Obviously President Trump wants his supporters to drop talking about this story, and I must admit I was wrong. I earnestly believed someone close to President Trump would explain why his support base was/is focused on the Epstein scandal as representative of government control of information.
While the “Epstein stuff” in general has never been a subject of great interest here, I simply cannot explain this level of disconnect toward those to whom the story is important. This is new because President Trump has always reflected his understanding of his hardcore base of support, even when the details were difficult to understand.

I have never seen an issue divide the support base of President Trump like the DOJ/FBI response to the “Epstein file” inquiries. This is very unfortunate and completely avoidable.

I will still support President Trump but I am disappointed in the way he has handled this. We don’t know how far this crime against humanity goes, but let us assume that it involves world leaders, Fortune 500 CEOs, and the elite across the entire world.
First, we have no idea which world leaders it would affect, which regions it would destabilize, or even which company’s stocks be affected.
While “stock prices” may seem trivial compared to justice, would you be willing to sacrifice the pension funds of millions of working-class Americans? Would PDJT?
Your own? What if it were your retirement that became worthless because half the Fortune 500 CEOs of the
past 30 years were implicated?
Would you be willing, or let your children (to) live a retirement in poverty when you say “damn the consequences?”
Further, if world leaders are implicated, would you be willing to send your children to war, a war that may only be being held back because the CIA has blackmail on a hostile world leader (or even a friendly one), just so that the documents are released?
Are you yourself willing to die in a war that the CIA’s blackmail theoretically might have prevented?
These are part of the consequences that could plausibly happen if we emotionally say “damn the consequences” and assume that we ourselves will not suffer for them.

Further, if the CIA was involved (likely, more definitely), would we be willing to cede the moral high ground to the Chinese Communist Party, which would immediately capitalize on such a propaganda coup against the West? And if Mossad was involved, or Ariel Sharon, would we be willing to allow a second Holocaust to happen after Israel loses all standing internationally?
Perhaps some would (we’ve seen recently that there are some virulent antisemites on the right), but no sane person would take that position. Some may even think it worth letting the CCP get a “win” over this.
Well, when a Chinese soldier throws you up against a wall and shoots you or your children/grandchildren in the back of the head (or worse – there are historical war pictures (other than the Holocaust ones, most commonly known) most people do not see or know about) because we lost a war with China, I hope these people are satisfied that they did the right thing.
This is the most amazing president of my lifetime (born in 1954). The Epstein issue is important to me because it exposes the evils that exist today. Clearly President Trump doesn’t comprehend how serious this issue is to a large portion of his base, and why it’s important to us. I don’t think he’s ever been more wrong about something in his life than he is right now, and that’s a shame.

An interesting tidbit that I discovered last night is that Howard Lutnick, seen above next to Trump, lived in the Townhouse directly next door to Epstein’s for 21 years! I wonder if they were close friends?
I suspect there is little to come out on the Epstein story. Remember that he was busted all the way back in 2008. That’s seventeen years ago. No doubt he was working for one or more intel services, but those people have ways of covering their tracks and they have had a very long time to do so. I’m not invested in this particular story.
But this is bigger than the Epstein story. If Trump was sticking to his guns on everything else he’d get a pass on Epstein. It’s when he signals his support for amnesty for illegals, backs escalation of the war in Ukraine, and endorses Lindsey Graham for reelection next year on top of the Epstein business that his supporters start to recoil. And his calling us “radical right” for objecting to the above actions on his part is tone deaf at best.

All the on air appearances, the binder rollout that was 99.9999% old news but was done with incredible fanfare, “it’s on my desk right now” and lastly, she comes out and essentially says, move along, nothing to see here you perverts. Case done.
I’m disappointed President Trump is actively seeking to alienate his ardent supporters.
I pray someone close to him can get him to see that the populace will not tolerate being treated like this.
We’ve taken decades of abuse from our government and while he has done tremendous things, feeding us the same “nothing to see here” does not comport with radical transparency especially when it involves the FBI and DOJ.
It doesn’t sound like Trump to denigrate his supporters and tell them he doesn’t work them anymore. I hope he gets over it.
