Obviously President Trump wants his supporters to drop talking about this story, and I must admit I was wrong. I earnestly believed someone close to President Trump would explain why his support base was/is focused on the Epstein scandal as representative of government control of information.
While the “Epstein stuff” in general has never been a subject of great interest here, I simply cannot explain this level of disconnect toward those to whom the story is important. This is new because President Trump has always reflected his understanding of his hardcore base of support, even when the details were difficult to understand.

I have never seen an issue divide the support base of President Trump like the DOJ/FBI response to the “Epstein file” inquiries. This is very unfortunate and completely avoidable.
I always wonder for the past several decades the Congress and politicians have done things that are so obviously aiming to destroy America and hurt ordinary Americans. Yet the members of Congress, politicians, and judges seem not afraid of losing their next elections or anger us.
Other than money behind all their decisions, are there any other things they are more afraid of than the voters? Could one of these other things be “blackmails”? Would the Epstein files shed some light on these questions?
Then again, what if the deep state is hijacking the E files, after so many years, to do a “Russia Russia” again? What are the pros and cons of releasing the files now after so many years in the possession of the deep state evil?
I would guess PDJT is asking similar questions and has come up with the answer. Time will tell. Until then, he has my support.

Ghislaine Maxwell has always been the one who claimed to have the client list, not Epstein though he did have the blackmail video tapes. When Ghislaine was brought to trial, she claimed she duplicated the list and gave it to a reliable person (lawyer I believe) on the chance that she Epsteined herself. Where is the list? Ghislaine and that person know; perhaps Julian, but he’s learned to keep his mouth shut.

H2A, Migrant Worker Visas have been legal since 1958. Trump almost always over/understates a position with statements that call into question his resolve or loyalty to his base.
It is Migrant workers who have held those Visas in past decades the migrate to the US for seasonal farm work. They went back home until the next season.
If I read it correctly, Trump is simply reestablishing the use of H2A Visas as some clarifications needed to be made to the existing law.

I don’t know what has happened. That is the entire point. The story has changed multiple times. My issue is not Epstein per se; it is transparency, honesty, and trust.

Here is my suggestion: appoint a Special Council to investigate the chain of custody of all evidence collected, and then prosecute the mishandling of evidence found. While this is unlikely to bag trophy prizes, it will inhibit a return to politicized law enforcement.

I voted for him on that basis, holding my nose over his long term association with the CIA.

So much so that when the GOP again nominated him in ’92, I campaigned for Perot in the Hampton VA district, eventually leading his effort there. We lost but did better than the nationwide numbers. In hindsight, Perot was right.
I voted for Trump in 16, 20, and 24 on his promise to drain the swamp, prosecute it’s criminals, restore our borders, and be transparent in all those efforts.
Whether the Epstein line now being sold by DJT et al, is true or not, my bottom line is that DJT et al is clearly not being transparent with me.
Again, I’m being told to shut up and follow the company line without any credible evidence or documentation to support the line we’re being fed.
