Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney welcomes President Donald Trump at the beginning of the working sessions for the G7 assembly in Canada.
During the press availability President Trump notes the G7 used to be the G8, however following the Crimea referendum and President Putin’s response to accept the outcome of the vote, the NATO alliance led by President Barack Obama took Russia out of the group. President Trump says he “agreed” with Putin’s reaction to the decision.
The G7 speak about Russia consistently at almost every meeting, without a willingness to listen to the voice or opinion of Russia in context to their protestations. Quite simply it is easier for Italy, Canada, the U.K, France, Germany, Japan and the USA to exist inside an echo-chamber without having their multilateral arguments challenged. President Trump does not fear the debate of ideas with Russia present in the room, another point of distinction between Trump and the assembly.
Wrong is wrong even if everybody does it; and right is right even if nobody does it. It takes strong confidence to assert a position counter to popular opinion, this is what makes President Donald Trump a transformative political influence.
In the background, President Vladimir Putin is undoubtedly paying attention.
Also, read carefully what President of the European Council António Costa said today:
CANADA – […] European Commission boss Ursula von der Leyen and President of the European Council António Costa on Sunday both urged Trump to stop hurting the global economy with tariffs.
“Let’s keep trade between us fair, predictable and open. All of us need to avoid protectionist measures — this is an important message that the G7 can send to the markets and to the world,” von der Leyen told reporters, speaking alongside Costa at the first press conference of the G7 leaders’ meeting in Canada.
Calling for “a frank discussion among the G7 partners, restoring a sense of stability and predictability among ourselves,” von der Leyen stressed Brussels was still negotiating a trade truce with Washington.
Costa said the EU can’t increase defense spending, as Trump wants it to, if it has to fight a trade war at the same time.” (link)
A parasitic statement if there ever was one.
Put another way, the EU threatens that President Trump will not be able to lessen USA military spending from NATO, if he simultaneously demands reciprocal trade rules from NATO countries.
Insufferable is an understatement.

From its inception the EU has been a socialist experiment. Socialism is predicated upon taking from one group of people and giving to another group of people. The EU therefore takes from the US and gives to the Europeans, using trade surpluses and the NATO umbrella. Trump sees it, the Europeans don’t want to see it, hence their parasitic mindset.
From its it’s inception the EU has been a socialist disaster….
Economics
Military
Borders
Free speech
“Socialism is predicated upon taking from one group of people and giving to another group of people.”
That group of more equal pigs are sure to keep the lions share while handing the crumbs to their supporters to keep their supporters on their side. Socialism by another name is THEFT.
That’s why Democracy is such a perfect fit. Democracy: Two Wolves and a Lamb voting on what to have for dinner.
Thus the endless mantra of “Our Democracy.” Some have suggested “Democracy” should be replaced with “Bureaucracy” to tell the true story.
“Trumps a danger to Our Bureaucracy.”
True that.
“the Europeans don’t want to see it, hence their parasitic mindset.”
Please qualify your statement. Are you referring to the European people, or those than run the EU.
The People of Europe may be in a “parasitic mindset framework” as this is what had been established around them through no fault of their own accept promises made of fairness.
The US is finally coming out of that parasitic mindset after, when was it they sold out to the “Central Bank, First Charter”. AS the CB is by nature parasitic, the root of Communism.
So please do not see yourself as “better than the others”. You in the same do do as us all and we all digging ourselves out of it, be that black, white, yellow, or red, all blood runs the same, 🙂
Carney is a suck up and was probably depants during co-ed volleyball in jr-high. He’s worse than Trudeau…true?
Well his one useful attribute is that he seems to be somewhat susceptible to pressure from an alpha male.
We’ll see what happens!
Epstein Island Carney is a despicable human being. He is mostly a front for a small group of deranged people but is a skilled media manipulator himself. Canada, beneath the surface, is bereft of assets and candor. The people themselves are rudderless zombies.
I think President Trump gave a subtle warning to the G7 countries and the EU in particular by saying that Iran had a 60 day deadline to make a deal and didn’t, so they FAFO on day 61.
President Trump gave all countries a 90 day deadline to make tariff/ trade barrier deals. That deadline is up on July 8, so I expect to see the higher tariffs resumed on July 9 for these recalcitrant countries.
I really like your analogy between the 60-days-for-Iran and the 90-days-for-deals, and the invitation to the EU to ponder their 91st day in the context of Iran’s 61st day.
Overall, I think it was a waste of his very limited time to have gone there in the first damned place.
Is von der Leyen asking President Trump to accept the European Union in as our 51st State?
Sorry Canada, you had your chance. 🤣
Dear God in Heaven but we DO NOT WANT the EU as any kind of state!
🤣 😂 😂
Canada and specifically Carney are not friends of the USA – haven’t been since Harper – everything important to Carney from the Weather to gender dysphoria comes at a great cost to real, patriotic Canadians.
Carney, like his ideology, doesn’t look well – including the fact he cannot stand straight – likely due to his own insanity and that of his family.
Canada, like Europe, has been friendly from time to time, but their governments have never been our friend. As for Carney not being able to stand straight, knowing that crowd for what they really are, his back door might be ready for a major remodel.
AFAIAC, the only meaningful thing to come out of G7 is, thankfully, President Trumps refusal to sign their statement calling for deescalation and negotiations between Israel & Iran.
NEVER AGAIN
Not our problem. Better find the money
The optics of this (short) presser were quite interesting.
Carney moved to shorten the discussion as it was obvious that the only person of interest is Pres. Trump.
Tough for the globalists to recognize they are not of interest.
Plus the fact that Carney himself looked like a crippled stooge. Worse than dementia-riddled Biden in many respects.
In essence they’re saying “cut it out & pay our dam freight you meanie!! And don’t forget to smile while you’re doing it.”
How miserable everyone in this picture is probably tells us all we need to know.
we should also exit the g7 and make a new g2 with the U.S. and Russia.you mess with either one and the sky will rain down with bombs missiles and rockets and black out the sun.
F these Crap Weasels. We need to be OUT of NATO!!
Let them defend themselves. End of story. End of NATO, an relic of the Cold War that should have faded out of existence in 1990.
It’s past time to leave NATO.
Tell that to the war mongers in the Senate.
That’s exactly is going on. We have paid Europe for so long they don’t know how to live without our money and protection. Like a teenager that doesn’t want to work but still live at home.
The only way I can stomach Carney is as a part of a Chili Con Carney.
Parasites get pulled from the hides of their hosts and flicked away. It’s time.
Just stop for a moment and imagine trying to anticipate negotiations with Trump
I equate it with pondering the relationship between chickens and their eggs
Thoughts?
CRAP WEASELS INDEED, WE DON’T NEED NATO
