Let’s put the events of the last 72 hours into context.
On Monday and Tuesday, Russian oil refineries in NATO countries Hungary and Romania suddenly, and simultaneously, have mysterious explosions and catastrophic fires {citation}}. On Wednesday, NATO head Mark Rutte comes to visit President Trump in the White House, and at the end of the day, the same Russian company, Lukoil, whose refinery exploded in Romania, suddenly becomes sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury {citation}. These events are not disconnected.
President Trump then disputes a Wall Street Journal report {citation}, further saying he did not give approval, nor does he know where NATO long-range missiles are coming from that were launched from Ukraine into Russia {citation}.
Alarmingly, both the Wall Street Journal and President Trump are seemingly correct.
President Trump did not give authorization; however, he did cede authority to NATO to make independent decisions about long-range missiles. The U.K. provided the British storm shadow missiles, and Ukraine launched them with NATO support for targeting deep into Russia.
President Trump saying, “wherever they may come from,” is alarming in itself. We all know that British PM Starmer, French President Macron, German Chancellor Merz and NATO Secretary Mark Rutte are all in alignment to push NATO into a direct conflict with Russia using the non-NATO state of Ukraine to do it.
The frustrating part is not the obtuse deflection by President Trump – perhaps he really doesn’t know – but rather the alarming issue of questioning whether President Trump is getting accurate information from the U.S. intelligence apparatus to make sound decisions. President Trump has abdicated the conflict decision-making to the NATO “coalition of the willing”, while the USA remains in NATO as a sideline observer.
The European members of NATO want war with Russia. President Trump does not want war with Russia, yet remains tied to NATO as they push toward war with Russia. This is not going to end well.
The U.S. Treasury sanctions against Russian energy companies is not going to cause Russian President Vladimir Putin to change his mind on his strategic objective of taking the Donbas region in Ukraine as a buffer zone against NATO encroachment.
WASHINGTON — Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is imposing further sanctions as a result of Russia’s lack of serious commitment to a peace process to end the war in Ukraine. Today’s actions increase pressure on Russia’s energy sector and degrade the Kremlin’s ability to raise revenue for its war machine and support its weakened economy. The United States will continue to advocate for a peaceful resolution to the war, and a permanent peace depends entirely on Russia’s willingness to negotiate in good faith. Treasury will continue to use its authorities in support of a peace process.
“Now is the time to stop the killing and for an immediate ceasefire,” said Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent. “Given President Putin’s refusal to end this senseless war, Treasury is sanctioning Russia’s two largest oil companies that fund the Kremlin’s war machine. Treasury is prepared to take further action if necessary to support President Trump’s effort to end yet another war. We encourage our allies to join us in and adhere to these sanctions.”
Today’s action targets Russia’s two largest oil companies, Open Joint Stock Company Rosneft Oil Company (Rosneft) and Lukoil OAO (Lukoil), which are now designated. Rosneft is a vertically integrated energy company specializing in the exploration, extraction, production, refining, transport, and sale of petroleum, natural gas, and petroleum products. Lukoil engages in the exploration, production, refining, marketing, and distribution of oil and gas in Russia and internationally.
Rosneft and Lukoil are being designated pursuant to E.O. 14024 for operating or having operated in the energy sector of the Russian Federation economy.
Additionally, OFAC is designating a number of Russia-based Rosneft and Lukoil subsidiaries, a list of which is available in Annex 1 below. All entities owned 50 percent or more, directly or indirectly, by Rosneft and Lukoil are blocked pursuant to E.O. 14024, even if not designated by OFAC. (read more)
It was Lukoil’s operation in Romania that exploded on Monday, and it was Rosneft oil that was being processed at the refinery in Hungary where the explosion took place on Monday night into Tuesday. Then, suddenly on Wednesday, President Trump, NATO General Secretary Mark Rutte and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent trigger sanctions against Rosneft and Lukoil.
President Vladimir Putin is not a pretending man.
The Russian Federation President can clearly see what NATO (sans Trump) is trying to do, even if the advisors around President Trump are not being fulsome with their information about what NATO is trying to do.
Fubar. All of it.
[…] – The unannounced U.S. move to enable Kyiv to use the missile in Russia comes after authority for supporting such attacks was recently transferred from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth at the Pentagon to the top U.S. general in Europe, Gen. Alexus Grynkewich, who also serves as NATO commander. (more)

Since POTUS and Elon are supposedly (everything now a days needs to be prefaced
with supposedly) are back on speaking terms. Couldn;t Elon tweek a satellite or
two and mess up the communications..for those launching the bombs..
Can it be possible ?
No, not possible. Those are military satellites and Musk has no control over them.
Actually, the Ukranians are largely using Starlink! Yes, Musk could switch that off.
The us and Elon aren’t the only ones who have satellites. The British and French have them too
French and British military satellite assets have an infinitesimal footprint compared to US , Chinese and Russian ones.
France has 17 known, and Britain has 6 known, currently orbiting.
To give you some perspective.
The US has 247
China 157
Russia 110
Seemingly may also be used.
How much of all of this is to insure demonrats win (and possibly big), in November 2026? The first verifiable (since there probably already is) US boot on the ground and Trump hemorages support. To think that would be the “best” option would be a concerning belief.
The only reason I can believe there aren’t already boots on the ground is that trusted independent media haven’t mentioned it. We know Bull Sh!t News would probably hold that news back until advantageous, like October 2026.
Maybe not boots on the ground. but I would like to know how many carpet slippered American and British and EU not so secret service personnel are in UKraine.
Democrats are capable of anything to regain power.
Nothing is off the table, not even a world war.
They’ve tried everything else.
Yes, they’ve proven that over and over.
We should IMMEDIATELY withdraw from NATO and the United Nations. Both organizations are part of the reason this nation is 38 trillion in debt. If the EU wants to be flat, black, and glow in the dark, that’s their choice, but we don’t have to join them in that mutual suicide pact. Then, make bilateral defense treaties with nations who have goals that are in our interest.
I said the same, Sir. I will bet my bag of coffee this thread is filled with the same sentiment.
Absolute agreement. If you want substantially large “thumbs-up” counts on a comment, express the need to stay out of this grotesque war.
Yup
Completely agree.
We need to wash our hands of it.
These power-crazy Euros are fools.
One look at the leaders of the E.U. should reveal what a feckless group of fools they are. Pretenders all of them.
European news is censored and manipulated.
Their EU “leadership” in control of their lives are psychotic weirdos who don’t care what happens to the next generation.
Economically broken, power crazy, under pressure from their indigenous population and with an illegal, majority Muslim male invasion problem.
They must be terrified of what will become them if not at war and the truth reveals itself.
Certainly. It would be the best thing for the USA. However, considering the snakes and weasels in the GOP that would not support this move, no doubt, this would result in some alignment with the Dems and might end up crashing this administration. Along the lines of the 1st. I think PDJT has more he wants to accomplish before attempting that gambit.
Once again Congress is the problem. If Pres Trump cant leave NATO simply refuse to participate aka “attack” the eu – call our diplomates back home and close all euro embassies, choke/slow-roll everything from economic aid, to MIL support and training – whatever it takes short of getting sucked in to a war between 2 non-NATO countries.
Yep, no mo money and no mo munitions from the US of A to our NATO allies.
That’s the ticket.
Sorry, but I lack confidence that it will happen.
Big question WHY? Why wont it happen? Is PT more afraid of the IC than WWIII?
PT must call on us supporters to come in and presser those fools in Congress.
From your keyboard to God’s ears! NATO’s reason for existence ended long ago…if it ever really existed.
Stopping Soviet global hegemony was a valid reason for NATO. Stopping Russian regional pretensions, not so much. NATO should have been wound down after 1989 and we should be enjoying the peace dividend of balanced budgets, right now.
If you believe Biden telegraphed to Russia that Ukraine would join NATO, triggering this invasion, you could say NATO is the problem, not the solution.
Refusing to disengage from NATO will be Trump’s fatal mistake; NATO and Eu all the same.
If they would manufactured a pandemic they will do anything to undermine the influence of peace and good will.
And we will suffer for it but then isn’t it suffering that gets humanity’s attention.
It takes 2/3’s super majority of the Senate ,or an Act of Congress, 47 does not have the authority to withdraw from NATO, that changed under auto-pen in 2023 (starting 2024) ! Asking the President to do it is non starter..
thank you for defining the problem once again, DWLRA. 👍🏻
this is the comment that should have 200 likes,
IF readers are interested in an an accurate description of the situation.
workarounds, like reducing funding, may be a viable alternative.
start pushing for those things PT can do unilaterally to get the ball rolling.
This is possible, but by no means definitive. The question of who has the power to terminate treaties has never been fully resolved. The Constitution itself is silent on who has that power. There are many opinions held by many people, but there is no SCOTUS decision that clearly addresses this question.
One notable instance of SCOTUS involving itself in this was when Jimmy Carter terminated the mutual defense treaty with Taiwan. He was then sued by Sen. Goldwater and other members of Congress, and when the case reached the SCOTUS, the best they could come up with was a four-Justice opinion written by William Rehnquist that they did not have jurisdiction in the matter and could not resolve it.
There are those that claim that because the Senate has the advise and consent role over treaty enactments, that it should also have the same role in treaty terminations. But by the same token, the Senate approves a President’s cabinet, but a President can then terminate a cabinet member without Senate approval.
There is also the question of what happens when the other party to a treaty breaches that treaty. In the past, the SCOTUS has seemed to indicate that the President has the power to terminate a treaty that has been breached by the other party.
NATO is really just a mutual defense treaty. It was enacted to provide defense for western Europe from any aggression by the Soviet Union. It was not enacted to start a war with the Soviet Union or with anyone else. But that is exactly what they are doing in Ukraine.
Because of this, a legitimate argument can be made that the EU countries have materially breached the treaty, and the President can now terminate it. At the very least, I would like to see President Trump test this, or at least threaten to test it, in order to point a bright spotlight at the EU/NATO warmongers.
If any President would test it, it would be 47 for sure, He seems to want his legacy to be “The Peace Maker”, but I think he’s also willing to achieve that the kenetic way , if the strength of economy deals don’t persuade others involved. I’m amazed at his resilience, his love of these United States of America , such a heavy job for him, it may boil down to who is around him and advises him. Its so easy for all of us to watch from the outside ,and call plays, how naive we are, just sayin. No matter what is happening , we are better off for now than the auto-pen bunch.
Remember Yugoslavia.
PT decided to give weapons….so he was pressured….make Congress o against Americas Interest and carry the heat. Let PT declare he is with the citizens and wants no part of NATO’s Aggression.
Can congress legislate to itself authority that the constitution reserves to the executive? Namely foreign policy?
The Europeans have been butchering each other for centuries. It’s one of the many reasons some Europeans left Europe for America. Let them slaughter each other. If they choose. But we need to stay out.
Hear Hear!
This post deserve every single one of its 101 upvotes (and still counting)!!
Russia is being left no choice than to b!tch-slap these arrogant, mind-numb, elitist, pinky-lifters!!!
100% correct. Get out of NATO now Yrs, the big EU warmongers UK, France and Germany are empty suits they have want to suck us into a lost war.
I vote for USA to leave NATO and the UN, yes…bill
The unfolding of miscalculations …
WHY does Europe want a war with Russia? Grins? Distract from their domestic political woes? If so, it seems likely to be very expensive — in both money and flesh and blood. Britain, France and Germany have been slashing their defense budgets over the last few decades, to the point where Britain has more admirals than ships and Germany has virtually no working tanks or submarines. How are they planning to fight this war? (Much less pay for it….) More importantly, WHO is going to fight this war? My 19-year old son has already told me he will flee the country if any attempt is made to draft him.
It seems the EU strategy is to kill off the male indigenous population through war with Russia and then bring in more Islamists and other illegals. The transition to Global government will be complete. It will only last a short time as the Islamists will then begin killing the EU leadership and remaining EU population.
We need to get out of Europe, NATO, and the UN just like the folks in the above thread are asking to happen.
EU has nuclear? If Islamist take over we need to blow them off the map before they shoot first.
It makes no sense unless you accept the premise they are trying to eradicate their own people.
Why would they mass import military aged muslim men and let them have free reign to rape and murder their own people? Obviously the ruling elite want the native Europeans dead.
Kinda like 46 autopen did here.
“Their own people” are not who you think they are. The ruling elite don’t care at all for the native-born people of their countries, and not really about the immigrants either. “Their own people” are nothing but cannon fodder to them.
The “rulers” are set up in their own safeguarded enclaves where no one can touch them or their families. Well, someone can touch them, and He will if they continue with their demonic plan.
The USA has more admirals than ships also. The paper has to be filed you know.
To cover up their incompetence and corruption. If their people knew what they were really involved with they would be a revolutionary response in every country.
Why can’t President Trump write an Executive Order nullifying our stake in the UN?
Why does he not know this?
Why has no one in his orbit suggest such?
Why is he playing ball with the War Whore Senators? For a Passing Budget?
Lord Have Mercy On We Who Sin.
I think much of what we are seeing is what it took to get the BBB passed. What I see in President Trump is money and deals take precedent over doing the right thing.
Sometimes what seems right in the short term, ends up disastrous in the long term because of blind spots and misperceptions. The Germans have agreed to “green” policies that appear virtuous to them, but which are killing their economy
How is the UN relevant to this discussion of NATO’s role in the Ukraine-Russia war?
Just something else we need to get out of.
You got me there. I forgot that we need Senate Approval for the Ratification of Treaties.
If we put it to a National Vote, RIGHT NOW, with hand counted, watermarked paper ballots with voter ID AND CLEAN ROLLS the overwhelming majority of Americans would IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY THE WHORES OF WAR IN the fetid Senate, most of whom have languished there since I was in Junior High doing nothing I learned about in US Govt Studies (formerly Civics)which I Aced, that WE THE PEOPLE WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH THESE PEOPLE OR WARS ANYMORE.
Personally, my opinion is for President Trump to align with Russia. While other countries, mentioned in the article, are aligning with a non nato country, there should be no reason why President Trump can’t stand for the country obviously being targeted. It would give weight to Russia and possibly a reason for the other war mongers to stand down. US should stand for the unfair treatment of any nation and, right now, that would be Russia.
Not sure about calling the country Poor Baby Russia, but I’ve always believed Ukraine needs to be dismantled before anything. I’m hoping behind the scenes the US is working with Russia towards that goal. Sanctions have always been nothing but a show, so I’m taking this latest round as a clue that Trump believes there is a strong need to misdirect in the opposite direction.
Does a conflict with Venezuela help draw US commitment away from Europe? Is Trump conceding that war must happen? Is he seeding the war he’d prefer to fight?
When there’s good cause to believe that the people giving you the information you need to do your job are the ones who have actively sabotaged you in the past, you take what information they give you with a grain of salt. Remember the old adage: “In the land of the blind, the strongest person is the one-eyed man”; the IC is the one-eyed man and his bonafides are suspect.
“Fool me once, same on you. Fool me twice, shame on ME.”
I didn’t know I could loathe Europistan any more than I already did, yet here we are..
I’m incredulous when another friend tells me about their plans to travel to Europe as though everything is just as we remember it before the third world invasion.
Why would sane sensible people a) take that risk b) support these places with their dollars?
I completely agree with you, and it am profoundly disappointed.
If there is an actual WW3, I fear it might go nuclear because I don’t think the West will do very well with convention weapons against China and Russia. This is madness.
Our weapons in Ukraine have not been the “game changers” the war mongers were claiming they would be in Ukraine. Many of our weapon systems date to the 1980’s and I can tell you from personal experience our weapons acquisition system is broken and really needed a DOGE type scrutiny.
It’s time to leave NATO, I think NATO wants a new cold war or a hot war to keep the US in Europe. It’s time to go, we have subsidized and protected Europe since WW2.
Russia will have no choice but to use nuclear weapons. If your country is under attack by multiple countries with the goal of breaking it up into multiple countries run by the EU and while killing the native Russians, what else could/would you do?
It is existential for Russia and nuclear weapons will be their only choice. I can’t figure out why the globalists and their bought and paid for politicians aren’t worried about surviving themselves.
I am not sure Russia would go Nuclear first, especially if China steps in supporting Russia.
Either way, even a conventional war would be a disaster for the world
bunkers ..elaborate ones…
I think they built some fancy underground cities and playgrounds with their citizens taxes/money from the green scam. That’s where you’ll find the rats.
i admit the increased sanctions on Russia as announced by Scott Bessent yesterday threw me for a loop.
i’m a fully fledged member of the peanut gallery, like pretty much everybody else.
no unnamed sources speaking on condition of anonymity whispering in my ear,
no persons familiar with the situation passing me dubious information.
so my opinion relies on developments that are NOT disputed by our President,
and on his career long principles of getting things done.
PT is a long range strategic planner.
he will put up with a lot of crud on the way to accomplishing his goals if, on balance,
that crud advances, or at least does not hinder, his objectives.
that is not to say PT doesn’t have his own “tripwires”, i think he does,
but for the sake of leverage he keeps them pretty much under wraps.
so, i’m not sure what to make of the mixed messaging here.
perhaps it is as straightforward as the IC trying to lead PT into war –
i think we can take that as a given – but what is PRESIDENT TRUMP’S long range plan?
what could be so important that justifies the apparent ambiguities?
the MAGA agenda in toto?
is he working towards something big in the Russia/NATO/EU theatre?
the ultimate face off with the IC?
the extinction of NATO?
lots of spinning plates here.
since i’m slinging metaphors right and left this morning 😂,
fervently hope PT can pull the rabbit out of the hat.
p.s.: my support for PT does not depend on understanding things i am not privy to,
my support is given to PT as a man i trust to navigate this ship.
that has not changed.
Really good points.
Thank you, Sundance for your hard analysis. We need to have such information if we are to help President Trump navigate this literal minefield. Most Importantly:
I will not waffle in my support for President Trump. Not one bit. We already know the IC gives him only the information they want him to have, skewed to the interests of the Worldwide UniParty of Evil.™️
Given how much President Trump has outmaneuvered the deep state IC, in addition to all the incredible winning he has accomplished in his huge and unprecedented job as truly representing the American Citizens, while fighting off both friends and enemies domestically, and not least, taking the necessary precautions to prevent HIS OWN MURDER, FFS.; I am willing to cut the man some slack.
There Are Trillions At Stake.
What he needs most right now is our encouragement. Not a bunch of weak fair weather friends who jump at the chance to talk shit and hurl insults behind his back for weak-minded, ego stimulating uppy-votes.
It is harder to settle a war when you are all alone in wanting to settle it.
Depressing.
Withdraw from NATO is all I can think of. America first, right?
Wars, and rumors of wars…
Who are these people that constantly sow chaos at home and abroad? What do they hope to gain? World domination doesn’t look so great when you are sitting on a pile of smoking rubble.
Oh Lord, we beseech You to give our Lion wisdom and strength. Amen.
So…if Europe goes to war in Ukraine against Russia, their young men sent to die, then who will be left on the home front to protect their women from the Muzloid invaders they have imported.?
The non muzzie men of Europe are not protecting them now.
Women and children are being raped daily all over Europe and no one protects them. The leaders of those European countries are happy to send all their native men off to die while leaving the women to be killed or enslaved by muslims. You don’t import millions of muslim men into your country unless you want your country handed over to them.
Note: The US is mass importing muslims as well – see Maine, Minnesota, Virginia, Texas. Tennessee, Florida. And they are being placed in large numbers in smaller cities across the country.
Draft the Muzloids and send them off to die, they will either go to war for their adopted homeland or flee back to the middle east and north Africa.
So EU needs a war and will get one. We will be dragged in and then the Islamists and Antifa will start the war here. I sure hope that is not their plan, but we have so many military aged men here….. and Chinese military aged men.
China is in big trouble and they proved with Covid that if they suffer everybody suffers. The EU is acting the same way. I hope that guy on the motorcycle with the gas mask and goggles is wrong. I hope it is NOT going to get way worse.
I am in favor of a war…between the CIA and the U.S. military.
Bessent has it wrong. It’s Ukraine/Zelensky who is refusing to end the war by not conceding.
Also it’s not a “senseless war”. Ukraine was shelling the Donbas Russian-speaking civilians since 2014, killing thousands, and Putin had enough of it. Ukraine was always the aggressor.
I don’t know why I don’t hear more about this being one of the main reasons Russia attacked Ukraine. Russian speaking people being slaughtered and deplorable living conditions… living underground to survive.
“I don’t know why I don’t hear more”
The globalist owned mainstream mierda isn’t in the news business.
“Thousands” is baseless and I doubt you can back that up anywhere except in Russian media. The Donbas war was started by Russian supported separationists unhappy with the government, the removal of Yanukovych and movement towards closer ties with the European Union. Ukraine responded to the revolt heavily yes as in any revolt, but not “thousands” until the war expanded. Putin then entered and expanded that war a month later while lying about being there as they did at first in Crimea. As an American I lived close to there at the time. I gather you are Russian or you ate the cheese. This war is illegal by international law. Ukraine did not enter Russia. Russia prefers to enter into wars claiming they protect rights of Russian speaking peoples in those countries. There are of course many Russian speaking peoples in all those former countries since the USSR forced the language on them. This will continue with every Eastern European country because they all have significant populations of Russian speakers. This can easily be duplicated by inciting civil war and then backing them without proper invasions at the start. I have some sympathy for Russia (another country I lived in for years) having its border slowly surrounded by NATO but the war only created more NATO countries and once they take Ukraine it will be completely surrounded and then what? My guess is the Russian breakaway Transnistria in Moldova. Already they are making trouble.
For Ukraine, read a warmongering MIC/NATO/UN/EU which while dressed as “Democracy” has crept closer and closer to Russia, shattering promises and treaties with every step.
President Trump perplexes me with his selling of missiles to various NATO factions and at the same time claiming he wants to end the bloodshed. There are mixed messages here, at least as far as the ones he is delivering. If I were President Putin reading them, I’d be ordering the expedited manufacturing of everything it would take to protect his country against the blood thirsty machinations of those like Rutte and his fellow travellers whose own fortunes are dwindling day by day.
The question seems to be, which first? Civil wars in their own domains, or the apocalypse of WWIII.
Lie down with (NATO) dogs, get up with fleas…and much else besides, Mr President.
Worrisome.
Very.
After all of this time, including a 1st term, there’s no hiding behind “I know nothing.” I didn’t vote for this. Remember the memes of Biden being led around by Xi; it seems we need one with Trump being led around by Rutte or Macron.
Perhaps Trump believes the war must grind on until every side’s illusion of advantage disappears, the pain becomes undeniable, and all parties accept peace on America’s terms.
He put it bluntly in his Feb. 28 2025 meeting with Zelenskyy: “I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE.”
Maybe this is the position PDJT is taking.m
I remember that! It stood out to me as something to be remembered and I measure everything against it, like the latest sanctions. They make it look like we are siding with the EU, but the impact is like nothing.
Perhaps we could call it Ice Hockey diplomacy?
The refs never step in while the combatants are standing.
Once they go to their knees the refs step in and pull them apart.
Maybe Trump is trying to end NATO, maybe he and Putin have a plan to end it cause it is so damn corrupt.
And dismantle Ukraine’s most evil and corrupt leadership at the same time.
“authority for supporting such attacks was recently transferred from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth at the Pentagon to the top U.S. general in Europe, Gen. Alexus Grynkewich,”
We do not know what orders Gen Grynkewich has been given. I do not believe Trump has put this thing on auto pilot.
I hope to believe this is as much about an internal rift with NATO as conflict with Russia. Now is our opportunity to give Europe an opportunity to grow up, get a haircut and a job. An opportunity to succeed.
If they don’t, we kick them out of the basement and stop paying their car insurance and gas.
But yes, I accept Satan deceives the Nations and want to destroy humanity.
I say pull out of NATO and let them figure themselves out. Why have enemies when you have allies like Europeans…
Psalm 140
“Deliver me, O Lord, from evil men;
Preserve me from violent men,
Who plan evil things in their hearts;
They continually gather together for war.
They sharpen their tongues like a serpent;
The poison of asps is under their lips. Selah
Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; Preserve me from violent men,
Who have purposed to make my steps stumble.
The proud have hidden a snare for me, and cords;
They have spread a net by the wayside;
They have set traps for me. Selah
I said to the Lord: ‘You are my God;
Hear the voice of my supplications, O Lord.
O God the Lord, the strength of my salvation,
You have covered my head in the day of battle.
Do not grant, O Lord, the desires of the wicked;
Do not further his wicked scheme,
Lest they be exalted. Selah
As for the head of those who surround me,
Let the evil of their lips cover them;
Let burning coals fall upon them;
Let them be cast into the fire,
Into deep pits, that they rise not up again.
Let not a slanderer be established in the earth;
Let evil hunt the violent man to overthrow him.’
I know that the Lord will maintain
The cause of the afflicted,
And justice for the poor.
Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name;
The upright shall dwell in Your presence.”
exactly on the dot
Amen
I am suprised there was not any mention of the facility that blew up in TN last week and all 16 workers were killed. People should research exactly what was produced by that facility and tie that in with what is going on.
There are several stories. I guess nothing truly definitive, but this from some sort of insurance site. https://www.insurancejournal.com/news/southeast/2025/10/16/843915.htm
What I am finding is a recent contract awarded to Advanced Energetic Systems for Trinitrotoluene (TNT) and plastic-bonded explosive N-9 (PBXN-9) supplementary charges. Further, these are explosives intended for use in 155mm artillery shells.
https://www.highergov.com/idv/W52P1J19D0028/
The second paragraph shows the same Advanced Energetic Systems was awarded a new contract similar to the last that was completed.

GTFO of NATO and let Putin beat them into the dust !!
The CIA is still of the chain, so hard to say what role they are playing in all this.
I hate to say this but I will. Between not ending the US support in Ukraine against Russia and the economy the 2026 election season is going to be bleak for Trump and the GOPe. Just saying his electioneering promises aren’t coming through. Yes, there are many things he has done but none of those will matter if the economy doesn’t turn around or this war in Ukraine doesn’t end.
If NATO wants a war President Trump needs to take the USA out of NATO. If we get into a war with Russia it could lead to nuclear and WW3. Europe would start it and want mostly US troops and material doing everything. The typical warmongers of the US Congress in both parties would be all for this while most American are not.
NATO does want a war with Russia. The Eastern European countries were devastated under Russian control. The hate runs deep. I once got spit at by an old lady in the Baltics for speaking Russian. Putin has lamented the loss of these countries. Ukraine may be able to continue this war without us but giving Russia the full of Donbas puts them directly in line to take Kiev later in a fourth invasion. Even if Putin does not take all of Ukraine militarily, it will eventually take it politically after that just as it is doing in Georgia now. At this moment this is a war by support but if Ukraine falls or NATO intervenes as it did in Yugoslavia, it will likely lead to WW3 and then we will get involved on the ground NATO or no. This not to mention that if Russia can get away with breaking international law by changing another countries borders then so also can China or others.
Western Europe is evil – full stop. Millions have died in Ukraine because of them. And in their own countries they hand over their women and children to be raped and murdered by muslims they’ve intentionally imported to terrorize their own people.
If they get their ground war, who will fight it? My bet is US troops because Europe doesn’t really have the military capability or enough people. Europe has been in a demographic death spiral for decades – they happily stopped having children and lived lives of leisure funded by their own governments who are now broke.
Deep state lying to POTUS? no way? Question – tearing down the east wing – ridding a connection the deep state used to easedrop on POTUS? did he find the comms lines? secret rooms?
I’ve read more than a few of the posts on this thread.

But that someone is a puppet
Who pulls the strings?
It’s not me, it’s Bessent sure sounds a lot like it’s not me, it’s Fauci. This weakness of President Trump is getting tiresome. Donald Trump, you are the President; start acting like it.
While I might be tempted to believe Hegseth would send serving military personnel into Ukraine, it is far more likely that the people sent would be contractors for one of the alphabet agencies.
They’re already there and have been since 2014 – continuously. I can guarantee it.
JOINT BASE NATO is “exercising” in North Atlantic according to the most recent news post from the joint base:
https://jfcnorfolk.nato.int/activity/nato-opens-new-combined-air-operations-centre-in-norway–strengthening-command-and-control-across-the-alliance-.aspx
Way past time for US to cut its ties with NATO. No more American blood and money sacrifice for the war machine.
The fire and explosions were to Russian affiliated oil and gas sites located in NATO countries. Looks like parts of Europe may have to pay more for heat this winter and the sanctions increase the impact.
I believe it is time for the USA to seperate from NATO. If the Europeans want to go toe to toe with Putin, let them put their own money and children in the fight.
NATO or not it is difficult to believe that the US would not be involved in a WW3. We tried that in WW2 you know.
Do you remember a few weeks ago a senior Russian official, Dmitry Rogozin, threatened that sites in the UK could come under attack and provided a map of the sites that could be targets? See linked article below.
https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/2117023/russias-sends-threat-strike-23
Take note of the city of Bristol on the map’s lower left corner. The companies listed as being in Brisol include MBDA, Airbus, BAE Systems and Leandro. These are the companies that manufacture the Storm Shadow missle.
I don’t think the use of Storm Shadow missles comes as a surprise to the Russians. They anticipated the use of these missles. The British were duly warned that their country was not immune from attacks by Russia.
God help us.
The twin shoals of this Presidency are Ukraine and Isreal and the globalists and neocons are determined to use them to wreck it. Inasmuch as the ultimate resolution for both involve many years of effort, 3 years of mischief and delay and chaos is nothing. Chaos abroad and chaos at home. That is their obvious goal.
As Sundance reminds us always, there are trillions at stake. Watch your six President Trump.
We would do well to remember what the Russians will not allow their people to forget. “Victory Day” is their most somber and most important national celebration. A highlight is when every Russian family (including Putin’s) brings out a black-and-white photograph of some family member lost in “The Great Patriotic War.” The Ghost Regiment rides again . . .
Russia paid by far(!) the greatest price in blood during that war, both on its Western and its Eastern fronts. No European ally even came close, nor did we. They know what “a Nazi” is, and they know where many of them – real ones – wound up. And this is why they went to war to interdict what was happening on their borders, and to purge Ukraine of Nazis by chewing them up. They could have simply obliterated Ukraine, indiscriminately wiping out civilians with overwhelming force, but they didn’t.
They’re looking at EU now, knowing what they’re thinking. And knowing also that EU has no idea what their thinking would actually mean. Russia does. Russia remembers.
P.S.: Please stop thinking that “mighty atomic bombs” caused the Japanese to surrender. They didn’t. By this time, Japanese cities were being incinerated every day. When a couple were incinerated in a single blast – well, the “atomic secret” wasn’t actually that secret. The fanaticism was never-ending. The Japanese were simply preparing defenses that would have made Iwo Jima look very small. For anyone coming from the East.
What did cause the Japanese surrender was Russia’s eleven-day(!) conquest of Manchuria, wiping out an elite Japanese army unit and sweeping past geographic obstacles which were assumed to be insurmountable. Stalin said that he would be in Tokyo within a month, coming the short distance (as little as 4 sea miles …) from the West, and the Japanese knew he could and would do it. None of their island defenses faced West, Manchuria was fallen, and there was simply no time left.
So, they were now faced with a choice of who to surrender to: the Allies, or their ancient enemy. Gratuitously, Stalin allowed the USSR to act as “an ally,” and shared the surrender.
Been there and got the t-shirt, it is true. It is also true that Ukraine pulls out the pictures for the Holodomor 1932-33 when Russia took all the food and starved to death millions of Ukrainians. The Nazi population in Ukraine is roughly 3 percent. If you include white supremacist’s then the US has about 9 percent. The excuse for Russia is just a way to incite their population to take it all and as far as Ukraine is concerned, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
The Fubar link has a pay wall.
Still fantastic work Sundance absolutely amazing in depth analysis.
One thing not mentioned, if Russia wanted peace it could have peace. Now it’s almost 1 year into President Trumps term, Russia has been taking more and more of Ukraine…. Where is the desire for peace there or in Gaza… (wars and rumors of wars), FAFO Russia and UN-EU.. Good luck trying to stop Russia Hypersonic Missiles and if you do watch out for the dead man switch.
War, when conducted from a position of strength, can be quick and decisive. War from a position of weakness, as Europe has always been weak, results in a true domino effect of global proportions. Add in the most destructive weapons mankind has ever produced, and nothing stops this from being a total destruction of civilization.
War, when conducted from a position of strength, can also be a “war of attrition.” Russia possesses overwhelming military strength which it has purposely not brought to bear. As it stated on “Day #1,” its objective was never to conquer.
Russia does not fight wars like “the West” does. It never has.
Russia lied at the start of the Crimea invasion. It lied that it was in Donbas. One of its demands is for Zelensky to be tossed out the same as they had done in Georgia. Now Georgia is under Russian control politically. Russia fights wars like Germany did before it became ww2. Take a little, lie about it and then take the rest.
Holy Cats! This is bad.
Sundance is BIG MAD!!
Ah yes. More 36d chess from a stable genius I somehow voted 3x for
Couple treason charges ought to clear this up. This weakness is very Trump ver 1.0.
When I heard President Trump say that both sides should just stop and go home, I was speechless. Russia has for two decades told the USA/EU to stop pushing the NATO boundary east. Nobody listened because after all, Russia is just a gas station with nukes and Texas has a bigger economy. That is delusional.
Ukraine has been a part of NATO since about 2005 in every way but officially.
Its like having a mistress that a man has kids with saying she isn’t his wife because there is no marriage certificate.
The political caste in the EU need a war to keep themselves in power. They are in no condition to go to war.
Do the people of Europe want a repeat of the chaos and destruction of 80 years ago?
All this manipulation and lies today should call into question the causes of WWI+WWII.
Those were the good wars for the reasons everybody repeats. I have doubts.
Rutte is a piece of excrement. He is not the Dutch Prime Minister now because tried to go full green authoritarianism on his population and caught a revolt. People like him and Starmer are the polar opposites of right populists. Why, why, why do we even deal with these people? Putin isn’t half the enemy they are.
What I would tell these 4 clowns is that “You start this we will not join in: You’re on your own”. It’s my belief that maybe we are only bound to defend Western Europe if the Russians start the war, not if NATO starts it. If NATO starts it, tough.
NONE of these governments are doing this. It is the global “Intel” branch of government pulling puppet strings in the NATO countries. The CIA is funding this and operating it. Mossad is. MI6 is. Those are the names we have but they are all, seemingly, one entity operating as part of each government. But we know they don’t follow the laws or the leadership of any of those governments.
Hey, maybe the Europeans have realized what a foolish mistake they made by importing millions of 3’rd world migrants into their nations. Syrians, Afghanies, Somalians, etc, will not assimilate and are wreaking havoc on the social fabric of the European countries. Start a war with Russian and draft all these Muslim fighting age men, stick them on the front lines and let the Red Army do the dirty work? In a few years the situation resolves?
