Six months ago, I was asked my opinion of the Silicon Valley alignment with MAGA. I said at the time I thought it would last around 18 months and finally climax with a large fracture in the political movement around 2026. I had no idea at the time, the group of technocrats would begin publicly advocating for replacing American workers before Trump took office.
For the past several days I have watched Vivek Ramaswamy, David Sacks, Elon Musk and his big tech influencers debating with their followers about the importance for them to continue expanding H-1b visas for foreign tech workers. It is stunning to see this crew double, triple and quadruple down on advocacy, while defining American workers as inadequate for their Silicon Valley needs.
Alas, it is what it is. Within the argument Musk, Ramaswamy, Sacks and group have presented multiple justifications for their foreign worker assistance programs, while advocating for expanded immigration support therein.
Within the tone of their argument, they essentially say the American worker is (1) not intellectual enough; (2) doesn’t have the right work ethic; and the latest point of justification is that (3) American culture is to blame for their need to import foreign workers.
As Vivek Ramaswamy recently said, “Our American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence for way too long (at least since the 90s and likely longer). That doesn’t start in college, it starts YOUNG.” Thus, as the narrative is sold, American workers need to be replaced with more culturally appropriate Indian tech workers.
When the Indian-American starts saying Indian culture is more adequate at creating workers for the American tech industry, he loses me completely.
If the Indian culture is the holy grail breeding ground for software engineers, then why isn’t New Delhi replacing Silicon Valley?
Considering that factually the Indian culture is entirely based on a caste system, the argument is even more absurd.
What we need are training and recruitment centers for American students. However, the larger issue within the billionaire tech team advocacy is an issue of self-interest.
What we see in the justifications and arguments of the Ramaswamy, Musk and Sacks group is a very specific point of immigration policy for their subset within a singular sector of the American economy. Perhaps this would not be such a big issue, if these points of advocacy were coming from outside government interest groups. However, with this tech team going into the administration, the influence becomes something a little bigger.
The part the Tech Group do not understand is the core of the American DNA, “Liberty“…
It is only from the position of liberty, intellectualism actualized in freedom form, that the working culture of America, the ingenuity part, can be understood.
If you attempt to quantify Americanism with math and algorithms, the translated outcome always fails.
Dear Vivek Ramaswamy, my counter take…
Several years ago, Florida Power and Light won the prestigious international Edward Demming Award for excellence in multi-platform engineering, efficiency superiority and total quality in the process of energy management.
However, the scruffy rednecks did not blow every PhD intellectual out of the water with slide rules, CAD programs, articulated and quantified quality improvement processes and engineering acumen. They did it with hard hats and dirty fingernails.
Because they lost the award, the jaw-agape Japanese spent 6 months visiting and reviewing FPL and later published a 1,000-page study essentially saying FPL “wasn’t really good, they were just lucky.”
You see, the reviewers couldn’t actually quantify the reason why the Florida-based energy company was so successful. In response the FPL field leadership laughed, took out magic markers and wrote on the back of their hard hats: “WE’RE NOT GOOD, WE’RE RUCKY.”
A few years later, every single Kuwaiti oil field was blown up by Saddam Hussein. Global analysts and think-tanks proclaimed it would take 5 years to cap them all off and restart the Kuwait oil pumping industry. Well, the Kuwaiti’s and Saudi’s called Texans, who had them all capped and back in working order in 6 months.
We are a nation that knows how to get shit done.
A few more years pass, and the Northern Chile mine workers were trapped two miles underground. The eyes of the world began to tear as the word spread. Most began to whisper no one could save them. Who did they call for help? A bunch of hick miners from USA coal country who went down there, worked on the fly, engineered the rescue equipment on site, and saved every one of them.
Yup, that’s our America. Ingenuity born from freedom.
Across the pond a half-breed Islamic whack job, armed with an AK-47 and a goal to meet his virgins, began opening fire on a train in France. The scruffneck Americans on board didn’t run to the nearest safe room and hide themselves amid baguettes and brie. They said, “let’s go”, and beat the stuffing out of that little nut with a death wish.
Legion d’Honneur or not, that’s us. WE ARE AMERICANS! That’s just how we roll.
In fact, Lady Liberty can stroll along the Champs-Elysées with a swagger befitting Mae West because without her arrival, they’d be speaking German in the Louvre. Yet, for the better part of the past decade, a group of intellectual leftists have been teaching our children that it’s better to be sitting around a campfire eating sustainable algae cakes and picking parasites off each other; because ‘save the planet’, or something similarly minded. It would appear, they hate the outcomes and inequities from freedom.
Warmest regards,
Americans First!
My BEST advice to @elonmusk @VivekGRamaswamy @DavidSacks and the Silicon Valley tech elites, is to keep talking. Just keep telling Americans how terrible they are and how they need to be replaced. Great Job.

Yeah, that’s weird.
Vivek couldn’t keep his mouth shut.
PDJT has been elected now, and can’t run again, so presumably he can shuck these losers, even easier than he aquired them.
Hubris, arrogance and thinking they own the world,….
You are so wrong about this and apparently have no idea how bad our public schools have become along with how far our culture has fallen.

Enlightening article.
Rather long but worth plodding thru, wondering if this is true or an attempt to stir a pot… but …I especially am concerned with the paragraph about the plumber…and the rest…
And “indoctrinated to be submissive”? I haven’t met one yet in my line of work…read that paragraph a few times for it to sink in…
And “equality is impossible you are either “abuser or abused”
Not everyone deserves a seat at the table…
Human rights is a concept incomprehensible to most Indians…
Institutions left behind by the British have been hollowed out…by sadists..
Today, India is more entrenched in magical thinking and superstition…

Interesting…very interesting.
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/india-its-worse-you-think
eye-opening article, thanks
“The foundational principle to understanding India is that it is an amoral, irrational society devoid of values. Any values you try to instill will slip off, like water off a duck’s back.”
Very true…my daughter works for a major company … you’d know the name … very WOKE. What she has to work with and fight off, is what’s in this article. She works in IT. They are truly dog eat dog people. They are NOT very bright and promise you the world and never deliver. They are protected under DEI. She is fortunate that she is very bright and who hired her does look out for her. The politics there are fierce and she had to get up to speed quickly on that too.
We have never been impressed with people from that country.
This reminds me of a story I heard many years ago. May have been Lee Iacocca, told the story about a Japanese contingent of building engineers who arrived at the plant he supervised many decades ago. They were going to build the same plant over in Japan and wanted a tour of the assembly lines and general lay-out of the building. It was an old building that had sound foundations but required some modifications in order to accommodate the assembly line. One such modification was to build the line around a very large support beam in the old factory. It would be too costly to remove the beam so adjustments were made to go around it. The Japanese engineers went back to Japan and built the new factory assembly line to exactly match the US design, including the curve around the large support beam! So, either the language barrier prevented them from understanding the rationale behind the curve, or they were too afraid to deviate from the original design and speak up and question it. You could argue that the curve doesnt affect the outcome, but that begs the question: do we want a nation of timid engineers, afraid to point out the obvious? Or those annoying, troublesome, free-to -speak- up American engineers?
I remember an occasion where a newly installed DEI engineering VP decided that we could save tons of money by outsourcing our engineering work to India. She even brought in the CEO of the India engineering firm to interview on a global internal broadcast. The india CEO was so proud of the fact that his company was selected from all the possible global options by one of the largest chemical company’s in the world since they were cheaper and worked harder than any of their American engineering counterparts. What hubris. While they were in fact cheaper on paper, when it came to performance the work output resulted in 3X rework upon review since book smarts does not result in an understanding that manual shutoff valves can not be located 20 feet off the ground in a pipe rack that is only accessible by crane. Although the VP did not last ast long as the 10 year contract she negotiated, the lesson learned that book smarts and low cost does not always end up being most efficient and can be quite expensive.
Unfortunately, big business seems to have to re-learn these lessons every decade.
Along with freedom, education is the key to becoming and remaining great. I am hopeful that President Trump will pursue the creation of a parallel education system accessible to all that includes real world apprenticeships. Most folks learn best by doing rather than by sitting and watching.
When I was an apprentice pipefitter I was told more than once by my journeyman that “you learn by doing and I already know how” lol!
Nothing of value can be taught or learned in a classroom.
A genius with no/minimal education, is still and will always be a genius, any education they recieve only building on their innate intelligence.
On the other hand, an Idiot with a Masters Degree, and I have known several, is STILL an idiot; an over educated IDIOT.
Yup!
They are NOT competent people but TALK a good game but DO NOT DELIVER.
Parrots or people.
Thank you Elle Dean for awakening my mind of me sitting in school (wooden two seater bench with open ink well for nibbed pens and a swing up/down wooden seat. Our handsome, youngish 5th class teacher, Mr McDade, didn’t like the Japanese at all (had he been in the war?). He saw them produce cups exactly the same as the one they were copying – the damaged cup.
I know what my answer is! Get the foreigners out !!!! Why have a country if you are just going to let the rest of the world come in and take over?
Neither the Manhattan Project nor Apollo could have been accomplished by Americans alone.
American is also a melting pot of innovation; unfortunately, the American Educational Industrial Complex hasn’t the expertise to produce the quality work-force for dominance in the Twenty-First century,
I am not over joyed at the idea of a JAPANESE investment company spending billions to share in our technological advancements. I;d rather the investment money come from a U.C> company or legal U.S. citizens.
I also don’t want U.S. Steel to be owned by JAPAN. For me, that is a national security issue.
Well, with the Boeing issues…
We have that generation of engineers too afraid to speak up…?
A very informative article.
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/india-its-worse-you-think
They have a point but it’s a little bit over done. It’s easy to see where they are coming from since they are businessmen who have global interests and see the development of businesses in the tech, engineering and science fields through that outlook. America first is not computing in their mind with leading the way in those important and worldwide competitive industries due to the lack of properly educated people here at home.
. They are correct in the fact many American students are not being given the best education, starting from kindergarten, to develop their intelligence and attitude towards being top tier in their work ethics and knowledge in the demanding stem fields. However, that does not equal importing foreign workers in great numbers and replacing Americans or preventing qualified Americans from getting those jobs.
Best these guys take a bit of a step back on this or all the positive vibes from the American people that have been shown to them while they helped PTrump get elected will be gone very quickly. I see their reasoning and it might be true in many ways, but that does not mean wholesale pushing American workers out. Start by helping get the education system working properly and prepare the way for a surge in American employees down the road. For now, use only as many foreign workers as needed to continue development of the businesses that need them. Limit how and when they can work and for how long. Do not replace qualified American workers anywhere to cut costs as has been going on for a while. There is a shortage that cannot be denied from many reports in the business world news sites. There must be ways to handle it without just importing workers.
Yes absolutely, fortunately that is a problem that can be fixed rapidly (especially with a young person’s ability to soak up technical knowledge).
Give them shock treatment, Just like the economy.
It will never fail.
That’s the whole point of MAGA!!
Start hiring and promoting white men again. Problem solved.
Its not just white men, it is all americans.
I agree with both sides of this argument. The truth is, that there probably is not enough credentialed talent prepared to fill these positions as things stand, however, Sundance is correct to point out that the solution is training and facilitating Americans to do those jobs. Keep talking Sundance, they’ll hear you.
The smug and contemptful tone that Elon and Vivek are using reveals how much they look down on us.
They could have said, “Look, we understand that Americans have been let down by a generation of off-shoring, recessions, and a failing education system. We will help American workers catch up, but we need jobs filled right now.”
What Elon and Vivek told us instead was, “Your American culture is inferior and you are retarded.”
I’m not even exaggerating. Elon really did promote a tweet calling us “retarded.”
Elon and Vivek are not America First. They truly do consider us as second class citizens in our own country.
Musk solves problems, gets things done, builds things. He is very good at that. He up sets the educated and intelligent people here. He is very good at that too. Because we need to be upset and fix this broken system ruining our culture and ruined our educational system. Look at what is happening in our government, our schools, our culture. It is far removed from what it was 50 years ago or 30 years ago. It is broken and has to be fixed or we become like India and South Africa.
Then Musk can STFU and become a teacher. Hell he’d for sure be the world’s most awesome cool genius bestest teacher that ever lived in all of time, eleventy!!!!!!!! Right? 🙄
No? Insult Americans instead? With an unbelievably obnoxious tweet? And then BAN a huge Twitter account, remove paid subscriptions, and threaten her with permanent banning, because she asked Free Speech God Elon for accountability?
Yeah… winning plan.
YOU ARE WRONG! THESE CORPORATIONS JUST DO NOT WANT TO HIRE AMERICANS BECAUSE THEY CAN HIRE THE FOREIGNERS MORE CHEAPLY AND GET ALL KINDS OF GOVT KICKBACKS TOO….
This x 1000. As soon as you acknowledge a fraction of their bogus argument, they will attempt to open up the legal floodgates. And it doesnt matter what restrictions they put. There is no compromise to be had. Only option is less immigration at every level.
There are those people. They’re white men. They have no chance at the job openings, and no chance of being promoted. All that goes to fill up the EEO form with the required representation of “minority” groups. It’s getting to be like that John Travolta movie. Bend back the arc, it’s gone way too far to one side. Nobody ever says china needs to be more diverse.
“Nobody ever says china needs to be more diverse”
Africa for Africans
China for the Chinese

White countries for … EVERYONE !!!
I spent my entire career in systems software and embedded engineering. It is precisely because of the H1-Bs that there are not as many USA engineers as the businesses might like. Had US engineers been better paid (due to fewer inferior H1-Bs being available) there would have been more interest in people choosing engineering training and careers. Continuing to allow the glut of H1-B’s will just continue to hold down the number of US engineers.
This is sort of like businesses being addicted to a drug. It will be better for them in the long run, to wean themselves off the addiction.
This is similar to many other strategic things. Developing domestic sources of all those things that are required for the USA to thrive is important. It may be more expensive in the short run, but not being dependent on other countries who may not be as friendly to the USA as we like to imagine is vital to the long term interests of the USA. Local engineering talent is another essential resource.
Exactly
Spot on. When it started I saw lots of developers lose their job to inferior H1B visa holders. It was always about the money.
Yep. Engineers are underpaid.
I just recently came across …
https://thenationalpulse.com/analysis-post/big-techs-h1b-arguments-arent-just-false-theyre-also-immoral/
Blaming students for being poor products of our sabotaged educational system is like blaming wheat for not growing in a drought.
What kind of billionaire system architect ignores the obvious problems in our educational system to focus on things that were true 50 years ago but didn’t stop us then?
Yes there are, far more than enough credentialed American people in America, to do STEM jobs.
Just not at the price multinational companies want to pay.
And they’re white.
Therein lies the difference.
Elon Musk has ALWAYS been a liar and a fraud. Vivek Ramaswamy has ALWAYS been a quick talker fraud.
White American has become a bad word, which is becoming acceptable to the Mar A Lago Cool Kids Table firmly ensconced on President Trumps’s coattails.
Free speech savior my big butt… Ask Laura Loomer what a free speech savior Elon Musk is.
I wonder what Stephen Miller has to say about that… I remember he was very vocal about immigration and student Visas.
And his wife will be working with DOGE
https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/113698968253776860
At least she took the last name of her husband.
Republicans.
Elon and Vivek have a point. The Left owns academia and the US education system has been dumbed down for years.
The US rank 16th out of 81 countries in Science as of 2022.
The US ranked 34th out of 81 countries in Math as of 2022.
The top 5 math and science countries are all in Asia.
79% of US adults are literate. However, 54% of them have a literacy below the 6th grade level.
For a developed country, the US education and literacy stats are appalling.
I am with Elon and Vivek. Highly educated and skilled employees are required in the tech industry and the number of people required cannot be hired unless some are brought in from foreign countries.
The best and smartest “workers” on the planet can still be exploited .
I think it was a Pat Buchanan quote on efficiency..
Something about it is a nice goal but it is not an altar where we should worship.
Elon and Vivek could have gently made that point with empathy and a promise to help Americans catch up. Instead, they likened our Country to a “sports team,” called us “retarded,” and told us American culture is “inferior.” They are smug foreigners who look down on you and me. I am not with them and neither should any self-respecting MAGA supporter.
A glowing reason why the President has to be born in America. Made in the USA so to speak.
The owners of The Green Dragon might beg to differ…
Is that because Americans are stupid or is it because our government and leftists have destroyed the educational system? How can we Make “America” Great Again by replacing Americans with so-called smart foreigners? How about Make America Great Again by making “Americans” Great Again.
Our government and leftists have destroyed the educational system.
“……..by replacing Americans with so-called smart foreigners?”
If these “smart foreigners” are so smart, then why aren’t they generating an abundance of prosperity in their own home nations?
Because they are here, getting freebies.
Consider this and our economy….the demise of many upscale stores…due to the lower prices of places such as Walmart.
Commodities are cheaper for the lower classes to purchase…more participation in the economy…while at the same time, lowering the standards of quality and life in general for the average American.
One group got a hand out and hand up…the other group got shafted.
The Left has destroyed the education system. They love mediocrity and a world where everyone loses together. I suspect that is why President Trump wants to get rid of the department of education, which promotes Left wing propaganda and specializes in woke garbage and creating victim groups.
It will take years to get the US education system back on track.
PDJT also wants to ,..PROMISED to institute Nationwide School Choice, where education $ goes with the student, whether for public, private, parochial or home school.
If he is successful, this could bring about a rapid turn around in the U.S. education system, and dessimate the Public Teachers Unions.
Az. and IIRC, at least one other State have passed laws setting up such a system and they bhave gone to incredible lengths to prevent them from actually being enacted.
This will be one of many hard fought battles PDJT will be engaging in, in order to keep his campaign promises.
You said it better than I could have.
.
I’ve seen no evidence that there’s a shortage of American workers for these specific industries. This is about costs, expediency.
.
There is a shortage of Americans willing to work for slave wages. That’s what this is about…
This is about
costs, expediencyprofit, pure and simple. Making the most amount of money in the shortest amount of time. And never mind long term consequences. And if you do wind up making a complete mess of things, just hire a foreign born maid to clean it up……….The scale’s too large for your argument, they don’t need 20 million visas.
And it won’t take us long to find the handful of geniuses needed at the top.
civic nationalism is a false god.
tell me you’re a boomer without having to tell me you’re a boomer.
You do know that the education system in India is very unequal. To begin, there is a difference between public and private schools. There are difference between village and city schools. You do know that they have affirmative action for the untouchables and all that entails.
We have problems with our schools and the government made damn sure that certain schools come up short. If the government here were serious about teaching our kids then they would eliminate teachers unions, allow charter schools, and eliminate forced bussing to dead end schools.
There are a host of actions that can be done to turn around public schools, but, like that freak comedian George Carlin, who turned out to be right, said about our schools: they are meant to be this way. They are designed to educate our kids to a point and no further. The broken schools will not be fixed because they are built to be that way. They are not broken, just like border, the lawlessness in cities. All by design.
What these a-holes say about our schools are correct to a degree, but, what they don’t say is that the same government which hands out visas is also the same government which make sure our schools remain, on the whole, woefully inadequate. Our government fears a great people. Therefore, of all the nations in the world, I have come to the conclusion that our government fears We the People the most. They call us racist, stupid, flood us with drugs, porn, etc. In the meantime, they intentionally create racial animosity, give us crap schools, open the borders to drugs and encourage it with lapse drug enforcement and legislation that encourages gateway drugs. Oh yeah, put in these crazy jurist, like Hugo Black, into the supreme court to argue, for the first time in the history of our nation, that porn is protected speech!! A vulnerable chick getting banged in degrading manner is free speech, but, don’t have a satirical float in a parade about Obama or you will be cancelled! Harcore porn is protected by the governement!!! Do you see it? It is protected by the government. Do you get it? In short, they are actively trying to weaken us.
I do hope that Trump will do something about, but, I doubt it with all these Lilliputians tying him down like Vivek Runtswampy, Fredo, and so on. We need to do it ourselves as individuals at first. Our kids are in the balance!
There are many fine schools in wealthy suburbs that tend to be predominantly white and Christian. And some good ones in the cities here and there. A lot of kids graduate high school well educated. And not all leftied up. College is whack. Some survive. Engineering is less whack than most. Plenty of talent to draw from. That’s like the old joke right? Waiter has an engineering degree?
You make some good points. The corruption in the education system is doing nothing but harming children. Not sure how you fix the mess. It will be a gargantuan task and President Trump cannot do so in 4 years.
One thing for sure…upscale and IVY league curricula are a lot different that average run of the mill colleges…and these private commercial for profit colleges? They teach to a test…to provide ‘workers’.
CORPORATIONS DO NOT WANT TO HIRE AMERICANS BECAUSE THEY CAN HIRE THE FOREIGNERS MORE CHEAPLY.
AND THIS AMERICA LAST STARTS WHEN COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES GIVE SEATS IN AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES TO SO MANY FOREIGNERS. ALL IN THE NAME OF DIVERSITY!
The federal grant system for companies to apply for and get money for foreign workers, needs to end.
Hospitals are big participants in this sort of thing.
I think people have different definitions of smart.
This is about importing cheap labor. That’s it.
This whole thing is one big scam. The countries where only smart people come are not the US and Europe but places where the cultures not even remotely like ours. Most rapes are just fine in countries like India.
But I’m sure they will change instantly and love George Washington the minute they get here.
Its not JUST the “cheap” factor.
These H1b employees are defacto endentured; if they lose employment, they have 24 hours to leave the Country.
Both they and their employer knowing this,
can not help but change the employer/employee dynamic, in a way advantageous to the employer.
The closest they can get to this with an American employee, is if the employee is terrified of losing their health insurance.
Not the same as knowing if they are fired, the must leave the country, and go back to the land of cow dung and flies…
We Americans have to recognize the truth here and not respond like our hair’s on fire over it. Elon, Vivek etc, blundered in their delivery for sure but they are not wrong in what they are saying totally. Time to rewind and clear the air and get moving forward again. We can get hung up on our high horses or we can recognize where we need and have to make changes. Our kids are the ones who will be facing mediocracy in their careers in the stem fields going forward. We need to make some drastic changes and it needs to start on Jan.20. Education reform should be top priority from the get go. We possibly only have 4 years to make substantial changes so we have to make sure it gets done. Criticize and rant all you want to but the truth is staring us in the face here and we need to recognize it.
I agree. The changes to the education system must be immediate and drastic. I think it will take more than 4 years to get education back on track. The Left has owned academia for way too long.
Nationwide School choice, aka School Vouchers can change the whole nature of the Educational system in this country, K-12 very quickly.
And not all public schools will close, but underperforming ones will, for sure.
And all of those students, stuck in underperforming schools, will have the opportunity to get good educations, as the public schools that remain open will constantly have to aspire to greatness, in order to keep up with the competition.
Since the DOGE people are just soooo smart, why didn’t they come up with the RIGHT idea – which is we have found that America’s education system is extremely lacking and WE need to get on that immediately instead of going to the most obvious and CHEAPEST solution? Just how smart is the DOGE group??
How would it work for you, Elon and Vivek, if you just go over to India and live and work there and have the Indian people work for you in factories THERE? Then sell THOSE products to people in India.
How is it not working at cross-purposes to talk about tariffs on things made cheaply in the PRC or anywhere else and yet it is OK to hire immigrants that you are planning to pay less while living in our more expensive economy?
Who have successfully lobbied to have their spouses allowed to also take jobs from citizens? It’s always a double hit on US born.
Great Post, suejeanne!
And this is the result of going deep into Elon and Vivek…suddenly, we are seeing more than I think TPTB want us to. And are able to trod thru the weeds…
These two fall in my Tucker category of ‘wait and see’…
In the 1990s, when Clinton opened up the H1B visa market, I happened to be working and living in Silicon Valley. I was a sales manager for an insurance company that sold voluntary benefits. Once we got an account we would go into each business and talk to each employee personally. I remember at that time American engineers were making approximately $100,000 a year. I remember specifically interviewing one man who said he was not going to have a job soon because he made $100,000. He told me “See that guy over there? He’s from India. They can pay him $60,000. Who do you think they want to hire?
So, as I see it, the Indians could live many more to a house than Americans would, and save money to “get ahead”, require excellence in their children’s education and strive for wealth, usually without Christian morality, while the Americans now have no incentive to even try to get those jobs because they won’t get them.
That is not good for morale. So I think the downfall of the American spirit is part of the problem. It started with a horrible education system that didn’t teach excellence, a decline of morality and demoralization of workers through importation of cheap replacement labor which has now been going on for generations. Americans in general have had nothing to look forward to. That’s why Make America Great Again is such a powerful symbol for people to look forward to. Change America back to excellence. But it won’t happen overnight and we can’t expect it to. Our children have not been trained for it, but they do want it.
Well said
I just had to look it up to make sure when H1B visa started. It actually became a law in 1990 under George HW Bush, but Clinton was the President I remember pushing it.
https://www.visaverge.com/h1b/the-history-and-origin-of-the-h-1b-visa-program/
Vivek says he’s a practicing Hindu. They believe in and worship many false gods & goddesses. He & JD went to the same school, both have ties to the Soros family. I’m pretty sure that neither Ramaswamy nor Mrs. JD Vance’s parents have bothered to become American citizens but still owe allegiance to India. So, I question whether they’re America First or India First. Vivek has tried to cover up his connections to the WEF and thus the NWO. Vivek has also tried to cover up his involvement with the vaxx, as others have commented here. I don’t think Elon has become a naturalized American citizen.
Too many people are hero worshipping Elon and Vivek. Look deeper. Elon doesn’t believe in God, does he? If he does, why would he use a profile picture of himself dressed as Baphomet with a satanic goat’s head and inverted cross in the center of his chest? He did this for a year. He also wore a mockery of a Christian priest’s garb to the Met Gala. It was a white jacket with a black priest’s collar. On the back were the Latin words for New World Order. He thinks he can improve upon God’s creation by implanting chips in our brains to make us better. Musk was majority owner of a brain implant company called Neuralink. He also admitted that those chips, once implanted, can be controlled by outside forces. Would Elon be the one in control?
See Met Gala photos in this interview of Elon’s girlfriend:

Glad you brought this up. As it says in the Bible, “you cannot serve two masters”. ‘America First” does not mean America/South Africa/India/Israel First.
Vivek’s parents are American citizens.
What wars have Vi FAKES parents and children faught for? India? USA?
My dad received his coveted US citizenship when he signed up with the US Army to go to Korea.
He became an American, came back, too…
I never ever heard him voice any allegiance to New Zealand other than his childhood memories of his family, and… bringing the cows out to pasture and bringing them in at the end of the day.
Not true, Sparky. At best, Vivek’s mother may have become a US citizen after coming to the USA but his father has not.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/vivek-ramaswamy-shares-familys-citizenship-110041086.html
According to Wikipoo:
Vivek is an anchor Baby. His father may not yet be an American citizen.

Usha’s Family…
When someone tells us who they are….we should listen. Musk, Ramaswamy, Vance, Thiel, etc. all come from the same cloth..and, it “may” be America First but definitely not Americans First!
Who is JD Vance and why has he been elevated to such prominence?
JD Vance has changed his name many times.
Born: James Donald Bowman
Birth Parents: Donald Bowman and Beverly Vance

We can get upset because someone said a version of the “Emperor has no clothes.”
The truth hurts..we are a nation of spoiled, privileged, under-achievers whose students have never seen consequences for their failures. They are taught by many teachers that don’t like math or boys.
They cater to the lowest common denominator in school.
We are far to good to work diligently. DEI is another catastrophe.
The academics have ruined us with their Polynannic Utopian view of the world.
.
What you said has merit “in general”.
Be that as it may, it’s not been true for some time now in the STEM fields in which white American boys — by far the largest group of college applicants for these majors — have had to buck systemic DEI admissions criteria and be exemplary just to get into and be a graduate of a top university in these fields.
.
I am sick and tired of all of these people already and President Trumps new term hasn’t even started yet.
Yes, I agree – we were counting on having a resurgent America under President Trump – not to be told by foreigners what is wrong with our country and that they will fix it according to their opinions – NO. It will be very disappointing if Trump does not get on this immediately and let these guys know who is THE BOSS – and it ain’t them.
“Our American culture”
lol lmao even
as if this indian scammer would know.
What does it tell us about those “home countries” that are willing to see their children grow up and run off to a foreign land? If these are their best and brightest we are importing, then it’s their best and brightest that they are exporting. How does this “brain drain” affect the long term prosperity of places like India? Will they eventually become so downtrodden that America must support them as a welfare state that can’t survive on its own?
Guess this outing of who these Tech people really are didn’t take long; Laura Loomer’s account has been unverified and Elon Musk is bringing back blocking features:
the X says “jut a reminder that the algorithm is trying to maximize unregretted user-seconds. If far more credible, verified subscriber accounts (not bots) mute/block your account compared to those who like your posts, your reach will decline significantly.”
I think his friend Vivek didn’t like being criticized so the free speech experiment is apparently ended.
That was quick.
Very convenient timing to bring back these features while MAGA is busy calling out Elon and Vivek’s America Last rhetoric. The foreign tech overlords are not pleased.
There was someone who even ‘fact check’ed a comment, or X, by Elon.
Seems free speech doesn’t mean speech he and Vivek don’t like. This is now going to put an extremely dark cloud over everything the D.O.G.E. tries to do –
Some may blame Laura Loomer for bringing up the subject of H1-B visas and mixing them in with the topic of illegal immigration – I blame Ramaswamy for taking the bait and then disclosing to the world his distaste of Americans and their culture.
Better to find out both men are posers before it’s too late, and by their own actions too.
It reminds me of the Greek goddess Eris, wasn’t invited to a wedding of fellow gods and goddesses so showed up anyway and threw an apple into the middle of the group with the inscription ‘for the fairest goddess’ and the lady goddesses all started fighting over who the apple was for –
Laura Loomer just threw that apple into the pile of AI ‘gods’ and the fight was on. The other one is said to have started the Trojan War or one similar to that.
Pretty sure Ms Loomer has started the great Immigration/Tech war with D.O.G.E. the first casualty.
President Trump might want to step in and put Elon and Vivek back into their places before more damage is done.
They need to shut up, sit down at their table, hands folded, facing the front of the room and wait for instructions frm the great MAGA Teacher.,
are doing irreparable damage to the middle American class
Mod please delete.
Behavior of petty middle-school girls, it’s been a plague on the country ever since Obama.
They have overstepped and need to be reined in – NOW.
Elon is NOT saying X will block in this tweet!
He is saying if people do not like you they will choose to block your posts from their own view or (maybe from commenting on your own posts and feed).
I block posts from different individuals on some social media platforms from my view. I do not want to see constantly posts from flaming buttheads. What they spew or “share” is of no interest to me. This is not the platform censoring. It is me choosing my interests and how I want to use the platform. Sometimes not “following” these pesky intruders is not enough to keep them out of my “space” and thus, use the block button and make sure I have not inadvertently started to “follow” them.
Elon just proved the point he was trying to make about Americans and education. Most read his post as X doing the blocking. And then some more read it incorrectly when presented with the “sharing” X wants to censor and block.
Individuals blocking from partaking in others’ posts is nothing more than boycotting, or there not being a demand for what someone has to say.
How much is this related to cheap labor and how much of this is this Elon’s obsession with declining birth rates?
Or is declining birth rates just an excuse for more cheap labor?
I fail to understand the importance of growing the population endlessly as productivity increases.
Mainly cheap labor. For most of these people. I don’t think they care about Americans, because they can’t. Almost everyone them is a foreigner or 1st Gen.
Declining birth rates has to do with the welfare state and economic growth.
Import in millions of foreigners means America will be gone.
Americans not having babies means America will be gone.
There’s only one real choice and it doesn’t involve importing foreigners.
There are two compelling and inter-related reasons for large families in 3rd World Countries.
Firstly, without a Social Security type system, the parents look to their grown children to takr care of them, when they get too old to work.
And, with higher childhood deaths, they have lots of kids, so that there will be lots of adult children to share the burden.
Social Security and medical advances eliminates these compelling reasons for having large families.
Only one part of a big, complicated problem, but probably a big factor in why in all developed Countries, birth rates are down.
Side deal…
Declining birth rates and jobs ….don’t forget that there are an immense number of jobs that are now required, due to the expansion of the “Regulatory State”. Deflate the regulatory state and part of a problem will be solved…
Sundance – “What we need are training and recruitment centers for American students.” Ive been saying this for years. And i’ve also been saying this too. Americans First for American jobs. If Trump follows through with this I will start my personal campaign against him and his Administration. America First means Americans First. They had better figure it out.
Is China recruiting all the so called best from India to work in China? Don’t see those numbers anywhere. If all these people are so brilliant, why aren’t they making their country better? Or are they? Are these people importing into the US the worst aspects of their culture? What are those? Maybe they’re all angels? Why is the US government facilitating importing all of these people against the will of most Americans? Why do foreigners or first Gen immigrants not understand America or Americans? They know TV though! Maybe it’s because they live in enclaves and just recreate the same problems? Why are there no super smart people from a similar culture who want to immigrate here en masse?
China has the most STEM graduates and students
in the World.
No need for them to recruit from India.
And why it appears China may be giving
monetary incentives to their STEM
graduates to stay in China.
🤷♀️💁💁♂️🤦♀️
But we’re being told these people are the smartest ever!
America First…when campaigning.
Not so much once they start to taste that power!
India: It’s Worse Than You Think
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/india-its-worse-you-think
Yes…insightful article…and the comments, some are hard to digest.
SIMPLE SOLUTION: “America FIRST H1-B Visas”
Every Company hiring an H1-B Visa Worker must CONCURRENTLY
1 – FIRST limit the NON-RENEWABLE H1-B Visa to 12 months, after which the Worker returns to their home country.
2 – FIRST hire and train an American-born Citizen – to QUALIFY for the H1-B Visa-Approval – who REPLACES the H1-B Worker within the 12-month Visa Period.
Translation:
A – Every H1-B Visa Worker is hired to “Maximize ROI” as a TRAINER-of-MANY, not a SINGLE-WORKER.
B – Every Hiring Company begins recruiting High-School STEM Stars into University Programs they sponsor, with Intermittent Internships during 5-6 year college enrollments to build Student Supply Chains that “Maximize ROI”.
Christmas Conflict As Cracks Appear In The MAGA-Tech Alliance
Thank you for your post. Good to read there is much back pedaling and ‘splaining to do in order to save face. Do you know the recipe for” humble pie?” Looks like that is going to be a very popular dish in the coming month. LMAO.
The USA is a nation of immigrants whose talents flourished under the freedom of Constitutional Liberty & Rights. The USA should gladly welcome with open arms immigrants who are highly educated, highly skilled, and highly motivated to pursue their own paths to excellence and prosperity in this land of opportunity. Natural born Americans have been for far too long suppressed and dumbed-down by the Anglo-American Globalist Establishment in their quest to create a docile, obedient, ignorant, and subordinate subclass of future serfs. With the advent of the MAGA nationalist movement, hopefully natural born Americans will once again be given the opportunity to live in clean, safe, orderly communities where they can be properly educated so they too can rise to excellence and prosperity.
Wow. Quite the brouhaha blowing up over this on December 26th…
Gives new meaning to Boxing Day.
Slow news day
JMO.
The America First, aka Hiring Americans, one-way discussion was had 8 years ago when President Trump came down the escalator.
It started and ended that day ……. President Trump stated that MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, meant hiring Americans, not foreigners, and building your plant in the USA, not Mexico, etc.
End of discussion …….. no newbie MAGA in 2024 will change that …… if he tries, he isn’t MAGA, and won’t be part of the President Trump team ……… end of story.
Elon and the V may have to eat some of their bad choice of words. Or not. Their choice.
It isn’t the first nor last time a backer has to “get back” in line with the program. President Reagan had to crack the whip several times to get a cabinet member back in line with President Reagan’s program.
Americans don’t need no stinkin’, unthankful, newbie MAGAs telling the hardcore MAGAs why we just fought an 8 year battle to correct the ills of our Constitutional Republic’s government in DC. We know the problems, and hiring foreigners has never been part of the solutions.
Newbie MAGAs are always welcome, if they are real MAGAs. If they are faux MAGAs, we have no patience nor need for them.
“Let’s go Brandon and all the damn democrats, up and down the ticket.
So what Sundance is saying is that President Donald J. Trump has been bamboozled? Again?
Hardly.
He gave a speech in NJ at Bedminster before the election saying we were going to allow a lot of people to come in to the country because of Ai. You can find the video on youtube
Laura Loomer lost her blue checkmark and subscriptions tonight. It seems that Elon isn’t taking the criticism well.
https://x.com/bpcostello/status/1872486940274008293
Guys and Gals. There can not be any compromise. Legal immigration like illegal immigration only has one purpose – lower wages for higher corporate profits. I work with H1Bs and they universally stink and have very poor communication. If India is so great, why don’t these yahoos setup shop there?
A big part of their stand is that they pay Indian so called engineers half of what American engineers want. American engineers are better educated and skilled. Indians come over knowing nothing and have to be taught everything. And guess who has to train them. Doesn’t matter it’s cheaper to hire them. They get them green cards with a phone call.
Its not just the lower wages.
If the employee loses his job, he has 24 hrs. to go home.
That gives the employer an incredible leverage over the employee.
The employee is not going to get the employer into a ‘bidding war’ for his labor, by telling the employer he has a “better offer, unless you’d care to give me a raise?”
Its virtual indentured servitude, complete with contracts, I guess.
Elon and Vivsk screwed the pooch on this, aren’t walking it back, and at some point PDJT is going to have to weigh in.
Why do Americans not understand CULTURAL DIFFERENCES MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Being brought up in South Africa, India or any other emerging world country outside of the United States you will ALWAYS have a globalist mindset. You will ALWAYS believe labor comes from a different country. You may be a capitalist from perspectives of finance and money, but you grew up in a socialist country. That’s why this bunch of wealthy transplants can’t understand the offense of in suggesting American jobs are best served by foreign workers. Workers who work for pennies and think a job in the US is Nirvana. Why is Trump so brain dead when it comes to what makes MAGA tick. Is it because he has never struggled, had a small home in a neighborhood filled with struggling neighbors who drop everything to enlist in the military to preserve America’s heritage and future? What is it with politicians that they simply don’t get much of it? And, what’s wrong with Americans who seem to think Trump and his Doge are our saviors even going so far as to ignorantly agreeing to the suggestion Elon should be Speaker of the House or why Ramaswamey a lucky tech worker who himself was H1B. What’s the big sin with nationalism? Hell I think we ought to become isolationists and worry about America – stop all foreign aid, NATO and other Ponzi schemes to bilk even more money out of the taxpayers. Maybe the whole shebang should crash. Maybe, just maybe, real Americans will be the ones to rebuild our Republic. Otherwise, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Sorry for the rant, but I’m so totally fed up with the ignorance of the people – both in Washington and in the hinterland.
Sorry misspoke – Ramaswamey’s father was the HIB engineer.
No, Ramaswamy’s father is a low level patent clerk, and not for GE as Ramaswamy lied.
Vivek lies a lot … He is not a good guy …
In an interview with Tucker, he announced we need MORE immigration …
No thanks. We don’t need the rest of India to empty out in the U.S..
In the same interview he chastised Trump from withdrawing from TPP.
He is a closet globalist.
Taking Soros money when he didn’t have to was a no brainer for him.
Don’t forget his involvement in big pharma.
Does anyone out there know how these individuals who make pennies on the dollar, wanting America’s “nirvana”…can afford to get here?
From what I understand, the caste system over yonder, keeps them from being able to afford a simple train ticket…
I think your frame of reference keeps you from seeing what is happening to our culture and public education system.
” What’s the big sin with nati0nalism? Hell I think we ought to become isolationists and worry about America – stop all foreign aid, NATO and other Ponzi schemes to bilk even more money out of the taxpayers. Maybe the whole shebang should crash. Maybe, just maybe, real Americans will be the ones to rebuild our Republic.”
Agree completely. I’ve been concerned about Elon and Vivek re: them being recent transplants to America. But gave them the benefit of the doubt when I thought back to my grandfather, who immigrated to America at the age of 13, and my great-grandmother who immigrated from Germany. Both of them were 100% hard-working American patriots.
I’m disgusted with Elon and Ramaswamey and praying that Trump takes notice of their recent remarks.
Well, from my way back machine about “Nationalism”…
My parents and I were having dinner with family friends, in a Chinese restaurant, in Panama City, Republica de Panama…around Treaty negations.
A Panamanian gentleman stood up and started bloviating in Spanish about the canal and the canal zone was ‘theirs’…that he knew how to speak English but chose not to…because he was a Panamanian and loved his country…my dad’s friend quietly translated for us…to say it was an attempt at intimidation a more was said, is an understatement.
Internet shutdown probably on the way as they have a hissy fit.
Most of these specialized H-1 B employees do nothing to reinvest in our economy. That is what these technocrats don’t seem to understand or care about.
Maybe I should hold my tongue, but I am 3rd generation West European immigrant, and today I spent the day at Magic Kingdom FL with my first generation nephew and immigrant wife and her Mother from Shanghi.
1/2 the people there today didn’t speak any English. Half them were tourists, I am good with them, thank you to them. But, the other 1/4 were very obviously SA Aztec or African welfare 4 kid single mother imports that could not afford the $1500 admission fees without taxpayer subsidy.
I’ll stop there except to say that on the tram going back to the car, I had to inform someone a second time that if he didn’t help me assist me helping the visiting Korean couple with a double stroller and her husband on (obviously an injure in the lastvday or two) crutches getting off the tram, his life expectancy was being significantly to be diminished. To his a credit, he did.
Sorry, I am very angry what has been done to our country.
A huge backlash is not only justified, but neccesary.
Indians are not ‘good’ at tech.. Indians are good at crowding out others and then selling services to each other… the parasites embedded in US companies buy substandard tech services from the socialist tech giants back home.
It’s a global joke. Everyone knows India tech is terrible, but a mafia is going to mafia….
This is a complicated, multi-faceted problem. I am in tech, so my perspective is certainly biased. This is NOT a learn-to-code post. We need to immediately shut down illegal immigration. We need to kick ALL the illegal immigrants out. We need to reduce and finally stop importing H1-B workers. We need to drive InfoSys, TCS (Tata), and all the other H1-B body shops out of this country. That can start at the Gov level, but it’s happening at every level — state gov agencies, and private companies. We need to educate and train American workers to fill these jobs. Because the next leg up in America’s medium-term growth is technical — robotics, AI, nuclear, etc., it’s going to take a generation to get there. I think it’s necessary to make an honest appraisal of where we are.
I think its hard to argue against — some portion of our society is not productive. In Los Angeles, I have seen a grifter mentality take over. Workers filing fake disability claims, tenants claiming false slip-and-fall accidents to sue landlords, government workers who get paid well but watch TV on their phone all day instead of working, etc. These are uneducated, lazy people who feel entitled: someone must pay them to live comfortably. Again, this is a long-term problem that must be addressed. Maybe these people fill the jobs currently filled by illegals?
At the K-12 level, America’s education system has become extremely dumbed down. I am raising a kid now and see how low the bar is with common core, repeating the same things year after year. America’s culture may be one of freedom, ingenuity, and get-shit-done, but education must be addressed immediately for our next generation to be competitive skill-wise. If American schools can’t turn out well-educated students who are interested in pursuing the jobs of the future, we are doing something wrong.
At the college level, many American students have become mentally crippled by woke crap. I experienced this decades ago. The technical fields which feed into grad school have been impacted with DEI goals rather than meritocracy, much like our law schools and medical schools admitting based on race, gender, and non-straight sexual preference.
The grad schools that turn out our most capable are largely educating foreigners (largely Chinese, for example, in machine learning and ML grad programs). A small percentage of those grads settle here, the majority return to their home countries where they may be employed by American companies with offices in their home countries. We are either training our competition at a national level (globalism), or publicly funding cheaper remote workers who compete with our own (public loss, private gain). We need to direct our own students to pursue useful fields and educate them, rather than educating foreigners often on taxpayers’ dime.
Well done, Renderok.
RE my post above @ 11:23 pm, how can we force the corporations to own the education-and-training requirements?
The real reason is that they will work for less money, not because they are smarter or have a better work ethic, that is garbage.
Someone I know and speak to daily is a PhD Professor who teaches computer science, at a fairly large University.
Before his PhD he was a software developer for reliability software for major military hardware and software. He is brilliant and smart.
A large contingent of my professor friends undergraduates and graduate students are from India, and if Musk and Vivek think these future H1-B are their answers for “the right kind of talent” then they lack insight, are stupid, disingenuous or all 3.
These students come to the US with some type of degree or classes that should have prepared them for their US degrees at his school. However, they literally can’t manage the basics of math or logic required to understand the basics to code. They cheat with each other, they have no work ethic and expect him to pass them. These students expect to get jobs in the US when they are done and have no desire to return to India.
The university keeps bringing them in because it’s money for the school.
I can tell you that line of “special talent” and “work ethic” are bull* and a cover for lower wages.
These students from India (at least at this university) have neither special talents nor work ethic. So Imo, based on my friends teaching experience, this narrative is propaganda for wanting lower wage earners.
I think thy are all full of crap. The immigration industry needs critically looked at including the H1-B mafia. Talk to customer service, tell me we’re getting top talent, we are NOT. Swamimami needs to emigrate to india and invent toilets and sewage treatment. Let’s get those grampa-calling boiler rooms shut down, yes-yes. They are all a bunch of ripoff artists, prove different. The american public is watching team DOGE with keen interest, do what you said you came to do or depart D.C. PLEASE get busted embezzling money.
Lara Loomer has more credible gonads going for herself than any one of these chameleons sneaking up on and sucking up to Donald Trump. As much savy as The Don is supposed to have, he is sure falling into that glamour trap that those clowns are setting for him. At this rate, we loyal followers wont even get one seat at the cool kids table in his admin. Happy New Year Sundance and Family.
If we are not capable AT THE MOMENT of supplying all the tech workers needed, just like in World War II we must step up making the supply of what we lack.
If that means focusing 110% on specific educational training in certain fields in the upcoming years, so be it. It is a national security issue.
While that training of Americans to fill tech fields kicks into full gear, we might have to temporarily hire HB1 visa holders for those fields.
There should be rules, though. The HB1 visas should be sparingly issued only when:
1. an American can’t fill the position,
2. Proof they have searched for a qualified American who cannot be trained before turning to HB1 visa holder,
3. written specific justification of why they need to fill spot with an HB1 visa holder, (specific training, only in STEM and Tech related positions)
4. the visa should be of limited term, and not endlessly renewed
5. the foreign visa holder should be paid as much as an American would earn filling the spot -so that it wouldn’t be cheaper to hire an HB1 visa holder rather than an American.
Remember Disney firing Americans and forcing them to train their HB1 replacements? Why were Americans fired in order to fill with HB1.workers? Were those even STEM/Tech fields?
You don’t get it. There are already rules for H1B that are blanketly ignored and pushed asside. The program needs to be killed yesterday.
I do get it. Enforce the rules. At the end of each limited visa term, a new search for an American to fill the position should happen and the steps again must be followed. Make it harder to hire an HB1 visa holder rather than a qualified American. And make it expensive to keep them.
Start naming all the big tech people you know who are billionaires…and they need cheap labor….so they can pocket more billions.
This whole need cheap labor scenario doesn’t hold water.
The bastards are so greedy they don’t even want to pay Americans good wages to let them share in the wealth.
I cry foul!
Enough is enough.
Vivek has the goal wrong. We don’t want “America”, a land mass, or a single group/segment residing on a land mass to win. We want Americans, the individuals, ALL of them, with their own unique cultures to win.
Spent many years working in IT and saw a growing number of Indian workers. They were hired to lower costs – period. The issue I have working with Indians is their culture. They don’t question anything only do what they are told. When a software project chosen by the IT director (Indian) was failing badly, people spoke up until they were told to literally just shut up. I was not working on the project, but saw what was happening; seen it to many times. I went over his head to the VP and she agreed to look into it. In two weeks the project was killed. Then the two levels of management between me and the director were reassigned. Later many if not most of those people were laid-off including the two managers that had been reassigned. Of course the IT director kept his job. He also had another project that he justified that the $10M cost would be covered by replacing other software – it too failed in replacing the other software and he cost the company the $10M. In total he cost the company at least $15 to $20M dollars as well as a lot of time lost. Having also worked with a lot of H1B visa holders I can personally confirm they are less competent in most cases. The other side of the coin I have spent time with managers with specific complaints about US workers and in most cases they are millennials. The worse countries to work with in my experience though is Malaysia followed by China, and then India.
Maybe it’s not so much about the lower wages but about having people who have no allegiance to American values and are more than willing to trample all over American’s rights through tech for the government. Especially when hating whites and especially white males is en vogue with the ‘cosmopolitans’.
Thanks Sundance for raising up this discussion – very important topic for MAGA and for America’s future.
This is not a simple issue of job opportunity, keeping H1-B policy would profoundly lead to reshaping our nation’s fabric, civilization, and the way of our values and life. Essentially, H1-B policy is similar to open-boarder policy, just scale difference, they both damage America structurally, they are both driven by greed of money and power, in my view. One may argue, H1-B is at most “small bad” – but necessary for our needs, Open-Boarder is much “bigger bad”, they are not comparable.
Reality check on H1-B policy: (1) “H1-B is needed because foreign engineers are more capable than American engineers” – my observation in hard-core engineering fields: in general, American engineers demonstrate better performance. (2) “There are not enough American engineers for our needs” – It’s not true, many good American engineers did not get the job opportunities due to the radical left DEI. (3) “American engineers are lazy” – Corporate Employers need to rebalance their desire of maximizing profit and their view of employees who are not slaves. Certainly, some people do need to revisit their work ethics, but it is not just one group people issue, it happens to all groups. (4) “American culture issue on hardworking” – I agree that we do have certain culture issues which are shared by all countries. However, culture is not Civilization. Removing the foams (cultures), one can see that our Christian Civilization has been encouraging and empowering individuals self-reliance and creativity and going beyond and above, not only hard working but intelligent working and honestly working as default and demonstrated in many wonders in this world.
Questions for people who push H1-B and further H1-B without cap: (1) As “super smart one”, what things of America attract you to come and stay here? (2) If H1-Bs are more capable and they have better culture there, why don’t you move your business there and run there? (3) If Americans are replaced and deprived, will America still be the same country that attracted you here originally? (4) Do you love America or just the opportunity to be rich and to be above others?
The fundamental feature, which is also the most powerful advantage of a nation could have, that differentiates America from other countries is the Constitutional Republic of We the People based on the Constitution created by our funding fathers. That’s why America has been the unique beacon in this world. However, as our Founding father John Adams warned us, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. ”
It is critical for our people to conserve our society of such “a moral and religious People” for our sustainable republic based on our constitution. It requires that the Americans having such moral and beliefs to be the dominant body of this country and the dominant forces to drive this country in every aspects and all levels.
To meet the needs of our tech working force growth, the Executive branch and the Legislative branch need to coordinately work together for work force policies and related laws based on the vision and roadmap on economic structure and priorities – which is the real national security. H1-B is not the solution, actually it may significantly weaken our own technical strengths and competitive capability while diversifying and breaking up and eroding our society fabric, particularly, there is no assimilation requirements on the people imported. We need the visionary leaders like Mike Rowe to lead the cultivation, prioritization, growth and guidance of our work forces as a system of systems.
More accurately, I mean Christianity Civilization.
Also I think, to take certain people in must be under certain requirements and conditions – transparent to citizens.
I am distressed, but praying, because when I tried to post this article I was denied. I tried to repost someone else’s post about HB1 and was denied and then started seeing that many MAGA were posting that their blue check marks had been removed after they criticized Musk and Vivek over HB1. I’m one of those that was removed from Twitter years ago and I was so thankful when Musk bought it and I was able to return. Now I wait to see what is going to happen. Praying, but not even sure what to pray.
“Within the tone of their argument, they essentially say the American worker is (1) not intellectual enough; (2) doesn’t have the right work ethic; and the latest point of justification is that (3) American culture is to blame for their need to import foreign workers.”
And we can thank the Department of Education, public sch00l system K-12, the woke university system and the teachers unions. They have been dumbing down the future work force for decades.
