As expected, no one in the media pool asked the key question. If Ukraine is not a NATO member, and Russia is not a NATO member, then why is NATO even involved? Not a single media outlet cared enough to even ask the brutally obvious.
LET US NOT PRETEND. There is good news and there is bad news within the outlined strategy. More good than bad, despite the spin room narrative engineering being immediately spread by U.S. media.
First, President Trump is giving Russian President Vladimir Putin 50 days to finish his strategic military operations in Ukraine, before a 100% tariff rate is executed against the Russian economy. With direct U.S. trade with Russia already not happening, the tariff would likely be applied toward any country purchasing any goods or resources from Russia (specifically India, China, Iran, etc.).
Second, despite Lindsey Graham and the EU leaders discussing the confiscation of Russian assets held in EU/USA bonds, neither President Trump nor NATO General Secretary Mark Rutte mentioned it. Again, the media never asked that question. Thankfully, President Trump seems to realize if such a confiscation took place, the financial credibility of the entire western finance system would be compromised. No nation would want to put their national wealth at risk by buying U.S. and EU treasury bonds.
Third, the part the MSM will focus on. In the interim of the 50 days, NATO will be both purchasing and moving offensive and defensive weapons systems into Ukraine. On the defensive weapon side, Germany will likely send Patriot missile batteries, and NATO will replace them with new U.S. purchases. In addition all NATO states will provide increased offensive weapons and purchases will be made from U.S. stockpiles. Those new offensive weapons will likely be held back until the end of the 50 days, giving Putin something to think about to bring him to the table.
Summary. Putin has 50 days. In the interim NATO is approved by Trump to ship offensive and defensive weapons into Ukraine. The Senate sanctions package will continue to be assembled, perhaps approved, but not deployed until after the 100% tariffs are executed if Russia is non compliant in getting to the table.
The carrot is the 50 days to get finished. The stick is all hell will break loose on Russia, including new and powerful offensive weapons, if Putin doesn’t end the conflict prior to the 50-day deadline.

It’s amusing that only old farts are interested in Vietnam 2.0. The US ran out of Iraq; now Iraq wants Vietnam 2.0 in Russia.
Smells a lot like 1965, doesn’t it?
I wonder if any of the weapons that the US will be sending over to NATO nations will ever get to Ukraine. IIRC, NATO countries in the EU pretty much emptied their warehouses of weapons and sent them to Ukraine, during the entirety of this conflict…so much so that it was theorized that there was little stock left in the EU. I suspect that the weapons we are sending (and NATO is purchasing) is meant to restock those weapons, rather than going to the conflict. I can also envision a private phone call between Presidents Trump and Putin:
Trump: Vlad, how long do you need to end this conflict?
Putin: Give me 50 days.
Trump: Done.
I’ve also read today that Zelensky has left Kiev. If so, I wonder why……
yes. there’s a decent chance that the ongoing behind scenes conversations are on the same page and going just fine.
I think President Putin will come around, Zelinsky never should have provoked him. He gave him a green-light.
The Russians have gotten everything they wanted, historically (like all the Europeans) they always take a little more when things have gone well.
“The Russians have gotten everything they wanted”
i assume you speak of the physical land, which is actually NOT what they primarily demanded. just going form their words, which have been pretty consistent, their primary demands have NOT been met, and ghroughout the negotiations, have never been offered.
they want Ukraine neutral, not in NATO, demilitarized, and de-nazified. the demand to treat ethnic russians with respect is largely a non-issue now, due to their annexations of majority russian areas, so i guess we can say that demand has been met.
but the more we refuse to give that to them, the more of the land they are likely to take, that will no longer be on the table once it is gone. again, very consistently what they have SAID.
Hopefully it’s just a delicate situation and President Trump is working through it. It’s idiotic to be at war with Russia in their own sphere of interest. It would be like the Russians carrying on complex operations in Mexico or Canada and telling them to bomb us, we wouldn’t let that happen and neither will they. The “intelligence”community needs to be subject to oversight and Grand Jury Indictment. The venue can’t be in Washington D.C. because it’s impossible to get a conviction there. That’s a joke, and has to be fixed.
Like we all could foresee nothing dynamic or innovative is happening at Pam Bondi’s DOJ. I don’t think she knows how. Timid, weak, and incompetent – as usual it’s going to be up to President Trump and us. Hopefully massive federal lay-offs and budget cuts will be coming out of the IC bureaucracy and apparatus, that will probably work wonders alone.
“It would be like the Russians carrying on complex operations in Mexico or Canada and telling them to bomb us, we wouldn’t let that happen and neither will they.”
Yep, spot on.
Now carry your analogy further. As the Russians send weapons to Mexico that the Mexicans are using against us, Putin tells Trump he has 50 days to stop fighting Mexico.
How would ANY American respond to that? How would Trump?
The Russians, and Putin, are not some little banana republic. Really a bad way of dealing with them.
I understand the analogy, yet to be fair, we, our military is some 40 percent into Mexico, and Putin just gave us 50 days to secure the buffer zone we wanted while allowing Russia to save some semblance of face.
I agree, MB – that has been glaringly obvious for so long – yet it seems to me that so many on this site, and elsewhere, have either failed to read/hear, or choose to be wilfully deaf and blind.
Where Pres. Trump obtains his information leaves me nonplussed (notwithstanding SD’s oft expressed advices) – surely he has people with a brain at his disposal, who can ferret out exactly what is happening – yet it appears (to me) not.
As for being all “gung ho”, I wonder if Pres. Trump’s advisors have given deep thought to the possible outcome of the 50 days threat? [The old term ‘GIGO’ springs to mind, as they model various scenarios].
And I wonder where Russian submarines are located.
Of course, it could be all bluff and bluster – and we shall surely see if that is so.
Damn Straight
That’s probably why President Trump can’t pull the plug completely – The Russians would just keep going – You can’t blame them that’s how cut-throat Europe has always been – that’s why you don’t go F-ing around in it like the U.S. “intelligence” community.
In terms of WWIII danger, this is the most optimistic thing I’ve read today.
I hope it’s accurate.
(Still, very unfortunate this war couldn’t be ended much earlier.)
Link re Zman pls.
“I’ve also read today that Zelensky has left Kiev.”
Link?
Source?
Bingo… within 50 days Putin will have the buffer zone he wants, and a neutral Ukraine. Trump will have a shot at reorganization of NATO to sanity.
( I hope this a good reading )
maybe the peoples of Europe (UK, Ger, France, et al) will but an end to this bs.
i genuinely wish that were so, and there is a sliver of hope for it.
that said, my recent, albeit very anecdotal evidence, suggests that 1-they are subject to far more monolithic propaganda and BS that keeps them from veering very far from the state’s opinions and “consensus”; and 2-they have signed up to far too many globalist controls that ensure they cannot reach a critical mass, short of something very unsavory, to go against the wishes of the state.
in short, they are largely marching in lockstep toweard this precipice, no longer aware how similar it looks to the early 20th century….
great points. Hard to argue and hard to put hope in Europeans (especially when it comes to not going to war)
That’s why they want us to fight it for them. Disgraceful.
NATO is buying weapons from us, the USA to give to Ukraine.
They will now foot the entire bill and may not like it. How deep are their pockets?
Don’t think they can. England, Germany and France are so infected with illegals and dei, they do not seem to be able to put a cogent thought together.
Funny how, the craziness, of the liberal Biden administration affected other countries they can’t vote from bad policies to good ones!
The Muslims community could care less. 😂🤷🏼♂️
Ukraine may not be a NATO member, but my viewpoint is, with a historical perspective will be that the memory of hundreds of years of wars by and between all those European nations, after having had a respite from wars of aggression since the end of both WWII and then the fall of the USSR, seeing a re-awakened natal Russian urge to expand must be scary as hell for the European continent as a whole and so are beside themselves with trying to figure out how to halt the natural predisposition of nations, whether the old Russia or, soon to emerge the now united Germany, the natural instincts in all the other nations for self defense while preparing for all out war must be off the charts, so are desperate to stop the hounds of war before they cannot be returned to their leash.
Their one hope, to stop this mess before it goes any further, is to lean on their NATO alliance and hope that the United States will come to their rescue now, before the world war begins, in hopes that it stops what is on its way to full blossom once China and Iran realize this is their one chance to grab what they have dreamed of grabbing before the United States with its European allies stop Russia.
Russia is not the good guy in this, even if they couldn’t resist the temptations earlier NATO dangled in front of it by expanding former USSR satellite nations into NATO’s orbit.
You are wrong.
Time will tell.
In the meantime, many prayers, and prepping days ahead.
“natal Russian urge to expand”
In point of historical fact, there is no “natal Russian urge to expand”.
Heck, even as the USSR Russia did not dissolve nations under it’s control. Poland remained Poland, Hungary remained Hungary, etc.
In fact, Russia has never invaded either eastern nor western europe, which the exact reverse is also true. Multiple times, western european nations have invaded Russia.
We obviously have read different history books.
Landslide24, you are correct about Russia being attacked many times by its neighbors.
Think of 1917/1923 Russian Revolution. Think OIL and a myriad array of natural resources — voila, a coup d’etat!
Bessie, i largely agree with your sentiment that europe has a legitimate, visceral fear that must be addressed – however misplaced it may be. i think that at times we are tone deaf to it because we don’t have to be there, but europe’s history is WAR. and more WAR. in their backyard. all their relatives. all their property. all that they love gets thrown into the fire. REPEATEDLY.
but their “one hope” is definitely NOT to lean on NATO and keep upping the ante of warmongering. IMO, that is the ONE kneejerk reaction that will ensure more war and probably further expansion. if war breaks out who do you think is going to be the crueles to the countries who tried depserately to STOP it, like Hungary? i bet my paycheck the Germans and French will absolutely destroy them, whereas the Russians will do what they can to avoid it.
and there is a long track record to suggest so.
their ONE HOPE is to do what russia has been asking for, for a LONG TIME: create and agree to a new security architecture that is deep and robust. they have very little reason to trust the west at this point, and so all of the bluster, ceasefires, and other empty calories will only ensure that the can is kicked down the road a little more.
Agree, that kneejerk reaction is all they know; thinking outside the box is just not in their tool box, and may be why so much hope has been placed in President Trump’s lap.
I do hope that one thing, that Russia did ask for, that its former satellite nations would not become part of NATO, is still an ask. I don’t think the current leader of Russia cares about that anymore. The need to conquer has been unleashed in the world, and Mr. Putin took the first bite of that apple and we get to see if it has as bitter taste in his mouth as it does for the other European nations.
Problem is, egos are now involved. Those are the hardest things in a leader to set aside.
What the hell are you reading ???
Too many to list here but would reference The Romanovs by W. Bruce Lincoln, The Outline of History, H.G. Wells, and A Peace to End All Peace by David Fromkin for the basic outline material and then dig into specifics which grabbed the attention from there. But, those were written before people began rewriting history to fill their personal agendas. History of the British monarchs and the various Popes through the centuries adds additional needed color for understanding the various reasons why some acts were taken and others not.
I blame England and their royal children. Especially queen Victorias bunch.
Well said, and politely done. Thank you for showing the reciepts.
Ah… your negative opinions of Russia makes since now. You’re assuming that 21st Century Russia is the same Imperial/ Communist Russia of early 20th Century.
Possible; then again, it is very rare for leopards to change spots and each nation has its mythos which its citizens hold up to compare their leaders within.
The Russian Federation is a far cry from the USSR.
Space Force is tracking a Russian spy satellite getting to close to ours. This should be interesting to watch. Drone wars are going to win future wars.
There are no good guys in this
100% true.

Not sure why anyone would cheerlead for the Globalist/Marxist Bolsheviks.

Do you understand why this war is happening
My understanding of what prompted it was the insistence by by former Presidents of the United States, using their leverage over NATO, to lure Russia into invading any of its neighbors so those previous Presidents could justify their reciprocal invasion to ‘take down Putin’ similar to the Hillary insistence to get rid of Assad and the Bush’s need to go after Hussein of Iraq. Behind all that is the UK egging the U.S. on as it looks at Russia as its only true competitor for achieving dominance in the middle east – and we know how that has all turned out.
No one is innocent in this. But Russia took the bait, drew 1st blood as the Rambo movie would say. I suspect President Trump will show no mercy. Ask Iran how that worked out.
No, the first blood was spilled in 2014 by CIA’s assets in Ukraine during the orange revolution. And then by Ukrainians killing more than 10,000 Russians in the eastern provinces.
Why do so many people not know this?
Why do so many people not know this?
Selective amnesia.
The same people who rely upon rewritten history refuse to acknowledge reality.
0.o
Because people with delicate and pretending sensibilities do not want to offend their sponsors and black-mailers. And up pops thousands of Ukrainian flags and blue and yellow fire hydrants and jersey barriers in the coastal enclaves of New England.
If by first blood you mean 2022, why do we not count Ukrainian Civil War and 8 years of shelling Russians in the Donbas, 14,000 dead, numerous times supposed to stop. Did not start in 2022 out of nowhere. Bad diplomacy by BoJo.
“Russia is not the good guy in this, even if they couldn’t resist the temptations earlier NATO dangled in front of it by expanding former USSR satellite nations into NATO’s orbit.”
And what are you gonna do about it?
Have a nuclear exchange? Because that’s the endpoint of it all. And there even more frightening weapons that are out there before it even gets to the nuclear stage. So keep that in the back of your mind.
What am I gong to do?
Sundance’s words are the best – Live our best life, each day, and follow the guidance of that inner voice which says, go here, go there as, other than our collective prayer those bigger decisions are out of our hands..
You?
This is not a mere Russian urge to expand.
dork/dôrk/noun
If you believe that President Trump is weakening the US militarily on behalf of China then press on with your delusion. What is amazing is that 5 trolls actually up voted your delusion.
Actually those here who say “Putin Good/Trump Bad” or “Putin Smart/Trump Stupid” get a lot of up votes here.
When Trump promised to continue a Ukraine proxy war, he locked up my vote! More War! (/S)
Trump doesn’t bluff. What if Putin doesn’t blink? It’s a legitimate concern.
Not just Putin. We’re threatening the entire rest of the world with these new movies. India, China, etc.
Dørk is a proper noun, a name to be exact. Notice the “ø” – that’s not an “o”.
“Dørk” is not pronounced like the American slur “dork”.

Thanks for adding to the record of ad hominem accumulating with CTH posters. It helps to understand the herd of the herdthink.
No one in the media has gone and asked the citizens of various countries that are NATO members if they want to spend huge sums of money and be involved on the side of Ukraine in a war with Russia. The answer would shock them because both NATO and the EU do not genuinely reflect the views of a large number of the citizens of their member countries. It is a cabal of politicians that are behind this. That is why I despise these political warmongers.
If only they could vote their way out of this… /s
And warmongers they are. I agree that the average European in the street rejects war with Russia or any other country. It appears that the predicate for war with Russia was largely if not completely caused by the US cia, comlete with false flag and social engineering. Russia through Putin has been objecting that Ukraine be accepted into nato for years because nato routinely puts offensive weapons on the borders of it’s nation state pointed at Russia.
Maybe no one is smart enough to see the economic risk to this Ms Linda Graham push of 100% sanctions against those doing business with Russia. What’s keeping the BRICS nations from just destroying the US dollar as retaliation? They likely could trigger a war on the US dollar and the entire global economy melts. Don’t think it could happen? How many nations are currently all that thrilled with the current tariffs being imposed?
Thank you for your thoughtful and informed comment.
You are living evidence that being well informed combined with age does sometimes lead to wisdom.
Thank you.
So we operated for decades with little tariffs while these nations enjoyed high tariffs, it’s no wonder they’re not thrilled.
This is classic Trump; FAFO.
Optics.
It looks real bad when you allow civilians to be bombed and also make a decision to not sell the government that rules those citizens the ability to defend itself.
It looks worse when the US provokes a war with Russia using its border state as a pawn, then keeps the killing going by continuing to pump it with US, military and Intel support.
If the aid stopped completely a white flag would pop out within a week and it would end.
https://mearsheimer.substack.com/p/who-caused-the-ukraine-war
I totally agree. I was just opining that in today’s world “optics” overrides common sense all to often.
Don’t worry, TACO will fold again.
What is “TACO” please?
Trump Always Chickens Out = TACO
Trump Always Chickens Out, so I’m told.
Lyndsey Graham is a bigger threat to my children than is Vladimir Putin.
All indications are, in more ways than one.
Outstanding, GB
Sincere thanks to you Jinxy Cat !
100%, LRM!
Sounds like you are claiming President Trump is a Chinees agent.
I think now I have heard it all.
The US is being sunk across successive administrations including *the current one*. The sinking is inevitable as too much industry was lost and education was ruined by identity class Marxism.
The China axis is rising, with a clearly stated 100 Year Plan to global domination, already holding the levers to control the US with strategic control of industrial supply chains including electronics.
Draw your own conclusions. Or not.
** Current administration: Debt, biowarfare attrition democide with modRNA shots with Replicons coming – these two alone will sink the nation, but more: Depleting military weapons, decimating DoD civilians with cuts…
That’s a pretty Dark, Dork.
I want to add that I didn’t vote for this ! The last month has been hard to take. War with Iran on behalf of Israel , Epstein fiasco , and now expanded arms to Ukraine and threatened tariff escalation with the two most populous countries on earth. Tariffs to achieve balanced trade is good policy. Tariffs in support of our proxy war is beyond stupid ! China has the industrial capacity to bury our military. If you haven’t paid attention China is very quickly achieving weapons parity and in some cases possibly surpassing us. Their industrial capacity means they can build many times the amounts of weapons and draw on a much larger population of men. China will not let Russia fail. The Russian war in Ukraine is somewhat of a proxy war against USA/NATO. As it stands now China is laundering weapons through N Korea.
Careful w/ the independent thought. You’re going to be receiving some strongly worded responses telling you you’re not MAGA or you’re a troll or you’re a whatever. Not toeing the line is blasphemy.
Trying to distinguish btw Lindsey Graham and MAGA gets more blurry by the day.
Forget about weapons parity for a moment.
Volume has a quality that is hard to argue in an all out conventional war. When you don’t have weapons or ammo, you lose.
Combine the weapons parity with
number of troops.
No artillery and munitions
No Troops
Game Over.
🤖👾🤖👾
Remember when Zelensky visited the White House
and President Trump told Zelensky to his face…You. Are.Losing.
President Trump knows the score. The only thing that has changed is that Zelensky has less ammunition, troops and territories. 👨⚖️🤷♀️
“China will not let Russia fail”
China will take as much territory from Russia as they can given half a chance. Instead of an ally Russia could end up having a two-front war.
I didn’t vote for this !
In the real world, we vote for the best leaders (if such exist). We do not vote between lollipops and sunshine vs gristle and rain.
In the current instance, a real president is navigating a difficult path. We are in a much better position than when the (let’s call it like it is) marxists/anti-white/anti-US cabal was making the decisions.
Tsar Putin thought he could lie to, stall, and bullshit The Big Guy, but The Big Guy is now fed up. Putin has 50 days to settle for the provinces he has already annexed, and walk away.
NATO is involved because all European countries are upset and nervous that Russia invaded a European country. However, with that said, it remains a European problem, not an American problem. So 47 will provide the arms Europe needs and then stand aside to let Europe, through NATO, supply Ukraine whatever Ukraine needs to repel the invader.
It all seems very clean and straightforward to me.
It all seems very clean and straightforward to you because you don’t love Putin and you don’t support what he has been doing.
[wink] Yup. I like Trump, and I support what HE has been doing.
PDJT isn’t supplying anything.
He will sell arms to NATO. not give.
Very important distinction which cannot be overstated.
And NATO/EU cannot afford the weapons.
So, where does that leave things?
People have to understand the CONTEXT.
In short, while SEEMING to give Putin an ultimatum, in point of fact PDJT is giving an ultimatum to NATO/EU (and indirectly, the CIA). That ultimatum?
”I will sell you the weapons.” (knowing, of course, they cannot afford them and don’t have the $$ to buy them)
So Trump has given things 50 days to realize that peace is the only option.
VSGDJT
You noticed that did you. 47 just stepped away from the whole Ukraine mess and handed it to Europe. At the same time, if Tsar Putin thinks he can just wait out the 50 days because Europe can’t afford our weapons, well, we haven’t discussed credit terms yet. No one said it has to be cash and carry. Europe will get the weapons. So the message to Tsar Putin is “stop dickin’ around.” He has until the day after Labor Day.
What if Putin sees them and raises?
“So, where does that leave things?”
US Congress makes a gift, disguised as a long-term loan to NATO so they can afford to buy the US weapons that will go to Ukraine?
Yes. May it be so.
You stumped me when you said Putin invade a European country. you actually think Ukraine is part of Europe? Or Crimea for that matter? Or did you mean another country?
Ukraine is a European country!
I wasn’t in Europe when I visited Ukraine. You don’t know the history of the country. it is not Europe.
Is that what Trump said in 2024? It thought he said time and time again, that this is Biden’s war? So why not end it? What is there to prove?

Your ad hominem is neither discussion, debate nor robust.
Nor the product of a foreign intelligence operatatav.
MB – lotsa giggles.
You can probably hear them from all the way down here in Oz.
“Why doesn’t he?”
Perhaps because the EU and NATO countries have expressed to him their dismay at the prospect of Russia absorbing ALL of Ukraine, and doing it via a military invasion.
This is not what I voted for.
This is PRECISELY what I voted for, six times. 47 is doing an absolutely excellent job managing THREE platefulls of domestic and foreign policy issues simultaneously.
This is not what any of us voted for, but if you have been here at CTH long enough, you would not make this statement!
I have been around here for awhile Ornus..and probably on this planet for a lot longer than you. I am free to express an opinion here.
I really don’t want to put undo pressure on Sundance on this 50 days threat … or else …. Trump position.
I could share, but Sundance probably can share his thoughts and feelings about this matter, better than me.
All I can say is … I don’t like what Trump has done since july 5th, and Trump seems to digging a deeper and deeper hole that could hurt the goodwill and support to MAGA. First time I have seen this happen in 10 years. What did Trump have to comprise to have the RATS deliver the BBB. I’ll await Sundance’s view, which I respect.
It’s not pretty watching the sausage get made. If you’re gonna puke, look away.
Good grief, so many detractors posting today.
some of us are asking for Sundance’s View on these developments. I know I am. It seems complicated to me, so I am trying to refrain in posting my position , as best I can, but it is hard for me.
He made it pretty clear in his article.
Anything having to do with Putin brings out the Putinistas.
We’re not Putinistas. Unlike you We’re not trapped in a 20th Century Cold War mindset. What do we gain by antagonizing Russia? What is it about Russia that brings about so much vitriol in the West? I see nothing good coming from this, this isnt just a few decades of riding high after victory in WW2. We are no longer the “Arsenal of Democracy”, we no longer have the manufacturing capability. We’re no longer the “good guys” with our insane foreign policy adventures over the decades, we come off as drunk bullies swinging a club at anyone who dares look at us sideways. What do we gain?
Yes, detractors of President Trump.
As someone who reads [almost] all the comments, I can tell which topics are meant to divide MAGA, shape opinion or are the most important to the Swamp/Deep State/CIA by how many concern trolls show up and the phrases they repeat.
Today’s narrative mind worm: It’s Trump’s war now.
Also: I didn’t vote for this.
Well, since you’re on a roll, let’s add a third one:
Trump is reneging on some of his campaign promises.
How about so many ostriches posting today. You know, heads in the sand, a/k/a don’t want to hear all the facts.
So much pretending, so little time..
Where are the Stasi Twins, outhouse credibility and 4th amendmentrestored?
I am thankful so many Treehousers(?) have self identified as “Narrative Engineers”..
I can bypass their waste of bandwidth while searching for honest commentary and analysis, even that which I do mot readily agree with.
“The Truth Has No Agenda”
Today and every day.
Sundance is over the target. Always.
So what happens when Russia stops at the end of 50 days and little Zman doesn’t? Does anyone thing Putin will put up with an attack on Russia and not retaliate?
President Trump needed to end this war weeks ago by not sending money and not sending military supplies. Let Russia take what they want and be done with it. As he says every chance he gets, this isn’t his war. Meaning Biden started it. Unfortunately it currently is his war and Lindsey is going make him eat it…
I wonder where the 50 day number comes from. Did Putin say he needs about 50 more days? Does it take 50 days to move weapons? Seems very specific.
i know no one here wants to hear it… but unfortunately this is ABSOLUTELY Trump’s war, now.
and further, the offramps available to keep it from consuming his presidency and the rest of his political capital to get more things done, are disappearing really fast.
Not so fast. President Trump is almost totally removing us from this war as he is no longer directly selling or sending weapons to Ukraine. He is selling them to NATO via Germany and it is up to them to provided them to Ukraine, or not.
The only thing we are doing is applying secondary sanctions.. He made it clear today, this is Biden’s war. He is trying to bring a peaceful resolution to a problem that was not of his making.
President Trump is not going to leave a whole nation of fellow human beings, men, women and children, to the “tender mercies” of a kill crazed maniac. He is a Christian, not a Muslim.
Then he needs to get rid of the maniac zelinski
🙄
Were you concerned about ethnic Russians being murdered since 2014 by Ukraine, or just the “human beings ” you were told to care about?
At some point you have to accept the reality of facts on the ground, then you have to deal with the facts, not the fantasy.
You can’t always get what you want….
speaking of midterms and ability to continue to advance a MAGA agenda, there was a guy on Bannon this AM that made a similar point i had not pondered….
basically he said, even if Trump radically changed directions and funded everything, went full bore; and Ukraine achieved this great miracle victory… what would it GAIN Trump politically? nothing. but if these fantasies don’t come true and the thing keeps blowing up and is a quagmire, which is far more likely, what does it LOSE him politically?
are we ready to have what little of the MAGA agenda we could continue to get, flushed down the toilet because we can’t bring ourselves to disengage from the Ukraine project?
Good points. If you decide to do plan A, often that means you are not planning to do plan B. Good to consider both what one plans and what one doesn’t plan.
While it is stated that sales will go to NATO and not directly to Ukraine, how is that different considering we are a member? How much of the sales are we absorbing? Any chance we could deduct any shares from the CIA considering they tend to want the war to continue? Personally, disappointment abounds as I truly thought we’d get out of it all except for humanitarian and protection. If we’re selling defensive weapons to NATO, we’re supplying.
I’m confused. Didn’t Trump recently stop arms to Ukraine for a few weeks because our military stockpile was dwindling to levels that threatened the security of the US. Makes no sense to sell weapons to NATO that furher depletes are arms inventory to NATO who has no money to buy US arms to begin with.
You’re not confused, you’re correct.
I didn’t know that we send $3 Billion a year to Israel for weapons that they are required to spend 75% of which with our Armorers. I guess they have to set the munitions off somehow, otherwise they’d start running out of real estate..
Sounds like constant combat in the ME is another gift that keeps on giving for Flimsy Grams. Ol’ Sugarbritches is having a great month..
I wonder if the Eurotrash want to hornswoggle the frozen Russian assets to pay for the new weapons for non NATO Ukraine?
Just walk away from Ukraine and let Russia and Europe argue about it themselves. Trump’s ego is such that he feels the need to interject as some great peacemaker. Just walk away.
Wait… We support war with Russia now and arming Ukraine?
For those with no idea what a strategy is and only sees certain words then yes, we support war with Russia and arming Ukraine.
And there are some of us who know when we’re being gaslighted.
Because he doesn’t want to be blamed for the destruction and death that would likely follow and the media would be all to eager to pin on him.
The cost of the war in Ukraine to all sides has to be in excess of a trillion dollars. Over 2 million soldiers and civilians are dead. Eight million refugees. We lost 50 thousand in Vietnam. Let that sink in. We lost fewer than 500 thousand in WW2. This is a very bad war, and our senators and congressmen and NATO allies want to escalate it.
Does anyone ever remember why?
There were speeches by Zelenskyy to a joint session of Congress in 2022, yellow and blue flags on every politician’s lapel, yellow and blue flags in our schools and neighborhoods; not any more. I don’t know if that happened in Europe, but the years have gone by…
Well… It’s on Europe for the next 50 days, cash on Delivery.
And there was this flag:

51 days and then what. Russia is in a position to “say when.”
Trump is putting himself in a terrible position.
So Weird, Rand published a study on how to weaken Russia. One of the options was to conduct a proxy war using Ukraine.
Stage a US/NATO coup, install a western puppet, provoke Russia. weaken/destroy Russia. Opps, economic sanctions didn’t work and using weapons developed primarily during the Reagan era isn’t working either.
Ukraine is just a tool to be destroyed in the process. Trump just happens to be President, and he is a tool of the MIC.
Victoria Noland and MS. Lindsey Graham are smiling the plan continues.
Sadly, for the master minds, China (who we helped make a manufacturing giant) and Russia (who is a gas station pretending to be country per John McCain) have been pushed together.
It looks like a global realignment, and it will not be to the benefit of the US.
Unfortunately, hubris doesn’t win conflicts.

Russia and China are formidable allies. The west made that happen.
China is the world’s, by far, industrial colossus and Russia has plenty of resources to feed it. And they are right next to each other.
I understand the source book and the plan BUT how the hell are you dirting trump up with it? No ability to see the gestalt i guess.
Zelenskii’s expiration date just got stamped Aug 26, 2025. In 50 days Europe will be too broke to fight a war. Zelenskii will have to call elections or be seen as the impediment. While Europe is on their knees, the US exits NATO because of “delinquencies”. What is Europe going to do? Denude their countries of military age males so the knife-wielding gangs can truly take over?
I suspect the Epstein deal is part of the bargain. Just to sweeten the deal for the Deepers.
Europe isn’t paying for this…..you and I are
psst… the MIC is ” selling the OUTDATED Systems “…

DO NOT GIVE The COMPETITION ALL YOUR TRADE SECRETS !
By design? Kinda funny. Suck it nazis.
I honestly have no idea what gives the US government the legal or moral authority to do of this.
The fact is WE started this war when we staged a coup in Ukraine in 2014. We are also responsible for keeping it going all these years. It Trump wants peace all he has to do is cut off the endless gusher of money and weapons we keep pumping into the war to keep it going.
Sad to say, but it looks like he has caved in to the Deep State. His recent endorsement of Graham for reelection points in the same direction.
Absolutely clear at this point. However trusting the plan helps people cope at this point. It feels nice.
Hey, I’ve seen that movie before! Sometime between 2016-2020, “Trust the Plan” was the name if I recall correctly. It was such a great movie. /s
no matter who you vote for, you get john mccain.
50 DAYS
SUMY, KHARKIV and ODESSA = MISSION ACCOMPLISHED for RUSSIA
ISOLATE UKRAINE from the BLACK SEA and MAKE Her TOTALLY RELIANT on Either the EU or Thru RUSSIA
I had that impression, too. I’ve watched the whole video from the beginning to the very end. Rutte was constantly, rudely, butting in with comments intended to shape the narrative and, the most importantly, flatter the POTUS.
Putin has been thumbing his nose at Trump while escalating attacks on Ukraine. His nasty little dig at Trump personally by pretending to leave a stage appearance for a phone call from Trump so as not to make him mad, I’m sure didn’t go un-noticed. I’ll bet Trump wishes he had more ways available to get even with him.
Putin still feels entitled but that train has left the station as far as Trump is concerned because this could all have been ended amicably by now if Putin has wanted to.
you and i live in different worlds, but i would sayt he last few words of your post are spot on:
putin does not want it to end on anyone’s terms other than his and those most beneficial to the people of russia. whether Trump feels slighted is deeply irrelevant.
i would expect nothing less of my own leader.
And the US has been in a proxy war, more than that, and attacking Russian territory and assets…?
No more wars was a central promise in the election. The Ukraine war is now Trump’s war.
We do not want to pay the pensions of Ukraine.
The government there persecutes Orthodox Christians while Russia builds churches. That is just one reason why Natzo should not be supported.
so in fifty day WW3 blows up maybe. Preppers get ready.
Or will it be y2k again?
So, the potential for WWIII. Great!
totally unrelated, but… does “barking spider” refer to the same euphemism my dad used to cite, frequently after… ahem… eating beans?
I like it. If they refuse to acknoweldge PDJT’s brilliance, he will baffle them with deflection.
On another note, I’m glad to hear Matt Whittaker’s name mentioned in this meeting.
I’ve been wondering what ever became of him.
ok, … I did just meditate and what I was feeling was elementry school feelings I felt back then, and how powerless I was as a child. Adults were telling me what to do, to be quiet, and sit in your little chair, and listen to what my teachers are telling me, because it will be on the TEST.
I was very angry as a child in school, and I had to learn to have poker face, or get the wrath of my teachers.
And I learned to put my mind on other things so I didn’t need to feel these terrible feelings I had, and not vent it in the classroom
So, when I watch political leaders …who are in charge of us, I realize I again have NO POWER, and I hope a WISE person is in charge to take care of us kids. Hardly ever happened in school in elementry school. There were RULES and behave.
So when Trump did things since July 5th, it didn’t seem how Trump usually does stuff, … “why are you bringing up Epstein, … stop it, don’t bring it up, your teacher Pam Bondi is doing a great job, so sit down and behave.
And now today, Trump is giving a Strong leader a COMMAND … “stop it” or else I will come down on you so hard, … like I just did to IRAN!
Sounded like an Angry father to me, and Trump is usually nice to us.
So childish feelings of powerless, in elementry school. And I see some “teacher pets” in room, and some rebels too, all of us have NO Power, but … we think if we voice our concern, it will have a GOOD effect.
Learning to take these feelings to GOD, and sitting in Silence … to understand … these are the feelings I had, as a 7 year old, and I didn’t know about GOD back then, and thought I had to solve it with my 7 year old brain. I don’t today. I went inside, and asked GOD for INSIGHT!
i didn’t quite follow all that, but this part made me think of a story (that will also out my age, probably a little younger than the average here):
So when Trump did things since July 5th, it didn’t seem how Trump usually does stuff, … “why are you bringing up Epstein, … stop it, don’t bring it up, your teacher Pam Bondi is doing a great job, so sit down and behave.–
when i was maybe 14, we had a neighbor with young kids and i would babysit occasionally. one night they would be out late, i put them to bed, and went to watch TV. they had cable, and HBO, which was very rare then. my fam wouldn’t have it for another 10 years.
i turned it on and the movie ALIENS was just starting. my parents expressly forbade me to watch it, citing some probably obvious reasons.
but i watched it all, and was mesmerized. it was the most amazing, coolest, awesomest what have you, that this hormonal teenager had ever seen.
and unfortunately for my parents, with the best of intentions, it had a profound effect on me… from then on, any time they told me to sit down and shut up, or that they knew better, or that it was for my own good and there were things i shouldn’t know… all i could think about from then on, was WHAT ARE THEY HIDING FROM ME???
In retrospect, Terminator was actually a documentary.
You are able to freely vent your frustrations here. You’re in a lot of company who do the same. Not me though. /SARC. :-))
Thank you for the reminder. Seems like a whole lot of us should be turning inward more, for guidance, and maybe posting less. Except for mb’s response, which made me laugh out loud:)
For those who would try to embarrass me,
I’ll have you know that I was the one always picked
to hold the flashlight for my dad.
And yes, I am paranoid, just like everybody else.
It seems the strategic choke point here is the Indian pass through of Russian energy to Europe. Panda just gets another slap upside the head in the trade war, which they will dumbly resist as usual.
50 days from today will be September 1, 2025.
Now we see what happens.

Russia simply won’t stop until Ukraine is de-Nazified and de-militarized. There is nothing Trump can do to stop those goals from being achieved.
NATO members at the “Storm” celebration: They are preparing a surprise
https://www.b92.net/english/politics/146156/nato-members-at-the-storm-celebration-they-are-preparing-a-surprise/vest
“Croatia traditionally celebrates the criminal military-police operation Storm, which lasted from August 4 to 7, 1995, when around 250,000 Serbs were expelled from Croatia, while 2,000 of them were killed or are still missing today.”
That’s some Nazi Nato “Defensive Alliance”. Completing what the Nazi’s tried to do to the Serbs & their Jewish allies in WWII. Croatia was where the Holocaust camps were located that murdered thousands of Serbs,Jews, & Roma. They like to hide this fact for a number of reasons.
What Role Did NATO Play In Operation Storm? –
I’m sure VSG has formed shell corporations in the real estate realm. In this case he is putting the
US’s Ukrainian investment vehicle under the Nato shell, which is run by the US with junior investment partner Europe.
The US is the primary shareholder of the entire conglomeration in any case. A left pocket vs right pocket arrangement.
Putin has said what they objectives are in this operation (on day one) and that they will be met. For some reason, our leaders and euros feel that they have something to prove. They haven’t put enough Ukrainians through the meat grinder.
Oh well. Over 1 million Ukrainians dead and counting…
Exactly! The United States always pays for the weapons!
Hakeem Boule Jeffries is saying that the Ukraine Nazis are American allies and Orthodox Christian Russia are enemies of America.
I figured out a long time ago that Nato Nazis are the real enemies not the Orthodox Christian Serbs or Russian peoples.
Wow judging by the part time posters coming out of the woodwork the deep state and Democrats are hating this position
So sad to bad
Trump just said I’ll huff, and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house down? USA/CIA/NATO started the war using Ukraine .USA has spent 350 billion on military equip, salaries, pensions, and villas in Switzerland for well connected Ukrainians. Also spent 1.5 million Ukraine dead and 100+K Russian dead.NATO screwed over Russia on Minsk I. Minsk II,blowing up Nord Stream, seizing 300 billion Russia had on deposit in the west etc, etc.I’m not as smart as anybody playing these games but I dont think Russia is intimidated,Ukraine has lost. There are dozens of videos online showing the Ukraine kidnap gangs dragging screaming men off the street to be sent to war. Teenagers are now being trained,Half the population of Ukraine has fled.If I was Russia I would push the border to within 2-300 kilometers from the Polish border.,Just to be sure.Unconditional surrender. There is no substitute for victory if you want peace for the next 100 years.
Our stockpiles are already low, as are EU stockpiles.
What new offensive weapons will we send?
Putin has “escalatory dominance” with his hypersonic, unblockable midrange weapon – which can reach all of Europe.
Inching closer to direct confrontation.
Can Putin take Odessa in 50 days?
Would be nice if he could!
Odessa!
👏👏
A lot of fighting in Zaporizhzhia right now and on the scale of things..just a hop skip and jump away towards Odessa! 👏
Guns secret set to haunt US
War crimes hunt turns heat on Croatia’s ally
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2001/jul/08/warcrimes.balkans1
“The indictments of the generals – for the massacres of hundreds of Serb civilians between 1993 and 1995 – is also threatening to lift the lid on one of the murkiest episodes of the Balkan wars: the secret arming of the Croats by the United States.
Ademi is likely to be charged with responsibility for the killings of dozens of Serbs during a 1993 offensive in central Croatia against the Serb rebels.
While the crimes allegedly committed by Ademi predate the period of US military assistance, those allegedly committed by Gotovina fall squarely into it. They came during a time of stunning military successes for the Croats on the battlefields of the Serb occupied Krajina and eastern Slavonia, in which US personnel were heavily implicated. The history of US assistance to the nationalist regime of former President Franjo Tudjman dated back to March 1994 when the Croatian Defence Minister, Joko Susak, approached the Pentagon to ask for help with military training.”
