President Trump sent out a very strong message on Truth Social today. “[M]y PAST supporters have bought into this “bullshit,” hook, line, and sinker,” Trump said. Adding, “I don’t want their support anymore!”
President Trump was then asked why he thought his supporters were so focused on the Jeffrey Epstein saga during an impromptu press conference. Response Below:
Obviously President Trump wants his supporters to drop talking about this story, and I must admit I was wrong. I earnestly believed someone close to President Trump would explain why his support base was/is focused on the Epstein scandal as representative of government control of information.
While the “Epstein stuff” in general has never been a subject of great interest here, I simply cannot explain this level of disconnect toward those to whom the story is important. This is new because President Trump has always reflected his understanding of his hardcore base of support, even when the details were difficult to understand.

Also, unlike Republicans, they stick together like glue. I have had more success in 6 months than perhaps any President in our Country’s history, and all these people want to talk about, with strong prodding by the Fake News and the success starved Dems, is the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax. Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!

I have never seen an issue divide the support base of President Trump like the DOJ/FBI response to the “Epstein file” inquiries. This is very unfortunate and completely avoidable.
This is just another mind-numbing wasted conspiracy just like UFOs, the Kennedy assassination, J6 conspiracy, etc. The Dems have had this issue/file for years and you know that they would have used it as a club to hurt the GOP if there was any angle they could figure it out to do so. Let’s get on with it. In any case, America sadly does not do “accountability” anymore so there is absolutely nothing to gain in running this rabbit. So after all of the good things President Trump continues to bring to the people…I sincerely hope that this single conspiracy doesn’t make you throw in the towel and vote for a Democrat. After all, there will surely be plenty more conspiracies to yak about in the future.
I must admit I’m baffled by Trump’s response on this. Of course, my working theory has always been that this story has international implications. Given Trump’s visceral response to the pushback from his base, I will further surmise that if it has the international implications I suspect it to, that it may have the power to bring down the whole order of things as we know them in a catastrophic manner. That may seem to be good on the surface, but it would lead to economic upheaval of a magnitude unimaginable. I’m not a “4D chess” believer of Trump. This was a misstep of epic proportions and he’s lashing out as he is wont to do when something he’s politically marketing doesn’t work the way he wants it to. I also don’t think Epstein was ever that big a deal for Trump anyway. The corruption and depravity of the whole thing probably isn’t that shocking to Trump. Not because he’s been involved in any way, but because the rich, famous and connected in general are corrupt and depraved. Trump may truly have a blind spot as to how the average working person looks at this as symbolic of that depravity and corruption getting sheltered. At any rate, he better find a fix for it. The “influencers” are tearing apart his coalition.
Maybe both can be true.
There definitely seems to be a cover up with anything related to Epstein.

The Epstein story is being used as a shiny distraction to divide weaken Trump’s base support before the midterms. It may just convince enough supporters to stay home and not bother to go out and vote. That will allow enough margin of the cheating to succeed and hamstring the implementation of any American first policy through Congress.
Trump seems very concerned about that possibility and has no time or patience for any extra unnecessary drama. He sees how high the stakes are and how close this country is to the abyss.
Well, if he was concerned about slim margins in future elections, telling any current supporters that you “dont want their support anymore” would be a truly terrible decision.
