Obviously President Trump wants his supporters to drop talking about this story, and I must admit I was wrong. I earnestly believed someone close to President Trump would explain why his support base was/is focused on the Epstein scandal as representative of government control of information.
While the “Epstein stuff” in general has never been a subject of great interest here, I simply cannot explain this level of disconnect toward those to whom the story is important. This is new because President Trump has always reflected his understanding of his hardcore base of support, even when the details were difficult to understand.

It’s all the other stuff and the National Enquirer fixation on conspiracies, to the point of overwhelming everything we’d hoped this administration would be about (and has been, until this became the central issue), that has the President disgusted.
Personally, I’m not bothered that people have questions or don’t automatically buy the narrative they’ve been given. It’s the fixation on it, and the inability to pigeonhole it and move on, that disturbs me. Conservatives will fixate on things that ultimately will hand power to people diametrically opposed to everything they stand for, and then subsequently cry about the direction of the country as if they never saw it coming.

In addition, interviewing the flight crews and all of the employees who worked for Epstein on the island and in New York. On top of all that the FBI would have interviewed the men as well to get their side of the story.

Investigating “Epstein” is worth the effort because WE KNOW there are very bad people in very powerful position, wealthy people who get off on having sex with kids. That must stop. And the only way is to make it clear: no matter what we will find you, we will arrest you, we will charge you, you will go to prison.

As Sundance says, there’s trillions at stake, and that’s what President Trump has been going after.
Those who were involved with Epstein have little to no shame, understand that accountability probably isn’t going to happen, but they do fear cuts in the revenue streams that help them attain and retain power. And its those very streams that Trump is targeting by remaking the global trade order.
That’s why the memo was leaked, to Axios, at the same time the tarrif letters were going out.

So Epstein was important before, but now it’s not?! T is off the rails on this and several other things. Whoever is advising him is doing a disservice to the movement. I also agree with Sundance on Bondi.
I’ve stuck by this guy since the beginning and now he’s telling me to go piss off. T sure knows how to treat people that have been loyal to him. /sarc Sure pal, see ya. All talk.
I just take this one way. Trump is not going to be distracted this time of the battle to Make America Great Again. His first term proved that distractions are able to re-route the direction that he is trying to take this country. He has ONE last chance, and this is the battle he has chosen. I myself will stay on board with the plan of getting this country back to being the “beacon on a hill” it once was. No time for off ramps or short cuts this time. “Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!” MAGA!

One of the top three reasons we voted in 2024 was to Finally get a DoJ that gets to the bottom of these scandals.
So when this airhead Bondi took Matt Gaetz’ place we knew the jig was up. It’s only continued downhill since and we’re over the hopium. It’s not Epstein per se but the continued middle finger on a central doctrine.
AND: It is possible to be a MAGA/Trump supporter while being critical of that team’s decisions.
