Obviously President Trump wants his supporters to drop talking about this story, and I must admit I was wrong. I earnestly believed someone close to President Trump would explain why his support base was/is focused on the Epstein scandal as representative of government control of information.
While the “Epstein stuff” in general has never been a subject of great interest here, I simply cannot explain this level of disconnect toward those to whom the story is important. This is new because President Trump has always reflected his understanding of his hardcore base of support, even when the details were difficult to understand.

So if I understand your argument, you are saying that the release of the Epstein files will impact voters in any future election activities including mid-terms in 2024? So for that reason the secrecy surrounding Epstein and the crimes he helped facilitate (sex trafficking minors to rich and powerful men) should not be exposed to sunlight? Look I fully support PDJT in everything he is doing to burn down the deep state bureaucracy in DC and rebuild the economic and political institutions in our nation to be focused on the wealth of the middle class but I don’t see why release of these files has any impact on that work…..powerful men committed heinous acts with underage girls and they should be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law just as any other citizen. That fact that Pam Bondi totally botched this case and that others in the past clearly covered up what was going on with Epstein does nothing to lesson the requirement for justice for those men who engaged in this activity. Further, we as citizens have a legitmate right to ask all the questions being asked about who and what Epstein was, who he worked for (Intel Services?), where his money came from, who he associated with etc without being told to shut up and stop asking about such things. The excuse you posit above that it would work against PDJTs voters in 2024 is not good enough and is exactly how liberal-democrats look at things. Let’s talk about the so-called “List”.
Is it a list of anyone whoever talked to, palled around with, or traveled with Jeffrey Epstein? If so, the list is meaningless with no predicate for criminal inquiry or prosecution.
Some of those on such a list may have been to his island and participated in criminal activities. But more evidence is needed to prove that. Just being on a list doesn’t represent proof of anything.
And that is why such a list containing both innocent individuals and indictable criminals, if it exists, should not be released to allow the fake media and their Democrat allies to determine the narrative.
That’s why the Democrats in Congress are fighting so hard to get this released.
List or Files? Those two terms are being used interchangeably and the are not the same. Files MAY contain a list, but a list does not denote files.
Words have meanings and a list is a set items of information that has be collected and presented in some format for future utility….ie. a list of customers names.
Files however, are associated information or data that has been gathered and preserved for future use or reference. In legal or criminal matters files are ostensibly pertinent facts or evidence.
What we do know is that President Trump has been over 70 for a decade now, he is allegedly a germophobe, and we see the women he is attracted to based on the women throughout his life…he is not a pedophile. We also know the Deep State has been in possession of information they previously gathered or contrived for a number of years.
That said, I think all should take a deep breath, and wait for additional credible information to come forth regarding this matter before jumping to conclusions. There is plenty of time and this is matter does not require an immediate rendering of verdict.
If someone is on the list and didn’t participate in corrupt, illegal, immoral or unethical activities then they have nothing to fear. Let the list be published….let all things good and bad be exposed to sunlight. The excuse that the list cannot be released because innocent people on are the list and they might get hurt only furthers the coverup of those who are criminally and morally corrupt and bankrupt. Further, if Epstein was in fact an operative for one or more Intel Services (Israel? I don’t think Pam Bondi “lied” about reviewing the Epstein “list”. I saw her whole interchange live. What happened was John Roberts asked her a question about releasing the Epstein client list and she gave a sloppy answer about the files being on her desk and she was reviewing it all. Basically, she gave a generalized answer to a question that was more specific (reminds me of Mike Pence when he was asked about Russian collusion before inauguration and he blurted out we haven’t talked to any Russians – this started the whole Mike Flynn debacle.

I have been watching CNN’s coverage, and they frame the Epstein story as a “conspiracy theory”. I heard Anderson Cooper say, “There have been phony flight logs out there for years”. The left has treated the Epstein story as a “hoax” for years. Now, Trump says it is a hoax.
This story is not a hoax or a “conspiracy theory”. The victims are very real, as is the cover-up.
