! 🤷🏼♂️
Sadly correct
I’ve read that Little M has offered him ‘asylum’ in France – but haven’t seen any confirmation.
Idi Amin’s old getaway chateau in France could be just the spot!
Maybe he is negotiating a spot in the south of France for when he is ousted. The French Riviera is not too bad in winter.
I’m guessing it’s either France or Miami Beach.
His wife will shop in Paris all day and he can only hope Trump gives him asylum to retire in his Mansion Island off the coast of Fkorida.
This Russian Reset is what President Trump wanted to do in 2016. He won’t be stopped this time.
Hillary was supposed to start this war back then, but they had to wait until the Biden Installation.
That’s why they used RussiaRussiaRussia! and not, say, NepalNepalNepal!. They needed to stop Peace with Russia because it messed up their plans to provoke a Ukraine War.
They wanted to loot BOTH Russia and Ukraine and install Puppet Dictators in both counties, but Donald Trump was messing it up. So every time PDT was to meet Pres. Putin, Weissman/Mueller would indict some Russians and screw it up.
Not to mention that Hillary needed to blame the Russians for her E-mail Leaks–and not Seth Rich.
The Illuminati/Deep State money has severed Zelensky’s interests from the interests of his people. Same with Starmer, Macron, etc.. They pursue War despite the harm to their countrymen.
President Trump is the only one who cares about the Ukrainian People. Even Pres. Putin cares more than Z-Bag and the Euro-Kleptocracy. Dead Ukrainians are just a meal ticket to these ghouls.
Those Euro-Trash Leaders can play Kickback McStompeyFoot all they want, but to no avail. They need the Blood Money and a Public Enemy (Putin) to divert their publics, to cling to power at all costs and to stay out of prison.
See ya’, fellas.
We promise to write.
Psalm 2
Rest in the Vine: Peace: It’s All the Rage, Heathens!
Victoria Nuland must be furious over all of this. She and the rest of her cohorts who made this all possible should hang for treason and crimes against humanity. In a perfect world it would have already been done. So sick of waiting. Time for VSG to go on permanent offense and start taking out these pieces of human excrement post haste!!
We think of her as a big, evil loser (which she is) but she is a big winner in her game: neocon warmongering and regime change facilitation; massive war profiteering for big firms, insiders, friends and family ; unbelievable amounts of graft too big to quantify, trace or prosecute ; settling generational tribal and ethnic scores. Job done, Victoria.
Seeing that sow hang sounds like a real money making pay per view event.
The West has always needed an enemy to prop up their massive cash scam NATO etc. Really, how can the globalists in the EU and elsewhere create conflict to profit from if there’s no enemy. Making Russia Russia Russia into an enemy is how the rivers of money keep flowing
Well said!
I can hardly believe the ammount of affection shown here for the men, women and children of Ukraine.
i suppose we should at least applaud you for moving past the shovels and washing machine parts bullet points.
That’s why we want their dictator removed, the Deep State crushed and our President to bring Peace to them. He is the only one there who gives a damn about Ukrainians. Him and Jesus.
Psalm 34:14
To those wondering about Jared Kushner being part of the negotiating team America. He was very involved with the Gaza cease fire and peace initiative and most people felt it was at least a good start. He was also involved in the Abraham accord. Quite a successful record.
I would say just looking at his persona, he has a complete deadpan face visage. This is a plus in my view because it keeps the other party guessing. Too cold for my taste though.
He’s a very effective envoy for Trump. Notice all the attacks on him and Ivanka in Trump 1? Notice how they’re doing the same shit with Pete and Tulsi? If they’re effective for the admin, they get swamped with bad press. If they’re not a threat…well, see Pam Bondi.
Interesting point re Bondi. is she actually doing anything meaningful?
Besides sucking up airtime on Fox News?
What kind of question is that? Of course Barbie Biondi isn’t doing anything that matters, she’s Jeff Sessions in a dress only worse
She has won in the Supreme Court for Trump many times, none of us know what she was told her job is. Maybe to be a distraction?
Let the President run his show!
That’s the Solicitor General. Blondi and Ka$h remain dubious. Their bailiwicks are very broad in subject and geography, require more methodical background work, and are constrained by grand juries and courts. Plus, they have a YUGE backlog dating back to Shrub, bc DOJ has been almost entirely misdirected as an aggressive weapon for Demonrats that entire time.
Great point about the table demeanor. Rubio has shades of that look usually, as well (at the table). At least in press photos. Good insight.
Oh, Sundance found one of him looking daggers at Zelenski, while Z drones on.
The Duran had interesting podcast this morning
about this meeting. 😳😉
The Duran….Rumble
Bizarre negotiations and intel back channels
IMO: I think that the reason Witkoff is going to Russia is to test the waters for a separate deal with the U.S. This intransigence by Ukraine may very well be the last straw with President Trump.
President Trump has obviously succumbed to pressure from Lindsey Graham and his pals and may have agreed to this one last chance to make it work. Obviously it has not worked at all.
All this theatre is doing is separating President Trump from his base. Which just might be the plan.
My question to President Trump is, when is enough, enough?
saaadly..it looks alike..untill MILITARY ….. say enough is enough of this sh*t show..
Agree!
He needs to kick Ms. Lindsey out of his golf 🚗 cart.
Trump via Wakif, Rubio and Krushner is closing this deal now in front of the world, just like the Abraham Accords before hand. I expect there to be signatures by Christmas.
No patience when he’s saving lives?!?
Given that Ukraine has tentatively endorsed the revised plan, shifting the focus to Russia’s response has placed Moscow at a critical decision point.
Putin had reiterated that Ukrainian troops must withdraw from territories Russia claims, (including Donbas), before any ceasefire can occur. And, that recognition of Russian control over Crimea and Donbas remains a key condition for talks. High-level Russian officials have consistently reaffirmed their uncompromising stance on territorial demands. The ‘leaked call’ suggesting Witkoff was advising Kremlin officials on how to pitch their position to the Trump administration, had raised concerns about the credibility and balance of the negotiation process. Witkoff’s role has been central in shaping and advancing the peace proposal, which has evolved from an initial 28-point draft that favored Russian positions and was developed without Ukrainian input. To date, Witkoff has claimed progress and expressed optimism about peace efforts. High-level Russian officials have consistently reaffirmed their uncompromising stance on territorial demands. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov stated that “there can be no question of any concessions, or any surrender of our approaches to those key points,” emphasizing that Moscow would not cross its red lines on Ukraine.
Witkoff’s trip appears to be a substantive step in an ongoing negotiation process; possibly a pivotal phase, rather than an exploratory move, with the goal of securing Russian buy-in to a framework that could lead to a ceasefire. Witkoff, on this trip; is to engage high-level talks with the Russian President. The afore-mentioned entrenched positions of Russian leadership suggest that meaningful compromise, especially on territorial issues is unlikely.
Is not this just the first phase of U.S.-backed 19-point peace plan aimed at ending the war in Ukraine; indicating a significant phase in diplomatic efforts rather than merely testing the waters?
Trump, we are all tired of this bull*.
You gave both parties 5 days to agree and now you are dragging this out another 6 months!!!!!!!!
FFS, he can’t sign the deals himself.
Patience, he’s saving lives!!!
My goodness, so dragging both parties to the table while throwing the EU out, and having a constructed plan, including may necessary carrots to Russia, that will benefit the sane world, stopping all US dollars to Ukraine, stopping 7 other wars, my, cry the world a river. You could not begin to accomplish what he has done.
I’m certainly not as discerning as Sundance, but I feel one should never underestimate the utter stupidity and hubris of Van der Lyon and Khalis.
I could certainly see a world where the Banshees of Brussels notarize cutting off one’s nose to spite one’s own face and continue with sanctions.
I truly hope they do.
Sundance – ‘Unfortunately, with this in mind I find the EU threats hollow. ”
I don’t disagree with you, however, never underestimate the absolute stupidity and arrogance of the EU. They continue to threaten the record stupidity with each and every daily decision, all while sticking their noses in the air as if only they can understand the brilliance of their moves.
Fingers crossed and praying for peace.
“………..while Zelenskyy went to Paris for an emotional support session with Emmanuel Macron.”
Why is it I do NOT want to know the details of such a meeting?
Russia claims to have captured the city of Pokrovsk, a very important strategic stronghold. Thats a huge blow for Z, probably the reason why he denied it.
If Pokrovsk is in Russian hands now, and it looks like it is, that will make a far more rapid advance of the Russian troops possible.
Z’s position for the upcomming meeting is weakening by the minute. He has no more cards to play in this game of useless bloodshed any longer. And thats very good news. The only reason this war was not over long ago is Zelenskyy.
i am very glad i am not a general or decisions maker….
do you give it your men a break, potentially allowing the ukes to regroup and dig in, with the hope they give up the 4 oblasts?
or
do you step on the gas and blast forward now that the way is open?
No break is on the table.
it is VVP … congratulated all military officers…pronews.org/gr….
He had no cards months ago, and Trump told him.
WTF is Kushner doing there??
Everyone has to be someplace at sometime. I guess Kushner decided to be there at this time.
lol
There’s basically an entire sub-thread about JK above. Read before you write! Though you’d prbly still ask the question only VSGPDJT can answer.
My sense is that peace is coming but it’s timing is like the melting snow which over a long time results on an avalanche. I pray that the senseless killing stops, that the Euro’s continue to lose influence, that families in both countries can come together again, that the monies and graft are put to much better use ( on Americans) and the President Trump and America finally get recognized for good deeds. One can dream.
On one hand, I still lack confidence in Kushner.
On the other hand, it would be a gift to the world if the EU broke up.
And, yes, I realize they are not related………………. 🙂
Why do all these Ukrainian Big Shots look like low end thugs?
Because they are low end thugs.
They look straight out of central casting.
This is pretty funny..
https://x.com/OlgaBazova/status/1995175788396904833?s=20
WOW!
Thanks, that is impressive.
My first thought:
Trump to the EU: “please don’t throw me in the briar patch”!
Why does Putin want to stop doing what he’s doing?
He’s winning and gaining and seemingly, plowing right on through towards getting where he’s trying to go.
I’m kinda laughing, as they all talk about it, he’s out there claiming territory.
So they can negotiate his win or he can just keep doing it out there on the battlefield- but he’s won.
It seems to me that he holds all the cards now.
It is how I see it.
I don’t get how Ukraine keeps getting soldiers by the thousands willing to go to slaughter? That has been going on for a longtime.
Ukraine is just a money laundry machine for crooks and criminals. What does a soldier get out of it other than an early grave?
Many are being kidnapped off the streets, and taken to the front lines w little training.
Then, more experienced troops to desertions… or try to prevent.
I am surprised it has gone on this long. I thought Russia would squash Ukraine right off the bat.I thought it would be something like USA/Canada or USA/Mexico. I was under the impression Russia was so much stronger.
I guess it is something like the USA/Korea or something like the USA/Vietnam. They string it along for as long as they can.
I suggest 2 reasons:
1. RUS doesn’t want to kill or destroy everything in its path in UKR. Much of the infrastructure and populace, especially Donbas and Crimea are valuable to them.
2. RUS is still crippled by communism. It systematically produces poor results in products and people. The govt/military are Potemkin Villages, facades. But they are huge and can eventually overwhelm almost anything.
I’ll add to what you’ve said.
There is a back story here that Putin knows all about.
The average Ukrainians on the streets are victims of what their government has done, this is the same case that most of us are in.
WE The People are not this government, and the same can be said for the Ukrainians I’d imagine.
These are Russia’s neighbors and don’t forget, Putin was forced to do this, he never wanted too.
So I think that he’s attempting to fight this to win, BUT also in the best way that he can too.
And that isn’t to say he’s always gone easy, it’s to say that he could have wiped them off the map a long time ago but he’s chosen to refrain from doing so.
Putin is a remarkable patient man that appears to play the long game with the big picture in mind.
My guess..
“willing to go to slaughter”
https://rumble.com/v6pz1di-ukraines-forceful-mobilization.html?e9s=src_v1_s%2Csrc_v1_s_o&sci=a3d65de6-aeb5-43ad-85ea-eab8aea94e36
He’s winning…but at tremendous cost.
The EU may want to develop the “European Military” that they’ve mention on several occasions. The US may not have their back.
I did not realize how much influence the FBI has on NABU until after watching this Promethean show below and doing some reading. Peep the FBI NABU Handshakers, quick someone tell Kash to look for our cash:

So if we are working with Rustem Umerov might we assume he is heir apparent as Z goes shopping for houses with safe rooms in France?
To me it appears that there is a soft and very legal coup taking place. His protectors are being frog walked off the stage.
Here’s more details and also more about why Kelly and crew are now going after President Trump and Sec. Hegseth:

Not ‘frog walked’.
Whereas the EU spoke publicly of agreeing to want to save lives – by stopping war –
their non public, yet visible actions have curtailed progress on peace ( apparently because ( some people in) the EU, UKR and USA like to unsaid grift funds that are involved in war.)
So, unsaid, but by actions in the last couple of years, it is apparent, that some prefer ( secret ) money, over others lives ( while not reporting on lost lives, but teasing the public that ‘if’ such and such is done ( more money spent / unsaid grifted) ,
then ukr can defeat russia..
After 3 year$ of that ( pretending in public and lost lives ahd territory ), where is the proof of visible actions?
p.s.
2 years ago, the USA media was reporting that UKR was winning ( without facts ).
2-3 years ago, I am glad that a potential sign up to the u.s. military because someone bought into the media hype – was advised that ‘facts’ on the ground show (via real journalist, gonzala lira, now likely deceased that u.s. media ignored)
russia methodically gaining ground
( amidst lives lost and u.s. billion$ being miss authorized via another great pretending ( again) -the military sign up was dissuaded.
Imho
With honesty, and a lot less public pretending, ( the media still plays pretend, every day )
it now looks like a better time to sign up.

Are we sure Zelenskyy is not going to France seeking asylum considering the corruption news?
Zelensky will go to country that do not extradite people.
Not a lot of options…
Wow! I just got what Sundance meant in yesterday’s post about the Orban-Putin meeting when he wrote:
“A strategic partnership with Russia completely upends the global alliance and financial control system. There is nothing in the world of geopolitical networks (banking, finance, trade or military) more comprehensively disruptive to the current order of things than the possibility of Russia and the largest, most powerful and anchoring country in the West forming an alliance. Nothing else even comes close. If President Trump can pull this off, everything changes.”
Trump’s 28 point proposal, the framework for the current talks, indeed had lots about US-Russian cooperation. Points 13 and 14 included these quotes:
“The United States will enter into a long-term economic cooperation agreement for mutual development in the areas of energy, natural resources, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, data centers, rare earth metal extraction projects in the Arctic, and other mutually beneficial corporate opportunities.”
“The remainder of the frozen Russian funds [after the funds that will benefit Ukraine] will be invested in a separate US-Russian investment vehicle that will implement joint projects in specific areas. This fund will be aimed at strengthening relations and increasing common interests to create a strong incentive not to return to conflict.”
Ukraine gets security guarantees and prosperity. Russia gets protection for Ukraine’s ethnic Russians and no NATO troops on its doorstep. If Trump is able to pull-off this compromise, it will be because he listens to both sides, as I noted in a commentary published this morning by Enter Stage Right.
Putin wants to turn Ukraine into a vassal state akin to Belarus.. As seen in his 2021 essay, Putin claims Ukraine is an artificial nation and Ukrainians and Russians as “one people.” He claims Ukraine’s alignment with the West is an existential threat to his regime, arguing that a democratic, prosperous Ukraine would inspire dissent within Russia. Therefore, any peace that preserves Ukrainian independence is unacceptable to him.

As is so often the case, people don’t appreciate what they’ve been given until they actually earn it. USA gave Europe peace, prosperity, and for the West, freedom after 2 world wars, then expanded those gifts to Eastern Europe, ending the Cold War. They have appreciated it about as much as a 13 y/o does an allowance without chores. So now, they’re positioned not only to foment war again on their own continent, but to erect a new iron curtain. Sad! Saddest, that we, USA, paid so much and so dearly.
Couldn’t agree with you more. It proves once again whether you are a parent or a nation, others need to earn what you give. Europe used the money to enhance their lifestyle while insisting we continue to give more and more (NATO), and all the while they sneered at us.
Or as President Trump says in the case of trade, it must be reciprocal.
Our position is that we have to make everything to help U.S. succeed without losing our country and preventing another aggression from happening,” one of the Ukrainian officials wrote to Axios after the meeting.
It very much sounds like they have finally come to the realization and accepted the fact that if they persist with the war that they will indeed lose their country and likely be returned to their centuries old borders of the 1600s.
I would love to know the back story of how each of the additional landmasses were added to that comparatively small original landmass (indicated in yellow) known as Ukraine. Some of them are huge.
Short answer – wars and grants.

Out of curiosity I checked the Polymarket’s odds on success for peace by Christmas – the overwhelming answer is no. On the other hand, the odds are that Russia takes multiple cities in that time frame…
