As expected, no one in the media pool asked the key question. If Ukraine is not a NATO member, and Russia is not a NATO member, then why is NATO even involved? Not a single media outlet cared enough to even ask the brutally obvious.
LET US NOT PRETEND. There is good news and there is bad news within the outlined strategy. More good than bad, despite the spin room narrative engineering being immediately spread by U.S. media.
First, President Trump is giving Russian President Vladimir Putin 50 days to finish his strategic military operations in Ukraine, before a 100% tariff rate is executed against the Russian economy. With direct U.S. trade with Russia already not happening, the tariff would likely be applied toward any country purchasing any goods or resources from Russia (specifically India, China, Iran, etc.).
Second, despite Lindsey Graham and the EU leaders discussing the confiscation of Russian assets held in EU/USA bonds, neither President Trump nor NATO General Secretary Mark Rutte mentioned it. Again, the media never asked that question. Thankfully, President Trump seems to realize if such a confiscation took place, the financial credibility of the entire western finance system would be compromised. No nation would want to put their national wealth at risk by buying U.S. and EU treasury bonds.
Third, the part the MSM will focus on. In the interim of the 50 days, NATO will be both purchasing and moving offensive and defensive weapons systems into Ukraine. On the defensive weapon side, Germany will likely send Patriot missile batteries, and NATO will replace them with new U.S. purchases. In addition all NATO states will provide increased offensive weapons and purchases will be made from U.S. stockpiles. Those new offensive weapons will likely be held back until the end of the 50 days, giving Putin something to think about to bring him to the table.
Summary. Putin has 50 days. In the interim NATO is approved by Trump to ship offensive and defensive weapons into Ukraine. The Senate sanctions package will continue to be assembled, perhaps approved, but not deployed until after the 100% tariffs are executed if Russia is non compliant in getting to the table.
The carrot is the 50 days to get finished. The stick is all hell will break loose on Russia, including new and powerful offensive weapons, if Putin doesn’t end the conflict prior to the 50-day deadline.

Well, if the tariffs hurt China and India esp. then maybe they will tell Vlad to end the war in 49 days declaring strong Russian victory..
Nato is NOT buying the weapons. …… Individual countries that are Nato members are. …… Putin has made it very clear that once he has fully occupied Ukraine that he will invade another country. ….. The only way to stop this is to drive Putins army completely out of ALL of Ukraine.

You knuckleheads are insane.
Trillions of dollars at stake. The whole world too.
Recent DNI threat assessments must be a good read.
Russia. NATO. Oligarchs all over, especially the WEF-NGO-Soros globalgulagists.
Rutte is a member of that.
The facts via Mike Benz and Joe Rogan “Top 20 Deep State Revelations”…

And today come’s a Russian ally in the halls of Tehran, seeking mercs to assassinate the world’s most powerful anti-globalgulagist President. The CIA has mentioned Iranian plans on US soil even a year ago before the Butler attempt. No mention of CCP China though.
We live in interesting times.
Where ae you elites going to source your caviar and vodka?
50 days brings us to September 4th. September has been a deadly month for the USA with regard to attacks. I do hope our IC is much more reliable than the past. I can hardly wait to get that Golden Dome in place.
Trump has no leverage over Russia. Sanctions won’t do it and neither will bombing them into the stone age.
Russia has all the cards. They can sabotage the internet, all the gas pipelines in Europe, and close the Suez Canal.
While we are at it, forget Taiwan. The commies have enough rockets and missiles to obliterate Taiwan from one end to the other according to a US admiral.
I don’t think China would want to completely level Taiwan even if they could.
One reason is that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC) is a world class manufacturer of semiconductors with some of their most advanced foundries in Taiwan proper. Though, they are dispersing their production facilities elsewhere of late like the US southwest.
Between Taiwanese and US forces there are likely agreements specifically to prevent the capture of such industrial facilities, proprietary processes, and technologies in any such eventuality.
This is going to backfire spectacularly. Putin will use the 50 day window to launch a huge offensive that will capture 50% of Ukraine. He’s going to use weapons he has held back so far. The casualties will be awful. The West has pushed Putin into this by basically treating Ukraine as a full fledged NATO member which Russia cannot accept. Just as the U.S. would never accept Mexico becoming part of a military partner with Russia and hosting Russian bases.

will these so called tarriffs ALSO INCLUDE OIL AND GAS?
if it doesn’t, then why not?
serious question.
yes, you see Europe wants it both ways. and let me say this thing loud again so there is no uncertainty. THIS IS AN ENERGY WAR.
I’m really interested to know just exactly what possible restrictions against Russia can actually happen that have not already been attempted and has failed miserably.
this really seems like a political rhetoric…I can hear the laughter from the kremlin.
if you really really really want to stop this war, it’s quite simple….and yet the so called leadership pretends they don’t know…
deal 100: Russia, stop the war and you get x y and z in ukraine AND the unfettered access and control over deep water ports and 4 major trade deals with Ukraine to utilize on a lease basis land and infrastructure for pipeline, rail and shipping of your energy resources. In return for ending the war, you will pay the entire cost of the restoration of ukraines infrastructure over a period of 40 years. Direct debits from the sales of your oil and gas will pay for this recovery. There will no Russian marshall plan. Ukraine remains sovereign under it own laws and central state and benefits exceeding my the massive amount of revenue in partnership and lease agreements for the oil and has trade. There will no war crimes tribunals however, specific cases/instances of killing of prisoners of war will be investigated on both sides. Brussels will be the venue for the justice format.
additionally, nato countries, EU and the US and UK will have trade priority secondary only to Ukraine. Normalized trade agreements will be made on the basis of a complete demobilization of long range ballistic missiles in the region. A no fly zone will be established over the entire airspace of Ukraine to include autonomous drones, whether armed or not.
to get peace, you must solve the energy war. You negotiate that so that everyone benefits.
God Bless America

Globalist neocons, 1990: “Let’s carve up Russia!”
Globalist neocons, 2025: “Ok, let’s just carve up Ukraine and call it a win. We control the east-west pipelines, now time to get to work on the north-south INSTC trade corridor through Iran.”
Please, why the visual of NATO with Trump?
The rest is play on words.
Why is Trump applauding Graham and Thune?
Pl- ease, we are at war with Eurasia 1984 is upon us.
The optics of war is upon us, this is now Trump’s war.
Trump has tried to stop the war.
Now its in the pretending phase.
It was real at first but congress has forced this on Trump kinda excrpta the bigly bill had funds to expand war. So it really is trump’s war because he signed the BBB and signed off on the war by doing so.
Reality vs pretending.
Got to make it appear otherwise.
Look how graham light in the loafers is acting.
Weird WW3 war freak.
And ps.
All these tariff treasury super funds are for the ukraine war military industrial complex.
Did someone say war?

Yes. He inherited it from the morons in the Democrat party. Nows he’s trying to end it with out setting fire to the earth
It is not, and never will be Trump’S War–it will be Trump’s ‘Peace’
Trump applauds those who have some power and seem capable of helping. Successful people do that.
The weapons are a distraction I think. And how nice that we are able to get NATO to buy up our old stock. My opinion is It won’t come to that because the real threat is taking away any energy buyers. Everyone forgets Russia is really just a big gas station. If you want to talk earth elements or anything else, ok, but only a small attached convenience store’s worth. I’m sure Trump can appreciate Putin’s war on getting rid of the laundromat part of Ukraine, but the killing needs to stop and the sanctions are the big threat to keep Putin aligned.
So we’re further depleting US munitions stock by “selling” NATO a new weapons inventory with the cash we gave them as US incurred debt… Avoiding just simply “giving” the weapons directly to Ukraine because that would be hypocritical.
Seems totally legit… If you’re an imbecile!!
Hopefully having NATO involved will slow down the grift and theft of funds. Since they are paying the USA, we ensure that the European grifters will not include Graham and the other senators. Because now those grifters will have one source for their funds: the defense contractor or lobbyist.
How many Patriots can the US make in a year? A gentle reminder, Russian A400/A450 and A500 are in serial production and have been for years. Threatening Russia with more powerful offensive weapons? Russia has some very powerful offensive weaponry too. Time to talk not shoot, time to stop ordering Russia/China to bend to the US will, they wont do it and it can only end in disaster for both sides and especially Globalist Europe, its likely a competition, will they go broke or be melted first?
My friend used to work in manufacturing of aerospace and defense products in the USA. He literally quit because he was tired of being taxed to death. Until we solve that problem…. our country as a whole is weak as F*ck….. please excuse my language, but it;’s to the point. Taxes are going to wipe us out… both economically and militarily.
Yup I agree Harry
What can the “Patriots” do on Kinzhal hypersonic Russian missiles?
Watch these performances: https://www.sandboxx.us/news/why-calling-russias-kinzhal-a-hypersonic-missile-is-a-stretch/
The arms industry manufactures to sell, not to be efficient, right?
Trump just gave Putin 50 days to finish the Job of leveling Ukraine, “bets anyone?”
Why 50 days? How about 3 weeks? Maybe it will take 50 days to send and train Ukrainians on long range HIMARS accompanied by AGM-88 HARM missiles. The AGM-88G has an estimated range of 300 K. Nice bridge you have there Vlad…..
What about our directed energy planes? The ones with lasers in a nose cone on the front of the plane? Or those microwave beams that were used in Australia to conrol the crowd protestng the lockdowns/jab mandates.
How about this Microwave weapon.
https://x.com/Defence_Index/status/1944887484631965821
The Ukrainians have used HIMARS many times before to target the Kerch bridge with zero luck: The Russians have its measure, in fact they have managed to destroy quite a few launchers in the last year or so.
If Scalps/Storm shadows, with stealth, and countermeasure capabilities haven’t been successful, then nothing conventional a HIMARS delivers will do any better.
As for HARMs, they are anti radar missiles,. The clue is in the name… Ain’t gonna take out bridges with them.
Btw, they are air to surface, which means any aircraft delivering them has a max standoff range of 300km, making it vulnerable to long range integrated AD, and aircraft AtA missiles.
So far, Russian warfare against Ukraine has not been impressive.
Natos proxy war with all it’s combined might, and flooding Ukraine with all its “wonder weapons”, money, and Intel services have been much less impressive…
I wish we were all spared of the sanctions theater… Russia has already been heavily sanctioned…they have been kicked out of SWIFT and if these are secondary sanctions on the other BRICS countries, I do not see how they can be enforced…most of the insurance companies which ship oil out of Russia to India, China etc are no longer based out of UK/London.. i am not able to see Trump’s play yet…
These 50 days may be just the time required to get the logistics in place for further war with Russia…no way will Putin accept the demands of Trump without being seen as a weak leader by his people
I think the sanctions are a given at this point…as for offensive weapons etc this is pure war profiteering, the Ukrainians aren’t trained to use them and these might end up being a dud/having little influence on the final outcome.
So, Trump has gone from stopping the war in a day to prolonging the war… I cant infer anything else
I cannot recall the last time I have seen Lindsey Graham so happy.
He’s positively giddy nowadays.
Putin won’t stop until at least all of the Russian majority areas and especially Odessa are secured.
I seem to remember back in 1958-59 Eisenhower started sending a “small number” of “military advisors” to South Vietnam to help train the SV military. And then …………
It may have been as early as 1954.
Putin isn’t going to budge until Trump shows he has control of the intel agencies. Putin has firsthand experience from the 1990s till today–when a U.S. president promises something to Russia, it is never fulfilled because it is the deep state that calls the shots, not the president. He also knows our history and what Trump is up against, i.e., JFK. Putin does not hate America, he hates the CIA.
Where’s Tulsi? Let her out of the penalty box. The “criminal referrals” from Ratcliffe to DOJ…kayfabe or for real?
Trump needs more than 50 days to get the IC under his control. Can he do it in 50?
This plus more, much much more.
Watch for Ukrainian.attacks on schools, day care centers and hospitals on the 49th day.
Yep; all signed by the US taxpayer.
John Mearsheimer: Trump’s Fooling Himself
The war started because the US wanted to get Ukraine into NATO. The head of NATO is sitting right there. No one asks if NATO and Ukraine agree that Ukraine will never be a part of NATO. If they would agree that Ukraine will never be a part of NATO today Russia would not need the other 49 days to end the war. Everyone knows this but no one dares to bring it to the front burner. No wonder Cat has that look on his face.
50 days to understand the supply & deployment chains?
Getting arms around intel arms?
Donald Trump has agreed to resume military aid to Ukraine and has given Russia an ultimatum. According to Trump, if Russia doesn’t turn up to negotiations over the next 50 days, the US will impose 100% tariffs on all Russia’s trading partners. He has also announced 17 Patriot batteries to be sent over to Ukraine. Mark Rutte and European NATO allies have welcomed this move.
Bluffing Russia won’t work. Was this the Evil Genius’ idea?
All money is fungible. All weapons are fungible. The ‘Proxy War’ has escalated.
“President Trump views this as a protracted, stalemated conflict. And frankly, it’s a proxy war between nuclear powers – the United States, helping Ukraine, and Russia – and it needs to come to an end”. Marco Rubio
Setting the table with this truth was extraordinary leverage for encouraging peace talks. Gaining the support of the American people to enter yet another conflict, especially when they are not eager to spill or spend their own blood or treasure in such a foreign entanglement, is near impossible. However, it would take a great leader some time, and a lot of convincing for that willingness to change.
What has happened in the last fifty days has set the stage for what will happen in the next fifty. In the last fifty days:
On June 14th, a Grand Army was paraded in Washington DC. It was followed a week later by a magnificent display of military stealth and prowess in Iran. On Independence Day, a B-2 flyover the White House simultaneously celebrated the signing of the BBB, announcing the financial wealth and the military health of the nation is strong. As a result, recruitment is up, pride and confidence in the Armed Forces is up. These are prerequisites for a nation’s readiness or potential to engage in world conflagration. They are rudimentary, but developing.
The rest of the world can see the Big Stick swelling up behind the ‘all hell breaking loose on Russia.’
“the Big Stick swelling up behind the ‘all hell breaking loose on Russia.’”
There is no big stick.
Only the road to oblivion… for all.
We’re a paper tiger….. taxes are eating us alive. That’s the behemoth that must be solved immediately, or the country will fall in a real WAR. People cannot afford to live, cars, housing… food, taxes are wiping most of the American citizens out…. even amidst having jobs.
Conspiracies and stuff; US/Global MSM narratives and stuff, all for theater, however, I have some thoughts.
Yes, Occam’s Razor and all but, what if, during all those talks with Russia by Trump’s proxies, without IC embeds, some truths and non-pretending conversations occurred?
Both Trump (Senate, i.e., Graham and USIC) and Putin (military, his people, etc.) have to maintain certain images in the global pretending sphere painted by those constraints (things in parentheses) have discussed this, albeit not directly but in the context of the pretending. Maybe both know this path: let Putin finish and Trump showing his firm toughness, are both needed to get this to a conclusion in 50 days. The USIC being the beast that gets defanged, as it pertains to Ukraine, in this scenario.
Putin holds the cards- he can wipe Ukraine out without the US’s intervention.
Regardless, I’m sick and tired of rich elites like Graham constantly using our sons and daughters as fodder for BS they would never put themselves on the frontline for….excuse my language but Ms. Graham, and others like him, are damn #ussies.
Agree. All made to make Putin look like a Big Threatening Boss of a Big Country where he might otherwise look like a Big Softie doing his part to rid the world of bad guys like the money launderers in Ukraine. The weapons and sanctions may be attributed to the Big Show, but I think a bit of Trust But Verify is in play as well.
What about just getting rid of NATO so nobody gets any bright ideas. Like, attacking russia, maybe.
I think Trump is being fed Bullshit by NATO, EU, our IC agencies that Ukraine was negotiating with Russia. They never intended to do it. NATO and Rutte is lying his ass off. Trump is complimenting, he’s now a great guy. He actually wants a war with Russia, there are too many people that are lying to him. No offense to Melania but if she’s watching America or European media she’s getting propaganda
The problem Zelenskyy has, is the big money guys are from Donetsk…. also some from Odessa, Z siding with Biden and Obama basically made that region uninhabitable as a war zone. Anything Democrats touch, gets F^cked simple as that.
I don’t see this ending anytime soon unless Trump takes a gamble in Moscow
similar to what he did on Teheran. The issue is that Russia is not Iran and that’s a highly unlikely scenario. Trump could bomb where the big cheese guys live and take them out but again, that’s not going to change Putin’s stance materially. We are at an impasse and lest we forget, the real bad guys are the IC and deep state operatives who will not stop aiding and abetting Ukrain, defying the CinC
Putin and Lavrov have delivered their goals for the SMO and have only restated and never changed those goals – denazification of the Ukraine govt, no NATO membership ever, neutrality and disarmament, drop the Russian language and culture bans and stop discriminating against Russian speaking populations in Ukraine. Whenever USA and NATO become comfortable with these goals, this war could stop very rapidly.
I would be very happy to see Ukraine fall, evict its leaders and let the Ukraine people start rebuilding.
I never expected Sundance to try to blow sunshine up our asses yet here we are.
None of us voted for an expanded war in Ukraine. None of us voted for a John McCain foreign policy. None of us voted for more. NATO. None of us want Lindsey Graham foreign policy.
The war is not going to end in 50 days because Russia cannot accept anything at this point except complete capitulation from Ukraine. Because they are very clearly threatening to join NATO, and Russia considers that an existential threat.
This bluster about tariffs and how anyone trading with Russia will have 100% tariffs is exactly that. Bluster. I just don’t understand why people are cheerleading us into World War III.
Blessings and prayers for success and cooperation between Presidents Trump & Putin.
This is a gamble.
50 Days is nothing in a war that is into the 3rd year.
This strategy will force:
1. China to break with Russia and become more dependent on the West. Thus China “has peaked” and will begin a slow downhill collapse. Unless they take action to unify the country against one enemy: Taiwan.
..and..
Russia to be physically existentially threatened: read their nuclear doctrine here, so you can guess the response.
..or..
2. China will not break with Russia, thus will be hit by an “economic blockade” of sorts. In the short term, this will rattle the US economy as it will feel the impact. This will increase trade between Russia-China. China will have a “casus beli”, again with Taiwan being a target.
It’s unlikely China will chose 1. because it will look weak and that can have severe internal issues for the Communists.
It will be 2. that’s gonna go.
But! Forcing China and India to chose sides, it is likely, they will chose the side that’s not pushing them into it. No country likes to be forced into something, especially large, nationalistic countries.
The US will literally go against the World.
I think this is an ultimate Bluff.
Russia will rather go nuclear than submit or lose their sovereignty. So will China.
India will know that if they “play” with the country that’s bullying it into hostility with other nations, they will be bullied and disrespected again.
If anything, I think that:
Russia will be more aggressive in Ukraine; it will probably “accidentally” drop bimbs on the US embassy.
China will probably send troops to Ukraine to show they are not weak. It will also probably start an unofficial blockade of Taiwan.
India will probably decide to stay “unaligned” by “doing nothing”. That means the US will be the one taking hostile trade action against it.
Ohh — there will be huge opportunities to buy stocks on the cheap in Sept/Oct as our Exchanges will tumble…..
Ultimately – I think Trump will say “I tried everything” but I cannot go against the world. Or, there will be an extension and a diplomatic meeting with Putin…
“Tough negotiator”
Why is NATO involved….Because The US Gov’t installed by 0’bama wanted to join NATO, and Russia thought NOT. And had an opportunity to take Crimea, which they did.
NOW Pr. Trump wants to give the whole thing to EU, get US out, stop the killing, and start a working relationship with Russia and neutralize CCP.
Zi seems to be under pressure, and possibly on his way out. Maybe Pr. Trump is working on a ‘triple’ play—defusing Ukraine/Russia/EU–Calming ME—Caging in China.
Ignore “US”
Am I the only one that thinks Trump is getting NATO to buy our outdated weaponry?
The thing to ponder- Russia already has a 6th Generation Army.
https://ciaotest.cc.columbia.edu/olj/iarj/iarj_04_02/iarj_04_02b.html
Drones and Hypersonic missiles rule the modern battlefield, major advances are made by squads and individual armored vehicles. Flags and Geolocations mark the maps
For now, tanks no longer dominate the battlefield as they can be crippled by a cheap drone with an IED strapped to it.
Are we paying attention to any of this?
Putin doesn’t care. He wants the old Soviet Union empire back, and he’ll do what it takes to get it.
I can’t help comparing President Trump’s offer to Russia with President Lyndon Johnson’s offer to North Vietnam.
Johnson offered the North Vietnamese a carrot with no stick: Extensive economic assistance, the centerpiece of which was a massive hydroelectric project along the lines of the Tennessee Valley Authority. “Ol’ Ho can’t say no to that.”
Ho did say no. And LBJ had no idea idea what to do next.
President Trump is offering Russia a carrot AND a stick. 50 days to wrap this up, or else NATO will give the Ukrainians the weapons they need to inflict serious damage and possibly even push Russian troops back.
President Trump’s proposal has some teeth in it.
50 days for the Russians to militarily solidify their claims to the four provinces while the weather is decent.
Future boundaries will require geographically defensible lines.
Ending the war will also require prohibition of Ukraine NATO membership.
