Lastly, if NATO decides to remove the word “proxy” from the pretense and put USA/U.K. troops openly on the ground in Ukraine, there will be more than just China and North-Korea in the Russian corner. Watch: Moldova, Syria, Serbia, Belarus and beyond.

I wish I could find the scholarly article about it, but Russia is, amazingly, FAR more of an ally with NK than China. China just sees NK as a buffer between China and SK and distrusts NK otherwise. Plus, NK has caused a militarization in China’s desired sphere of influence that is not in sync with China’s preferred stealthy takeover as the world’s hegemon via the purchase of corporate and political power centers in the West and a gradual military buildup. Then, the crouching tiger, hidden dragon reveals itself after it’s too late to respond.

Neil Dunn is our Congress critter (North Florida). Met him at a fundraiser right after Ukraine popped off and one of our boys asked him about the situation. His response, spouting the official NATO line, was that if we didn’t defend Ukraine then China would move on Taiwan.
Fast forward just two years and the West is running short of artillery rounds and equipment as a direct result of this strategy, making Taiwan even MORE vulnerable.
Oh, and to his great credit, our oldest boy responded that we had no business messing around in Russia’s back yard and that he didn’t want to go to war to defend Zelensky.

I’m just finishing up Gordon Chang’s latest book titled, Plan Red: China’s Project to Destroy America.
Chang argues that China will need to hit Japan, S. Korea, the Philippines, and Guam, when it makes its move for Taiwan.
He believes these attacks will be first-strike attacks to neutralize or limit any outside response.
It’s been an interesting read.

Ukraine – Zelenski Begs Russia To Renew Deals He Had Botched-
The actor who has been playing the President of Ukraine for a while is getting cold feet. Winter is coming and the energy networks of Ukraine are near to the point of total breakdown.
There could have been agreements in place to prevent that. But the Ukrainian side had botched those deals. Now Zelenski is begging to renew them.
In late 2022 the Russian military launched a bombing campaign against electricity switching stations in Ukraine. A lot of transformers got blown up. The Ukrainian military responded by concentrating its air defenses near electricity stations. That was exactly the effect the Russian’s had asked for. The air defense installations, not the electricity stations, had been their real target.
After splitting from the Soviet Union, Ukraine had had the best air defenses money could buy. During the fall and winter of 2022 most of it had been destroyed. The Russian campaign against electricity stations came to a halt.
In 2023/24 the Ukrainian military started its own campaign against infrastructure in Russia. Several refineries were hit by drones and went up into flames. Gasoline production in Russia was falling significantly and export of gasoline had to be stopped for a while.
The Russians retaliated by renewing their campaign against Ukraine’s electricity network. But this time the targets were not just switching stations but the generation facility themselves. The non-nuclear electricity production in Ukraine got decimated.

The US responded by sending them transformers. Now we have a shortage and ETN and WNC are suffering because of it.
Meanwhile, troops and materiel tat could have gotten to western NC in hours, sit at Fort Bragg. As General Flynn said in an interview last week, Lloyd Austin should be ashamed of himself. But of course, Lefties have no shame.
Disgrace: Pentagon Sent Moldy Equipment to Taiwan…
Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) sent a letter to Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin on Wednesday demanding an explanation for the revelation in September that the Department of Defense sent Taiwan, an informal ally of America’s, packages of military equipment that were expired, unusable, and, in some cases, moldy.
The Department of Defense Office of the Inspector General (DoD OIG) revealed in September that an audit had discovered the Pentagon made the delivery to Taiwan of “unserviceable and poorly packaged equipment and munitions.” Some of the pallets of equipment included gear “soaking wet and covered in mold.” Others included expired ammunition and messy packages of mismatched munitions that made it difficult for the Taiwanese to fully grasp what the Pentagon sent them.
The mistake cost over $700,000 in taxpayers’ funds to correct, the oversight office revealed.
