Senators Richard Blumenthal (U-DC) and Lindsey Graham (U-DC) have scheduled a delegation of Ukraine officials to come to the Senate tomorrow and help organize the pro-Ukraine narrative. The Senate is debating the anti-Russia sanctions package and key players are coordinating retention of the Ukraine payment system.
According to Politico all 100 senators have been invited to the lobbying/narrative engineering meeting, and almost all of them are likely to attend. From obvious indications, including Blumenthal and Graham supporting the recent Ukraine attacks against strategic Russian airbases, it would appear the Senate is prepared to dispatch President Trump’s efforts to organize a ceasefire.
As with all things Washington DC, to find the motive follow the money.
WASHINGTON DC – A Ukrainian delegation is set to brief U.S. senators Wednesday as lawmakers weigh a sweeping sanctions bill targeting Russia and its biggest energy customers, China and India.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) said in an interview that he organized the meeting with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), and noted all 100 senators were invited to attend the closed-door session.
“It’s a pivotal moment in Ukraine — and crunch time for the Senate on this bill,” said Blumenthal, noting that the legislation now has 82 co-sponsors, evenly divided between Democrats and Republicans.
The visiting delegation, he said, includes Andriy Yermak, a top adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Ukraine’s deputy defense minister, Serhii Boyev, is traveling with Yermack.
The sanctions package from Blumenthal and Graham is designed to increase pressure on Russia’s wartime economy by targeting countries that buy oil and gas — a move Blumenthal said could be a “game changer.”
He also pointed to recent long-range drone attacks deep inside Russia — dubbed “Operation Spiderweb” — as evidence of Ukraine’s agility and resolve. Those strikes, he said, counter “a false narrative that Ukraine is losing the war” and could shift momentum in Washington in favor of increasing aid for Ukraine. (read more)

This Senate meeting with Ukraine officials comes one day before German Chancellor Friedrich Merz visits the White House to tell President Trump what the EU intends to do to support Ukraine.
And all those who want war with Russia either cannot fight in the ground due to status or are old, crippled, or women.
Or in the case of Lindsay Graham, all of the above.

Outside of Tom Homan and (possibly) Hegseth, I don’t see anyone in President Trump’s circle who would be willing to get their hands dirty enough to break the CIA. John Ratcliff comes across as much too nice to do the necessary.

It all started with ‘Operation Warp Speed’ by the way. They used a flu to get him sign off on national emergency, which they immediately took advantage of to cheat on massive scale and install the man who was once Joe Biden.
Trump is a guy who has a great short-term intuition but no patience and no detailed understanding of things.
I voted for him three times and contributed to his reelection. This guy is a total fraud. Everything he does is performative and won’t last.
This sanctions bill is cosponsored by most of the Senate, over 80%, including my two red state rinos. Effectively, this legislation puts President Trump in a box.
If he doesn’t support it, he will be at odds with the majority in government. He will be ‘Putin’s Puppet’. Maybe calls for his impeachment. The propaganda machine will be spinning around the clock.
If he supports it, we will be shoveling funds toward Ukraine for perpetuity. Because Russia sees Ukraine as an existential threat, they have no reason to quit. Russia’s demands are reasonable. This legislation insures that the war will not end. Again the propaganda will be non stop, It will become ‘Trumps War’. He will also end any ideas of restoring normal economic relations with Russia if he supports it.
I hope this legislation dies in the House, but I doubt it.

It now certainly appears that the Legislative Branch with the assistance of of the Judicial Branch is committing a coup against the Executive Branch due to their blatant very visible intents and actions to usurp the Constitutional powers specially delegated to the Executive Branch. They (Legislative and Judicial Branches) are openly countermanding and negating the will of We The People as expressed in 2024. Their behavior and attitude steps over the line and can best be described as seditious and treasonous.
